Our room 104 was very warm when we arrived. However, as our stay progressed, the room cooled off a bit better. However, we did enjoy the size of the room and also the roomy bathroom. The desk staff was very helpful and informative. NOTE: If you need to buy euros with Americsn dollars, go to the post office across the street from hotel, less that 5 minutes away.

Hotel Campo Marzio is the only place I’ll stay in Vicenza. The staff is awesome! Everything I needed, day or night, they provided. They even helped by making phone calls for me to find yoga studios and see if restaurants were open for me. The accommodations were excellent. I got the cheapest room available because I was traveling on a budget, but it was spacious and comfortable. I’m sure that the more expensive rooms and the suites are truly luxurious. The breakfast was awesome! I filled up on great food and the staff served me tableside with whatever great espresso drinks I requested—and I requested a lot of drinks!

Travelers should be aware of a potential scam that the property is running. While there, I requested the use of an iron and ironing board. Later, after I completed the ironing, the accused me of damaging a bedspread with the iron. I am sure I did not place the iron on the bed spread - they showed me a photo of a bedspread with an iron mark. They charged me 200 euros!!!! I said it was outrageous and they threatenind to call the police. In the end, I was running late, paid the fee and moved on. However, I think this might be deliberate scam - if you stay here and request the iron/ironing board and this happens - be aware.

A decent if somewhat dated hotel, no more than three stars in my opinion. Breakfast was disappointing, with stale baked goods. Hotel is close to the station so the surrounding streets are a little sketchy, but still convenient as it’s only a few minutes walk to the center of town.

This is a lovely hotel, the best room in a 4* hotel with a nice seating area. A large and comfortable bathroom. The hotel is about 2 mins walk to the historic center and 4 mins walk from the train station. The hotel does not have a restaurant but the bar will make a sandwich if needed. Deliveries are also available at Just Eat Italy. As for accessibility - quite good for disability scooters. The staff always very helpful (it’s Italy after all).

Great base in Vicenza

Brilliant place to stay in Vicenza. We parked at the hotel which is just around the corner from the centro historico so we had easy access to all the shops, cafes and restaurants on and around the Corso Andrea Palladio, the Piazza dei Signori and the Piazza Della Biade. Also only 5 minutes to the railway station with a 45min train to Venice for a day trip. Really helpful and friendly staff, good breakfast and inexpensive Negronis. Would definitely recommend.

Wonderful location in town with easy access to gorgeous sightseeing and good food. Easy to drive to and park. Clean and very comfortable rooms with updated bathrooms. Great staff. Wonderful breakfast with lots of variety. On site parking is an extra charge, but very affordable at €6 per night. Nice and comfortable lobby that can easily serve for a friendly chat or informal meeting.

Like that the room had an AC. Believe the carpet in the hallways should be changed. It looks bland (eh). Had to keep un exiting car to get in the parking area. The room was new but there were several marks on the wall that could have been addressed prior to room being occupied.

The hotel was under construction I understand that but the room are old and is time for renovation the facets were old style so difficult for the water regulation the last floor was closed but you need to used some big display in plastic for construction with sone design (Palladio) to avoid the client see what you doing. The breakfast was good .

The hotel's location is excellent: 5 minutes away from the train station, virtually right in the city centre. The pavement in front of the hotel is uneven making it difficult to roll your suitace. Althought the reception staff claim the refurbishment is long over, it does not seem so. I was not affected by it directly by on some days you could hear noise.

Nice Hotel, Good Location and Service

The city of Vicenza offers pedestrians a pleasant wide boulevard Via Roma as you exit the train station. Large swaths of green parklands, including Campo Marzio lead you to Hotel Campo Marzio, located at the edge. With on-premises parking, a sleek airy lobby with seating areas, a fireplace, lobby bar and breakfast room, the hotel staff was friendly and professional. There was a mix of business and leisure travelers in house and the license plates were from several EU countries. My single room was compact but comfortable with a desk, minibar bedside niche with a convenient plug for charging, a safe and a large well-furnished bathroom with a rain shower and a multi-color lamp for your sybaritic pleasure! Similar to other single rooms there wasn’t a closet, instead there was an open recess with hangers. Satellite tv offered programs in other languages including English and the free internet was reliable and the signal strong. The hotel’s location and the excellent mapping and signage provided a quick route to sites and museums. On check-in I was told there was construction and the following morning at 8am crews were working on installing a stairway down the hall to access the floor above mine which will add a terrace. After the first morning the workers were gone for the rest of my stay. Breakfast was nice and tables set with linen napkins and fresh flowers. The friendliness of the breakfast staff depended on who it was, the gentleman was a professional and enjoyed his work.

Great location, you can walk to the main part of Vicenza in a couple of minutes. Also very close to the train station so ideal really. Some initial confusion with our room was solved satisfactorily and we had a good stay. New room was lovely. Spacious, newly decorated and had a nice feel. Massimo on the front desk was amazingly helpful and always happy and very funny with it too. He made the stay for us, thanks Massimo! Would definitely return.

Excellent value for money (at least at Xmas)

This is a well run hotel that has been recently renovated. During our Christmastime visit, we were given a large room that, besides the beds, had two armchairs in an area separate from the sleeping area. The breakfast (served from 7 to 10) was very good -- buffet-style with a wide selection of sweet and savoury items. The hotel lobby is spacious and comfortable, and everything is clean.

The hotel is a short (5-10 min), easy walk from the train station. It sits just outside the heart of Vicenza's walkable, gorgeous historical centre. There is a supermarket just two minutes' walk north of (further away from the train station than) the hotel.

The only minor complaint was that our room was brightened by the lights used to illuminate the hotel's sign. Thus, we had to be careful to close the drapes fully each night.

We especially appreciated that the staff were willing to give us quite an early check-in (before midday!) although at busier times of the year it might not be possible.

Very comfortable hotel which is most convenient for the train station. We had a lovely refurbished room (210). The en-suite bathroom was especially nice. It's a very short walk to the centre of the town. The breakfast is buffet, with an excellent variety of food. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

I stayed here while I visited my husband who lives on Caserma Ederle. The hotel is close to the train station, which was convenient for me to travel from. The breakfast was wonderful and so was the staff, but the room I was given seemed more like a broom closet than a hotel room. The pictures made it seem a lot bigger. Due to strict regulations of no overnight guests, I was not able to have my husband with me, so I did not spend any time at the hotel.. basically just kept my stuff there. This is most likely my mistake as I was unaware of this rule. Otherwise, the hotel itself was pretty nice.

I just felt that my room was a little tight even for a single person. The bed was not comfortable at all because it was situated at the corner of the room and without opportunity to walk around it! I loved the bathroom though. I thought it was big compared to the sleeping space! The hotel is conveniently located near the Vicenza train station and is an easy walk to the sites. I also enjoyed their breakfast spread...

Hotel is undergoing internal and external renovations, Hotel entry is partially closed and covered, Hotel room corridors are still undergoing upgrading. However, the renovations is suspended at the time we are there, so there are no renovation dust or noise. Hotel room is renovated and modern. Room is very clean and beautifully furnished with new furniture. When the renovation is fully completed, this hotel will be very beautiful and comfortable. Breakfast is good with hot scramble eggs. Location is convenient near buses and old town, paid parking in hotel parking lot.

This hotel is great for the price. Close to the center of town. Many great restaurants well within walking distance. There's a grocery store just feet away. Train and bus station right across the street. Would've been nice to stay a little longer to do more sight seeing. Breakfast was good. It's your standard European continental breakfast. Deli meats, cheese, eggs, pastries and great coffee. If you have a car parking is cheap, €3 a day!!! All together I would say it good.
