A good hotel that could be better if they had a kettle and tea bags in the room, if you you received complimentary water in the room and if they provided some simple food options for post 10pm.
Everything else was more than acceptable with a really good location.

I absolutely loved my stay here! The view was breathtaking, especially in the early morning when everything is so quiet and peaceful – it’s incredibly relaxing for the mind. If you’re booking, definitely try to get a room on the riverside. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a serene escape!

The property sits beside the Weser and is about 15-20min walk to the old town, very convenient. New and nicely furnished rooms.
The only downside was that a half-used bottle of the body lotion was found amongst the bottles in the toilet, guess the chamber maid forgot to replace it with a new one.

Wonderful!

I could not say one bad things about our Easter stay; it was really great! The room was comfy, the morning buffet was tasty. Waking up to the Lindt chocolate Bunnies outside guests' doors Easter morning was a charming detail. Thank you for a great stay.

Since I had no status and booked the lowest priced at hotel.com, the room was tiny and the promised city view was at a wall on the third floor. The room was stuffy and hot as the the temperature control was confusing to operate or it did not work at all. The check in was very slow. I waited in line for 30 min when I arrived at 4 pm. Everything was blamed on Covid procedure but there were only two people checking in about 12 guest in front of me.

Modern hotel in Bremen

I stayed here for one night on a business trip to Bremen. The hotel is very new and situated in a part of Bremen that is being redeveloped. Being new the condition of the hotel and amenities is very good. The room l stayed in had a partial view of the river and the Chilli Club restaurant, where a colleague and I ate in the evening (think Wagamama’s but with higher prices but more relaxed). My colleagues room was on the other side of the hotel and he did mention that freight trains rumbling over the bridge woke him during the night. On my side of the hotel I didn’t hear a thing!
Breakfast was very good, with plenty of choice of cereals, fruit, breads, cheeses, meats, etc.
My only quibble is that for a modern hotel the room did not have a USB socket for charging phones, tablets, and the like. Or if it did I couldn’t find it.

A very modern, beautifully located place to stay

This is a great choice for anyone that wants to explore this magnificent Hanseatic City with its beautiful historic buildings, churches and monuments. The hotel overlooks the Weser River and it is an easy walk by the water on the \"Schlachte\" to get to the \"Altstadt\". The hotel offers a delicious breakfast buffet, parking is very convenient at minimal cost, and it is one of the few hotels that has an exercise room--too bad the sauna was out of order.

A friend and I stay at the Steigenberger Hotel, it’s an absolute beauty with great views and very clean.

The only downside was that they charge you extra to bring your food and drinks up. I have never heard of this and trust me I have stayed at many hotels.

Another thing I picked up on was not being able to do a late check out. The hotel wasn’t busy and it was a Sunday, a couple of hours in the room wouldn’t do any damage.

Very basic hotel. Nice new build, but they were clearly doing renovations when we were there which meant drilling and banging nearly every day. There was nobody to help with bags on arrival. The room was fine, but the daily housekeeping didn't seem to be very thorough and there was nothing in the minibar.
Bar was ok but for most nights had football on loudly, so you have to like that if you want to drink there. Room service food was not good. Would not stay there again.

Nice new hotel with tasteful decor and decent spa. Breakfast good. Beds good but room was somewhat noisy due to poor sound insulation and location of hotel near a main railway line. No tea making facilities in the room and only milk powder for the coffee. Other than that we would stay again as overall we experienced was a pleasant stay.

The hotel was really nice. We were stopping off in bremen to go to the old town and see the Bremen town musicians. It is a perfect distance away from the old town, allowing for a nice 15-20 minute walk there and back. My only complaint would be breakfast, if one wishes to reserve it, cost €16 a person.

Great Hotel!

I was looking for a hotel in Bremen that was close to downtown and still affordable. I showed up after my transatlantic flight and I was amazing by how nice the Steigenberger was. It's a great looking hotel inside and out with top notch service. The tram stop was right outside the hotel and it took me right downtown or I could walk the river to the beer gardens.

As a business traveler looking for cleanliness, comfort, and convenience, this hotel will give you 90% of what you expect. What's missing are: iron and ironing board in room, bathroom amenities. Air conditioning does not do a sufficient job of cooling. The rooms are very quiet however don't open a window because the railroad line next to the hotel will keep you up if you are after an open window. For two travelers in a room you can pull apart the beds just realize that the room is about the size of a king size bed so don't expect the rooms to be as large as you might expect for other 4 star hotels.

