The location is prime, I found some of the staff not very hospitality, some said good morning back some did not, the hotel was safe but I felt quite unsafe outside as I saw some stuff I would not want to mention on a review, I know that's not the hotels fault, but if you was a solo traveller I could see it being intimidating, I found ordering breakfast a night before is bad

Nice, basic hotel in the center of the old city of Bremen close to \"all attractions\". Friendly staff, breakfast is available, and there is a quiet bar next to the lobby but within the hotel! Price is right !!

A little difficult to find as further away than I thought from the centre. Reception staff were helpful.

Lovely hotel right on the tram line. It’s walkable and is also by public transport - it had the obscure space theme but I quite like it and the rooms are big enough with the amenities needed. Even a hair dryer which was good. Would recommend for location, solo, couple to family travel and try e staff o the desk were super friendly too :)

Not quite what i expected

Hotel is reasonably situated about 10 minutes walk from the old town square. Also handy for the bus and trams which stop outside. Staff were pleasant and helpful. My room was on the smallish side with not much room for storage of clothing. On the plus side, there were plenty of plug sockets. I would describe the room as basic. My quibble was the size of the bathroom. I have never seen such a small bathroom. There was absolutely no room to dry yourself after stepping out of the shower. Breakfast was decent but be aware that there is no hot food as this was a continental style breakfast. All in all. I didn't mind the hotel as i was out most of the time but i have stayed what i'd class as better for the same price or cheaper.

Our room was very small. It had interesting 'futuristic' decor that made it look like a spaceship; random vinyl sticker numerals on walls, abstract fittings, galaxy patterns on the carpet and blue LED panels on walls. The queen bed was OK to sleep in and linen was clean. There was however very little usable space for luggage, likely due to that spaceship theme and decision to make bespoke abstract shelving. The bathroom was extremely tiny—impossible for two to use at the same time—and it was especially awkward to use the toilet without sitting or standing at an angle. The shower leaked a lot while in use so lots of water got on the floor. Hotel buffet breakfast was cheap €10 each but didn't have a huge selection.

Value for money was 'out of this world'

The hotel has a space theme throughout which I was not expecting at all but was really cool and felt really unique! Very clearly eco-sensitive which is nice.

My only complaint about the hotel was that the bathroom was very small - this meant that, as a bigger person, I could barely fit between the sink and the wall to get to the toilet and left me feeling quite self-conscious during my stay.

Despite this, I would recommend the hotel to anyone as it was really good value for money!

Good price, good comfort, clean except for some spots on the carpet. It was nice to be able to park in a covered garage but drive out was sooo steep we weren’t sure we’d make it out, took some rubber off the tires. And the drive was on a turn so you couldn’t get momentum.
Appreciated the air conditioner.

Problem with parking, you can´t park bigger car there, it won´t fit. You have use some parking house nearby, which isn´t far ... but is more expensive.
Rooms are tiny, but clecerly designed, so nothing is missing. And you are 10 minutes walk from city square.

The space theme is a bit odd and makes everything look a bit dated. The room we stayed in was quite small and the bathroom cramped. The best thing about this hotel is its central location. Breakfast was ok.

Very clean, good value for money, very good breakfast buffet, super close to city centre (10 minute walk). It's going through a chamge in ownership and therefore didn't have a bar. Also the rooms need an upgrade, however room was comfortable and very clean. We were very happy with our stay.

Clean and spacious room but tiny bathroom. Shower water pressure and temperature were excellent however the shower doors leaked water all over the bathroom floor. Mattress was very firm but pillows were good. A bit of road noise from the cars and trams outside. The space theming is very cute.

This hotel Ibis should be taken off hotels.com!

When I arrived at the hotel they were several homeless people around the front and back as well as people doing drugs! It is not in a good area and I would not recommend. I felt unsafe and went to another hotel. I tried to get a credit or refund and the hotel refused. Worst experience I’ve had with a booking!!

It was a good hotel but more for a long weekend and not necessarily longer than that. Reason being is you have to be creative to find places to put your clothes. Staff was great. The breakfast could use more options but what they had was great and the food staff was amazing. I actually got a normal sized bathroom and it was great. Overall the place was pleasing.

Design lacking Function

Older Hotel \"improved\" with a lot of design elements. Beds are extremely narrow and short. Only little room between sink and wall, one has to open the bathroom door in order to lean over the sink when rinsing teeth. I am 5 ft 9, underweight.

My kids (and I) loved this place! The space theme was super fun (but not over done if you aren't into themes), the staff was friendly and it is walkable to Old Town Bremen and th waterfront biergarten area. We found it an excellent value for what you get. My son loved the automatic pancake maker machine in the breakfastroom.

Cant get a better hotel with location for the price. Just about 10 mins walk to city centre and not a bad walk with lots of shops around. Room & Hotel is very modern with a fresh and unique look which is worth the money. Also a good breakfast served in morning and free Cofee/tea available all day in reception area.

Bathroom is really small even when compared to other IBIS hotels. But can ignore it as you dont spend much time in bathroom :-)
unfortunately for us the Wifi didnt work in our floor for our stay. The hotel staff were kind to try to restart the wifi and contact IT but it didnt work at all. Was working on other part of the hotel, so might be just pure luck.

