Lovely hotel if you can avoid contact with staff.

The hotel is placed in the best location, right on the beach with just a short walk into town. The hotel was clean, modern and comfortable.
The were a big let down for us. Very rude and not helpful. We returned one evening at 9.45pm and wanted a night cap. After waiting a long time at the bar no one came to serve us so we tried to connecting hotel. Still nothing. We walked back and found a a staff member who told us that bar was shut but the try the other bar so again we walked back through the hotel and it was closed too. Absolutely wasting our time.
The next day we sat in the restaurant area, waiting 20 minutes to be served but again nothing. When asking a member of staff for service he replied, yes what do you want. Honestly the worst service I've had at a hotel and really put us off spending any money at the bar or restaurant. We avoided contact with the staff all together in the end.
Swimming pool was quiet and relaxing. Salt water pool which I didn't realise until I opened my eyes under the water. Oops.
Steam room as really relaxing too.
Lots of people walking around in their robes. So it's a very relaxed place.

We arrived with a dog weighing over 100kgs and nobody gave us a wrong look.
Warm welcome, comfortable room and a location to die for.

Good evening meal and pleasant surroundings. I want to return.

Great location, lots of activities-not enough time

We stayed for one night at the Ibis Thalassa. The room was a bit small but we had a lovely view of the beach and sunset from the balcony. The hotel is on the beach, but access down a flight of stairs which is a bit tricky with the pram. Unfortunately we didn’t have time to use the many facilities, spa, swimming pool but these looked great. Swimming pool looked amazing with view of the beach. Breakfast was ok, typical ibis options. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would consider coming back for a longer stay!

Wonderfully located in the dunes

Wonderfully located in the dunes, the rooms are bright and all have incredible views of the beach and sea, which seems like it could come right up to the balcony.

Winter in Le Touquet

This hotel is situated along the beach with easy access. It has a good bar and restaurant both overlooking the sea. It was a cold winters day so the hotel and beach were both quiet. I would imagine a very different experience in the summer. We had our pet dog with us and asked for a room with garden access which wasn’t a problem.
A 20 minute walk to the town centre but this is easy and flat.
We didn’t use the spa or pool but the facilities looked excellent. All in in all a very pleasant stay.

We had a garden room and still had a view of the beach. Bed comfortable but room and bathroom a bit cramped otherwise everything we needed for a 1 night stay. Lovely pool and terrace areas to sit outside and have a drink. Breakfast was nice

Just too far

While hotel is new our room was 200 yards from reception and as we are over seventy this was terrible . Also there was no english menu available. Everyone comming into the hotel had to walk through the dinning room also people in dressing gowns also had to go to thier rooms via dinning room after visiting the spa area.

We arrived at 13:30 we had to wait for the room to be cleaned until 15:30
We had a drink and they have well seen my husband disabled and exhausted after a long drive from England worst when we had the keys it was for long way walk and I refused it
I received the keys for a room already occupied and I opened the room on the couple very surprised we had the numbers
Imagine no one was it that room and you have your items stollen by someone
I returned to the receptionist and told the room is booked give me another one
We had the bathroom light right on your face when someone asleep the glass reflect the light in all the room from the bathroom light
Next day we did not have again access to the room we had to go back to ask the receptionist to activate the card to access our room

Pool Closed Due to Major Renovations

Booked this hotel because of the pool and spa the week before our stay for my GF's birthday. Received an email on the morning of arrival to say the pool was out of use. Thought it must have been a last miunte closure due to a child having an \"accident\" in the pool or something, but on arrival - oh no, it was no accident! The whole pool area was closed for major renovations and had been for over 3 months, yet nowhere on Hotels.com did it tell us this, we later found out the information was only on the hotels website! Then to top it off, our sea view room was a view of some the car park. Complained and got the room we booked, but the hotel is in severe need of demolition. It is in very poor condition on the outside due to the location in the dunes by the sea, and inside isn't much better as the rooms were also tired and grubby, and what major hotels STILL have keys for the door locks! I will never stay here again. Not impressed.

Room with balcony overlooking beach. One of the hottest nights of the year and no method of cooling other than leaving balcony door open, as we were top floor this was no problem.
It would have been nice to have AC or at least a fan.
Breakfast at 13 euros each we felt was a little steep, so did not partake. They also want 15 euros for a dog which is also on the top side.
The staff efficient and friendly and check in and out fast.
It is about a 20 minute walk to the centre which is well served with restaurants and bars.
It is not our first visit to this hotel and hopefully wont be our last.
We would recommend this hotel and to sit on your balcony and watch the sun dip down over the horizon out at sea is magical.

