We checked into the hotel on Friday for a 3 night stay. The first room was'nt quite as expected compared to the photos, therefore we mentioned it to reception since it was for a 40th birthday weekend and a lovely receptionist called Ramona showed us to another room which was amazing, she was very understanding and friendly with this request. The breakfast was OK. However everything else was superb. The hotel is in an excellent spot right next to the canal, but not overally busy. Also the bar was great and the bartenders were good fun and very friendly. Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel and I thought the staff were exceptional

It wasn't something that they could fix without maintenance so immediately went to see if they could find another room. Found us another room for the rest of the stay which was a slightly upgraded room too.
Their recommendations for restaurants were very good as well.

Our daughter enjoyed having a floor to herself with separate bathroom. Hotel offered us a complimentary tour to Murano with pickup just outside. Bed super comfortable. Breakfast was also very good and staff very attentive. Would definitely stay again.

Fantastic stay at this hotel. Great location on Zattere. Our room was on the ground floor overlooking Ognissanti canal and church, amazing. The room facilities were superb and always spotless. Communication from hotel front desk staff was brilliant even before we arrived, with really helpful recommendations for our stay, thank you Omar and colleagues. Breakfast buffet excellent and helpful friendly service at all times. We had a cocktail tasting in the bar on our final evening, very professional and passionate staff Fabiano and Marco, wonderful experience and icing on the cake for yet another truly awesome holiday in Venice. I spend a lot of time in Venice, and I like this hotel a lot. The location is on the Giudecca, but close to vaporettos and a quick walk to the Grand Canal. The staff is young and smart. The plumbing works and the rooms are clean, functional, and attractive. Breakfast is good and the bar, replete with very hip mixologists, is simply outstanding. And, they were contacting me months ago about water taxi transfers to make sure I found them. While they don’t have their own restaurant, they sit between two restaurants that will do handily. Just a great hotel that is near enough to where the action is, but just far enough to be quiet and comfortable. I will be staying there again.

The location in the Dorsoduro area of Venice is perfectly situated away from the crowds of St. Mark's Square, yet a safe and comfortable 20 minute walk to the Basilica and the the Doge's Palace. The staff were friendly and professional. Will definitely return to Palazzo Venetiano.

It was noisy from staff working below our room. The staff in cleaning my room opened my notebook with pages of notes and messed them up. I had to spend time in getting them back in order. They should not have messed with the norebook in the first place. Irema, was very helpful, though, as she was very willing to offer any help. The room had very little room to place suitcases, etc.

We had a canal view room..it was on the lobby level or ground level floor.... not much of canal view...didn't even see 1 boat. Rooms / bathrooms are nice. Among all the stays in different hotels on this trip, this hotel had the best breakfast spread. Front lobby service as well as breakfast service was great. It was great to walk outside the hotel at night and great view of the canal and city on the other side of the canal. There was a stink in the pathway to and from the hotel.

I really liked the location at the edge of town that allowed us to be in the city immediately but with space to get away from the crowded streets.

The staff were very helpful and the location, while a bit challenging to get to, is very nice and very walkable to all of Venice. On the downside, we felt the breakfast was fine but not up to the otherwise high quality of the hotel. I would also note that the hotel, while characterized as intimate, feels more like a conference hotel with the size of tour groups apparently staying there. Lastly, while it would seem to be a quiet hotel, our room was located next to a back canal loading area which became active at 5:30 an each morning. I’m not clear how many other rooms were similarly affected by the noise but it sure made sleep impossible from 5:30 to 6:30 each morning.
