The hotel is just 15 minutes away from \"Boulogne-sur-Mer \" Train station. Easy to walk. Quiet area and there's no need to take a bus or taxi. The hotel is just 15 minutes away from the biggest Aquarium.

The hotel had a great family friendly atmosphere. The rooms had everything you'd expect to find. The communal areas were spacious, comfortable and clean. Staff were very attentive.
The restaurant was lovely, maybe there could be a small children's menu for little guests.

The room was clean, cool and very comfortable. The staff were excellent- All polite and helpful and all encountered spoke English. The underground parking at 9€ for 24hr was ideal and secure. I never ate at the hotel but breakfast had plenty of patrons when I passed. The hotel is in a great location for the port and beach. The old town behind the hotel and up the hill is within walking distance. There is a Carrefour in the business centre the hotel fronts.aug 2024.

Location is good for walking into town, restaurants/bars and the harbour.
The parking was a little confusing to get into as visitors with right hand drive cars but was secure once in and also good value.

The reception staff were very helpful and friendly. They made us feel very welcome. The hotel is clean and tidy but the rooms are very small and a bit claustrophobic. The hotel is located at the bottom of a hill up to the old town. It was not a problem for myself and my husband but my parents who are in their early seventies found it a little bit more of a trek. The general area around the hotel is a little run down and there were some people in the area that made me a little bit wary but we did not have any issues.

Our stay was very disappointing. The hotel was completely inaccessible for anyone in a wheelchair or pushchair. The only way to the lobby from the underground car park was via steps covered in weeds. The lift was not working which made it very difficult to manoeuvre our two year old up and down to the third floor, with a buggy and baggage. The room was very small, and the bed for our two year old was a very uncomfortable converted armchair which we had to wedge between the wall and our bed to prevent her falling out of bed. The room was not particularly clean, and was very shabby. The shower sprayed water all over the floor with every use. The view from the window was over a disused car park with teenagers loitering around. Overall a very disappointing stay. Will not be returning.

One night stay with a baby

We stayed for one night. Parking is connected with a bit run down shopping centre and you need to pay €8 per night for it. Tickets are given by the hotel reception. There is a lift going to shopping centre but if you are unlucky to arrive out of shopping centre opening hours, you will need to use stairs.

Once you get in to the hotel, the reception staff is really friendly and go above and beyond to help.

There is a 24/7 bar. There is also small food court. We had a dinner and breakfast there which were very good

Room was standard size, with big double bed, TV and a desk. Hotel reception was very kind to ask if we would like a cot for our baby. It was set up on our arrival.
Room and bathroom were both clean.
The bathroom was equipped with shower
and hair dryer, there were towels and shower gel.

After all quite nice stay.

We were very pleased with the lovely staff but feel the hotel is rather dated! New beds would be nice not added toppers! Room very tight for space and few electricity sockets. TV signal reception of UK channels not working, very disappointing! Excellent refitted shower wet room.

A quick stopover. Everything was good. Lovely staff. Great location and view of River. Nice meal in the restaurant at a reasonable price. A little surprised there wasn't a PowerPoint near a mirror so I could use my straighteners. But a hairdryer was supplied in the bathroom. I would book again.

Really nice, modern feel to the property.
Rooms are lovely and comfortable.
Men's toilets in the bar area are not very clean and are quite smelly ☹️ but that was the only shortfall of our weekend.

From the first \"welcome\" to the last \"au revoir\", this was a superb long weekend.

Reception staff were super friendly and helpful, we ate in the hotel on two evenings and the food was very good value and good quality.

The parking facility was extremely useful as was the direct access to the Liane shopping centre.

The hotel has been totally refurbished since our last visit, which has made a great difference.

Bed was really comfortable and the room was very clean and efficiently laid out.

We will definitely return for another long weekend away.

The breakfast buffet was very nice, there is secure parking upon request, and the hotel has a nifty little back door that opens up to a mini shopping mall containing a great supermarket. Highly recommend this hotel, I won't hesitate to stay here again if I visit Boulogne!

When we arrived there were lots of young people hanging around the entrance drinking beer which did not inspire our arrival, when we got to the room the aircon was not working so the manager said he would look at it, on arriving back from our meal which for my wife was not enjoyable as she choose steak which turned out to be as tough as old boots, we found the air was still not working so we had to have the window open which was very noisey.

Tiny rooms, but well located with friendly staff.

On the positive side, the staff are very friendly, the hotel has been recently renovated, the cafe-bar is cheap and open all hours, it is very near a mini mall and the town centre and there is onsite parking (€8). On the negative side, the rooms are all tiny, so the beds are tight too (an IBIS classic), I found somebody else's hair in shower and the TV wasn't working.
Overall, this hotel is a good, well priced, easily enjoyable bet for Bologne Sur Mer.

One Of The Best

I regularly use Ibis hotel and this one is one of the best. The rooms have been recently decorated, simple dining is possible, there is on-site parking (pay extra 8 euros a night), a bar, a lounge area and walkable access to the shops and restaurants of Boulogne. New Smart TV in bedrooms with 4 or 5 UK channels. Cheerful, efficient and helpful staff. I'd definitely stay here again next time I'm in Boulogne.

The hotel is located conveniently to the various downtown areas, yet far enough away to be quiet. My only complaint was that the rooms were a bit too warm, even with the heat turned off. I slept with the window cracked open, which was fine since the area was very quiet at night.

Now very tired, though the man on reception told us there is about to be a major refurbishment. Bedroom very small, two different-coloured curtains had been stitched together to make one! Old enamel bath had a big chunk missing.
Breakfast buffet had less choice than in the past.

Conveniently located for visiting and Eurotunel

Stayed one night prior to returning to England on Eurotunnel. Excellently located within a pleasant walk to Boulogne harbour and town and very easy access to the A16 to the Tunnel. Underground carpark for 8 euros a night.
My room (223) faced the front of the hotel with great views over the river. Most of the noise came from the seagulls when the fishing boats returned at about 4.00am, but this noise was totally eliminated by the very effective sound-proofing windows (which opened fully with no security or restrictor, very unusual to find on a second floor hotel room).
Very comfortable room and bed. Staff were very helpful and friendly and all spoke English (and French).
For those travellers who are missing Blighty, the room television also has English terrestrial TV channels.
This is a good hotel at a good price. The hotel breakfasts and dinner were excellent and catered for children. There are dozens of other options nearby.

Hotel is well situated for the harbour & town centre. It has secure parking and is good for an overnight stay. The hotel staff are friendly, the breakfast is excellent with a good selection of bread, ham, cheese, fruit, cereals, etc., available.
Our bedroom & bathroom were clean and a reasonable size, but do need updating, especially when compered to other Ibis hotels we have stayed in. However, overall we enjoyed our stay and we will probably use this hotel again.

Have stayed here several times before. Great value for a night away near the Port of Calais.
Nice bars and restaurants only a few minutes walk away and a supermarket attached to the hotel complex makes it an ideal place to stock up with lovely french wines!
