This hotel was perfect for what I needed. My daughter had two soccer games at the Pinatar Arena and this was in walking distance. There are a couple of restaurants nearby that I also enjoyed.

Greeted by poo in toilet. Bedside Light plug was broken and dangerous , telephone in room was not working so had to walk to reception. There was a leak in the room so I was greeted with a pool water . 5 night stay of which circa 2 days I had a bucket to catch the water. They provide shampoo and conditioner but no body wash. Towels are thin and your provided one towel each but towels are rough. Furniture in room broken and nails were visible. Patio door did not lock as lock was broken. The room smelt awful. Dirty iron which ruined white linen trousers. I would never stay in this hotel again I suspect it’s been awarded a4 star because of the spa. Staff appear not to care! I booked two junior suites with spa access and this was a waste of money. The rooms were not very clean. Very disappointing stay. Hot Breakfast was cold they provide a microwave but regardless of time it was always dirty. Good tea and coffee selection

The spa was included in our visit and that was the best part of our stay.
Limited staff around, no omlettes, breakfast average, rooms need updating and maintaining, bar was closed so nowhere to relax other than room, felt a very corporate style hotel. Not one for a holiday maker.

Great that you can combine a stay at the hotel with free spa access. Despite seeing reviews which say that the staff are unhelpful and offhand we found that the reception staff very helpful and knowledgeable about the local area . The breakfast was varied and of a decent quantity and the Spa is an experience worth having !

Had a lovely stay in the hotel. The only complaint we had was the food in the restaurant was cold. Dinner started at 8pm and we sat down at 8.15 and all the hot food on display was stone cold and it was the same at breakfast the next morning.

Great spa, and rooms shame about reception staff

The food was much improved since our last visit. The spa included in stay was great. But the reception staff where unavaiable and unhelpful when you found one, and did not advice on any services avaiable Or help when keys did not work. Young and unexperienced, felt we where a hinderence.

Hotel does look worn and could do with a revamp. However very clean , comfy beds and fresh towels everyday. Room standard overall was good. Really powerful showers and nice bathrooms. Staff serving at the pool bar were great. However the staff at the reception were quite rude at times and not very accommodating. There are minimal sunbeds for the size of the hotel but also the quality of the sun beds aren’t great. Good for a short break- don’t think you could stay a week!

We stayed for one night only, wished we had stayed longer.
We loved the spa.
The rooms were very comfortable and the area is very quiet with some lovely walks. We will return but for longer next time.

Staff not very attentive in the bar area.could never find anyone when needed and when you ring the bell you can hear it ringing at reception but nobody cares.maybe also a course on making cocktails as it says its a cocktail bar but clueless.
5 euro a night parking but none of the electric sockets in the car park work so you can't plug in your electric vehicle.
.
Will not be staying here again.

clean hotel, waited 10meetings to get room key while only receptionist talked on phone ,dining room no atmosphere resembled a school canteen, english breakfast was awful .no waiter service for evening meal,which is way overpriced ,,rooms have no character to them.no signs have any english on them, tv in rooms are only any use if your spanish is excellent ,outside bar great lots of sun loungers ,sp[a closed for couple of hours in afternoon,so disappointed with too many aspects, would never go again

Nice Hotel let down my a few issues

Check in was disappointing, took all if our details to say we couldn’t check in until 3 even though the hotel was half empty, then had to give all of our details again. No towels for the pool, only robes which we couldn’t get until check in, no food available by the pool. It is a nice hotel with nice facilities although would expect more from a 4 star hotel.

I left 4 days before booking expired. Asked for a refund! There is no bar soap for a start,plastic tubes with gel make a mess on the surface and are bad for the environment.Dining room cheerless,like a cafeteria and food below standard,no service at the bar and deserted mostly.Staff indifferent.Lights in the room unmanageable.Could not imagine spending Xmas there.Its just a SPA.Had a wonderful time at LAZenia on the beach and wonderful food and Christmas lunch with Cava

Do not book, if you believe there is a spa service! No treatments or use of pool over Christmas time. We arrived on the 23 of December for the use of the Spa and the pool over the 24th and 25th. Closures was not the website, neither noticeable in the hotel. I cannot rate this a 4 star hotel at all.

We stayed at the hotel 4 years ago. Everything has remained excellent. Almost! A big minus is that now the mini bars are not refrigerated, but can be used simply as a storage. The staff could not explain clearly the reason, proposed us to use the hotel bar. But what if you want a cold drink when the bar is closed? Besides, there was some inconvenience because of the limitation on the TV sound; some channels had very low sound. On the other hand, we were happy that parking lot across hotel (open air) was still available for free; the hotel's garage costs the same 5 euros. There are still a couple of not expensive and good restaurants in the downtown San Pedro del Pinatar.

