The staff is absolutely rude. They didn’t speak English, which was fine, because I’m in another country but we were very nice and we tried to use an app to communicate with them and they were still rude. The motel was disgusting. Don’t stay there. It was like one of those motels people stay long term. Gross

Great location, views, and helpful staff, but a few problems. Room was not ready on-time. Entrance is not on the street listed. And, there was no shuttle--we cabbed it to the airport at 150 shekels.

The staff were very helpful even though they struggled to understand English, we were able to work it out. The property istelf was older and a little shabby on the exterior, which reflects on the price, the rooms were spacious clean and comfortable though, and the location superb right by a lovely clean beach with plenty of snack bars, showers etc, also the breakfast was very good, very nice place to stay

Worst stay ever!! Don’t stay here!

I DEMAND A REFUND FROM MY SECOND NIGHT!!! Which I didn’t stay. I booked the room for two nights but i had to move rooms after the first night . We decided to celebrate my mom’s birthday at jerusalem but stayed on tel aviv since it was near the airport. When we arrived to the hotel, it was a struggle to open the door. Then by the bathroom and the refrigerator there was multiples ants. No joke!! My mom wanted to leave at that moment but i decided to stay because i was tired after 10 hours of flight. We left the next day at 5:30am. The new hotel was able to storage our bags so we could go an explore. They were fabulous. I regret so much booked this hotel so much!!! Ruined our trip.

It’s is absolutely different from what it advertised as!!! Room is very tiny and not comfortable. We were on family vacation with 2 kids and I had to find accommodation for my kids somewhere else ( this room is not suitable for 4 people)
Only 5 parking spots for over 30 rooms!!! ???
No space to dry cloth or beach towels .

Most of the staff/housekeepers were pleasant and smiling. The beds were terrible. There was no mattresses in any of the 3 bedrooms. Instead there was a 4-5 inch piece of foam covered in thick vinyl. It was very hard and uncomfortable,. There were no top sheets on any of the beds. Unfortunately, we were in our pjs ready for bed when we discovered this. The housekeeper threw the top sheet on the bed, and left without putting it on. The lady who was at front desk, most of the time, did not speak English. There was nowhere to park a rental car so we had to change our plans and missed a day of sightseeing. My nephew's wife saw on-line that the rooms were rented by the hour at Spat Beach Hotel.

Location was great with the beach at our front door and the bus to Tel Aviv was handy. The included breakfast was really nice. Most of the staff were a bit grumpy. Rooms were pretty clean but older hotel. For the money it was a good deal.

Hotel is close to the beach which is nice. But this hotel is not good value for your money.
Rooms are very basic. There is no soap or shampoo in the shower. Rooms was not cleaned during our stay. Cigarette burns in sides of the bed.
Smoke from people smoking nearby (in hotel corridor) gets into the room..
Limited English of staff is not making things easier when having a question. A pity as staff in general is friendly and helpful.

Nice, quiet rooms with a full, real breakfast. Staff was nice as well. Note that parking is off of the road by the beach just behind the hotel and is free. However, it has a gate that you have to have the front desk open. The beach is literally across the street.

Poorly run, no ocean view. Paid thru expedia and said we had not paid. Demanded full payment, next day once we proved payment they refunded. Room not very clean, sand on floors. Bathroom was just a wetroom, Strange blue lights around bed. Reminded us of a lower class eastern Europe hostile

Great location, basic/average hotel

We have stayed at Spat Beach hotel for a week. I believe it is run by Russians, most of the guests are Russian too, all staff speak Hebrew and Russian. Some of them are able to speak English (or at least the basic). Hotel looks bit scruffy from outside, inside - room size is absolutely fine, furniture is very dated - especially the wardrobes. The bathroom was a bit struggle - as this actually a wet room, there are no shelves whatsoever, so you end having your staff on the floor. When we arrived there were also somebody else hair in the corners of the room and by the side tables,also during the stay, I must stay the cleaning was not really 100 percent. Breakfast was always prepared, it is not a buffet style. You always got the same, which is bit repetitive - but you got fresh omelette, vegetable salad, some tuna and cheese,olives, lovely bread..Overall, I would say, the location is brilliant, in Bat Yam - it is opposite the beach, walking distance to all shops, markets, restaurants. to the bus stops. Hotel is very average, but bearing in mind how much we paid for the stay, it is fair enough. It absolutely met our needs, as we were travelling around a lot. If you are looking for a beach holiday and planning to chill out at the hotel too, this is not the one.
Staff are ok, some are more helpfull than others, some not at all - so you feel you bother them really, but I assume this is something you may experience in Israel everywhere - people in general are not happy puppies.

