We would highly recommend staying here with Micheál. It’s a lovely countryside property with an adorable friendly black cat outdoors. About 15 minutes from Ballycastle but everything in the region felt very accessible.
He was prompt on our check in at 4pm, showed us our room and made some suggestions for our trip - his top 2 suggestions ended up being our favourites of the trip! (Much better than the causeway.)
Our breakfast was lovely - fried egg, back bacon, sausage, tomato, beans, and toast with spreads. Tea and coffee and juice. There were cereals if you wanted. Very filling and delicious!
He was also very gracious when we accidentally left without paying and sorted it all out over email easily.
We would certainly stay here again!

The owners are great and welcoming. They have lots of suggestions on dinning, pubs and nearby attractions. Even gave advice on the route to take to get there (more scenic). The room was large and beautiful with a large private bathroom. We had a full breakfast every morning. This is a true bed and breakfast. We even learned some Irish words.

We stayed at this property for two nights as it is very convenient to all of the north and east coast attractions like Giants Causeway, Carrick-a-rede bridge, Friary, Dunluce and Kinmare Castles, and if you're a GOT fan, the lost village of Galboly and Dark Hedges were both close by as well. Our room was clean and tidy and had a double and a twin bed so would be good for a small family. Michael was very welcoming and gracious host and made several great recommendations for sights and local restaurants. The views from the property were amazing and its very quiet. It is not walkable for restaurants but they are a close drive of 10-12 minutes - we really enjoyed the Salthouse and O'Connors pub. A great stay and would book there again in future.

Teach an Cheoil was an amazing stay and experience. Our hosts were warm and welcoming and we were even invited to attend an Irish Music Trad Trail (pub hopping & music) in Ballycastle with the hosts who play several Irish instruments, teach Irish music and Irish language. They are the kind of people who change the world by bringing back and continuing Irish traditions. Teach an Cheoil is a serene beautiful place with a spacious room, large bathroom, great shower, and view of surrounding emerald fields full of sheep grazing. The sunsets over the ocean were gorgeous too! Breakfasts were home cooked and delicious. We had such a great experience at Teach an Cheoil. We will definitely be back but will stay longer next time! The accomodation felt absolutely nothing like the usual hotel accomodation (impersonal). It was set in beautiful surroundings and was a solely family run establishment. The said family were friendly and extremely helpful and I felt more like I was staying with my own family, only better! Clean but not comfy
Breakfast was poor with the only cereal being Rice Krispies and a choice of strawberry or apricot jam. In the fruit bowl there was one banana, one apple and two satsumas. The bedroom was cold and we had to ask for the heating to be put on and we also had to ask for some milk. There was only one hard backed chair so watching TV was from the bed and there was no communal lounge. On the positive side, the propietor was very welcoming and friendly.

The host very nice and helpful but it was like staying at a friend house instead of a well run B&B. Grand father clock kept me up all night. Had to use a portable heater. I don't know why anyone else was impressed.

Everything was perfect, we hadn't been at a bed and breakfast we would have missed the bay which is just over the hill. Rooms were clean well-equipped. The beds were as good as any we slept in Ireland, but they could use new mattresses. It's in a great spot to launch your adventures in Northern Ireland.

The innkeeper is a musician, poet, and extremely pleasant person. As we ate breakfast, we chatted with him about art, music, and suggestions for our vacation. This was our first night in a B&B in this Ireland vacation, and it was one of the best.

I believe they had music students coming and going during that time, which was no bother except parking in front of the home was a bit tight when we returned from Ballycastle. Out of the way and beautiful
My two nights here were terrific. The room was spotless and I really appreciated the little extras like water, coffee and tea on the bedside table. I read the website and took my hosts up on a banjo lesson too. There was indeed music in the house. A good spot from which to explore the coast and great advice from hosts about what to see that isn't on most tourist guides. Peaceful and fun.