Extremely disappointed with this hotel. Spa access meant access only to the pools and not the Sauna or steam room area as we were led to believe when booking. The food was third rate and whilst plenty of it, the hot food was cold and over cooked and the cold food was just plain catering. Didn't help that the staff made us wait until 9pm for dinner as there was a football team being hosted at the time of our stay and they seemed to get preference.

I am gluten free and the hotel food was not gluten free and they didn't have much that I could Eat, they charged me €25 for dinner a the receptionist said was it's down to the resturant , rubbish it's down to the whole hotel. Breakfast was included but it was the same situation there not even a grilled or plan tomatoes or mushroom no sausage even thou they had two, to chose from. Very disappointed with the attitude with the staff and hotel as a whole. It thinks it's better than it is. And all the spa facilities are not all included as I thought only the pool is, so no sauna or steam room was included.

A spa hotel is not really a spa hotel when the spa facilities are not available. Very disappointed that we were not advised of this advance and although facilities were made available at the Pinotar Arena these are quite limited by comparison. Also for some reason the beds weren't made whilst we were there.

Otherwise however, the staff were great and the hotel was very comfortable and we loved San Pedro. Shame about the spa though.

We decided to book a room at Thalasia as we had a wedding in the area and the hotel seemed to have a lot to offer. Little did we know that, while facilities look good, customer service is clearly lacking. Our first experience with their terrible customer service was trying to talk to the hotel over the phone. We were surprised to see that we weren’t able to connect directly to the hotel; instead, we were told we would receive a callback, which came 2 days after our stay! We were also unpleasantly surprised to find out that it was impossible for us to have acess to the Spa and Thermal pools earlier in the check in day or later on the check out day. We were told that we could pay an extra 30 euros to do a late check out. This seemed clearly unreasonable as most hotels around this popular beach area have no problem with clients using certain services right after check out. As such, we left the hotel without enjoying any of its facilities.

I must also add to this review that, while our experience in the hotel was poor at best, the experience for the couple of the wedding we attended was horrifically worse. They showed up for their wedding night at the hotel and only to be turned away with the explanation that their Suite reservation, made back in December, had been cancelled by the hotel without notice to the newlyweds. As the hotel didn’t have any availibility that night, they didn’t care about accommodating them or offering an alternative. All in all, terrible experience!

Lovely hotel just a few niggles. Towels very thin and far too small although thick dressing gown provided. No hand rail in shower or soap dish so if unable to bend down nowhere to put shampoo etc.
A car essential unless you just want to sunbathe and use spa.

We had a very enjoyable stay, the hotel was spotlessly clean and the beds and pillows very comfortable. There was plenty of choice for breakfast and the staff were very helpful - my only criticism is that the outdoor pool was not heated and extremely cold and you overlook a very busy main road when sitting by the pool. My suggestion would be to install frosted glass in the pool area to screen off the traffic for privacy when sunbathing. The bar did not open lunch times, but the Spa was lovely. We visited in June and thought it very good value for money,

Great views all round

Lovely hotel but beds a bit hard and the pool is a bit of an ordeal. You need to get a pass that can only be used once and if you come out the pool area you can’t get back in without paying. I would say the pool area is more for actual swimming versus hanging out; better to go to the beach.

A good location if you want to take advantage of the warm winter sunshine.
The hotel is quite a long way outside the town and does not have many restaurants nearby and so having the use of a car is essential.

Nice Spa facilities. The bedroom had nice decor but pillows were not comfortable at all, workmen started fixing a door across the corridor from our room before 8am and woke us up, it did not help with having to listen to the nextdoor rooms flushing the toilet throughout the night. Breakfast wasnt anything special and we found a toenail on our bathroom floor on arrival, overall not great for a four star rated hotel.

Good hotel for couples, thermal spa area nice and clean ( you need to buy a swim hat). Water was salty and goggles would be a good idea.
Shower was great good pressure and hot, bed was comfy and air con easy to set to suit individual needs. Breakfast was typically Spanish, more continental with a few hot dishes, however there was plenty to choose.
Didn't like the bedroom headboard as uncomfortable when sat in bed watching tv due to down lighting, also all the room lights controlled by panel at side of the bed which has a green light on all the time and in direct eye contact when sleeping.
There were no tea/ coffee making facilities in the room.

Well situated hotel for beaches restaurants shops.

Dreadful hotel for disabled and infirm. Took a lot of effort and two days to find room, closest lift to it, ramps and underground garage. Toilets too low and nothing accessible in room or hotel. Staff do not offer information or help it has to be asked for. Do not go unless you are fit healthy and want to use the spa.

Our stay was excellent. A birthday celebration with the family who had travelled from the UK. We all stayed for at least one night and enjoyed a dinner together. I was advised by my contact at the hotel to book the buffet. This was excellent with a huge variety of tasty food. Having organised or attended many events at hotels in the past I found, by comparison, the staff at the Thalasia to be very professional, efficient and friendly. At checkout even the bill was correct! The whole family had a wonderful weekend. Thank you.

