Logement pas entretenu, sale et même dangereux

La villa que nous avions était au delà de décevante:
- à notre arrivée c’était sale, mauvaise odeur et plein de poils d’animaux sur le canapé
- vaisselle sale, verres avec traces de bouche, micro onde rafistolé, fauteuils sales, draps et oreillers tachés
- la grande fenêtre de la pièce principale qui ne ferme pas totalement, on a eu bien froid la nuit
- problèmes de sécurité : les plombs ont sauté en branchant l’aspirateur, les lampes de chevet et plafonnier ont des fils apparents, l’alarme incendie a sonné quand on s’est douchés, pas adapté à des enfants
- les 2 wc avaient les cuvettes cassées
- pas de wifi ni tv qui fonctionne
- le petit balcon du 1er rempli d’eau stagnante on ne pouvait pas y aller, gros problème d’évacuation partout autour de la villa

Property is very close to the beach so it was wonderful for walks. Only thing that we didn’t like was that there is no oven in the kitchen. Also house will benefit from having a bbq as during Christmas time we could find any at the shops. Very quiet area my family had a quality time together. Thanks

Be wary, they overcharge when checking out, AVOID

ONE TO AVOID......

I was not happy, as was overcharged €60 when i checked my credit card.
I booked via hotels.com, and confirmed dates, no. of persons, etc, and got my fixed price for the number of nights, and also the additional charges. Was charged by Hotels.com in advance as standard.

However a few days after checking out, checked my credit card, and was overcharged €60.
I queried this with Hotels.com, and they said as i paid in advance, there was nothing they could do, and i have to take it up with the hotel directly.

I did, and they said Hotels.com should have mentioned all the costs, so not their fault.

No-one accepting blame, but I've still overpaid €60, and have no recourse.
Not happy, will never use this hotel again.

Be aware, once they have your credit card, they can charge what they want.

we stayed off peak season and it was extremely quiet. very comfortable and only few guests. well located for the beach. very peaceful and quiet. would be nice though if there was staff at the site to greet us. keys were left in a safe which we were given the code and then we let ourselves into the aprtment. There were no Wifi at all in the apartments. There was a Wifi signal in reception but it was very poor signal and very slow.

Great location near a lovely wide sandy beach

We know the area having visited on and off over the past 25 years. We went out of season in February as we wanted a short weekend break away from London out of the U.K. that was easy to get to and where getting some good restaurant seafood was possible in the surrounding towns and on the way down from Calais.

If you want sea, sky and aren't too fussed by nightlife, shops and entertainment not being 'on tap' - this is a good base to visit the surrounding area (the coastal resort of Hardelot and the main town of Boulogne are very close). A car is important as your options are increased and, though good from Boulogne, you're then not reliant on public transport.

Although the instructions to get to the apartment read like a Mission Impossible script, they are straightforward once you're there. It was clean, well-furnished and very serviceable: we had a lovely view of the beach from our 2nd floor balcony.

If you happen to like cooking and also don't want to eat out all the time, you might get frustrated with the relatively low tech kitchen and limited utensils/crockery - an oven would be a good addition. But whatever you do, make sure you stop off at the Supermarche before arriving, as shops and grocery stores are very limited in Equihen itself.

Watch out heating-wise: the fire alarm is v sensitive to humidity and as it was cold, we'd had the radiators on and above 21 degrees to keep the apartment nice and cosy; at 4:13am the alarm decided it wanted us to know it existed!

Nice Accommodation's, minutes from the beach

A really good choice if your looking for a place to relax and unwind. Their is absolutely no night life and i include bars or restaurant's, as they dont appear to open before July 1st -when the French Schools finish. But don't let that stop you from venturing out to enjoy the surrounding villages, where they will make you welcome with excellent food and wine.

Great Location, Not too good service

The hotel location is excellent, right next to the beach. 5 mins walk and you will get to the beach. Hotel is clean and tidy. Not too big but enough for 4 people. This villa has very thin wall, we can actually hear people from the next villa walking up and down of the stairs clearly which is quite loud. Also, the second bedroom has 2 single beds but they only supply us one set of bed sheet which is very odd. It's difficult to contact them as they have no onsite office, all you can do is to call their Belgium customer service number.

Short break in Equihen plage

Although this was good I was very disappointed with Hotels.com who didn't supply the right contact information for holiday suites.eu. We didn't have the right email information and the contact tel number was wrong. By chance I discovered the right telephone number in the resort but we were unable to locate the right apartment for some time. I also felt customer services didn't have enough information about this place either. You need to rectify this in the future.

Great location for a short family trip. Sadly the customer service is a little poor.
The confirmation email explaining the Ins and Outs only comes in french, we struggled a little to be fair. As opposed to the email there was no one on site to assist at check in time.

No towels provided, 1 small bit of loo roll left, very remote, not much in the town, after La Torquet, it was very dull. No mention was made of the fact that towels were not provided, beds had to be made up too, for the PRICE 149 pound per night, I would expect towels, my beds to me done upon arrival, the parking bay provided was unusable as the incorrect access key was given. Would not go back.

Great spot for France beach vacation.

