It doesn't get more central than Hotel Antico. I was astounded to walk out, turn right and find myself immediately in the main piazza. This meant I was incredibly close to everything, especially places to dine.

Half way through my 10 day stay, I was told I would need to move to another hotel because of scheduled maintenance. The next hotel, owned by the same people, was much nicer and had more food services, so I am not complaining about this move. It was just unexpected.

We enjoyed our stay at the Antico. Perfect location and nice enough for the money. The breakfast was really nicely done and the staff were very nice for the most part. The check-in process would have been easy except that we had a car. When I booked they assured me that they had parking. In reality they have two parking options. The first required that the car moved away from the hotel between noon and 5pm everyday. The other option was to park in an area that was around 6 or 7 minutes away. This is the option we chose. Everything would have been 5 stars if they really explained all of that beforehand. It would have been better had they explained where to put your car while you are doing the check in process. This is not obvious. We ended up parking in front of another hotel for 30 minutes before moving the car to the other parking area. Except for that the location couldn't be better and everything else was great.

This hotel is in the very centre of Vincenza, yet quiet. My corner room was large and delightfully old fashioned. The breakfast was excellent. The staff I met were so helpful and friendly. I would stay no where else in Vicenza.

This hotel is only 30 steps from Piazza Dei Signori….the central square. The room was clean, quiet, and air conditioning worked great. Parking is not available on site but the staff coordinated with their sister hotel to provide parking only a five minute walk away. We will stay here again!

Beautiful friendly staff. The location is ideal. The room was a good size but the bathroom door didn’t shut fully and it made the room very chilly, the cold marble floor is uncomfortable to step onto in the middle of the night, a rug would solve that problem, the shower recess is very very tiny. The breakfast service was beautiful. The staff made it an enjoyable stay

A very central location yet surprisingly little street noise. A particular request I had for extra seating was taken care of with no fuss. Well stocked minibar and pleasant room. The breakfast is serve-yourself and a little limited in a small seating area but it works because the food on offer is of good quality and the staff excellent in their attitude and helpfulness.

The hotel is near a major square so there is hustle and bustle until midnight. Then, it quiets a little. Don't get a room on the fourth floor. There is a fifth floor balcony and you will hear people coming and going. On the positive, you don't need to wander far for food or shopping!

This centrally located hotel is welcoming and well appointed. The room was very comfortable, breakfast varied and ample, and the staff very helpful. Internet service was good. There is a great view from the rooftop. Umbrellas at the door to be borrowed helped keep us dry in the unanticipated rain. And wonderful art throughout.

We loved our stay at Antico! All of rhe stadd was so helpful and very professional. They even kept our bags for four days while we went to Rome! The breakfast was wonderful and delicious. The only thing we had trouble with is keeping the heat regulated in our room but we just opened a window! Shower was small and a bit difficult to maneuver but at least they have a shower! We lovef it there and we will be back!

We arrived in a car and it was a bit of a challenge to find the hotel inside the walls of the city. But LOVED the location and the hotel staff were wonderful and took care of parking our car! Free!

They have a rooftop bar but we were too late in the season to get to enjoy it.

Right in the heart of old Vicenza; 10 seconds from Piazza dei Segnori and Palladio's basilica and 1 minute from the Duomo and a largely carless area. Hard to find; our GPS had a meltdown and couldn't find it! No parking at the hotel but there is parking 5 minutes walk away. Definitely a city worth visiting and a hotel worth staying at. Very helpful staff and a good breakfast.

3-Day Stay to Roam the Veneto
The Antico Hotel Vicenza was a great place to stay for our Veneto experience. It's ideally located in the heart of Vicenza, making all sights in the historic center of this lovely city easily walkable, as well as a variety of excellent restaurants. Our bedroom was not snazzily decorated -- but very comfortable. The bathroom appeared to be newly renovated and served us beautifully. Breakfast was also good. Most of all the reception staff was always gracious and helpful with reservations (don't miss the Scrovegni Chapel in Padua) and other requests. The only difficulty we had was getting to the hotel in our rental car -- it's deep in the city's pedestrian-only zone. Once you've managed to get there however, the staff can explain the \"right\" way to go (perhaps they could send a map ahead of time to arriving guests?), and that worked perfectly for our goings and comings from then on. Overnight parking (from approximately 5 PM-10 AM) is also available for free on an adjacent street. With all our walking around we didn't see anywhere else in town we wished we'd chosen.

Our stay was comfortable and safe. Everything was convenient to the major sites by walking from the hotel including the restaurants. One disappointment with our room location was on the Friday and Saturday night we were there even with our windows closed we can hear the loud music and peoples voices coming from the plaza as the hotel was near the Piazza de Signori which is the major plaza in Vicenza. This noise will last till midnight. The TV only has Italian language. No English Channel.

Location is magical, especially with historic architecture in town square lit at night. This zone also is in the heart of the pedestrian zone - walk in, especially on Sundays. Parking is a walk out of the zone and can necessitate a wait for a space in the designated area. Hotel opened a little over a year ago, with modern amenities, while keeping the \"antique\" history.
