My mom and I had an EXCEPTIONAL stay at Crowfield house. The level of hospitality from our hosts, Sam & Patricia, was unmatched! Our room was gorgeous, comfortable, and immaculately clean. The grounds are beautifully kept and so peaceful. The breakfast prepared by Chef Sam was far and away the best I have experienced at any B&B ever. The only downside was that we did not book for a longer stay. We will absolutely return on our next trip back - many thanks!

We had the most wonderful stay in Crowfield House. It is rare to find a place which offers so much in the way of service, friendliness, beautiful surroundings, high quality linen, 5* food and an overall restful experience. I highly recommend this place for visits to Northern Ireland. It is placed in the countryside with gorgeous views, and within easy access of all of NI's beauty spots. We will definitely be going back to Crowfield House many times.

We stayed at this property 10 years ago and loved it so much we vowed if we returned to Ireland we would revisit. We weren’t disappointed. Beautiful Stay in Northern Ireland

We had the loveliest stay at Crowfield House. Sam and Pat went above and beyond with their service. The breakfast every morning was absolutely delicious. The room was very clean and had lovely touches like a chocolate jar and a full supply of tea and coffee. The gardens around the home were stunning, and you can tell how much hard work and heart they've put into the place. I will definitely stay there again next time I have the pleasure to visit the area. They are very close to the Giant's Causeway and Bushmills, and both have so many recommendations they are happy to share. I wish we had more time there!

An absolute gem!

We echo all the previous positive comments that have been posted about the Crowfield House! The hosts, Sam and Pat, are wonderfully welcoming and go out of their way to make sure their guests are comfortable and have a great time. Their breakfasts are outstanding. They are, indeed, both chefs and have actually been in the hospitality business together for 40 years, which is amazing in and of itself! The guest rooms are roomy and have every amenity you could think of--and even some extras, like sweets to have with your in-room cup of coffee or tea. Beds are super comfy. The beautiful location is central to lots of interesting north coast activities and Sam and Pat are great at making suggestions based on the weather, your time and your interests. We came as guests and left as friends--our deepest thanks!

Our hosts Patricia and Sam were very welcoming and friendly. They both have experience in the high end of the hotel industry and it shows.
The house and gardens are beautiful and our room was very clean and comfortable. Nothing was left to chance, every detail was taken care of.
Breakfast was probably the best we've ever had and included delicious home made breads and jams.
This is by far the best b and b we've stayed and Patricia and Sam should be very proud.

Simply the Best

Magnificent B & B. We wondered how the Crowfield House could consistently receive the highest rating. We wonder no more. We stayed five nights and it flew by. Everything was a 10 plus. Sam and Patricia were born to run a B & B. They couldn’t be more friendly yet never intrusive. The room was extremely comfortable. 5 Star bedding. Great bathroom with shower and deep tub. Every piece of furniture and art work were carefully selected. Immaculate is a overused word but not in the case. The grounds were extensive and beautifully manicured. The river Rhee in the back even had a waterfall. Breakfast was a delight. A great selection of fresh fruit, eggs to order, and homemade bread. Again 5 Star with tablecloths and cloth napkins - ironed perfectly of course. If you a searching for a quiet B & B with incrediable hosts, stop searching. We will be back and will book directly with the Crowfield House and skip a booking agency.

This B&B in deep countryside with its own trout stream offers a personal welcome, a beautiful bedroom with quality furnishings, a pristine bathroom and a delicious breakfast. The owners offered and booked dinner for us at a nearby pub restaurant ,also excellent.

Unexpected delights were the views from the breakfast room where we watched an otter rolling in the stream and the home-baked madeleines.

Beautiful retreat in the countryside

This B and B is better than fabulous. Sam and Pat were extraordinary hosts. It was the best place we stayed on our 18 day trip around Ireland. The setting defies description. The property is beautifully landscaped. The home it self was spotless and the room was very comfortable. It open out on a patio with a view of the small horse farm next door. Our hosts were wonderfully helpful. They made our dinner reservations for us at the restaurant at a nearby golf club and gave explicit directions to our next destination. We left wishing we had stayed longer. Thank you Sam and Pat.

Great place by the River Bann!

The hosts at Crowfield House are a great couple who made me feel at home.
The whole property is very modern and surrounded with very well kept gardens with River Bann at the back.
Room was very comfy and clean.
Bathroom was great with spacious shower.
Good quality, fresh and delicious breakfast.
Fast Wifi and good mobile signal, yet in the sticks, far from the noise.