Stayed there twice in the last 2 weeks. Rooms are very basic, ok condition. One of the bathrooms was quite old and could need some remodeling, the other was quite new but was missing a curtain on the floor-level shower - causing some flooding :-) One room was facing the sea side - very nice view, but very loud. Even with closed window, it was next to the large A/C from the bar/shop below. Other room was facing the back side. Quite enough to leave the window open over night. Lobby was always open, limited English at the reception, but good enough to communicate (you are better off with Russian there). Breakfast is served to the table, quite basic, with no choices, but ok. Parking is limited, but free when available. Beach is extremely close, some restaurants all around. Traffic could be terrible if you hit the rush hours, esp. if you need to go to TelAviv in the morning. Bad experience was that in both stays there was no room service for one day each. They won't service the room unless you have a sticker for the door, which I learned to late (and was missing in the room anyway).
WLAN did not work in one room, partially very slow in the other room.

Great area, great clean beach, friendly staff, free parking, great breakfast. The room had a noticable cigarette smoke smell. Bed sheets did not feel clean, had spots on them. Toilet was not attached to the floor, almost fell over.

Wouldn’t go for a 2nd time

The room smelled from cigarettes, the toilet smelled and was tiny. In it was a shower without curtains. Our room was towards a Main Street. So quite loud.
The floors smells from cigarettes. Altogether not a pleasant place
Only positive point was the nice beach opposite the hotel.
The personal was friendly.

Agradable pero con fallas.

El hotel en terminos generales bien, fallas: no tiene ascensor y la ducha es mu baja, está instalada a una altura de metro y medio; cosas más complicadas es que en el hotel nadie habla inglés. Lo positivo: el desayuno es aceptable, las habitaciones son buenas y el personal amable, por dentro está bien cuidado, pero por fuera parece que hubiera habido un bombardeo, pero rn Tel Aviv hay mucho edificio en las mismas condiciones.

Hôtel juste bien placé par rapport aux plages, sinon le reste est nul.
Literie inconfortable, matelas ultra dur, le ménage des chambres n'a pas été fait pendant 1 semaine.
Pas de porte serviette, pas de sèche-cheveux.
Hôtel situé assez loin de Jaffa ou l'aéroport donc pas pratique.

A bit strange hotel. Some rooms seem to be available on an hourly basis. Not exactly a family location. Some issues with smoking in the rooms and burn marks on covers was less appetizing. Parking not always available and tbh this location is not suited for travellers who do not speak Russian or Hebrew.

People that work there are good(except fat lady with short black hair that is an animal.. really rude). But you have to choose a time to have breakfast like 8 am or 9 am.. if you are not there, they put your door down..you have shower on the toilet.. and you have to clean it..see the photos..no one speaks English.. they are Russian. If u like fruits forget.. u don’t have this on breakfast.. is very far away from ted aviv .. is another city..

Chambre très décevante par rapport aux photos du site. Vue sur le rond-point...murs un peu moisis. Mais rattrapé par un petit -déjeuner gargantuesque et très gentiment servi. Personnel très accueillant malgré la barrière de la langue.

Única coisa ruim é o barulho dos outros hóspedes. No quarto ao lado os hóspedes ficaram com volume de música/tv muito alto, e falando muito alto, atrapalhando nosso sono, até as 4:00am e pelo visto ninguém do Hotel foi pedir para diminuírem o barulho.

The best aspect was the position. In the South of Tel Aviv, but very close to the seaside.
The worst aspect was the personnel (some of them did not speak English) and the very limited size of out rooms (we had a room for 4 people, but the space of our room was very limited).