Internet not working. ..told me to use pay option...did that. still no good...I can't help you!...could have offered me free breakfast or something by way of compensation because at 20 euro I wasn't buying breakfast (yes TWENTY , :-0)..room price was ok special offer. .but when this gets up and running at full price it's way too much for a hotel at the edge of town with small rooms

The hotel was brand new, and everything was clean and well-maintained. The room was spacious and comfortable. The shower was a shower room and had excellent water pressure. The staff available at check-in were friendly and quickly processed the room. The woman who helped me at checkout was less friendly and acted as though I were an annoyance when I asked basic questions, such as where do I pay for parking and how do I get to a tram stop. I was not even offered a map, like the other patrons at the counter at the same time.

new hotel with some teething problems

Upon arrival found the air conditioning was not working, apart from that the room was excellent, clean and spacious. the hotel had only been open for 3 days. The car park is about 50 metres away and reasonably priced. We told reception and left to visit the town centre, when we returned the problem had not been resolved. However the reception staff and housekeeping staff were excellent. Reception were able to find a solution to our problem and were very helpful.
I think the problem with the aircon was probably a software issue as other rooms were affected. I felt a bit sorry for the reception staff having to deal with so many issues.

Die Lage des Hotels ist wirklich super – besonders der Ausblick in Richtung Weser hat mich begeistert. Ich hatte mit etwas Glück ein Eckzimmer bekommen, von dem aus ich den Fluss von zwei Seiten sehen konnte – das war wirklich traumhaft schön und ein echtes Highlight meines Aufenthalts.

Die Anbindung an den Hauptbahnhof ist sehr praktisch: Mit der Straßenbahn ist man schnell dort, und auch zu Fuß ist es machbar, auch wenn der Weg etwas Zeit in Anspruch nimmt. Die Innenstadt ist ebenfalls gut erreichbar.

Das Zimmer war sauber und das Bett sehr bequem – alles in allem also ein angenehmer Aufenthalt. Einen kleinen Abzug gibt es allerdings beim Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis: Die Preise für Übernachtung und Frühstück sind meiner Meinung nach etwas zu hoch im Vergleich zur gebotenen Leistung.

Trotzdem insgesamt ein schönes Hotel mit tollem Ausblick und guter Lage!

Der Aufenthalt war insgesamt sehr angenehm und entspannt.
Das Zimmer war gut ausgestattet und es hat an nichts gefehlt. Ein kleiner Verbesserungspunkt wäre die Sauberkeit.
Die Betreuung durch das Tagungspersonal war in Ordnung. Freundlich, wenn auch nicht besonders aufmerksam.
Etwas herausfordernd war der Check-out.
Zu diesem Zeitpunkt war nur eine Person an der Rezeption, was bei einer gleichzeitig anreisenden großen Reisegruppe leider zu längeren Wartezeiten für andere Gäste geführt hat.

Wird dem Namen Steifenberger nicht gerecht!

Das Hotel liegt gut, um das Zentrum zu erreicjen und hat gute Parkmöglichkeiten. Die Zimmer sind modern. Ansprechend. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut. Fas Personal ist für seine Freundlichkeit zu loben. Und doch würde ich das Hotel nicht emüfehlen, denn: Bei der Anreise waren unsere 2 Zimmer nicht zur Checkin-Zeit um 14.00 Uhr fertig, sondern erst deutlich nach 15.00 Uhr - schade, wenn uns auch als Entschädigung ein Freigetränk in der Bar serviert wurde. In einem Zimmer war der Safe 4 Tage nicht zu nutzen, trotz mehrmaligem Nachhaken. Statt Abhilfe gab's eine Tafe Schokolade. Handtücher gab\"s immer zu wenig.
Als das Duschgel leer war, war nach dem Nachfragen in 4 unterschiedlichen Amenitirs überall nur noch Duschgel. Wegen Systwmupdate sollte es ab 20.00 Uhr keine Rechnung mehr geben; uns wurde in der Bar schon um 17.30 abkassiert und das passierte am Nachbartisch deb Herrschaften mitten im Essen. Man könnte dagen: Alles Kleinigkeiten, aber von Steigenberger erwarte ich mehr!

Das Hotel überzeugt immer wieder durch die Lage direkt an der Weser, die moderne Einrichtung sowie große Zimmer mit Aussicht auf das Wasser.
Auch das Frühstück ist sehr umfangreich und qualitativ sehr gut.

Die Innenstadt ist fußläufig zu erreichen, es ist aber auch gleich in der Nähe eine Bahnstation.
Direkt neben dem Hotel ist ein Parkhaus, das mit 10 €/24 Std. auch akzeptabel ist. Ab 18 Uhr und bis 8 Uhr Morgens sowie am WE ab Samstags 12 Uhr kann man allerdings auch kostenfrei in der Zufahrtsstraße parken.

Das Hotel ist auf jeden Fall weiter zu empfehlen, insbesondere für Weihnachtsmarktbesuche oder ähnliche Veranstaltungen an der Weser oder Innenstadt
