The rooms were beautiful and roomy. The staff was super friendly as well. They do run a shuttle to and from the beach and Duval street. The hotel really is nice. Not much to do in the area but plenty to do at the hotel.

We stayed at Parrot Key Hotel & Villas during spring break (March 22–26), and overall, my family had a really nice time. My kids absolutely loved it, and the food was a highlight, everything we tried was delicious and definitely added to the experience.
That said, there were a few issues that impacted our stay.
Our room was noticeably worse for wear and felt a bit run-down, especially compared to my parents’ room, which made the difference in upkeep more apparent. The floors, in particular, were quite dirty and didn’t seem to have been properly cleaned. I requested a room change the day after we arrived and was initially told we would be moved to a similar room. Later, we were told it would be ready after cleaning, but by the afternoon, we were informed that no rooms were actually available. Housekeeping did come by, but the main issue, the floors, remained unresolved.
On our final day, valet misplaced our car key, and we had to wait over an hour while it was located. The staff was apologetic, but it was a stressful situation, especially not knowing whether the key had been lost.
I also reached out directly to the hotel after our stay to share this feedback but unfortunately never received a response, which was disappointing.
Overall, we did make wonderful family memories and enjoyed many aspects of the property, but I do think there’s room for improvement in room maintenance, communication, and follow-up with guests.

This was a very nice higher end resort. It has a friendly staff, is very clean, is well kept and maintained, and has good food and drinks. The four pools with one designated for adults only is also a plus.We had an ocean view Villa, and the view off our back porch was beautiful and usually quiet and tranquil. The downsides, however, were 1) uncomfortable mattress, 2) housekeeping cleaning the rooms up to 6:00 p.m., and 3) being a fair distance away from the high traveled tourist area, like Duval Street. As to the latter, they do offer a shuttle, but it leaves and picks up only at certain times, which leads to a lot of Ubering.

I felt like I was charged for valet that I had no choice but to use, the shuttle that is referred to has limited seating so if you use their shuttle you may get left if there is not a return seat for you and it only runs every 2 hours , one pool was shut the entire time I was there. The bathroom door would not close properly and I had to call the front desk to have them wash the floor in our room because every time we walked across at the bottom of our feet were black. There were four pools on the property one which was right outside of our room. The property was close to stores and a couple of restaurants. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Overall, we had a great time. Would definitely recommend.

I would rate the property of three star. It could be better. The one thing I didn’t notice on my first Barr bill when I walked in as they automatically give you on the bill at 18% tip, but you don’t realize drinks are pretty expensive all over Key West but when you have $100 bill you don’t know there’s 18% included than you tip on top of that I think they should say something but they don’t so that was a problem for me. The rooms are clean but they could use a makeover and I also was told by $50 per night charge was included when it wasn’t so when I checked out, I had an extra $200 bill for Hotel fees, but we don’t know what Hotel fees are

Have stayed here many times. Love the pools especially the adult quiet pool. I am disappointed that I had to call to get our room cleaned. This is the only negative I have about this resort…the room cleaning staff. Everything else is perfect.

We had the quickest check-in we've ever experienced at any hotel ever. Room was huge with a front door and back porch. No noise from neighbors; no thin walls. Bed was comfortable with extra pillows. Room was spotless with not an insect in sight. Parking was conveniently located in front of room. We have always stayed in Old Town and were hesitant to stay at this location. So glad we booked Parrot Key. We found our new favorite place to stay. The layout of the entire property is brilliant. The lush landscaping and four pools provided a relaxing atmosphere. Every employee we encountered at the pool, in housekeeping, and at the front desk was very courteous and eager to help if needed. The pools were comfortably heated for February, and I appreciated having plenty of towels, ice water, and sunscreen provided for guests at each pool that was replenished frequently. We particularly appreciated Daniel at the front desk and Carolyn at the restaurant. Carolyn greeted us with a smile and was attentive and efficient with superior customer service skills. What a well-run place to stay!

We had a wonderful stay at the Parrot Key Hotel while visiting Key West. Our room was very spacious and clean. The staff were extremely accommodating and friendly. Would highly recommend this place if visiting Key West and don't want to be in the high tourist area of Key West. The resort is quite large and in a great location.

Had large room, king bed, small table with one very small, uncomfortable chair. When I requested a second chair the delivered a small, folding, metal chair. No place for two, drinking morning coffee except the bed. When I mentioned it to the front desk, their reply was those rooms only have one chair per room. They charge an extra $50 per night for amenities. But only get one chair? Bring your own chairs! Shower was nice but needs a handrail.

So we never ate at the restaurant again. The room needs work, floor is spongy in spots, the armoire doors were tight and rubbed. For what we paid, it should have been a palace and it wasn’t. Expedia let me down.

The room was lovely very spacious and beautiful but when only staying for one night all the extra fees were a bit much. $30 for parking is a little steep and I had to use valet when in reality there was parking right out front of my door that would have made self parking much easier. I also felt over $50 in resort fees was a bit much as well. I had looked forward to having a nice breakfast before I left however the temperatures at the time were in the 50s with only outdoor seating.

We thought that we were going to have a sandy partial look at ocean view. We had a 2nd story suite with a view of a canal. We also opted to not have our room cleaned each day, but couldn’t get a refill of coffee pods. I asked 3 people and even housekeeping and never got any more. They also have 3 pools that sounded amazing until we found out 2 of them close at sunset leaving the only one by the bar available after that time. So we went swimming in that one and provided entertainment to everyone at bar. It was very awkward. The last day we were there we had a visitor in the room…a cockroach! Since we had to leave early to catch our plane we weren’t able to tell anyone about it. It may be a while before we stay here again. I believe it was way over priced for the misconception of what we were getting for our money.

The resort staff is friendly and helpful. Amazing they have made a tropical oasis in the midst of a heavy thoroughfare and business area. We enjoyed being a bit away from the busy Duvall and seaport area. Our room (King Suite) had water and garden views. L’Occitane bathroom amenities. Attentive house and grounds keepers. A small table and a sitting chair would have been nice to accommodate playing games. I think some rooms we looked at online do. Only had a couch in living room and bed in the bedroom. We brought in the outdoor seats. The king suites and 2 BR suites (which is a lock off on the 3rd floor) require ascending a flight of stairs, although I did see an elevator that may allow better accessibility. The studios are on the ground floor, but still requires walking up 4-5 stairs. There is a shuttle that we didn’t use to get to the beach and old town. Ride-shares are plentiful. The restaurant, for the one meal we ate there, was overpriced ($30 for a full breakfast), service wasn’t very attentive (eggs were overcooked and waitress never checked to ask for me to send them back. I could have tried to get her attention, but she was too busy talking to another employee…we had to ask another person for our check), and 18% gratuity is automatically added. Denny’s is across the street! Overall it was a great stay, I would highly recommend, and we will definitely stay there again on future travels to Key West (just won’t eat at the restaurant). The room was beautiful spacious and had it's own balcony. There were a few things that could be improved: The carpet had a musty smell, we closed the bedroom door and that helped a lot. The Front desk check out person- Ashley was curt. The upper tiles at the surface of the water in the pools are a little dirty/cloudy. They use leaf blowers too frequently at the resort.

The suite was perfect for our stay with an upper level bedroom (third floor) for our daughter with my wife and I staying on the main level (second floor) that included a living room area and two balconies (water view balcony from bedroom and pool/property view balcony from living room area with photos attached).
