Outside of a city centre, beside Universum Bremen
We checked in for two nights including breakfast. Paid parking 11 euros per day.
Our room was small but ok. Main wall had some unprofessional painting done - probably to cover a leakage on the wall. There was a mini fridge, a coffee machine, small TV. A bathroom had a bath.
Restaurant/dining area is too small, if you come for a drink in the evening during a dinner buffet hours, there are only three small tables available if you do not have buffet dinner.
Breakfast was average - selection of cheeses, ham and salami, fruit, vegetables, eggs - scrambled and boiled, sausages, bacon, only tea and coffee available (no cappuchino), variety of breads and rolls. Basic but sufficient.
As we stayed for two nights only, we did not require cleaning of our room. For that we got two vouchers to spent in a bar/restaurant - 5 euro and 10% off. Unfortunatelly, vouchers for our first bill of beverages and food it was not accepted in a bar or a restaurant first night. Neither it was accepted when we checked out and had our second bill put on our room number. So getting these vouchers is quite pointeless if you cannot use them.
Hotel is outside of a city centre but 15 mins walk to a nearest tram no. 6 that takes you in 25 mins to Bremen central train station.
As mentioned, parking is paid, not free.

Nice green surroundings. Tram into city a short walk. Large but rather bland room. Comfortable but little character. Shower over bath - not good for people with accessibility issues. Staff efficient and friendly. Restaurant was of a good standard, if a little pricey. Overall a good stay.

There was no air con, and being on the first floor with cars beneath our window for intruders to use to gain access, we did not feel safe leaving our window open. As a result, it was swelteringly hot in our room through the night, so we hardly slept either night.

I got my extra bed made up before arriving that is really nice. Excellent breakfast and easy parking. Very difficult to bring the bags from the parking to the room. No AC. Good beds.

Great Hotel don’t order the PHO.
Overall experience was good the bad could be a lot better for people that have back problems. Scrappin very accommodating. I think that the attempt to create an international menu for the restaurant was disappointing. Probably should’ve stayed to a German menu or concentrated on a regional cuisine and had it been more authentic. Do not order the PHO bad very bad it was like hey so are you sauce soup with hunks of tough meat.

Lovely hotel with good food and great staff
The hotel was spotlessly clean, the food was good and the service was excellent. The hotel is very conveniently located for the university and for Universum but apart from that, there is not much else around - at least nothing that I could see but I confess I didn't walk around too far as I was just going to the university.

We stayed for one night at the Atlantic Hotel Universum. From the car park the outside of the Hotel looked a bit austere and utilitarian but this all changed when entering the foyer. Bright, modern and, at the same time, welcoming. The room was large and the bathroom excellent. Everything was clean and contemporary. The bed was very comfortable. Excellent hotel!

Wenn die Zimmertür wegen Aufbruchs nur mit der Innenverriegelung zugehalten werden kann, die Türgriffe zum Badezimmer lose sind und der Fahrstuhl unerklärlicherweise Gefrierschranktemperaturen hat, dann ist das eines Eigentümers, der zu den größten deutschen Bauunternehmern gehört, nicht würdig.

Very nice, spacious room with lovely high ceilings. The division between the bathroom and toilet seems impractical. We needed hangers for the towels and other items.

Wir haben nur eine Nacht von Sonnabend auf Sonntag kurzfristig gebucht. Leider fand an dem Abend eine Hochzeitsfeier in dem Hotel statt, welche bis morgens um 4 Uhr andauerte. Die Musik, vornehmlich die Bässe waren so intensiv, man spürte sie mehr als dass man sie hörte, dass wir erst nach 4 Uhr morgens einschlafen konnten.

Wir hatten ein Doppelzimmer m. Zustellbett (für unser Enkelkind) gebucht und empfanden das Zimmer aufgrund dessen doch recht beengt. Zu Zweit ist die Größe und Ausstattung des Zimmers aber ok.
Positiv vermerkt ist die Gratisflasche Wasser bei Anreise und die Möglichkeit zur Entnahme eines freien Getränkes aus der Minibar je Gast und Übernachtung!

A specific staff member kicked me out of the hotel after I had prolonged the stay and already had paid it by even dissmissal forever even if I had done nothing wrong or agianst he policies of the hotel. Seems that this staff member is part of the guerillia army against human rights and the Law of the Federal Republic of Germany torturing me since a couple of years and getting each month heavier with their violations against me trying to badger me whenever they get lucky to do so.

Schönes Hotel in ruhiger Lage mit guter Anbindung zur City, alle 10min fuhr die Straßenbahn. Essen war sehr lecker abends und auch morgens gab es alles was das Herz begehrte. Der Service war sehr freundlich und immer für einen Spaß zu haben. Die Zimmer waren recht einfach und die Bäder leider nicht auf dem neuesten Stand, aber sauber.

Die Sauberkeit entspricht das eines 4 Sterne Hotels. Ein Teil (die Betonung liegt auf 'ein Teil' - nicht 'alle') des Personals im Restaurant waren leider zu oft belehrend, arrogant, tollpatschig und unflexibel. Leider auch nicht in der Lage sich bei Gästen für Fehler zu entschuldigen (Handy wird z.B. vom Tisch gefegt, Ober zuckt mit den Achseln). Im Gegenteil, die Gäste wurden eher noch belächelt.

Sehr schönes Hotel mit nettem Personal. Das Frühstücksbuffet war reichhaltig und abwechslungsreich. Auch Abends kann man hervorragend essen. Die Lage direkt am Bürgerpark ist gerade für Hundebesitzer spitze. Apropos, 16 Euro pro Nacht für den Hund ist ganz schön heftig. Das ist aber auch das einzig negative an diesem Hotel. Sehr zu empfehlen.
