The guest service associates at Panja Resort were exceptionally welcoming, helpful and accommodating. Indeed, they graciously granted our request for a room that suited our needs. The buffet breakfast was delicious and the menu was varied and not repetitive. Our room was clean and spacious. My wife and I had a wonderful and memorable Valentine's dinner at Panja Resort, further enhanced by Simon's serenade in his Kenny Rodgers-esque tone. The servers were excellent and polite. Upon returning to our room after dinner, we were pleasantly surprised to find that the Panja staff had arranged a thoughtful gesture on our bed, using towels and flowers to create a design with the words “I ❤️ U” and a handwritten note on a leaf. We extend our sincerest gratitude to the staff of Panja Resort especially to Shae for making our stay truly unforgettable.

The night we order at their restaurant and the food is good as well. Theres a shuttle going to robinson place to shop. The place is out of town but its beautiful. Our room is clean and spacious.

After several island hopping stops in the Philippines, Panja Resort was the most memorable. I might categorize this property as a medium sized full service hotel. The front desk: Hana, Kath, Joann and Kaye went above and beyond to help us schedule tours and planning. No one ever helped us as much as this wonderful group. I also want to acknowledge Kat in the restaurant. She extended superior customer service despite not the best behavior of our 2 year old. She is truly a special person. Thank you everyone for the stay.

Staff were super friendly, always ready to help. For example, the maintenance worker and security guard informed us that we had a flat tire, they then filled the tire with air for us. Before I could get it fixed, it was flat again. I asked the staff if they had a car jack so that my husband can place the spare on, but they did it themselves without hesitation. I would highly recommend staying here while visiting Puerto Princesa City.

I have rated them several times and I don't want anyone to think I'm a bit posting 5 star reviews to pack this place.i spent 3 nights last week there and 3 nights in a sad place on the beach of El Nido. Simply put 2nd time I a year I stayed a week in Palawan. So simply next time I go I will stay the whole week at panjy. Can't find anywhere else with all it has to offer.

I stayed here in April 24 with my fiance, we came back cause this place is a gem and very reasonable price. It's not on a major roadway but accessible to anywhere. The pool is incredible, views are awesome, there's some farming on the site. Rooms are nice and great beds and pillows. If you don't give this place a try, well you areissing out.

The hotel is good for a short stay. My room had all types of bugs to include bed bugs. The female staff needs training on how to interact with solo female guests. They kept staring 😮. I guess their way of seeing if you can afford the bill, they asked, where's your husband ❓❓I was asked that question a lot in the Philippines, but it was very noticable at this hotel. I found it interesting that the male staff were more comfortable serving and being in my presence. The experience made me feel as though I was in a mere 3 start hotel versus a resort.

It's off the main roads but minutes away from them. It has a view to die for. The staff as most of the Filipino people are, well just super polite and gracious. If I go back to Palawan I know where I will stay. Worth a visit and you'll see why, plus the food and breakfast is incredible not to mention the rooftop bar and beautiful swimming pool.

Incredibly disappointed with our stay. When we arrived, despite having a confirmed booking they didn’t have enough room for our entire stay. Housekeeping didn’t visit our rooms unless specifically asked, building works going on at all hours, transfers given away, and awful communication. The staff was nice but unable to help at most occasions, due to poor management. I would not stay here again and would urge other to never stay here to avoid stress and disappointment.

The property is very nice, but has potential to be better. It needs a western manager to come in and take over operations for a little while to increase efficiency of the staff as well as the training of the staff. The staff were very friendly and helpful, but just didn’t seem to have the training to know how to make the operation run smoothly, and to help generate more income for the hotel.

What I loved the most about the hotel was it’s beautiful scenery! Mountains, ocean and flowers, a real paradise. My only recommendation would be to add more comfortable seating options in the room and outdoors so it’s possible to sit and relax with a book. The Panya Resort is an excellent place to stay. It is a little outside Puerto Princesa, but for me, that was great. The surroundings are lovely. The restaurant is quite good, and breakfast is included.

