Do not book a stay here

I paid $155.46 for one night in this room. I asked for a refund and was refused.

The faucet was unhooked from the sink and had to be operated with two hands as a result.

The shutter that opens to the outside was broken when we showed up and needed to be fixed while we were there.

The air conditioning does not appear to work and the room was very warm all night.

We are led to believe by the pictures from hotels.com for this room that it would have a kitchenette inside the room.

From the advertising it sounded like we would have a queen bed. However the bed is just a double.

What we discovered when we showed up is that this is actually a dorm room that is available for rent during the summer when school is out. This is a dorm room that would be used by a single person and we are a couple. We had no idea that this was going to be just a dorm room with a desk in it and a bed.

The host (Robert) who comes in the morning to cook your breakfast is what sets this property apart from any place I've ever stayed. And I've traveled to almost 30 countries now. He's enjoyable to talk to and genuinely enjoys his guests. He has great info and insight and cooks an excellent breakfast as well. The dining room coffee machine brews excellent coffee options too. My mom and I really enjoyed our stay.

One night in Bushmills

Stayed here for an overnight to visit Bushmills distillery. We were able to check in earlier than expected which was nice. Room was comfortable, walking distance to Bushmills distillery and close to downtown. Breakfast was good, host was very friendly.

The traditional Irish breakfast was excellent! The windows in our room opened that allowed a cooler breeze. Very nice stay. Super close to the Dunluce Parish Bus Stop for transportation to Coleraine.

No real check in experience. Just keys to the room left in the front lobby. The room was fairly small but useable for a few nights. The location was just off the highway so easy access to services. You’ll need to bring your own ice and washcloths. The dining area had a tea/coffee/espresso maker that was available 24/7. The hostess was seen only during breakfast. She provided a hot breakfast and also had cereals, juice and yogurt available.

After being initially unimpressed, I have to say I left feeling really impressed and satisfied with my stay. I was initially in a room at the front of the house which i found noisy and had a slightly unpleasant smell. However I asked to move and the second room was perfect. While adequate, there were some issues. Room very small. En suite toilet/shower area tiny (former closet?), sink is in small bedroom area- light over mirror, at bedside & the TV all didn’t work, absentee owner was unreachable at posted phone number. The room was newly refurbished and very comfortable including the bed except for the pillows.
We were surprised to find that the room was not serviced during our 2 night stay, there is no mention of this anywhere in the literature. Breakfast was hot and well cooked but the cooked meal was limited to scrambled egg and bacon.

Few days away, this was the ideal place to stay, right in the middle of a lovely village and loads to do near by on the coast. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and perfect for what we needed it for. We didn't book breakfast but was told we could pop in for it if we wanted to. The price was very reasonable. I would recommend and stay here again

Nice location. Great hosts. Very tasty breakfast! A little bit older of a location. We stayed in the family Suite, where the king size bed was very comfortable. But the pull-out sofa was older, saggy and not very comfortable for our 10 and 12 year old. Also needed dusting. The shower was hot, with lots of pressure though. Close to the Giant's Causeway and lots around the immediate area as well. Would recommend.

The staff here is great. We had some lost luggage on our flight and after contacting the proprietor he took care of everything.

Our breakfast was perfect, just what we needed to start our day visiting the nearby beautiful sights of Northern Ireland.

The only downside (which could also be a pro) was our room was very close to the road.

Stayed two nights here with my mother and brother. The House was in a great location. It was only a short walk to the city center and the Bushmills distillery. While Dunluce Castle and Giants Cuaseway were both about a 5 minute drive (~2.5 miles) from the house. We also visited the Dark Hedges which was about a 15 minute drive. Robert was very helpful with giving us advice on when was the best time to visit each place and how to get there. He also made a great breakfast for his visitors every morning. I would highly recommend this B&B to anyone looking for a place to stay in the Bushmills area.

Ideal B&B for Bushmills!

We had a lovely stay in a clean and comfortable room. Robert cooked us a generous helping of bacon, eggs and toast for breakfast and was eager to ensure we had a great time. Less than 10 minutes walking distance to restaurants and pubs. The bus stop that takes you to the Causeway is across the street. I would recommend this place to my own family, so book with confidence!

While we did catch them off guard with late notification, they were splendid at making us feel welcome, helped procure dinner reservations for the evening & arranged lodging elsewhere for the next night when we asked to extend our stay, but they did not have room. Charming, Remodeled and Friendly in Perfect Spot

My husband and I arrived to a parking spot and a lovely note with our key. We were rather late upon arrival and it warmed our hearts to see they thought of everything! We had no trouble entering the BnB and letting ourselves in the room. We felt like the hosts trusted us and so we immediately trusted them. We were pleased to see how nice the rooms were. Our room was spacious and cozy. The walls were fresh and the design was modern and clean. The colors of the design are easy on the eyes, and truly soothing for a deep sleep. We showered and were made very comfortable by the nice bed. In the morning, we had a chance to meet the hosts as we ate a delicious Irish breakfast complete with perfectly crafted coffee, a very important need for both of us. Our host came out and introduced himself. He had a beautiful smile and a clearly joyful attitude on life. We had a rich discussion on music, history, and politics. Our guide books said never to discuss politics, but we felt very comfortable chatting and sharing ideas here. It felt like visiting old friends. We just belonged here. The BnB is perfectly situated in the center of town and just a stone's throw away from fish, chips, and endless whiskey and Guinness. Bushmills is a town not only worth visiting, but staying in. You will not regret waking up to the quiet country with the kindest people.
