Will stay again - loved it

If you're ever in the north of Northern Ireland, this is the place to stay at.

The service was wonderful and welcoming. The accommodation was excellent. At first the lights didn't work, they came straight over and fixed the issue (circuit tripped). The rooms were clean, beds really comfortable and to top it off, the bar/restaurant served incredible food.

The staff were so helpful and friendly. Everything was cooked really well, and priced just right. We look forward to be staying here again when back in Northern Ireland.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were big. Beds comfortable, food was very good with generous portions.

Should be a great place but, when the owners know of a serious plumbing problem, and still book guest! Room and bath were great, except the shower was completely clogged and does not drain
Therefore shower last 20 seconds then overflows! Talking with staff, they know this and explain that no repairs will be made until after the season! They rent a defective room, and still take your money.....

Stay was fantastic apart from 1 Bar Man!! Who needs a Crash Course on Customer Service ASAP! Paid for several Premium Vodkas for them to be served in a 1/2pt Un dried glass!!!! When asked could we please change glasses were told “Lucky you got that one”!!!

It is located conveniently downtown. The building is beautiful inside and outside. Very interesting decor. Large room and large bathroom. Good restaurant with delicious offerings. Very clean. Staff was very helpful.

Double bed in single room!

Arrived at accommodation to find we had been given a double bed in a single room. There was 6 inches at one side of the bed to get out of, next to the sliding door for the compact bathroom. Once sat on the toilet, burnt arm on heated towel rail. No room to dry after taking shower.
Very tasteful decor- but too small. Outside of window was the extractor for the kitchen, when mentioned this to staff, were told it went off at 9pm. Wasn’t told it came on at 7am!
Asked for another room, but only had a double bed in a family room with bunk beds.
We were offered a move for the next day, but change of staff meant we weren’t moved, by then we had given up.
Our first night in the bar was chaotic, as the local youth hostel had its night out, the second night we were the only couple in the bar.
The service from the very young staff was excellent, the food was good, but to charge £90 for room only was a bit much, we were offered free breakfast to compensate for inconvenience of small room.
Just to add insult, we were shown the room which the previous nights staff had arranged for us, but we weren’t informed about, it was large and comfortable.
Nice pub for Giants Causeway, but rooms overpriced.

Food was fabulous !! Rooms were lovely and spotless.
A little gem of a place, located a stones throw away was Ballintoy Harbour probably one of the most beautiful places to visit with breath taking scenery.
Definitely 10 out of 10 😬

Unfortunately the toilet roll holder fell off the wall as soon as we got there and the water took ages draining away meaning that it flooded and you had to have a very quick shower.
Otherwise very friendly staff and comfortable beds.

Spotlessly clean, lovely modern room, Good breakfast apart from the porridge which was awful. Also the people who work there don’t know much about the local attractions. When we arrived we asked what time the ropebridge closed and they told us 5pm. When we went the following day we realised it was open till 7.30pm and consequently we missed the opportunity the previous day which was annoying. Would recommend this b and b although it is on the expensive side.

Beautiful & remote area. The Fullerton Arms is an older pub-hotel with great food and nice people. Crowded but accessible parking in the back off the street. A real GOT magnet because they have a room that is outfitted with the throne and other memorabilia for the GOT lover's delight. We, of course, sat in the throne and wore the garments for a pic! The bar door has a carved dragon. No cell coverage and the wi-fi was spotty or unavailable at times, however.

Unpretentious pub but stylish and immaculately presented rooms. Only drawback was no phone signal and WiFi only worked downstairs. However, staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and we had a lovely meal there in the evening.

Nice quaint Inn with rooms above. No front desk so check in with the bartender. Room was comfortable but wasnt entirely sure how to control heat in room initially. We figured it out but it appears theres no staff at night as the boiler shutoff for a time during the night so we awoke to a cold room.

My favorite inn/hotel in all of Ireland! My first time staying in an actual inn and it was so fun and very close to giant’s causeway and the rope bridge. It has a Game of Thrones themed door and room. The food was INCREDIBLE!!!!! Only downside is there is no lift/elevator. But everything else made up for it.

Very pleasantly surprised about how clean and tidy rooms where, quite obvious staff are proud of there hotel. Good food, excellent bar, quality breakfast and friendly welcoming staff. Area was beautiful with amazing views. Very close to Giants Causeway and Dark Forest.
Fullerton Arms is a nice easy drive from Larne or Belfast along Causeway coast road. One word of advice,don't be in any hurry enjoy the scenery as you will have a lovely stay at the Arms.

Comfortable accommodation close to Giants Causeway

Really enjoyed our stay here-family room was so spacious-3 single beds and a double -beds had white bed linen and were so comfortable. Had food in the bar, really good and breakfast was great also. Lots of Game of Thrones memorabilia here as it's close to Ballintoy harbour where some scenes were filmed. Staff were friendly and helpful so all round good experuence here!

Good location. Must see Harbour and also rope bridge close by. Very near Giant’s Causeway

Hotel in great position. Very helpful and friendly staff. The food was superb with very large helpings. The only complaint was that they had crammed two large double beds into the room both having to be pushed up against the wall.

Basic place to stay for a night or two...

So, this place was very comfortable to sleep in, and the breakfast, while basic, was quite tasty. However, it is old, it is a bit run down, it is very basic, and there is no wifi in the rooms, and it seemed we were in a dead zone signal-wise with our mobiles, so we were really cut off. Not the end of the world, but not great either.

Try the seafood it is amazing

Newly refurbished to an excellent standard. Though view from our room was of bins. Handy blind though to hide the view. Food in the pub of a very good standard. Speciality muscles which were amazing. Welcome not very good but was extremely busy with Sunday lunch. Everyone else we saw book in were shown to their rooms we were just pointed in the right direction. Had booked on your site and said including breakfast but this was questioned when we sat down to breakfast on first day,but said they would 'honour ' it made to feel a little uncomfortable about it. WiFi does not work but you are on holiday so quite nice not to be in contact. Location great to explore this area. Would stay again.

The rooms were just re-done in April 2018 so everything was in excellent condition. The things to be aware of are that there is no elevator so bags must be carried upstairs. Also, the rooms are above a pub so there will be some noise. The pub food was excellent.

Ideal for sight seeing, - and would recommend.
Note, it’s at Ballsntoy and not Ballycastle as per the address. Mind you, - go via the coast road from Ballycastle. Carrick-a-Rede first (early) then Causeway. Stop over from Belfast. Good food, hospitable and a very nice room. Also Ballantoy harbour and beach a few minutes away which should be seen. A scene of pulchritude......

The Fullerton Arms was a wonderful find! We are also huge Game of Throne fans so when we say the GOT room with its 'iron throne' and show paraphernalia was a wonderful surprise. The room was clean and spacious. The staff couldn't be nicer! We Definitely recommend!

Traditional Hotel

We stayed at the Fullerton Arms for just one night as we were touring about Northern Ireland. This hotel has nothing but charm. The staff were incredibly kind and accommodating, the room was cozy and comfortable and the views, spectacular. The location is also quite ideal as the hotel is just a 15 minute drive from both Giant's Causeway and the Dark Hedges.
