Small but adequate for a one night stay.

Room was small but clean. The staff spoke excellent Englishand were very helpful. Only downside was the room only had a frosted window near the floor and a skylight in the ceiling so no view of the outside, this was ok for our one night stay but would not like to stay in that room for any length of time.

Nice clean hotel close to the E'taples Mili

Very helpful and friendly staff. We had the set menu for dinner and the food was excellent plus the choice of wines. We close this hotel for the close proximity to the E'taples Military Cemetery which was perhaps .5knm walk away. We walked from the train station up which was about 3.2km away but could have been picked up by the hotel if requested. Would happily recommend Hotel Kyriad.

Excellent for a short stay.

First rate for those wishing to visit the Military Cemetery which is less than 1km away and an easy walk. The ground floor room was quiet and looked out on to grassy area on which a large hare was to be seen. The room was small but contained all that was needed. Food in the restaurant was well-prepared and well presented. The staff were friendly an helpful.

For an overnight stop, travelling south it was comfortable, accessible and clean. But the drains were smelly in my ensuite. I had to keep the window open and the ensuite door closed.
The breakfast was good!

Friendly staff to welcome you.

We've just spent our second visit to the Kyriad hotel in Etaples and as before, we were very happy with the experience.The hotel is good value for money, very clean and the staff welcoming. Rooms are a little small but how much time are you going to spend in your room? The beds are clean and very comfortable. Breakfast is plentiful, with a good selection for everyone.
We stayed at the Kyriad Etaples as it is convenient for visiting Le Touquet which is only a short drive away. There's a large supermarket next door which is helpful if you want to take a picnic with you to the beach. The military cemetary along the road is interesting and worth a visit.
We shall definitely be returning to the hotel for our future visits.

Small room but very clean and functional, BBC1 & 2 on the TV very unusual for a French hotel.
The restaurant is well worth a visit, good everyday food, not gourmet but well presented home cooked food. Breakfast is basic but fine, DIY fresh orange juicer is a good touch. Plenty of parking but a 5 minute walk to get into town, supermarket service station just down the road is ideal to fill up before going to Calais, about a 40 minute steady drive without using the Peage.

Close to Etaples Military Cemetry

We stayed here overnight before visiting the Military Cemetry which is just a one minute drive from the hotel. Our French is appalling and although we managed a few words we were extremely grateful and relieved that the staff were prepared to speak to us in English! Fab food in the restaurant, good breakfast too. Room was comfortable for a night's stay.

A great hotel, really tasty food, though menu is completely in French, could be English translations.

Comfortable beds, lovely breakfasts and close to town.

Recommend the mussels as evening dish, they were remarkable and delicious!!!

As previously reviewed rooms on the small side but perfectly suitable for an overnight stay. Bed comfy, for size of room shower was quite large and bed linen crisp, white and clean. Staff very friendly and our rather large Dalmatian was welcomed which as he is a big dog some pet friendly hotels are not so welcoming once seen! Enjoyed evening meal not gourmet but the price of the food was excellent value. Breakfast had everything to choose from. Would return.

This hotel is easy to get to from the motorway, and is great value. The rooms are compact, but have everything you need and a comfy bed.
The bar and restaurant have a nice atmosphere and the staff provide excellent service. Our dogs were made welcome too

Nice hotel, friendly staff

Booked this hotel as a chance to relax after a hectic Christmas.
The hotel was clean and simple and the staff so helpful.
Breakfast was excellent.
An added bonus was how close le Touquet was which provided a wonderful evening with a lovely Christmas feel.

Hotel was great, staff very friendly and rooms nice and comfortable but the evening meal was a real disappointment, we had read that they hold a Michelin recommendation but don't know how, there was only a set menu and only 2 choices of starter/main/dessert they were all small portions and not very tasty. Would definitely stay again but would eat out.

