Requested room with a sea view, which it had from a roof window. But you could only see the view if you stood right in front of the window. Not worth the supplement. Plus the noise of the rain on the roof window woke you up during the night.
The bathroom was compact but refurbished and was very good. Room was old fashioned and tired.
Would not stay again.

When we arrived I had to wait at reception for a while as there wasn’t anyone in attendance. There seemed to be only one person who did everything. The toilet in our room was badly stained in the bottom and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned for a long time. I complained to the person on the desk and showed her a photo I had taken. She said she would go and clean it whilst we were out. When we returned it had been cleaned but was still dirty at the back which was visible. The following morning I took a shower, I closed the sliding door fully. When I looked down, the water had completely overflowed and saturated the bathroom floor and seeped out onto the bedroom carpet, so much so we had to use all of the towels to soak it up. When I asked to speak to a manager I was told to send an email.

A practical hotel next to the beach. This is a good option for an overnight stop to rest during a trip to/from the UK. Wake up to a good breakfast and the sound of the sea, then continue your journey. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Overnight stay.

Check in was good, however our key card did not work to open the door, this was easily sorted by receptionist.
The hot was unable to offer an evening meal as they were catering for the Gendarme. As the Hotel is rather out of town, we had to walk quite a way to find a hotel that was open.

Hotel Opal'Inn is just across the street from the beach, which allows for a beautiful view directly from your room if you book one with a Sea View. The balcony in our room allowed us to enjoy a quiet drink looking out onto the beach. The rooms are compact but functional, affordable & clean. All the members of staff I dealt with were very friendly. Although we didn't need it, the breakfast option was also available for a great price.

We were in room 21 next to lift - noisy when people leaving in the morning. Also, when cleaners cleaning they noisily leant their equipment up against our door as they were coming and going - I stuck my head out the door to see equipment right in the doorway blocking our exit. View from window was straight onto a high wall a few metres from the window, and room small. A bit oppressive. No English language TV on our set. We were ok with French, but good to have choice.

Nice hotel with friendly staff. The room was clean but small and simple. The bed was getting towards the end of its life - big dip in the middle. Lovely sea view from the 4th floor. Breakfast was about what you'd expect from a 3* hotel. Nice of them to admit that their dinner was ready-meals so I didn't make the mistake of trying it and went to an OK bar next door.

The hotel its self very modern and clean. But the fire alarm went off at midnight so evacuated as per instrutions in the room. Only to get to the reception to find them saying no fire go back to your room someones been smoking in their room but then they struggled to shut the alarm off. And not what we expected from a non smoking hotel what it clearly says in multipul languages like that alarm killed the trip cos we only had that night and we both got woken up and couldnt get back to sleep.

Unexpected extra night in France

The final night of our two week honeymoon was an unexpected extra night due to complications crossing the Chunnel. We didn't want to stay in Calais so stayed here. We got this last minute booking and it was very straight forward. The checkin staff was very nice and friendly but the room was cramped and right beside the elevator - like literally opened up on the elevator door. No extra pillows available and uncomfortable bed but the remote control blinds were a nice tough in terms of ventilation and closing out morning light.

Nice hotel close to beach

The hotel is clean and the room we had (family room) was spacious although the other rooms were tiny. The bed was fine and the bathroom nice and the decor is modern and pleasant. The beach is right on the doorstep and very nice. We thought breakfast was a bit pricey. Our biggest problem was the temperature of the room. It was SO hot. The room had a door that opened onto a balcony that had steps down to the street. As such it wasn't safe to leave open at night and we no separate window we absolutely sweltered all night.

This is a basic and pleasant hotel. There is no air conditioning, tea/coffee facilities, or fridge. But the bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Being on the seafront and main road makes it very noisy, but if the window is closed this keeps the noise out. However it was very hot during our stay and too hot to have the window closed. So quiet, or cool, but not both at once.
There is free parking on the seafront across the road, which made it very convenient. The staff were pleasant and friendly.

Just an overnight stop before travelling to Deauville. Well situated in front of the beach and a 10-15 min walk from the centre of Boulogne.The reception was very polite and the room clean. The buffet breakfast was ok value for 10€. Parking in large public car park directly opposite.

The hotel location is excellent for people mainly going to the beach at Boulogne; It is also readily accessible for the city centre and the Old Town.

The hotel is however overpriced for the facilities it offers; perhaps the price reflects its seafront location but ultimately I do not think the price charged (at least for the room we had) is value for money.

There was no fridge or coffee/tea making facility; the room is relatively small and the WC is noisy when flushing. There was no aircondition and the outside noise can be irritating with the window open. The breakfast was acceptable but not particularly impressive. TV could have English and/or international channels considering that a decent number of the clientelle is likely non-French - even if French speakers.

On the positive side, the room was still comfortable overall as was the bed and the staff were friendly and helpful.

We were late arriving after twelve but was well received no problem onstage who spoke excelent English

certain members of staff rude and unhelpful when I asked for a kettle or a teapot with boiling water, he handed me a small teapot which he filled with warm tap water which was white in colour and advised me to drink in
only one plug socket in the whole bedroom.