The town of Equihen plage is pretty idyllic. These vacation homes are part of a recent development in the area. There are lots of these homes in duplex style. The construction of the homes is a bit cheap feeling (mobile home-ish for the interior), but that was not a negative really, as the views and quaintness of the setting more than amply compensate for it. It is near Boulogne and its fabulous aquarium, and a short drive from lots of Pas-de-Calais and northern Normandy attractions. There was a baby gate on the stairs which was nice. No internet available but there is good cell service. Beaches are amazing by European standards and there is a large public beach with parking 500 meters down the hill. We would absolutely stay there again and would highly recommend it for families or couples. The village doesn't offer a super wide range of dining possibilities or night life of any kind (that I could see), but for a relaxing stay on the beach with and easy drive to cool attractions, to include the ferry to England, I'd highly recommend.

Sehr gut erhaltenes Zimmer; ein paar Sachschäden hier und da, die gemeldet werden mussten, aber ein warmes Zimmer sowie Buntstifte und Zeichenhefte für die Kleinen und eine Umhängetasche zum Empfang waren ein großes Plus.
Meeressicht von der Terasse; kontinuierliche C-Belüftungssystem, elektrische Heizkörper und zwei -- durch das Wohnzimmer getrennte -- Zimmer. Freundlicher Empfang; wir kommen wieder.

Séjour inoubliable en juillet dans une station balnéaire dont nous n'avions jamais entendu parler auparavant. Le complexe est très agréable, tout confort et le personnel tout aussi dévoué que sympathique, très professionnel. L'accès à la plage est aisé et la municipalité est admirablement bien organisée pour vous faire profiter au mieux d'une magnifique étendue de sable. La plage est nettoyée quotidiennement. Le tout est sécurisé par d'abondandes patrouilles de police et de gendermarie ainsi que par les agents de sûreté de la mer (Baywatch) aux aguets qui diffusent des informations pratiques en temps réel. Un autre point fort est l'ambiance familiale et bon enfant. Les touristes y sont très courtois, polis et respectueux. Le logement est neuf, propre, construit avec des matériaux de qualité. Il est calme, bien insonorisé et offre ce qu'il faut pour passer des vacances au top. Bref, une expérience que nous renouvellerons sans hésiter au sein du même village et du même complexe. Vraiment top pour des vacances en famille avec un petit enfant (3 ans). Le calme. Tellement reposant que 3 jours et 2 nuits m'ont fait le même effet qu'une semaine ailleurs. Encore merci pour ce séjour !

Long weekend en famille et visite de Nausicaa

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour en famille. La proximité de la plage et de Nausicaa a permis d'occuper toute la famille les 4 jours de notre présence. Le logement est en bon état général et propre. La réception a été fermée 2 jours de suite ce qui n'est pas très pratique pour découvrir la région mais n'empêche ni le check-in ni le check-out grâce aux coffres.
Enfin, les recommandations dans l'espace Evancy sont utiles et bien organisées.

Nous avons passé un séjour formidable, tant que nous regrettons digne être resté que 4 jours.

L'appartement est suffisamment grand pour 5 personnes, bien équipé, et en très bon état. Et surtout l'emplacement est vraiment top à moins d'un kilomètre de la plage et avec une vue extraordinaire sur la mer.

Enfin l'accueil a été très agréable avec un beau sourire et beaucoup de facilité pour s'installer

Alles in orde. Zeer goed appartement. Foto’s van het appartement stemmen overeen met de realiteit. We waren met 4, 2 volwassenen en 2 kinderen, 13 en 15 jaar, in een appartement van 6 personen (suite van 6 personen). Dus we hadden plaats genoeg. Alles was goed voorzien, beddengoed, handdoeken, badkamer, toilet in de badkamer, kitchenette met microgolfoven en afwasmachine, en living met flatscreen TV. Er is wel geen WiFi maar dat wisten we op voorhand omdat dat aangegeven is in de beschrijving van het appartement. In ons appartement werkte 4G wel heel goed. Dus dat was voor ons de oplossing om Internet hebben. De receptie was heel vriendelijk. Het ontbijt, de avond ervoor te bestellen en ‘s morgens tussen 8u en 10u af te halen, was heel goed. De locatie is dicht bij het strand van Equihen-Plage, wel een stevige helling van en naar het strand. Dit appartement is dus zeker een aanrader.

Très belles résidence, vues magnifiques, très bien aménagée sur tous les plans ( livres dvd, jeu pour enfants, ustensiles de cuisines etc)
Décoration de très bon goût, confort au top. Bémol: ménage fait à la va-vite( restait des affaires des précédents locataires, sable sous les tapis etc) et isolation au vent très limite ( les rideaux se soulèvent avec les fenêtres fermées)

A 10 km d'Hardelot , appartement dans 2 immeubles compris dans un lotissement de maisons. En surplond de la mer accessible par un chemin ou une petite route 15 min a pied avec du dénivelé . Belle plage. Rien autour du lotissement.

Le logement correspond à la description sauf pour la vue sur la mer. Nous étions à 20min à pied de la plage. Le terrain autour du bâtiment trop petit ne permet pas aux enfants de jouer. Je préfère un accueil par un hôte qu’une clé dans une boîte aux lettres. Le canapé blanc est maculé de taches. Je ne pense pas reprendre ce genre de logement.

Logement correct en apparence mais en réalité peu entretenu. Une fenêtre qui ne s ouvre pas. Une autre qui ne ferme pas correctement.
Housse de couette déchirée. Vaisselle à la propreté douteuse.
Pour l extérieur aucun entretien des espaces verts. Dommage car les logements sont grands et à proximité de la plage !