Good budget priced hotel (if booked on line)

Convenient for Le Touqet or Etaples if you have a car. We booked online and got a good price, breakfast is an extra payment of 9.50 euros per person but was ok in this age of high prices. Staff were extremely pleasant and helpful . Not a luxurty hotel but perfectly adequet for our needs, and no complaints.

good value relaxing break

Conveniently situated just outside this charming little fishing town. The room seemed a bit small but was clean and comfortable. The refreshments tray was replenished daily with tea, coffee and bottled water provided. The staff were all efficient and approachable without really engaging on a personal level. Breakfast was buffet style, eat as much as you like. The French bread was top quality but the individually pre-packed cheeses proved a little tasteless. Overall we would definitely recommend this hotel . Well worth the price.

The hotel is really tired, the front of the hotel has broken concrete kerbs, the gardens have not been tended and the place has an overall feeling of neglect. This was our first stay in a Kyriad hotel and will probably be the last. The bedroom while clean was extremely small and cramped with no A/C, we did not try the food because we had had a meal en-route so can not comment. The location of the hotel for the tunnel etc is excelllent, it only took around 50mins.

hotel hard to find and not in Etaples or Le Tuquet

After driving for 10 hours needed room that was comfortable. The bed was very uncomfortable and the room was very small. The entrance hall leading to the rooms is in need of cleaning and upgrading as the carpets are very stained and this gives a bad overall impression. Also the lighting in the corridors is not sufficient

Weekend Break with Friends

We are two couples who love to visit Northern France which we have been doing for many years. We decided to visit the 21st Herring Festival at Etaples and needed comfortable accommodation at a reasonable price for just one night. The Kyriad is easy to find although about 2kms North of the village but it appears to be a very popular spot and was quite busy during our stay.
The reception staff were extremely welcoming and coped with our Franglais very well, the rooms were comfortable, warm and clean. After our stroll into the village we decided to dine at the Hotel which again we thought reasonably priced. All of us cleared our plates as well as enjoying a palatable pitcher of the house red wine modestly priced at under 10 euros for a litre.
Breakfast is served between 08.00 and 10.00 am and the coffee just keeps on coming with English breakfast tea available if required. The breakfast fare on offer is typically continental and there is an abundance of croissants, endless baguettes in addition to cereals, fruit and all other accouterments that one would expect in France.
Overall a favourable experience that all in our party would have no hesitation in recommending to anyone seeking an excellent small hotel at a really competitive price. Well done Hotel Kyriad!!

The hotel was about 2km from the town, so no nearby cafes or restaurants other than the hotel restaurant (which is open for lunch and dinner but not in between). The room was very small but adequate. Ok for a stopover but would not recommend it for a longer stay.

Clean room but a bit on the small size - but ok for a one-night stay. Good shower room but again not a lot of room. All mod cons work well. Bed comfortable. Only complaints are : the room got very warm at night - so a fan would be useful. The restaurant had good value menu & wine.

Fab hotel...!!!

Wow, fab hotel, staff really friendly and great location for visiting Le Touquet, the beach, shops etc etc. Only 40 miles from Calais and really easy to find..perfect for a short break or stop over on route to other French destinations. Food in the restaurant was beautiful. Rooms are quite small but perfectly equipped and very modern. We will definitely stay here again...fabulous and very reasonable price!

Perfect over-nighter

We travelled by motorcycle and stayed here for one night. It was a bit further out of Le Touquet than we had expected so dined at the hotel. We were pleasantly surprised by the excellent 5* quality food in what is really only a motel - this was definately the icing on the cake.

Rooms are ideal for a brief stop-over, tea making, TV, and shower with shampoo/towels and hairdryer. And squeaky clean.

My wife could not praise it enough and she is a fussy girl

Close to Etaples and Le Touquet!