Excellent location close to the Old Town

We found this hotel very convenient for exploring the old Town and the nearby shops. The staff were friendly and efficient and the décor was futuristic and very unusual. I understand that every room is supposed to be different, so maybe some rooms have less cramped toilet facilities than ours. Fortunately, we are only small to medium size, but a large person would have real difficulties in using that toilet. Otherwise, I would describe it as excellent

Comfortable room. Very quiet(my room faced the rear side of the hotel building). Bus stop is right opposite hotel. Walkable to most places sites in Bremen. But to go to the Bremen train station, if you have considerable luggage, you have to take a bus. I highly recommend this hotel. I stayed for just one night in Aug 2014. I walked back around 11:30 pm fro Schlachte. Still it was very safe.

Nice hotel adjacent to sights

The hotel isn't close to the central train station -- maybe a 15 minute walk -- but it is very close to the heart of the old town (Rathaus, town square, two statues). Staff was very friendly. Wifi was free in room and in the lobby. For some reason I go the handicapped room. It had a single bed and a shower that was basically part of the bathroom. The floor in the bathroom had black spots on it which was kinda yuck but was clean and comfortable other than that. I would stay there again.

A painless stay, no fuss, good & clean.
Only drawback: the underground carpark has very narrow parking spaces with projecting metal dividers. We scratched our car quite badly squeezing into the last available slot

IBIS Bremen - brilliant!

While yes, this is a 3 star hotel, I'm rating it 5 out of 5 for a 3 star hotel! Location was fantastic - just a 10 minute walk to the old city through the main shopping area in Bremen. It was clean, comfortable and the staff were extremely friendly! With IBIS you know what you're getting and while the room was a little small for two of us, it's not something I'd dock marks for! Stay here!

Tiefgarage: Einfahrt und Steigung ziemlich eng um die Kurve. Gong aber. Langsam fahren.
Hochfahren mit Frontantrieb mit etwas Schwung, sonst steht man zwischendurch zu steil und die Antriebsachse hat zu wenig Grip.
Die Mitarbeiter helfen aber auch gerne.

Das Ausfahren aus der Tiefgarage ist nicht ganz einfach. Sehr steil und eng.
Vor dem Haus ist eine Straßenbahnhaltestelle. Praktisch, aber natürlich nicht leise.

Das Zimmer war sauber und die Matratzen deutlich besser als erwartet. Zimmer ist nicht groß, aber für eine Übernachtung vollkommen ausreichend. Einzig der Stauraum für Kleidung ist recht wenig, wenn man länger als eine Nacht bleiben sollte.

Was eine Katastrophe ist, ist die Tiefgarage... Wir sind nur mit qualmenden Reifen und Vollgas die Rampe wieder hoch gekommen.

Wir hatten ein Familienzimmer. Es war sauber und zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Das Frühstück war vollkommen in Ordnung für den Preis. Das Hotel ist gut gelegen für einen Weihnachtsmarktbesuch ( bis zur Schlachte 5 Minuten Fußweg, zum Rathausplatz 10 Minuten Fußweg).

Der Aufenthalt im Hotel war leider nicht so angenehm, wie ich es mir erhofft hatte. Bereits beim Check-in war die Rezeptionistin sehr unfreundlich und wenig hilfsbereit, was einen schlechten ersten Eindruck hinterließ.

Im Zimmer gab es keine Heizung. Stattdessen war nur ein Klimaanlagen-Splitgerät an der Wand vorhanden, das nach der Benutzung die ganze Nacht über knackende Geräusche machte. Zusätzlich war die Lüftung in der Toilette extrem laut und lief ununterbrochen, wodurch der Raum sehr kalt wurde. Ein vorübergehend bereitgestellter Heizstrahler half kaum, da er lediglich verstaubte, warme Luft verteilte.

Für den gebotenen Service und den Preis finde ich das Hotel leider deutlich überteuert.

Positiv hervorheben möchte ich das Frühstück, das gut war und eine solide Standardauswahl bot.

Wir waren für eine Nacht im Hotel. Leider ist das Hotel sehr hellhörig. Wir haben den Hotelbesucher von darunter schnarchen gehört und jede Bewegung und Unterhaltung auf dem Gang und in den Nebenzimmern mitbekommen.

Ansonsten war das Hotel sauber und in Ordnung.
Wir würden auf jeden Fall Ohrenstöpsel empfehlen!

Wir haben für eine Übernachtung in dem Hotel gebucht. Wir hatten uns erbeten in den obersten Stock nach hinten raus zu wohnen und es wurde uns auch so reserviert. Die Einrichtung ist einfach aber sauber, ordentlich und gut für die Übernachtung geeignet. Die Betten sind hart, aber das ist bekanntlich Geschmackssache. An der Rezeption ließ man uns lange stehen, weil die Kaffeemaschine wichtiger war. Das Personal ist geschäftsmäßig freundlich.

Hotel wird umgebaut, kein Frühstück verfügbar. Zimmer klein und ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen. Bin viel unterwegs und bin aus Düsseldorf/ Berlin/ Hamburg einen anderen Standart zu diesem Preis gewohnt. Die Lage war allerdings Super.
