THIS IS A BED AND BREAKFAST!!!
Surprise to us as it was not indicated as such within Expedia.
It was beautifully maintained, clean, and breakfast was amazing. Anne & Lynn were very nice.
Only thing I would suggest is maybe having screens put on the windows so that the bugs don't come in when in need of fresh air.

Great spot went visiting the north coast!

Great central location for everything on the north coast. We were able to get to all of the major sites easily. Beautiful sunsets just down the road. Great sized room and liked that she had cooling unit and a fan as I had read it was warm at night. We used these and had no issues. Wonderfully clean room and great breakfast. Wonderful hosts! Highly recommend!!

Excellent experience, everything was so very well organised, given a map of where all the beautiful sights to go to, also a leaflet about salmon and whisky festival that was taken part in the Bushmill's town about a 5 minute drive, are hosts were excellent, breakfast also very tasty, would highly recommend this to people travelling to this part of the country

The property was very good and there is plenty to do in Bushmills and surrounds. While I know NI isn’t renowned for needing cooling, it was quite warm at night and a fan would have helped.
Breakfast was excellent. You’ll need a car or organise taxis to get to and from attractions, but it wasn’t too difficult.
Don’t let your GPS take you along Toberkeagh Rd. If it does, drive past and reroute.

Stay here! The owners are the sweetest people and have made the Inn a great place to stay. Breakfast was freshly made each morning. And was delicious. The best part for me was have a glass of wine in the hot tub while enjoying the view and the company of my husband.

A very stylish, comfortable place. Ann the host was amazing had all questions anticipated -including all the details in our room we consider. When she found out we had just had our union ceremony& said yiu are in your 'honeymoon' -she slipped a couple wine glasses in our room refrigerator & gave us a bottle of nice red wine. The breakfast choices were outstanding, fresh & lots of fresh fruit & extras. The facilities were spotless clean. Hot tub with a fitness room next to it. Even plush robes & slippers complete with chocolates on the bed. Nice private lounge to top.it off. Sweet stay. Would love to return someday.

B&B that feels like a hotel

The hosts have set their B&B up in a manner that feels as private as a hotel. We didn’t feel like we were invading someone’s home. I can’t think of a thing they missed in designing our guest room, right down to automatic lights and a towel warmer in the bathroom. Very nice and would definitely stay here again if we were to come back to this area.

We really enjoyed our stay as the room was beyond our wildest expectations.

Unfortunately as we got back so late the kids missed out on using the hot tubs. However the next morning Lyle allowed the kids to use the tub before we set off. It really made their stay complete!

Highly recommended plus the breakfast was great too.

Beautiful - wish we stayed longer!

Our only regret is that we didn't stay here longer! Our one night made us wanting more! We felt AT HOME the minute we walked in the door!!
After taking the scenic drive from Dublin to Bushmills we arrived at the Lodge just before dinner time. Anne was there to greet us and show us to our room (Carrick-a-Rede). The room was very spacious, beautiful, large and comfy bed, plenty of pillows and blankets, large bathroom with spacious shower, and fresh milk and cookies. Anne took the time to give us suggestions on where to go to dinner. We ended up driving into to town and found a quick grab fish and chips. The drive is very nice and about 10 minutes. In the evening we considered using the spa tub outside, but instead we sat on the porch and enjoyed a night cap before turning in for the night. Breakfast in the morning was delicious! There was a nice spread of breads, jams, and fruits and we also had a full cooked breakfast from a menu of choices. Both my husband and I had the smoked salmon -- what a tasty choice!!!! Coffee and tea was good and it was lovely talking to the other guests.

Close to lots of things to see.

On arrival we were met and greeted and shown around the B&B. The little things make such a difference as most B&Bs are a like and so here the little things were: fresh milk in the fridge, none of that horrible UHT milk. The bathroom was like a expensive hotel with dressing gowns, slippers, small bottle soaps and shampoos plus toilet paper which was greater than one ply! Location was very good with many places to visit within a short drive. Breakfast was good with a nice selection of hot food with fresh friuts, yoghurts, cerals and brown bread. Would stay again.

Everything about the Causeway Lodge was wonderful: Clean, comfortable, well located, beautiful. However, non of the warm fuzzy feel of a typical B & B. More like a small motel as the owner was not present other than to serve the breakfast. If you are not interested in the \"warm fuzzies\" this place is perfect.

Just 10 minutes from the Causeway. This B&B run by Anne and her husband is homey, comfortable and extremely clean. A great breakfast in the morning too. Beautiful view of the landscape, couldn't have asked for more. Only regret is that we couldn't stay longer!

Very slick B&B with hints of Fawlty Towers

Very clean and comfortable room and the facilities are great. While not a \"cosy, family-run B&B\" style place, this is certainly a very well oiled business and every amenity is provided including some great local information. The hotel also has a hot tub and gym which we had not expected.

