This facility was very well built many years ago but is so so maintained. Everything is the bare minimum in terms of linens and bedding. The furniture in room and around the pool are cheap and flimsy. Staff is underwhelming. On the other hand, it has very nice beach frontage and a very large pool.

I booked 2 rooms for me my brother and his friend, my brother friend couldn’t stay in his room because was very strong smell coming from the bathroom like you do your stuff on the floor, the manager said he doesn’t smell nothing, the kid just left and rent air bnb, we left 1 day earlier, I spend money to have fun no to suffer, I am asking refund just for the rooms not suffering driving all day back and for, I do all my reservations with Expedia. Don’t let me down now,.!

Little oasis

What a gorgeous hotel! The pool was so perfect and clean and the food service was delicious. The rooms were so comfy and cozy and air conditioned!! I do wish I had more than a sheet to cover up with (unless I missed it). It’s right on the beach with no crowds whatsoever and the hotel is surrounded by lush greenery. And just 10min from limon airport. Highly recommend

What a great surprise! Orbitz had to relocation us because the first hotel had a problem with our reservation. The hotel was right in the jungle with access to the beach a few feet away. Very clean and comfortable property without the craziness of Limon or Puerto Viejo in Costa Rica. Very Private and safe. Also, Julian and Javier (hotel staff) were very welcoming.

The hotel is an older hotel but extremely charming. It has a great pool and is right on the beach. The staff were excellent and friendly. We ate a great meal in the restaurant. Definitely would recommend this hotel.

Property is beautiful but ocean wasnt friendly to swim in. The pool is nice with a waterfall. Breakfast was basic and one morning weiners were offered as the only meat option. Next morning only eggs bun and juice. We left a day early due to all the rain and we stayed end of Jan beginning of feb (dry season).

Overall a great out of the way place right on the ocean, if you like crashing waves and long beaches even better. You need a car to take advantage of the rural location and the nice drive down the coast. The staff were good with some English. The down side to my room which was very clean and spacious for Costa Rica was, they have taken out the fridge, microwave and no coffee pot! The restaurant there does have good food but after breakfast you are paying.

Was just far enough south of Limon to be convenient and yet secluded. Nice room and pool and also right on the beach. Food was good and entire staff was wonderfull. Would definitely recomend. Only drawback will only affect drone pilots who want airborn videos and pictures. Too close to airport for my DJI mini pro3. Restricted, it would not even launch.

We loved the old world charm of the hotel. The beds were comfortable. The colourful tile in the bathroom and kitchen is very Costa Rican. The staff were excellent! So kind and attentive. We had two dinners and two breakfasts and enjoyed them all. The mature plants and palms on the property were incredible and the pool was large and clean. No complaints at all. Wish we could have stayed longer.

This was an excellent hotel to stay at. We enjoyed the room and easy access to the beach. Breakfast was included and was fantastic each morning. Staff were very friendly and always available to assist. We loved spending time with the live in pup while we were there. Will be back soon!

Dream vacation at Wesfalia Limon.

Everything at Wesfalia was perfect! Food delicious, rooms are big, great beds. Staff super friendly, and always ready to help.

Relaxing Stay

Nice place with great staff. Was glad to be a bit out of Limon with a great home base for sight seeing. Enjoyed the peacefulness and had a good stay. We also enjoyed easy fresh cooked dinners at the end of the day.

The hotel is located conveniently close to the airport, away from the hustle, bustle and traffic of Limon. There is a large, secure parking lot. The reception and wait staff are polite, friendly and fun. Breakfasts are good. The hotel is located on the beach but also has a lovely pool. Rooms are large, good wifi and TV but no other amenities. No fridge, no coffee maker nor kettle, No toiletries in the bathroom.

We’ve stayed here before pandemic, ocean view suite used to have refrigerator, small tv in second bedroom, and there was no muggy smell.

Stayed same suite for this one day trip, as you walked in to room the smell was horrible, bedroom sheets, covers and towels had same smell, no refrigerator, no second tv for second bedroom. Pool looks clean but once inside all around top ring you can see signs of mold, slimy and obviously looks as bacteria building up. Beach area not clean, no chairs, everything closes by 7pm. Property has a for sale sign so looks as if they are getting maybe rid of everything to sell property.

Overall was not happy this time.

Perfect overnite near the airport

We had a wonderful stay. Unfortunately it was only one night as we were traveling the next morning from Limon airport. The place was beautiful, relaxing and clean. The staff is super friendly and accommodating.
The pool was clean and refreshing and the beach is just steps away.

I was so looking forward to go to Limon but I was disappointed with the service at this hotel.
Hotel needs a full on upgrade.
I got in later than the check in and even though the hotel had just a hand full of guests they were not prepared. Got a nice room but the door was faulty would not close or open. It took 3 hours for the handyman to decide that he cannot fix it. I was moved to another room. About the breakfast it was terrible. Don’t eat it. I got out of there so fast.

Great hospitality!

The owner is incredibly sweet and helpful. She even gave me a beach mat knowing I was headed towards Cahuita. Food was really good, both breakfast and dinner. You can't beat being right there against the waves.
