Perfect small hotel! It's a 30 second walk down the road to the main promenade with the beach and restaurants. The hotel has beach chairs and umbrellas for guests to use at the other beach a 2 minute walk the other direction for free. The rooms were adorable and the balcony sea view was phenomenal!

Geo&Art hotel is perfect for those who like to be in the middle of the action in Himara. Walking distance to the beachside, restaurants, and bars. The service is excellent and the hotel is clean and well kept. The staff they have there is amazing. Note that this hotel does not have parking but they do have a recommended spot about 5 min walk from it. I belive I paid 10 Euros per day there. Also, if you like total quietness, note that this hotel is in front of the lively part of the city. It becomes very quiet at midnight, however.

The hotel was cozy and views amazing, however there is no nearby decent parking, there is no privacy on your patio or barely in your room if neighbor is on their patio, and the nightly noise from the kids arcade and nightclubs goes late into the evening. Outdoor table ice hockey plinking is somehow so loud?! We booked two nights and forfeited our second in hopes of finding something quieter.

We had a fantastic time in our stay at Gio R boutique we spent a couple nights the breakfast was exquisite the location where the hotels located. It’s right across one of the best beaches in all the area there are food options galore the general downtown area is 100 feet from the hotel And the whole hotel staff made the stay one of a kind.

Cute little hotel in a fantastic location. Definitely splurge on the sea facing rooms, the balcony was the highlight of our stay. I believe it’s run by a husband/wife Albanian duo and staffed by a few of the kindest Pilipino women. Everyone was very helpful.
The beds were very comfortable and beach towels were provided daily.
A few things I would have liked to know before booking or upon check in:
Parking costs extra and is down the street. Not a problem but it was a bit hard to find. A map would have been useful.

The Geo & Art is a family run boutique hotel. We loved our stay at Geo & Art. We had an amazing view of the sea and were only steps away from the beach and dining. The Geo & Art offered reserved beach chairs and umbrellas at a beautiful location only a short walk away. They also provided us with a towel. I recommend bringing water shoes as the beach is rocky. Our hotel was only a 10 minute taxi ride to Himare Castle. The Family (staff) helped us secure the ride to the castle and back. We loved our stay at the Geo & Art and give this hotel our highest recommendation! Thank you for everything!!!

From the moment we checked into Geo & Art, our stay was absolute bliss. The view from the room was spectacular, the decor was warm and inviting, access to the beach was so easy, and getting to the shops and restaurants was a breeze.
As for breakfast - I have been to a lot of hotels, and I've never experienced a more delicious and satisfying breakfast. Whether you like sweet baked goods or savory breakfast meats, everything was fresh and abundant.
As if the location and the meal weren't enough, the staff were all incredibly warm and friendly. We enjoyed visiting with them and learning a bit about Himare. When it was time to go they made us feel so welcome to return that we didn't really want to leave!
If you are looking for an inviting spot on the beach that is not overcrowded, come to Himare. If you are looking for a place to stay that will make you want to come back over and over, come to Geo & Art.

The hotel was a great location next to the beach. The staff were really friendly and were keen to help us park our car as the road was closed on our stay due to the resurfacing the road. The police did let us through the road closure to get there with no issue. The hotel was clean modern and a great one night stay to the south of Albania. Breakfasthad a lot of choice for a small hotel. Would return.

Loved the hotel! It was super clean and the decor was really nice. We got the room with the larger balcony overlooking the coast, and ended up spending a good chunk of our time there because it was so beautiful. It was worth the extra cost, I think.

Property was very easy to find, has a very good location and it's super clean. The only two things are when you take a shower water gets on the floor of the bathroom but nothing bad and the location to park, that is a little far, but seeing the traffic of the city it’s a bless the hotel offers parking! Breakfast was good and staff friendly.

The hotel is in a great location overlooking the bay in Himare. The room was nice. Two negatives: no divider in shower, so entire bathroom floor gets wet and the parking is 400 meters away and is actually public beach parking.

Had a great stay, the area is lovely during the day and right next to the beach. At night the area gets more lively until 11:30 when the music stops. We really enjoyed our stay and the service was very good, they really looked after us. Would stay again here and for longer in future.

Geo & Art Boutique Hotel is a beautiful little family run Hotel in the Centre of Himare, right next to the South West Beach - which is the smallest, but offers free sun bean bags (if you’re there early).
Room was very small and simple, however, the large gorgeous balcony made it totally worth it! We had a sea view room and I highly recommend getting one as it made our stay. If for any reason you don’t, there are public balconies on each floor. The view is stunning and so are the sunsets! Some of our best time was spent enjoying a glass of wine on the balcony.
The hotel is very tasteful and stylish with a “Santorini” vibe and has a great location, although you have to be prepared for music coming from the beach bar across the road between 9 - 12. You are right on the beach promenade and close to everything. We quite enjoyed it though. Would highly recommend the restaurant Acta across the road.
The family that runs the hotel are very helpful and lovely and they make the best breakfast with lots of local delicacies and excellent coffee.
They also have a little boutique.
Parking is about 5 mins walk away but you can load off etc outside the entrance.

It was very clean and modern. The host was very nice and even put together a small breakfast for us even though it wasnt included. The value was great. The only thing that was a bit confusing (probably just us) was that the photos on Hotels.com make it look like all the balcony rooms have sea views, but that is not the case... maybe just our mistake. Either way it was an excellent place to stay and we would stay again!

If you’re in Himare there’s no where else you should stay. Although we weren’t sea view room (our choice) we could still hear the ocean from our room at night. Thank you for a wonderful time

Reviewing both my experience with Expedia and the property. The property I'd give 1/5, Expedias handling of feedback and issue a 0.5.
Really disappointed in both the property - we left after one night, even though we'd paid for 2. I like to book through Expedia for the added level of customer service and certainty I get - but now that feels like a myth.
I suggested Expedia reconsider having this hotel associated with their company as it currently stands - the property description is simply misleading users of what the end product is… in a big way... and by proxy Expedia are false advertising it... After assuring they'd help they have told me they won't be anything.
The property as advertised doesn't match what it in the following ways;
- The 'non seaview' rooms balcony isn't shown and is NOTHING like what is - faces a building so close you can touch it, 1/4 of size
- There isn't aircon. The compressor outside doesn't work so it's just a fan.

Another great discovery! We had a balcony overlooking the beach with only a very short walk to main square and tons of restaurants and shops. We will call the owner 'Mama Geo' and 'Daddy Art'. Despite our not speaking or understanding Greek, we found her to be so sweet and kind to us; She made us hot Greek donuts with honey in the a.m. Free parking underneath the hotel. One day we brought wine to our room and Mama Geo brought us a corkscrew and two glasses without our asking. The location is fantastic and rooms are comfortable. The shower in the bathroom is still a work in progress as there was no glass screen so water was all over including the toilet and T-paper. They are constructing still the hotel and it will be a fabulous place when finished. Wholeheartedly recommend for the price and good cheer.

Great hotel with the beach a few steps away. The owner was a very nice and friendly woman who welcomed us. The view from our room was amazing as well. Overall a great stay at a very reasonable price.