The hosts are hotel professionals and chefs who have created a special retreat for guests visiting Northern Ireland's coastal attractions. Their inn is immaculate and situated in a lovely garden by a river. They are attentive to every need of their guests and the atmosphere is serene and beautiful, with beautiful appointments in the rooms and a cosy, book-filled sitting room for guests to enjoy in the evening. It would be worth staying at Crowfield House even if there were nothing to do in the area; it is that lovely. The hosts recommended an excellent hotel restaurant just a mile away, The Brown Trout, which solved the dinner issue nicely: little driving.

The owners of Crowfield House have years of experience running hotels and have taken all their expertise, along with a wonderful sense of design, care for the needs of guests and love of great cuisine and created a perfect small hotel. Lovely gardens and lawns surround Crowfield House and while being close to a main road and so easy to get to, it is quiet and serene. This is a beautiful place to stay while touring the Antrim Coast and Glens, visiting Coleraine or golfing at the famous courses. The drive to Crowfield House from Belfast Airport was easy.

I was traveling solo and I felt so welcome. My room was lovely and well appointed. It had a peaceful view of the river and, across it, horses grazing. My entire stay was perfect, but the delicious breakfasts and excellent conversations were highlights of my stay. I recommend Crowfield House to anyone who appreciates top quality accommodation. I am looking forward to returning to Crowfield house soon.

The definition of hospitality

The Ferguson's are former hotel managers who built and operate one of the best B & B's I have ever encountered. They are committed to the care of their guests - from the room furnishings to the home-made breakfasts. I wish they were my neighbors so that I might have them as life-long friends. This is the place to stay if you are visiting the Antrim Coast (Giant's Causeway, Bushmills, Dunluce Castle).

Best B & B we have ever stayed at anywhere!!

This B & B is fabulous!! The beautiful country setting, immaculate and comfortable room and en suite. Helpful but unobtrusive hosts. Although there were two other couples staying there, it was so quiet! Breakfast was a mixture of a buffer of wonderful fresh fruit, freshly baked bread, yogurt, nuts, cereal, and also eggs, bacon, cooked to order. There is a very good country inn where we had dinner just down the road (host urged us to drive there for a safety reasons, no shoulder on the road.) Coleraine is about a 10 minute drive from there.

Everything a B&B should be

Spent three nights in Crowfield over a long June weekend. Slept in well-appointed twin room and kept the window open all night to here the sound of the river and morning chorus. Gardens all round the house and no nearby neighbours. The lounge, dining room and guest spaces are welcoming and maintained to highest standards without pretension. A warm welcome on arrival and truly friendly goodbye. Breakfast is cooked to order in open plan kitchen next to the dining room and the quality of everything from sauces and marmalade to the locally sourced eggs and bacon is top notch. No request seemed troublesome to the owners and we left wishing we had had longer to stay. Accommodation totals six maximum so there is no crowding or competition for attention or space. We have every intention of returning in November. Sam and Pat are professionals and although supposedly retired (!) are just the most delightful B&B hosts - never flagging in their effort to make guests feel at ease and part of the family. Crowfield is a model establishment.

Best B&B Ever!

Having been almost 2 weeks in Scotland/Ireland, we were getting a little weary of hotel-type impersonal accommodations. Crowfield House is out in the countryside with very few homes and no businesses nearby. The owners were relaxed but professional, built a B&B/home that is perfect for guests, located with all the country relaxing things right there - a stream (with brown trout!), beautiful manicured lawn with nice patio that overlooked the back lawn, and even a few cows across the country lane quietly grazing. My room was large and very comfortable as was the en suite bath. Breakfast was deligious with a varied menu. There was even a large raven/crow that landed on the wooden fence by the creek that we could see as we ate breakfast, and it was obvious he was looking for something. After breakfast, we asked the owners and sure enough Charlie (!) had been stopping by for five years expecting after breakfast leftovers for his own breakfast. I would recommend this B&B without reservation.

We arrived late to a warm welcome directing us to a local pub for dinner. Returning to a stunning peaceful room with everything and more than you need. Walking in to the smell of home cooked bread was an added feature which had you excited for breakfast which was outstanding. Attention to rdetail was impeccable, chocys, large fluffy towels etc

Sam and Pat are amazing hosts, very friendly and helpful, including booking us a table for dinner at the local pub for when we arrived. The room was clean and tidy, and had everything we needed. When we returned from dinner, there was fresh milk in the room along with chilled still and sparkling water. Breakfast the next morning was an impressive buffet, with a choice of cooked food. Overall, a wonderful experience, never had anything quite like it before. If we are ever in the area again, this would be my first choice of accomodation
