Stay was nice. Disappointed that we mistakenly double booked 1 of our 2 rooms for 1 night and didn't realize it until we checked in. Staff refused to help us and we had to double pay. Thus, we won't stay again but the hotel was nice.

This hotel for me and my daughter and granson was EPIC
It exceeded my expectations it may not be full of 5* features but as a disabled person with walking difficulties the staff could not do enough for us storing my mobility scooter to taking responsability when traffic wardens asked about my parked car outside the entrance even when my badge was clearly showing to be honest I have traveled the world to the best hotels and the staff do not come near this hotel if I could give 10 stars I would super clean great location massive bed bathroom was really nice with walk in shower free toiletries

First trip to The Marcus to celebrate my partners birthday. We stayed in a Superior Room with great King sized bed. Liked the refillable water bottles and the toiletries in the bathroom were of high quality. Steamer was a nice touch albeit some instructions would have been nice.
I purchased 1 x breakfast at property, understanding that its the beginning of the summer season, the young staff seemed completely overwhelmed. The Cold buffet selection and coffee was standard fare but the a la carte cooked breakfast was of disappointing quality and service extremely slow. The dining room manager was very friendly to me but should not have been raising her voice to the junior staff in the dining room, nor calling them kids to guests. She said one of the kids will be over to take your breakfast order. As competition in the area grows, Hilton you must up your game!!
Cocktails in the bar were faultless and very good value for money. All in all would we would return.

We stayed with our dog and honestly couldn't not have had a better trip. Loved our stay. Parking was abit of a pain but that was not the hotels fault.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights while in Portrush. The hotel is very well located. The rooms were clean and well appointed. The breakfast served in the mornings was very good. The parking is offsite but we had no issue finding street parking close to the hotel. We would definitely stay at this hotel again if we find ourselves in this very beautiful part of the world.

Our stay was fabulous. All the staff were excellent -110%. Dinner was excellent too.
A special mention to the member who was on duty at breakfast - I’m really sorry I didn’t get her name but I know she was Nepalese. Her attention was superb - would make me want to stay again!

Our stay at The Marcus was unfortunately quite disappointing, despite some positive first impressions. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated and has a stylish, modern feel, which initially gave us high expectations with it being situated bang in the centre of Portrush

However, the room was a major letdown. We had originally booked a double-double room, but upon arrival were given a “king deluxe” with a king-size bed and a sofa bed. With two children (aged 13 and 10), the sofa bed simply wasn’t big enough. I went back to reception to resolve the issue, and while we were moved, the replacement room turned out to be smaller and have a double bed and a queen bed — something that was never clearly communicated to us. Meaning we downgraded ourselves to a double bed from a king and the boys bed looked similar size but just sturdier than the sofa bed

We also moved from the second floor to the fifth floor in the hope of getting a better view, but unfortunately ended up facing the side of another building, which was quite disappointing when our initial building had a view from the front

Service was inconsistent throughout our stay. I requested towels in the afternoon, but they never arrived, and I had to remind staff again the following morning. To make matters worse, there was no shampoo in the room at all. I raised these issues with reception on check out, and while they took our details and said they would look into it, we never heard anything further.

Lovely comfy bed and pillows, the king rooms are quite squished but all the essentials are in the rooms including a fridge.

The Marcus Portrush is a beautiful property and my stay could not have been better. The room was comfortable, clean, quiet and well appointed, albeit a little short on floor space.
The bed was large and comfortable with great pillows and quality bedding.
The staff and food were excellent. I would definitely choose the Marcus again.