The staff are friendly & helpful. We were able to easily rent scooters for 48 hours & used them to get to a dive shop for fun scuba diving.

If I end up coming back to Puerto Princesa, I will certainly stay at the Panya Resort again.

I was so pleased with everything.

2022 family vacay at Panja Resort

It's our 2nd stay at Panja Resort. We like coming back here because of its location,away from the busy city and surrounded by beautiful nature. The resort's cleanliness also attracts us to come back, clean rooms, sheets, towels, bathrooms, everything! We also love the food here because it is very delicious. Staff are excellent people, they are very accommodating, friendly and respectful. Even the owner extends his assistance when he can. We appreciate their kindness to our family, specially when they gave us complimentary hot lemon juice with honey and cookies when they fetched from a rainy trip. Moreover, we highly appreciate that they did not charge extra for our early checkin. We will surely come back Panja because we love it there😊💯💙

The views are amazing like everyone has said but the hotel is no 3.5 star , the pool is nice but limited seating , and chairs at pool are not comfortable, the beds are hard and they have no king size beds , there is no hand towels or face towels, and the bathroom sink looks like it was put together with ply wood , the carpet is dirty , and needs to cleaned or removed, the ac works well , and the fridge is nice , they have free shuttle but only to mall or airport , they need to add more places for drop offs, this hotel is far from town so or rent something or you are stuck there , there is no Uber, or grab, here in Puerto Princesa, the breakfast was terrible we had breakfast around 9:30 and it was always cold , this offer Asian breakfast mostly, and when the food is cold yuk , the have shavfing dishes but they don’t turn them on , the staff are matter of fact , there is nothing to say special, most don’t speak English and they don’t try to make you feel at home , over all lots of other places to stay this place is a miss,

Clean, quiet place with a nice pool. Nice views of mountains and Honda Bay.Staff are great. Food quality is sub-par to be polite. Ordered sausage alfredo and it had no parmesan cheese and was bone dry! They ran out of pizza! Burgers are big, but overcooked and dry. Not really sure what the meat is. Wish the place had microwaves so you could cook your own food. Not convienient to any shopping! But, that's why it's quiet. Not a place for children in my opinion. Nothing to do but watch TV. The so-called bar is a joke. They didn't know what a martini is! They can mostly give you straight booze only with a very limited mixed drink selection. I ordered a classic margharita that was gross looking and tasting. They used table salt to rim the glass! Hope this information helps someone.

The hotel staff went out of their way to accommodate our request for special meals. Rooms and common areas were very clean and well maintained. Surrounding area was very quiet and peaceful. Food was excellent with a number of options even for vegetarians! We suggest though that whenever possible they reduce noise such as hammering in order not to disturb the guests on the lower floors.

what a beautiful hotel and great food in the restaurant. People where very nice to us in everyday. This hotel is far from the town but has a shuttle service to the mall that is very convenient. Welcome drinks where delicious and the bar 360 on the top of the hotel has awesome cocktails to try and cheap.
The WIFI service is not the best, very slow and you only can use it in your room, rarely I had signal in the restaurant or pool. We stayed in room 201, A/C was not getting cold much, we didn't address this w front desk or anybody because we only stayed two nights. The refrigerator was not working either, this is a eco friendly hotel so while you are out on tours your A/C and everything inside will not work(electric), they have this key ( only one) that will turn on everything for you, but if you are out everything is off.

A hidden gem of Palawan

Myself and 2 other friends stayed at the Panja Resort for 6 days after touring some of SE Asia.

The hotel is kept in its own private and VERY scenic area of Palawan away from the downtown commotion. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful and greeted you on every occasion of seeing you. The hotel is a medium sized hotel, with fair amount of ammenities such as a pool, bar, spa services, free shutttle to the airport and downtown at selected times.

The hotel was kept in a clean state and the up keep was continous, staff were attentitive at all times and pleasant which maintained the hotel's peaceful vibe.