Check in was okay, got charged an extra €5 to park car! Went to room, was dated and tired and crying out for a refurb. Shower cubicle sealant black and mouldy. Lampshades on bedside lamps rusty and even the 2 cups didn't match!
Receptionist told us to use our room towels for the pool because she didn't have any left!
Not enough beds around pool.

The hotel is great the facilities are good. We stayed on bed and breakfast basis and could not fault the selection at breakfast. Room was good and cleaned to a good standard daily. You really do need to hire a car to get the full benefit of the area, as eateries are just a bit far to walk. Overall would definitely recommend.

Spa spectacular Hotel just to sleep in.

The hotel was ok for one night, the room 4th floor had terrible fumes coming from outside could not sit on balcony. No coffee in tea & coffee facilities even after asking twice, and told would send to room (did not Happen) the wall had a hole init, burn marks in furniture a bit run down. BUT clean bathroom, beds and linen where spot on. The breakfast was not so good for a vegetarian, the fruit was either tinned or unripe, so only had courgettes in tomato sauce and sliced bread!! Do not pay extra for a breakfast unless you like omelettes. What was good was the hotel outside pool and bar and the spa and all its services (The reason why I booked a return) The staff where knowledgeable and attentive, make sure you go to the morning sessions so calm and less busy and book your one free session of therapy's on offer on arrival or you wont get in. Bike hire is good easy ride off road down to nature reserve or mud flats (has to be done)

We were given a lovely room on the top floor looking out across the town towards the large church. The reception were very helpful during our stay even though we spoke very little Spanish. Most of the guests were Spanish.
The hotel is very modern and is spotlessly clean. We had breakfast buffet included which was very good.We were out most evenings but when we did have dinner in the hotel it was a good buffet and the price was only E21 which included unlimited bottles or glasses of wine including Cava. It is very Spanish. . I would recommend this hotel and will probably visit again.You do need a car to get to the better beaches at Torre or El Mojon. and it is useful to have a car anyway.as the hotel is not near town center. Murcia Airport only 15 minutes away..

Lugar acogedor para toda la familia

Habitación doble estandar, vistas al pueblo. Dos camas grandes juntas. Balcón amplio con sillones cómodos y una barra de acero para tender lo justo y necesario. El aire acondicionado se desconecta solo si se abre el balcón, pensando ecológicamente.
Fuimos para una noche y nos quedamos dos más, esta vez en una habitación con salón, tv mesita y sofá cama, y la cama en zona apartada. Muy bien pensado si alguien quiere ver TV, y otro prefiere dormir. Las camas igual de enormes que la anterior, vistas lateral y al fondo el mar.
Nos entraba desayuno tipo buffet muy variado con churros y chocolate incluido. Entraba el acceso al spa, zona piscinas. En definitiva relación calidad precio todo ok.
Una sola pega si no has reservado comida y cena con la habitación, cada bufet cuesta 29€, cierto que es muy variado y mucha cantidad pero para quien se apaña con una ensalada, o una pizza, no sale rentable.
En el chiringuito de la piscina estaría bien la opción de burguer, pizzas, sandwiches, la clientela nos vamos a los bares cercanos buscando otras opciones.

Buono ma non eccellente, altrove sono stato meglio

Soggiornato a dicembre 1 notte. Premetto che rispetto ad altri hotel 4 stelle prenotati in Andalusia ho speso qualcosa in più e questo mi sembra il meno eccellente. All’arrivo in camera omaggio di 2 bottiglie d’acqua da 0,33. La colazione è ottima per qualità e varietà dolce / salato. La sala è grande ma, per il numero di clienti, molto rumorosa. Il parcheggio esterno per l’auto si trova in un’ampia area pubblica di fronte dell’hotel, che è comunque dotato di un parcheggio interno se non si vuole lasciare l’auto fuori. I materassi sono ottimi e la pulizia in camera e in bagno mi è piaciuta. Nelle parti comuni l’hotel è pulito, carina la piscina (normale che a dicembre fosse chiusa). Abbastanza moderno l’arredo sia in camera che esternamente. Climatizzazione invernale ad aria ok. Tv grande (no canali italiani). Ho apprezzato il balcone con tavolo e sedie. Wi-Fi efficiente. Nel bagno è presente un bidet, accessorio raro in Spagna. Belli i tavoli sportivi da tennis tavolo, calcio balilla, tutto buono nel complesso ma niente di entusiasmante, lo dico perché altrove da hotel della stessa categoria 4 stelle (Elche, Mijas, El Puerto de Santa Maria) ho ricevuto di più come servizi e cura della clientela inclusa nel soggiorno, spendendo anche qualcosa in meno.

Tube una incidencia con la reserva y el hotel me la resolvió excelentemente no puedo decir lo mismo de hoteles.com que me iban a decir algo en 24 horas y ha pasado 4 días y estoy esperando respuesta que entiendo que no me la darán, muy .ala resolución por parte de ellos