This hotel advertises itself as the Hotel Kyriad - Le Touquet as you can see! I have to tell you that you can see Le Touquet airport across the Canche estuary but it is outside the small town of Etaples several kilometres away from Le Touquet.
I booked the hotel believing that it was in easy reach of Etaples, but found that I needed a taxi to get to and from the hotel as the walk was considerable (about 1.5 miles) which after a good meal was not so appealing.
The staff were welcoming and pleasant when we arrived - the hotel has been completely refurbished and the room provided was compact but relatively comfortable. The drains required some attention as the odour of the room was masked with air freshener. The design of the refurbishment was rather bizarre, with poor workmanship and attention to detail spoiling what could have been a good room.
If you want to visit the area and use this purely as an overnight stop, the restaurant menu looked good, although there was only one family dining as far as I could see that night.
The hotel represents moderate value for money.

A quick stay on the way to the UK

Great little hotel that provided what we wanted, a nice overnight stay not too far from the Eurotunnel. Clean, comfortable & reasonably priced . Bonus was the the little town of Etaples that has a fishing fleet located there and consequently some lovely seafood restaurants on the waterfront. Will use it again on subsequent trips, just nice to break up the journey, especially for my pregnant wife.

Disappointing stay

Room was very small. Double bed, 1 small wooden chair and narrow tabletop beside bed (+wardrobe in alcove) and not much space to walk around. Had to sit on bed to watch TV etc.
Bathroom OK.
Room very hot and stuffy as we were on ground floor and could not leave window open day or night, and if you closed the blinds/ shutters the window had to be shut as it opened inwards. No air con. No fan.
Noisey as next to railway line and close to local aerodrome (Le Touquet).
We were woken at 3am by man coming into next room and making much noise for +30 mins. When we spoke to reception they didnt want to know, even though I spoke french.
Breakfast Ok but expensive for what there was. No cooked food and juice ran out .
You need transport to get into town.

Great place for a stop over!

We were on our way further south and only stayed for one night so it was perfect for what we needed.... Clean modern accommodation with a restaurant on site and free wifi! If you are after something in either Etaples or Le Touquet town centre though, I wouldn't recommend it - it's a definite drive or taxi journey away! The only other criticism is that the shower leaked all over the bathroom floor but it wasn't a big problem!

Far too small!

Hotel staff very good and both evening meal and breakfast good value-but when the hotel was refurbished they should have knocked 2 rooms into one. My husband and I are both average size but we could hardly move in room! No space for cases and we kept banging into everything. We had just left a very spacious Ibis,just outside Paris, which was 3x size of room and much cheaper. Also we were on lower floor,handy for very good parking, but corridors so dark. Kyriad could have made so much more of this hotel!

Pet friendly good clean accomodation

A great place to stop overnight before getting the ferry back to the UK. Rooms are small but extremely clean and comfortable. The car park was useful to us as we had a boat trailer and it is out of sight of the road. The food was good but breakfast a bit pricey. If you have a pet they are welcome.

The stay was one that I will forget with time.The staff did not speak any english and if they did, they would help.This, being disabled (walking sticks)made my life very difficult. The room was so small I could not move around. It was completely unacceptable. Other rooms were just the same. I know people will say/think I should have requested a disabled room, well I did.

the kyriad etaples is a comfortable and inexpensive hotel . the rooms are small and well designed . for a budget hotel this is as good as it gets in france . the only drawback is the distance from the town centre. a short drive or a 40 min walk .

The architect of this room should receive an award. Absolutely everything there we needed but in the smallest space. Ideal for an overnight stay and the bathroom and shower were excellent.

We didn't fancy the evening menu so went to Le Touquet but the breakfast was extremely good with lots of choice.

The hotel was clean, comfy, and friendly. The room was small, the twin beds didn't have much room between them, but as a base for exploring the neighbouring towns it was absolutely fine. My son and I enjoyed it and would stay there again.

When we arrived, it took the reception around 15 mins to tell us whether our rooms were OK or not, they didn't try to explain what their problem was. The room itself was small, but perfectly adequate for a short break. Nice and clean.
Breakfast was typical continental buffet style, decent for 9 euros, compared to local cafe prices in high season.
Location - walking to Etaples is about 25 mins, Le Touquet is around 7km!
Would recommend due to good price, but stay in Le Touquet at high season if you want to avoid heavy traffic into town on weekends!

