Great little find within the old part of the city, walk easily shops and plazas for restaurants etc.
Quirky old unique boutique hotel, young lady at checkin spoke English.
Managed to find Free parking outside the door.
Castle and parks all within walking.

Breakfast could be little more choice and especially some fruit offerings.

Lots of stairs but we were fine with that.
Great value for the money

Out of 8 very nice hotels we stayed at during our motorcycle trip through France, Belgium, Luxembourg and Germany, this was our favorite. Great location in the town, secure parking for our motorcycles very friendly and a wonderful quirky room with a much needed spa. Bathroom was extremely nice and super clean. We will always book here first.

We had the misfortune to stay on the most uncomfortable night during the recent heatwave. The hotel did not have any proper air conditioning - simply a plug in unit that was not adequate to comba t what were admittedly rare extremes of heat. Consequently we had very little sleep in the very comfortable bed. The breakfast was good but our lasting memory will surely be the hostess, who greeted us and looked after us throughout our stay - from helping to carry our luggage, caring for my friend with mobility issues, and generally being a perfect hostess. She is a credit to the establishment and deserves this recommendation.

Rubbish Hotel, spa is a joke, rip off. Worst Hotel we stayed in this year! The chickens pecking around the “spa” (in reality a jacuzzi ) in the garden (overgrown) were a low point.

My short stay in boulogne

The hotel was perfectly located near bars and restaurants aswell as a short walk to the beach and the brilliant aquarium. The walled old city is beautiful and has lots of amazing restaurants so you are never short of options. Le Marvaux was a particular highlight. The owners of the hotel were nothing but lovely and did everything to make our stay wonderful. The hotel was rustic and really lovely. They even have afro chickens in the back garden. All in all it was a lovely stay in every way would happily go back again right now.

Beautiful French home, high ceilings and extremely comfortable, the breakfast was clearly all fresh ingredients and was delightful. A fabulous location in the centre of everything and within walking distance of all the attractions. Hosts were lovely and hospitable and spoke to us in English which was really lovely (but much to our shane that we didn't speak very much French!)
It was an extremely quiet place with lots of lovely restaurants around.
We would heartily recommend staying here and will go back ourselves some time in the future.

Wonderfully Friendly and Relaxing Stay

Lovely Hotel and stay. Owners are so friendly and go out of their way to help. Definitely would visit again and recommend to others.
Outside of hotel doesn't look much but inside is lovely, relaxing and has a boutique feel.
Would bring own pillow as cushions on bed are not the same as UK pillows.

This is a lovely family run hotel, in the classic French provincial style. High ceiling, big spacious room and large comfortable bed. It's charming, and a perfect stopover before the channel tunnel. Boulogne itself is a great place, so much better than Calais, and this hotel is well located to enjoy the town. When I was there, France won their world cup match so the atmosphere in town was fantastic. The view from my bedroom of the garden and beyond was beautiful. Breakfast made to order and it was good.

The host was very courteous and helpful and spoke English well. The rooms were spacious, though the stairways were a bit of a hassle with young children and luggage. On-street parking was easy to find within 1-2 blocks of the inn, some of which was free. Easy walking to historic center of town and to several eateries.

Fantastic place to stay

We spent a night in this beatifull place and it was fab! The hosts are great, very friendly and helpful. Room very comfy and sparkly clean and a bathroom with a Jacuzzi bath😍. Couldn't recommend more! There is also an outdoor Jacuzzi in the garden available to guest. Great location right in the centre of town, great value for your money.

A hidden gem!

Wonderful. Don't usually write reviews, but we were so pleasantly surprised with how lovely this place was. We had a really spacious 3-bedroom suite. Stunning period features and proportions, clean and fully functional. Everything you would expect in the rooms - e.g. towels, TV, kettle etc - all beautifully presented. The owner Emilie and family were extremely welcoming and spoke excellent English.
Appearing so modest from the street front door, yet full of surprises at the back: a lovely terrace with hot tub, and a charming \"secret\" garden with trampoline, swings, climbing frame, and a chicken coup. Our kids loved it.
Location was perfect - a few minutes stroll to the walled old town in one direction and the modern town centre and harbour in the other. We had a lovely break in Boulongne.

Da vi kom blev vi taget pænt i mod en service minded pige. Morgenmaden var helt forfærdelig for og service var så ringe at det næsten var helt komisk. Det virkede som om at ham der var der, kun var der for gratis logi og IKKE andet. Morgenmaden var simpelthen så ringe.

Weekend en famille avec nos deux enfants. Suite très grande idéale pour la famille, avec en gros bonus une belle baignoire spa. Le grand jardin avec spa et poules est magnifique, un air de campagne en pleine ville. Super accueil très agréable, bon petit déjeuner.

Un peu bruyant dans la rue mais il y avait un festival pas loin.
Nous avions la chambre familiale avec balnéo. On a manqué de rien. Petit dej impeccable.
On a tout fait à pied même Nausicaa. On peut garer la voiture dans une rue gratuite pas loin du logement .