For any travelers wishing to stay at the hotel my only caution would be that travel time to\from downtown is 20-30mins and food preparation can take longer than it should...or least this was the experience for my group.

Aside from this Panja is a hotel I would stay at again and recommend to anyone as they will surely enjoy their stay.

This place is amazing! The staff gave exceptional service & were so kind. I recommend doing the spa they give you coupons upon arrival, so worth it! A breakfast buffet every morning is included! They have a restaurant the food is okay depending on what you order and based off your taste buds. Although the resort is in the middle of nowhere it does help that they provide shuttle service and assistance with your packages for the island. I would definitely stay here again if I ever came back to the same place! Very friendly and a safe area!

This resort was amazing! The staff give you exceptional service. The food is okay some things aren’t that great but some are good depending on your taste buds. They include a free breakfast buffet every morning which is nice. Cleaned the room every day. The spa was a must they did great it was very relaxing. They offer free shuttle to and from the airport and different packages you can purchase to do tours which came in handy because there is really nothing to do near the hotel it’s in the middle of no where which is the down side of things but they make up for it with all the opportunity to use the shuttle service to get around! I would definitely recommend staying here if you’re visiting for a few days it’s very cheap and the area is safe!

This is a very nice hotel. The food was excellent. The property was very well polished and housekeeping were very attentive and responsive. Front of house staff were all helpful with good attitudes. Almost everything was 10/10 for us. Pool very clean but a little bit deep. It is 4-5ft deep to one end. Views from our room outstanding. Loved the room and the stay. We will be back here next time. Only small downside - The room (315) has some small decor issues and a bulb was flickering above the TV but was missed by housekeeping. I rate this hotel a very nice 9.6 out of 10.

A luxury oasis with a few rough edges.

Located on a quiet hill, with a dramatic view over the forest and bay (the distance from town may be a plus or a minus depending on your preferences). Large rooms, well appointed. Good buffet breakfast. Numerous spa services which I did not sample, though the general staff were wonderful. But a lot of small-to-medium irritations, like the tub being placed so that you can't stand under the shower properly. And the property is starting to show signs of inattention to maintenance.

Front desk staff need training to do their basic job. We called a day ahead to make sure that we will have a pick up at airport, but apparently the staff forgot to tell the driver. And I try to call no one picked up the phone. After 30 minutes they answered and asked me to take a taxi and they paid for it ( good). The spa service prices are out of this world 5 times higher. The tour service advertising prices but when you want book asked for higher prices claiming those were old prices. TV didn’t work and I informed the front desk 8 am was back 9 PM and wasn’t fixed.
Other than that, rest of staff always smiling and rooms are nice and clean.

This hotel was BEAUTIFUL with incredible views of the jungle and beach! The infinity pool was lovely and further added to the hotel aesthetic. The rooms were large, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast brunch was extensive and delicious. The spa was FANTASTIC, really one of the best massages I had in the Philippines at a great price! The free airport shuttle was a convenient perk. The hotel is a little removed from Puerto Princesa proper -- which was perfect for us but may be less ideal if you really want to tour the city. I would definitely stay here again on a return trip!

**Do NOT do the Fireflies Tour that you can book through the hotel! It was TERRIBLE, a tremendous waste of time and money for a very short dull boat ride and a lame view of few fireflies. This tour was truly the only part of my stay at Panja that was extremely disappointing and infuriating!

amazing place.
great pool. nice rooms. stunning view. super nice staff. starting from front office to spa, restaurant, housekeeping and drivers.
wi-fi is great. streaming netflix worked perfect. could even download movies for the upcoming trip.
i liked that it’s a bit secluded cuz it’s quite. free shuttle service to robinson mall. if the schedule doesn’t suite you it’s easy to rent a scooter. where i did this they even bring it to the resort and pick it up there for no extra charge.
the food is great and prices are reasonable. no reason to bring anything from outside.
had great massages at the spa.
free pickup and drop off from the airport which is just 15min drive from the resort.
best hotel i’ve been at the philippines.
will come back at anytime.

