We had a great stay at Villa Diana in Zadar. The location is excellent – everything you need is close by, from shops and restaurants to the old town and the sea. Parking was easy, which made things very convenient. The house was very clean and well kept, which made our stay even more comfortable. The host was very friendly and helpful, always available if we needed anything. Overall, a perfect spot!

A little nervous at first - we arrived later than expected and GPS took us to a back street, so finding property in the dark was challenging. After locating property,the reception office was closed. However, the owner was watching on the security camera and came right over to take care of us. Tony was extremely nice and helpful in getting us to our room. Room was smallest on property, but totally adequate for our one night stay. Modern, clean,with everything needed. Tony gave us tips for visiting the old city center, including a wonderful spot to have lunch right across from the Adriatic Sea. Would stay again for hopefully a longer visit.

This booking was a part of a long European journey. We booked this villa 3 hours in advance, which seemed fine according to the confirmation email, and started driving. Upon arrival there was nobody to meet us. I walked around the house, which I initially thought was a mini-hotel but actually turned out something like an airbnb, but did not see a soul. I rang all the bells with the same outcome. Finally I called the number on the sign and got “the recipient cannot take your call”. Then I called the number stated on Hotels.com and finally somebody picked up. I told then what happened and was told to call back in 5 min. I called back and was told to call back in 10 min. Then I was asked to call another number where a lady said “sorry, it never happed before, but can you wait 30 min and call back?”. The long story short, after over an hour wait somebody showed up to let us in. And then we saw this so called “superb” place: the room seemed damp and was very cold, the bathroom stank like sewage, bed sheets were dirty and I even found somebody’s hair on the sheet, which was disgusting. And the mattress was so cheap and soft that it would probably be better to sleep in our car. That would all be fine for a 2-star hotel, but this place shows 4 stars, which confused me and made me book it!!! Who, I mean, WHO rates it as superb??? The only good thing was the free parking and I assume it was only because we were the only guests.

Good value and comfortable
As soon as I walked into the building, I felt impressed by the condition of the place and was pleased to have got good value for money. I had chosen the basic double room and in terms of size it was adequate but the toilet/shower room was very spacious. WiFi was fine for web browsing but I lost my connection after uploading 5-6 photos; this happened several times one night. Although, on the whole, I was very happy with the place and the level of service, I have to mention that the chairs in the room were too soft to be comfortable and I had to use a cushion from the bed for support. There is sufficient natural light from a Velux window in the roof and a large frosted window in the bathroom but there is no window you can look out of for any sort of a view. This could be a plus or a minus depending on how private you want to be! The toaster in the kitchenette is a sandwich toaster, rather than a toaster for slices of bread. There is a supermarket 5-10 minutes' walk up the road and the number 7 bus is useful to bring you closer to the old town and the bus station.

This is the perfect place to stay in Zadar. It’s super clean. There is free parking. It’s walkable to the old town. Staying anywhere down in the old town would be expensive with a car. And you would need to leave your car in a public lot.

a gem of a place to stay
This was a terrific apartment. spacious, immaculate, well appointed kitchen complete with stove, oven, dishwasher. It even had a lovely porch where we could drink coffee in the morning, dinner in the evening. Free parking space directly in front. It is a fairly short walk down the hill to the old town which for some would be a disadvantage but we loved the walk along a residential area.

I booked this villa ahead of our stay as it look really good on the website. In reality that was exactly right but I had not realised it was about 1 mile from Zadar old town and down a busy road.
However the accommodation is comfortable, clean and the proprietor is very friendly and I would still recommend this place for a short stay in Zadar.The room has some kitchen facilities which are very useful in the morning for making breakfast and there is also a small patio to sit out and enjoy the sunshine in the morning.

Wonderful room and fantastic value
Beautiful, clean apartment with lovely patio to sip your morning coffee. Martina was lovely and great help. We had a car and greatly appreciated the parking right on the property. Old Town was a quick ride from the apartment. We would definitely stay again.

Villa Diana - A Clear Winner!!
Miss Nina (the owner) is fantastic. Although there was a language barrier, her positive, 'nothings too much trouble' body language stood out. She's a lovely lady, and has very good staff to attend to your needs. Villa Diana is perfectly located - less than a mile from Centre, Bars and Restaurants and Supermarkets nearby. We don't normally do Self-Catering, but this was well worth it. Well done Miss Nina

We had an apartment with a lovely covered balcony to sit out on & to also discretely dry washing. The apartment was very spacious with full cooking facilities (if you wanted) plus there is excellent on site parking. Great staff also, an excellent experience.