Nicht nachvollziehbar das es eine 9,0 Bewertung hat. Alles sehr veraltet, Türen,Fußboden,alles knartscht. Badezimmer mit WC extrem klein. Auf keinen Fall,für den Preis eine Premium Family Suite. Zum Glück nur für eine Nacht gebucht.

Een mooie b&b, op een perfecte locatie. De service was heel goed. De staat van b&b is oké, er zijn een paar kleine puntjes wat verbeterd zou kunnen worden. Verbeterpuntjes: De staat van schilderwerk is matig.
Bubbelbad was niet helemaal schoon.
In de hoeken van de slaapkamer hier en daar zwarte schimmel puntjes, dit is natuurlijk goed op te lossen om de kamers wat beter te luchten.

We hebben lekker genoten, ontbijt was heerlijk! We zouden nog wel een keer terug willen komen.

Bed and breakfast de qualité (très !) moyenne

Tout dabord, il sagit d un bed and breakfast, ce que je n avais pas forcément en tete au moment de la réservation.
Dans les points positifs, le personnel est tres serviable et souriant.
Dans les points negatifs, la qualité générale des fournitures et plus largement de l hébergement. Typiquement le linge de lit (et notamment la housse qui ne tient pas au niveau des coins!) Sont de qualites vraiment médiocre.
La porte vous séparant des parties communes a facilement 3 a 4 cm de jour en bas ce qui ne propose pas une isolation phonique satisfaisante.
Par ailleurs, lors de ma deuxième nuit, vers 23h, des gens ont essayé plusieurs fois d ouvrir la porte de la chalbre. Ceux-ci etait perdu et ne parvenait pas a trouver leur porte, les indications qui leur avait été donné etant visiblement mauvaise.
Bref, pas une experience catastrophique mais ça ne vaut pas le prix sur une ville de taille moyenne comme Boulogne sur mer...

Deze B&B heeft een grondige opknapbeurt nodig.
De kamer heeft zijn beste tijd gehad en ook qua properheid en hygiëne is er nog veel werk aan de winkel .
Het pand is enorm gehorig. Je hoort je buren praten , stappen, …
Het ontbijt was sober.
Prijs/kwaliteit niet oké, te duur voor wat het is .
Wel ideale ligging , op wandelafstand van de mooiste bezienswaardigheden.

La baignoire a remous est agréable mais il y a pas mal de bruits une fois le petit matin arrive avec les va et viens des autres personnes, l’isolation phonique n’est pas top. La lumière du couloir se déclenche toute la nuit aussi ce qui laisse passer de la lumière sous la porte, il ne fait pas noir quoi. Le lit est un peu mou aussi. Mais sinon personnel très agréable et à l’écoute lors du PDJ

douche pas pratique du tout, en sous pente, pas de douchette et difficile d'acceder sous la pomme de douche car la baignoire a des cotés en pente qui empechent de s'approcher de l'axe de la douche.
Croissants décongelés avec un gout de\"frigo\"....
Bref! peut mieux faire pour le prix...

Une parenthèse agréable pour petits et grands

Un lieu à recommander. Des conseils precis et efficaces pour preparer votre arrivée. On se gare facilement à proximité. Un accueil tres agréable, bienveillant, souriant avec de très bons conseils ( et precis) sur les activités à mener aux alentours en famille. Nous avons testé la chambre familiale premium. De l espace, du confort et des petites attentions appreciables. De l'eau, thés et infusions, café nespresso à disposition. 2 grandes télévisions, un minibar, des enceintes pour la musique. Une salle de bain confortable avec une douche tres spacieuse et une baignoire SPA facile d'utilisation. Une vue sur le jardin appréciable d'un côte et sur le conservatoire de musique de l'autre. Très calme et tranquille. Juste 2 étages sans ascenseurs. Un espace exterieur propice aux enfants, avec partie \"jardin spa\" avec chaises longues et terrasse, et un 2e jardin avec jeux enfants, cabane et animaux. Le tout tres mignon et tranquille. Le soir, pic nic dans le jardin. Pour le jacuzzi, il suffit de réserver un creneau, des peignoirs (même enfant) sont mis à disposition. Le petit bain exterieur au milieu des fleurs en soirée sous le chant des oiseaux, c est agréable, même si la température extérieure n'est pas très élevée. Petit dejeuner copieux, une equipe à nos petits soins et des produits locaux et de qualité. Oeufs du jardin, fromage local,... cette nuit a été appréciée autant par les enfants ( 4 et 9 ans + bébé) que les grands. Merci pour cette tres agréable parenthèse en famille.

Maison d’hôtes accueillante, chaleureuse et familiale, une équipe toujours disponible et au top. Belle chambre avec baignoire spa, le tout pour passer une bonne nuit. Petit déjeuner complet dans un cadre apaisant sous une verrière où le soleil nous réchauffe. Des hôtes toujours au petit soin et répond à la moindre de vos questions ou demande. Le petit plus, le spa extérieur que l’on peut privatiser.