Disappointed with the view as our room was at the back of the hotel which only showed a hill covered with scrubby trees. Though this was a \"non-smoking\" hotel, there was a client directly across the hall from us who was constantly smoking which we could smell seeping into our room. Obviously, the no smoking rule was not enforced here. The street that this hotel is on has very few restaurants to choose from so we were very limited where to eat our dinner. The one plus was that they had a decent breakfast though it did cost 12 euros.

Armoedige plek aan een tweebaans doorgaande weg met een grote openbare parkeerplaats ervoor. Beetje scheveningen. Daarna een deprimerende strandstrook. Omgeving is vreselijk armoedig. Niets te doen. De ‘pitoreske’ haven is in verval. Boulogne sur mer is duidelijk in verval. Aquarium Nausicaa was een bezoek waard. Voor de rest, wegblijven.

Hôtel qui est exactement identique aux photos et à la description du site. Petit déjeuner excellent avec de bons produits ce qui justifie le prix.
La chambre avec vue sur mer est vraiment agréable avec un petit balcon très appréciable.

Direct aan zee liggend. geen overrompeling op het strand. Parkeermogelijkheden waren wat moeilijker ( op een zondag aangekomen). Er zijn parallelstraten in de hoogte waar men makkelijk kan parkeren en via trappen richting het hotel geraakt.
Vriendelijk personeel, nette kamer.
Muffe geur in de gangen , vermoedelijk door overal tapijt(?), Airco ideaal in warme dagen.
Valkbij verschillende mogelijkheden om te spelen ( kids) en uit te gaan eten.
Op een klein 20 min van cap gris nez. Prachtig om te bezoeken!

Hotel bien situé à deux pas de Nausicaa et face à la plage.
Chambre au premier étage à l'arière de l'hotel lumineuse comme une grotte au fond d'un canyon: la falaise est à 2 m de la fenêtre qui donne sur le fond d'une mini cour et il y a des balcons en fer aux étages supérieurs.
Peut être que coté mer c'est mieux mais il y a une route passante juste devant.

Hôtel absolument parfait. Nous étions Vénus principalement pour visiter l'Aquarium de Nausicaà, c'était l'hôtel le plus proche. Le personnel était vraiment adorable, donnant des conseils sur les lieux à visiter. La chambre était spacieuse, le lit vraiment très confortable. Nous avions pris l'option petit déjeuner : il était très diversifié et servi jusque assez tard dans la matinée, parfait pour un dimanche !
Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour dans cet hôtel !

Nous y sommes aller pour une nuit, l'état de la chambre en général \"passe\".
Points positifs : La chambre est spatieuse, il y a une tres belle décoration, une baigneoire, le petit-déjeuner est à volonté, l'hôtel est à proximité de la plage et de nausicaa.

Points négatifs: il y avait de la poussière sur les tables, lampes et prises.
La wifi ne fonctionner pas, la télévision n'était pas très stable quand on la bouger.
La vue ( sur l'issue de secours) n'était pas terrible. Il n'y avait pas de gants de toilettes, et pas de verrou à la porte de salle de bain.

Et pour finir ce qui a le plus retenu notre attention c'est les membres du personnel que nous avons côtoyés n'étaient pas très accueillants, ni sympathiques.

Bon rapport qualité/prix. Bien situé face à la mer (plage principale). Literie confortable et décoration moderne. Chambre avec vue mer. Le personnel est agreable. J'ai apprécié qu'à défaut de pouvoir proposer un buffet petit-déjeuner pour raisons sanitaires, une solution alternative facon \"panier repas\" soit proposée.
Petit bémol l'hôtel donne sur une route fréquentée assez bruyante de bonne heure (même fenêtre fermée).
Egalement le robinet du lavabo est monté à l'envers (eau chaude à droite) ce qui surprend avec risque de se brûler.
Je reviendrai en cas de nouveau séjour à Boulogne.

Aucun avertissement de travaux ni aucune excuse pour le dérangement.
Et sur l'application l'hôtel est reconnu dans les parkings gratuits ce qui est faux. Aucun parking privé pour l'hôtel.

Hotel très bien placé à côté de Nausicaa puisque c'est ce que nous avions prévu de faire et face à la magnifique plage. Buffet petit déjeuner super mais 12€ adulte et 9 enfant trop cher au vue du prix de la Chambre !! Propreté moyenne... chambre classique pour le prix élevé
Par contre pas de parking sauf un payant face à l'hôtel, difficile de s'y garer en arrivant dans l'après-midi, Car déjà plein et surtout payant !!! Petite astuce stationnement, passer Le rond point proche de l'hôtel, un peu après à gauche il y a une Rue qui monte. Dans cette Rue, non payant, nous nous sommes garés Là pour le We.
Que ce soit Le Soir ou surtout Le matin très bruyant les gens ne respectent pas le silence, et personne pour les rappeler à l'ordre.
Si vous aimez marcher, il faut compter une vingtaine de minutes pour aller au centre ville.
Dans la globalité, c'était pas mal mais un peu cher.
Peut-être que l'hôte devrait envisager de négocier qlqs places gratuites sur le parking en face, pour les clients.