We had a great stay at Panja Resort, the pool and the view was breathtaking. It is a peaceful place to relax for couples. The rooms are modern and facing the amazing view of Honda Bay. Breakfast buffet is good, had a decent selection of food but you have to order the main ones and they will cook for you fresh and hot, which I prefer. The coffee they got is the best I forgot what it's called it was recommended by one of the staff. Speaking of the staff, they're all courteous and polite which is really expected of Filipino hospitality. The free airport shuttle is efficient with the driver Mark, who is very accommodating when I saw my fav native sweet banana on the way to the hotel, he made a uturn for me so I can buy a bunch, we don't have those in Sydney 😄. They also have a scheduled shuttle to the town centre which we really used when we had a night out and came back to the hotel late.The driver waited for us and also stopped along the way so we can buy stuff at a mini grocery. All in all, we had a lovely experience at Panja Resort. Keep up the good work guys! Highly recommended!

Panja a great retreat away from the city

Being low season Panja was offering some really good last minute deals, so we had the pleasure of a very relaxing resort at a great price.We knew the resort was 18km out of town but tours all pick up from the hotel and there is a courtesy bus running regularly down to the mall or free to and from the airport.

Pros
- Great price in low season
- Stunning view over Honda Bay from the elevated hotel location
- Well kept, clean and stylish resort
- Good swimming pool
- Rooms are very adequate and good size

Cons (nothing major to worry about but a few minor points)
- Wifi is available but very rarely worked in our room
- Breakfast is very average and boring
- Dinner menu is very weak and you are unlikely to eat in more than once
- Isolated location but this also makes it peaceful

Great view, not a huge amount to do here.

Hotel was fine. Useful if you’re visiting for a couple of days and would like a hotel out of the way. In terms of facilities, it wasn’t as luxurious as it looks online. Food was good, same menu. Breakfast okay. Wouldn’t recommend a prolonged stay.

We enjoyed our stay at the Panja Resort. The hotel was in a quiet setting, the rooms were very nice and clean, the view of the outside setting was beautiful, the food was delicious, the staff was the best as far as service and I would like to thank Iah at the front counter for her help, James in the restaurant area, and Glen for his driving us to Robinson’s Mall. I would definitely come back to this hotel anytime.

Exceptional service from all staff from check in to check out. Drinks were reasonably priced while food tended to be be a bit overpriced and small portions were the norm. Room was spacious but cheaply decorated with fragile and weak chairs and tables that we put together out of a box known as knockdown furniture. The beds were the worse I have ever experienced being literally hard a a rock with no comfort whatsoever. The ceiling of the room apparently was the victim of a food fight with different colored splash marks from liquid or food products. There seems to be an insect problem throughout the hotel and especially the rooms where you sleep but you are in the countryside and hard to control. Location is far from attractions but they do have free drop off and pick up service throughout the day. The hotel has a new modern look and a lush tropical setting with spectacular views of a mountainous region and of Honda Bay where most people go for tours. The outstanding staff make a stay here more than worthwhile but the beds do need to be switched out for better comfortable sleeping. Food quality is good but simple for the price charged. Breakfast is buffet style and if you get there by 7am you have a better chance of a cleaner more desirable looking buffet table as it gets extremely messy from sloppy and careless guests. Let me point out it is a Korean owned hotel in the Philippines and caters almost exclusively to their own people as I witnessed first hand.

I am a traveller and this hotel is way below the standard of resorts. Bathroom full of insects always and can be on the beds as well. The carpet is very old and dirty. U have to wake up with sunrise because the windows cant block the lights. Beds not comfy at all (hard). Breakfast not a lot of options (not even cheese they have on breakfast). The rooms needs upgrades and look overused. Not close to the city. The picture on the website doesnt look as the reality. All i can say staff is excellent and every thing else 180 degree the other way around.