Hotel was good but the food was ridiculously expensive.

Kyriad Etaples seems relatively modern but the room door was warped (room 116) and needed to be slammed to shut it, the housekeeper shrugged when I pointed this out, the internal shutters were hanging off the window, the beds were comfortable and the room clean. Don't know who decides that Liptons tea should be in the room but it is awful. With a bit of care and attention it could be a good hotel. Fish and chips cost 22 Euros !

Convenient location and easy to find for someone new to France.
Clean and good service, relaxing atmosphere.

Slight problem with food- can't take garlic and food came with garlic cream (requested not to). Cream was washed off, chops re-heated and put back onto same plate- with cream still on it. Couldn't eat it!
Breakfast excellent.

Recommend to all.

Boutique hotel just outside Le Touquet, great for a weekend away!

Friendly welcome by owners, room was exceptionally clean, modern, comfy and very stylish. Great base to explore Le Touquet and Montreuil, and just 40 mins drive from Calais and 5 min drive/25 min walk out of Etaples (great fish market on quayside every day 8.00-12.00 noon). Restaurant looked really good too. Ideal for a weekend away. Would definitely recommend.

This is a very good Kyriad, recently renovated, very clean, comfortable,and despite being close to a local railway line, very quiet. The rooms are compact but for one or two nights perfectly adequate. A cold buffet breakfast costs 8.50 euros, and there was plenty of choice served in a very pleasant dining room. We did not eat dinner there although it was available and seemed reasonably priced. Etaples is a lovely little town with an excellent market on Friday mornings and there are many other delightful places to visit in the area.

Kyriad Hotel Le Touquet

My wife and myself were very impresed with the high standard of this hotel.
The staff are very efficient , pleasent and helpful. The room was excellent, clean, tidy, and comfortabe.
We ate in the resturant , which is superb, on both evenings the food was very good.
Breakfast is great, as much as you can eat, a wide choice and well presented.
The location for Le Touquet is good, not in walking distance but still acceptable, with good parking.
We will use this chain of hotels again.

This hotel may have Etaples as its postal address but it is outside the town boundary. It is situated on a very busy main road. It is quite a distance inland and there is a railway line at the back of the hotel. The hotel itself provides a comfortable stopover and the staff are helpful. We thought breakfast was expensive. There are no alternative restaurants within walking distance.

Newly refurbished small rooms but very functional. Good food in restaurant and lots of food at breakfast. Self service breakfast but very easy.
On a main road but convenient to town and Le Touquet. You would need a car. Very nice staff. good experience

RESERVATION NON VALIDEE PAR L'HOTEL

J'ai réservé sur hotel.com pour le lundi 23/12/24 et une fois sur place, il n'y avait plus de chambre pour moi malgré le reçu qui m'a été envoyé par mail comme quoi j'avais payé la chambre... du coup, j'ai dû prendre une chambre dans un autre hôtel... Le site vend plus de chambre qu'il n'y en a de disponible.

Keurige, schone maar kleine kamer. Badkamer ook klein maar goed werkende douche en schoon. Helaas kregen wij de verwarming niet uit, dus kamer bleef te warm, ondanks het open dakraam.

Hôtel confortable mais loin de la ville

L'hôtel est agréable, la chambre petite mais confortable. En revanche, l'hôtel est situé à l'écart de la ville, il faut une voiture pour se rendre à Etaples ou au bord de la mer.

Un peu en retrait du Touquet, mais un accès parfait pour atteindre en voiture les différentes plages, visiter MAREIS, ...
L'accueil est extrêmement convivial (et pourtant, je suis plutôt avare de compliments).
Les chambres ont été récemment rénovées et l'établissement montre une réelle hospitalité avec dans les chambres café, thé, biscuits & confiseries et même une bouteille d'eau.
Grand parking, restaurant sur place => je recommande sincèrement !
