The room was clean. There was no issue with the hotel or the amenities or the staff. But I did wake up to blood smears on the sheets and then investigating further, popped a large black thing which is full of blood. Upon my research found they were bedbugs.

I was also disappointed at the lack of info in room to obtain food. I though telling people of local area options (other than 7elevennext door) would have been helpful. The location of the property is quite good (about 30 minutes to Sydney CBD via public transport and 20 minutes drive). The bathroom in the room looks renovated and clean. However, the lack of soundproofing in the room (floor-to-ceiling single-glazed window next to the room door) coupled with the enclosed shared space where guests access their rooms, resulted in sounds being echoed and reverberated throughout the entire hall and into the rooms. There is also limited to no dining options in the vicinity of the property.

This visit unfortunately was below par compared to previous stays. Initially given an inadequate and not-as-advertised room. In new (appropriate) room, air con was on a timer (which i hadn’t set) and came on during the night, making a cool night even colder.

The car park exit was blocked by a linen delivery truck and the reception staff had to let us exit from the entrance. Turning around in the one-way car park was dangerous. The hotel management could have arranged a cart for the linen delivery staff so they can do their job without blocking the customers' traffic. The delivery man was extremely rude as well.