We stayed at Villa Diana Zadar for one night. It was very comfortable and clean. We had three people in one room so it was tight, but fine. The host met us after we parked and was very welcoming showing us to our room. The location is very near multiple restaurants in town which is nice. We had breakfast at Villa Diana which was a good spread with a variety of foods. We were the only ones in the breakfast room at the time so we had two worker's full attention. We headed out about 7:30am and it was about a 20 minute drive to Entrance 1 of the Plitvice National Park. It was an easy ride.

beautiful suite, big terraza n huge bathroom. well maintained property n very clean. had several steps to get to our floor. location is away from center about 5-10 min but problem solved w Uber charge 4 to 5 US$. we found most hotels located in the center have very small rooms, if u stay few minutes from the center you can get more space. the staff was very attentive n helpful. we travel extensively, and we can recommend this place.

Really nice and modern apartment. Staff are all lovely and friendly. Only thing we found was that the air con didn't seem to work, but we only tried to use it on the last night anyway. Big supermarket nearby is really useful, but walk down to Old Town is about half an hour walk, and bus station is even further (i recommend using Uber, especially with luggage!) Overall great place to stay on holiday though ☺

The whole place is clean and very well maintained. You walk through the front door and even to your room, it smells fresh and clean. All that you'll need for your stay is there. If you go by car, there's ample parking & if not, the bus stop is a stone's throw away. But most of all it's the people who looks after you. Very friendly and attentive.

The location is slightly away from the old town, around 20~30 mins walk, and the front desk is not 24 hrs. Other than these, the room is spacious. The condition of the property is great, and the utensils and appliances so on are prepared very well. The front desk was also nice. If you don't mind walking 20~30 mins to get to the old town, this villa will be a good choice.

I would give this place 10 if it were possible. Spcacious, immaculate, well equipped and run by such welcoming friendky people. Supermarkets closeby, short walk to the old town, parking on site. Nice olace to relax and plenty of equipment to cook if you choose. Really thus place was the best on our entire four week trip.

Darko the driver was very helpful and we used him while we were there to drop us into the old town for the evenings. He was always available to pick us up. Would really recommend.

The hosts were amazing, the best I have experienced so far. They gave a great overview of the city and how we can go around. The accommodation was nice, cozy and clean. A small kitchenette was a great help. The only area of improvement would be to provide daily housekeeping services and the edges of the bed can be lower so that it does not hurt while getting in/out.

Villa Dianna was a superb holiday home, spotlessly clean, perfectly equipped and very comfortable. The ladies who managed it were wonderful hostesses, from their warm welcome and throughout our week stay. This was our first visit to Croatia and all the information they provided ensured we could visit lots of stunningly beautiful areas by bus and on foot.
The location was good, it felt very safe walking into the city on an evening. There was a Lidi, a bakery, and a fresh vegetable market and bus stop all within 5 mins walk.
The people of Zadar are very friendly, the city and the surrounding area provide lots of variety and options. We will be back next year, this was a magical holiday.

The hotel was very clean, with a lot of lovely outside areas to sit at, all of them surrounded by nice plants and flowers. The small kitchen had a nice variety of utensils including a juicer a big bread knife. Even though the hotel is situated on a main road, the rooms were very quiet. Martina and the rest of the staff were very helpful and gave us lots of tips and advice.

We were very disappointed we did not get the apartment that we booked we got a studio I booked a one bed luxury apartment when we arrived I was told that they had been instructed to give us a studio My husband could not sleep for 2 of our 3 day stay as the ceiling was very low like an attic room and he suffers from clostaphobia on the third night another room became available Staff were very nice but unfortunately I did not get what I booked

This was one of (if not) the best places I have stayed in a very, very long time. Our host was just heavenly - she spoke impeccable English, had such extensive and well-catered, thorough knowledge of the local and greater surroundings. Could not fault her in a single way. Our room was also great - so very comfortable, beautifully furnished with a fridge, stovetop - everything we needed. The location was perfect - we parked easily out the front of the apartments, then drove very quickly down to the old town and parked easily there too. The service from the staff and the condition of the villa make this the best place to stay in Zadar. We were treated like family here and even had a wonderful breakfast served in our room. The location is down the street from grocery stores and only a 10 min drive to the old town. I would recommend this place to everyone!

Eine sehr schöne Unterkunft. Modernes Bad, schnuckelige Küche und ein bequemes Bett. Wir haben auch die Terrasse gerne zum Kartenspielen genutzt. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten wie 'Tommy' oder 'Lidl' waren gut zu Fuß erreichbar. In die Altstadt konnte man ca. in einer halben Stunde laufen und dadurch den Ort kennenlernen. Die Betreiber der Unterkunft waren super freundlich, sie haben uns herzlich empfangen und gut beraten. Alles in allem, sehr zu empfehlen.
