We have excellent service at this hotel! We were late arriving for lunch and even though they were not serving any longer, they took care of us! The chef himself came out to talk to us and prepared us an amazing lunch! We would stay here again!

The only place to stay in Lorrach 😀

Fantastic customer care and support from the Front desk. Incredibly helpful and kind. It’s a real bonus being able to do your laundry on site. Breakfast is super. Such a convenient location to HBF and a delightful walk to shops and eating places.

Stuff was very kind, respectful and very helpful.
On the other hand, my room was not well kept, behind curtains, floor was with a lot of dust. Room was very hot as AC was not working and somewhat bad scent, the bed was clean and very comfortable.

Breakfast was very testy but you eat on a timer because you will immediately be informed by stuff members that it is exactly 10:30 am. One is free to carry on some breakfast to their room though if they wish.

Very nice hotel and location. Only issues were the WiFi and bed size/layout. The nice lady at the desk mentioned the WiFi doesn’t work with iPhones, which seems odd, but sure enough, did not work with either of our phones, so disappointing if it is a known issue. Also, the bed was pushed against the wall, which made it hard to sleep with an already smaller than normal double bed. Plenty of space in the room for it to be turned another direction.

Excellent Hotel

A great one night stay in this amazing hotel. Took us by suprise when we saw the room. So clean, and organized and we had a good view outside our hotel vindow. It had everything we needed, hairdryer, coffemaker, fridge ect. It is possible to park the car right outside the hotel. We got breakfast included to our stay, all in all a superb hotel with helpful staff!

Excellent hotel & will go back, staff are all friendly & helpful, had a superior room which is better than the pictures show but chose to down grade to a standard room with a balcony which is also better than the pictures show & very comfortable, balcony was great. Dinner from the restaurant was nice & breakfast offers everything you could need. Free transport card is great, I had my car but just left it parked & used the bus & train to black forest, Rheinfelden, Basel, Schaffhausen. Train station is across the road from hotel, City is 5 minutes walk from hotel with lots of nice bars serving food. Dinner & drinks in hotel is fairly priced.

I like this hotel. The location is very convenient for travel. You have to walk a bit to get to the town but this place is ideal for me. The brewery nearby is perfect for food and good quality and cost. Breakfast is a bit limited and expensive but adequate.

Nice but some staff let it down

Clean, comfortable hotel of a very high standard apart from the reception staff who checked us in. All European guests only need an I.D. when they check in but if you're British then according to him, you need to show your passport!

No tea in the rooms but plenty of coffee. If you ask for a tea bag instead of coffee, like I did, you have to pay for it! Never have stayed in a hotel, whether upmarket or otherwise, where they charge for a tea.

Buen hotel, bien ubicado.

El hotel es muy bueno, su personal es amable, además ofrece bobos de descuento para uso del Bahn. Permite mascotas. No obstante, no es recomendable solo por una noche por su precio, sería para descansar por más tiempo. Lörrach está cerca a Basilea y esto hace que se dedique tiempo al turismo y no a aprovechar los recursos del hotel. Sería mejor si el costo del parqueadero estuviera incluído.

Tja, leider ist nicht genügend Personal da, um Restaurant und Bar gleichzeitig zu betreiben. Speisekarte sehr überschaubar und preislich hohes Niveau. Essen muss man, wenn im Barbereich (nicht schlimm).
Bar laut Aushang bis 1 Uhr am Wochenende geöffnet, gehen aber, wenn niemand da ist. Wenn man also um 22:30 am Samstag kommt oder später, steht man vor vollendeten Tatsachen und es gibt keine Alternativen... Ging nicht nur mir so...
Sonntag vormittag dann war kalt duschen angesagt...oder eben nicht duschen.
Sehr schade und das Ganze für 420€ für 2 Nächte...

Habe mich im Hotel, trotz Corona bedingter Einschränkungen, wohlgefühlt. Sehr auber aber preislich zu hoch im Vergleich zu gleich ausgestatteten Hotels.
Bei der Ankunft gab es keine Handtücher im Bad, dies war aber mit einem Anruf an der Reception schnell erledigt.

Alle Hotelangestellte waren sehr nett und freundlich.
Doch bei einem Steigenberger Hotel erwarte ich im Eiskasten wenigstens eine Flasche Mineralwasser mit und ohne Gas.

Alles neu, wunderbar. Service sehr zuvorkommend. Eine viel zu große Stehlampe und ein bequemer aber überdimensionierter Ohrensessel machten das Zimmer ziemlich eng und unbequem. Auch schloss die Badtüre nicht vollständig was nachts den Ventilator hören ließ.

Das Früchstückbuffet hat uns sehr entäuscht. Früher war die Qualität super, wie auch die Auswahl perfekt. Diesmal war das Brot nicht geniessbar. Das Auffüllen der wenigen Lebensmittel funktionierte nicht. Trotz Corona, sollte in so einem super Hotel das Frühstückstück einwandfrei sein.

Excellent hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. We booked a deluxe double room. The room was very large with large bathroom (large shower and separate bath), separate toilet, dressing room and sitting area. Everything was very nice and clean. Very comfortable bed! A closed parking area underneath the hotel is available so your car is safe. Breakfast was very extensive and of very good quality. Would not look for an alternative.

Das Deluxe Zimmer war seehe schön,gross und sauber.
Wir hatten unser Zimmer im 11 Stock richtung Bahnhof. Leider war es auch in der Nacht sehr laut. Der Bahnhof, die Hauptstrasse und viele Polizeisirenen waren das Problem. Leider hat auch die Heizung (ac) nicht funktioniert, weshalb es kalt im Zimmer war. Das Frühstück war ausreichend und lecker.

Wir hatten ein Studio mit Balkon im Boarding House. Gemütlich eingerichtet und Sauber. Leider War die Unterkunft im EG mit einer 2m hohen Hecke davor. Wahrscheinlich hätte ich bei der Reservierung angeben können ein Zimmer im oberen stockwertk zu Wünschen. Aber sonst alles Top.

Tolles und sauberes 4,5 Sterne Hotel & leckeres Frühstück.
Bedauerlichweise war kein Queen-Bett vorhanden, obwohl es so in der Buchung stand.
Es waren 2 einzelbetten, die zu einem Doppelbett waren aber nicht verbunden waren,. Sobald man in die Lücke kam, sind die Betten weggerollt. Daher musste ich die Betten mit der bestehenden Halterung selber befestigen.

Schade fand ich, dass es bei einem 4,5 Sterne Hotel, im Zimmer eine kaffeekapsel 2€ kostet, Sauna zusätzlich 5€ kostet.

The staff were extremely kind and even arranged a slice of birthday cake for my mom who celebrated her birthday in this hotel. The room was very big, we were on the 18th floor with an amazing view over Lörrach. The room was also very clean. The only negative thing was that the beds were very hard and we got a little bit of back pain after a night sleep. But overall it was fantastic and enjoyed the cocktails in the evening.

Très bien.

Deuxième séjour dans cet hôtel au rapport qualité/prix excellent. Bon petit déjeuner (inclus), déco de bon goût, chambre agréable, restaurant plaisant. Bâle est directement accessible par train juste devant l'hôtel.. On peut regretter le parking payant (ainsi que dans presque toute la ville).