The only negative... Wrong info on hotels.com regarding check in / out times led us to have a frosty reception initially and being asked to check out before the check out time we had expected (in a manner which could have been more tactful / polite). As others have noted, check in/out times are very specific and you should expect short shrift if you are outside of them. If the owners are reading, perhaps an update of the info on this site is due to avoid future confusion.

Overall a fantastic stay though and would recommend.

A work of art

This B&B was a fair drive from the local attractions of Giant's Causeway and the town of Bushmills (the only source of dinner or lunch) , but probably part of the attraction. The owner's' attention to detail was unexcelled in my experience, from the room itself, to the entire building and the grounds, as if there had been an army attending to the place just before our arrival. The setting and peace and quiet were welcome after a day of hiking and driving, and we were glad to have not stayed in one of the more populated places.

Lovely B&B to stay at near Giants Causeway

This B&B was a lovely place to stay the night before seeing the Giants Causeway and after tours at Bushmills Distillery. Please note its close enough to the Giants Causeway you can drive there easily but its a long walk. The B&B is a wonderful place, the breakfast was so delicious. They recommended a restaurant for dinner and it was wonderful, we loved our stay there.

Causeway Lodge September 2015.

One night stay while traveling the arearea and we were late check ins. Found our room key with instructions, no problem. The hostess was wonderful to us with a breakfast that was superb. The only negative was a very hard bed that made it difficult to get comfortable. This may have been a personal preference thing. I would definitely recommend the Causeway Lodge as it is beautiful and has wonderful management.

Our family of four stayed in the Dunluce Suite, which is situated on the side of the building with it's own private entrance from the outside; perfect if you don't want to disturb other guests with your departures and arrivals. The bathroom is huge with both a soaking tub and separate enclosed shower. There are plenty of hot breakfast choices and everything we tried was delicious (we stayed all over the northern part of Ireland and this lodge had the best breakfast). The location is ideal for visiting the Causeway Coast's main attractions. We would recommend to our family and friends.

One of the best B&Bs you will ever find

Causeway Lodge is an excellent place to stay. The house is about 12 years old, located in the quiet countryside near Bushmills and very conveniently placed for exploring the north coast. Brown direction signs help you find it as you drive along the main coast road from Ballycastle or Bushmills.

The house is immaculately kept and my guest room with its sofa and desk was large enough to be comfortable for an extended stay. The bed was large and comfortable and had high quality linen. The bathroom was modern, had an effective power shower, plenty of good towels and the usual toiletries. Also in the room was tea and coffee making equipment, a mini fridge (resupplied each day with fresh milk and bottled water) and an ironing board and iron.

The breakfast menu is excellent, especially, in my view, for its choices of fresh fruit and varieties of bread.

Nothing seemed too much trouble for the owner and her staff. I will happily return to Causeway Lodge.

Our accommodation at the Causeway Lodge was absolutely stunning! Very private and an upmarket home from home feel. We actually just wanted to move in! The room was huge and spacious beautifully decorated, the bed was huge - the kind you get lost in, and that bathroom was lovely with a great shower.
The hospitality was great with a breakfast that had variety and was delicious. Can't praise this place enough. I'd definitely recommend it, and wish we'd stayed longer than one night.

We tried to book at the Causeway Hotel right at Giant's Causeway, but I am so glad there was not any availability because we wouldn't have discovered the Causeway Lodge B&B with Ann and her wonderful staff. We stayed at many other hotels on our trip to Ireland/Northern Ireland and we were honestly most impressed and pleased with our stay at Causeway Lodge out of the entire trip. Ann called a local restaurant to reserve a table for us after we'd arrived and she was so accommodating and friendly! We would stay here again in a heartbeat! The breakfast was delicious with many continental choices as well as a great selection on their menu.

GREAT service and HUGE, pretty rooms!

Cannot say enough good things about this lodge! The woman that checked us in went above and beyond, despite the fact that we arrived late without calling to inform her! We were unfortunately not very considerate, but she was way too sweet to let us know if it bothered her! And she wanted to be sure that we had eaten dinner before we went to bed! Truly exceptional customer service!!
The room was the largest that we saw in our 2 weeks in Europe! It was very well decorated and comfortable! Honestly, it is worth it to go to this area of Northern Ireland for this lodge alone, but it is also very close to both the Giant's Causeway and the Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge.

Lodge was difficult to find, even with GPS/Sat Nav co-ordinates (wish better directions could be found online). The auto-shut off light in the bathroom was annoying as it would shut off during your shower. Having said this, it was a lovely B & B, built for its purpose, and the breakfast had many options, and was really tasty. Lyle was very approachable, and had great advice.