Nice resort very quiet due to time of year June 4-10. Beautiful beach brilliantly looked after . Hotel is a bit of a hike from town centre along promenade .
Hotel needs to be updated , work is being carried out in the spa as was closed while we were there.
Our bedroom was furthest away from reception and public areas - one suggestion would be to give guests some kind of secure access in and out the areas at the far end of the property .

An absolute joke of a hotel. Avoid at all costs!

Hugely expensive for an ibis but as it's on the beach and attached to the spa it chsrges accordingly. However, the spa is shut. This was not made clear at booking, not was there any price adjustment. The rooms were very poor and unclean - and I had opted for the best with a balcony. The restaurant had many items missing from the drinks and food menu, and service was ridiculously slow. We waited 40 minutes for the starter and there was only 2 other small tables. Reception staff were rude. When I was asked if I'd paid for breakfast and confirmed I was not believed until the receptionist went through the staff until they found someone with my receipt. I will not be staying in this poor quality, overpriced place again.

Good location - overpriced

WE booked two rooms for a week-end break. The price led us to expect a relatively high standard of accommodation - we were rather disappointed. Rooms were spartan with absolutely no frills There were no in-room drinks facilities, a basic provision in most hotels. A coffee in the bar cost €5.20 which would explain the lack of room facilities. On the positive side, the location was excellent as was the buffet breakfast.

beach location perfect, hotel disappointing

You couldn't get a better location than on the beach with view of the huge beach and a balcony. The hotel room and staff need upgrading. Room was very tired and in need of modernising especially for the cOst of the room. It's cleanliness needs addressing too.
However the le touquet shops beach and place is very grand and a place to come back to again and again.

Good location in beautiful le touquet , room very small and balcony covered in sand and water -window to balcony could have done with a clean inside and out but room standard fine -just needed more space , a fridge as you would expect with this cost of room .

Séjour parfait dans cet hôtel où tout est pensé pour accueillir aussi bien les humains que leurs compagnons à quatre pattes. Dès l’arrivée, on est chaleureusement reçus : l’équipe est aux petits soins, souriante et vraiment attentive au confort de chacun.

L’emplacement est exceptionnel : l’hôtel est littéralement posé dans le sable, avec un accès direct à une grande plage privée. Plusieurs espaces permettent de boire un verre, grignoter ou simplement profiter de la vue sur les dunes et la mer.

Pour une chambre a 175 € la nuit petit dej inclus vraiment pas a la hauteur. Vous payer le balcon vue mer et le placement au Touquet mais pas un bon niveau. Piscine plus municipal que balnéo. Il y avait des nagune équipe de nageur de Dunkerque avec leur entraîneur très bruyant. Eau plutôt froide.
Un peignoir dans la chambre mais pas de chausson donc prévoir des claquettes pour aller au spa.
De plus vous devez traverser le restaurant pour aller a la piscine ce qui en peignoir ne le fait pas trop.
Chambre vraiment petite. Pas de mouchoir en papier. Deux dosettes de café un décalage un normal et 5 thés, quantité un peu décalée. Produit vide dans la salle de bain.... Et j'en passe.
Personne handicapée g jamais marche autant pour aller de notre chambre a une piscine.
Il 'ny a eu que le Petit dej qui relève le niveau copieux et face à la mer.

Hotel légèrement à l'écart du Touquet mais face à la mer (Si vous choisissez la vue mer). Les chambres ressemblent plus à des cabines de bateaux. Les chambres ne sont pas très grandes mais assez optimisées. Le seul regret vient du bruit des portes des chambres se fermant avec un bruit un peu fort.
Le dernier point est la façon dont est construit ce site tout en longueur qui fait que l'on doit passer par le restaurant pour aller à l'accueil ou à la piscine. C'est un peu bizarre mais tout à fait acceptable.

Très bon hôtel pour se reposer.

Hôtel face à la mer, agréable. Parking à 10€ intéressant. Bon petit déj mais assez cher. le lit était excellent. Par contre les odeurs d'égouts remontaient dans la salle de bain. La piscine est bien (le hammam aussi), mais était un peu trop bruyante au moment où nous y sommes allés.

Comme toujours, acceuil pas très sympa. Les seules personnes sympa sont ceux du resto…

L’accueil des clés se fait au niveau du novotel, obligé de faire une longue marche de l’ibis jusqu’au novotel avec valises et en pleine tempête de pluie, super agréable.. Je suis place tout au bout de l’hôtel et j’arrive devant la porte et la clé n’était pas codée… obligé de retourner au novotel avec mes valises, c’est tellement plus simple.. réveillé le matin à 7h30 par le personnel qui doit nettoyer les chambres..au départ de l’hôtel plus de 20 minutes d’attente pour faire le checkîng.. L’endroit est top et bien placé mais le service laisse à désirer….
