I was very disapointed in this Motel 6. The lobby was not clean nor kept up. I did not feel safe at this property. I was in a room by other guests and/or residents? that kept the door open and played music loud. The people next door were up most of the night in and out of the room sitting in the car along with the other people staying or residing there. Was not able to sleep due to all the goings on and actually moved the chain in back of the door.I was worried about myself and my car in the parking lot. I chose to sleep in my cloths shoes on ready to leave. The room itself was in poor condition, drapes falling off, prior holes in the bathroom door, floors were sticky etc. I was up at 4am waiting for daylight; checked out shortly after and opted to go sleep in my car at a rest stop. No sleep and exhausted I felt safer in my car sleeping at a rest stop over the hotel. That said I travel often and stay in hotels any typically choose a middle of the road option and read the reviews. I would NOT reccomend this hotel especially for solo female travelers.

Parking was right in front of our room, with no issues. A/C was efficient and quiet. Staff friendly. This property is bare bones, no fancy soaps, body wash, shampoo. No pool or gym. We were only stopping one night so more than adequate for our needs. Clean, quiet and friendly.

The room was in great shape and clean. I appreciated the rug/mat just inside the door to catch debris off my shoes and dogs feet. I had a refrigerator and microwave, but they dont offer a coffee pot. I booked a walk in shower room, mainly on accident, but it was nicely tiled with a new shower head that worked great. I stayed in 4 Motel 6's in my 7 day trip and this was the best one by far. Front desk Gentleman was funny and courteous. Even saved me from leaving my phone behind.

Noise was nonstop screaming yelling drug deals in front of my room drug dealer sits in his car in the parking lot. October 9th was supposed to be special to me. It was my first wedding anniversary since my husband passed away. Everything was ruined.

My 86-year-old father and I arrived with a confirmed reservation. The manager/owner asked for my driver’s license and then gave us a room. I went to an event, while my father went to bed.

At 11 p.m., my father called me saying that someone was trying to enter the room and had woken him up. It turned out that the manager was upset and began yelling at me over the phone, accusing us of not having a reservation. I tried to explain that we did, but he kept insisting we had taken someone else’s room.

He demanded that I leave my event immediately to meet him, threatening to throw my elderly father out on the street if I did not comply. I had no choice but to leave and deal with the situation.

When I showed him proof of our reservation, instead of apologizing, he yelled at me for not informing him that he had mistakenly given us another guest’s room—even though he had been looking directly at my driver’s license during check-in.

He then told me that when I returned later, I would have to check in again with the night staff, or else they would wake up my father once more.
Very rude and unprofessional.
I would stay away.

The beds were good and clean. Shower was nice an clean. Rest of room had a lot needed help floors were filthy. Walls were in bad shape. Needed a good cleaning and paint. Refrigerator was so loud I had to unplug it to get to sleep. My overall complaint was mold on ceiling in bathroom. Room smelt like strong chemicals trying to hide mold smell. Price was good. Checked in at evening hour. Front desk person was very short and not very welcoming. Would I book again—- definitely not. Even for the price.

Check in clerk was professional and courteous. She made me feel welcomed. She explained where to park, where the ice machine was located. She even called my room shortly after check in to see if I was happy with things. Old school professionalism. I would stay here again.

Price was competitive with similar hotels, but the property was better. Excellent location for gas, food and other amenities.

Night manager spoke very broken English. She refused to inform me of what she was asking me to sign when i asked for this information and told me i was signing the electronic signature pad. She then tried to make me leave whe i reiterated that i wanted to know what policies etcetera i was being asked to sign for.

Once i got in the room the smell was overwhelming of perfume trying to cover cigarette smoke - i was supposed to be in a non smoking room. Also the floors were sticky.

Convenient right off and on of I75, handy gas and food. But this must have been a grand little place back in the day, but like so many other of the less expensive hotels along the interstates in order to max out what profits that can be had the infrastructure appears to being let go until it is either too late or someone steps in and says it just has to be fixed, although it looked like some painting was being done. Good beds, hot water, clean sheets and towels and the TV worked, so it served its purpose at a decent price. Just dont white glove the room and this place will do you OK

Basic No Frills but Comfortable

There were no negative issues that surfaced. I expected a bare bones room with no extras and that is exactly what i got. No coffee pot and no continental breakfast. What i did get was a room that was very clean and comfortable. It was quiet and restful so after driving a 1000 miles in one day, this room was a perfect match.

there were police on the grounds dealing with a fight and disturbance on the property when I arrived initially and again for another incident a few hours later after returning from work, another guest with a high end car had parked next to mine and found his tires flat leaving him stranded

Great location right off the hwy, and situated directly behind a gas station for drink and snack convenience.

It is obviously an older property, but rooms have been upgraded, and were fairly clean all things considered. Couldn't beat it for the money.

The man that checked us in was very rude and had no idea what he was doing. Refused to let us have 2 keys and i asked for a room on the side of the building becaise we had a young dog that barks when theres alot going on outside. He refused. He tried tk charge me for 2 days that were already prepaid for and I had already showed him the receipt twice. He got mad when i told him we had dogs and said he had to start all over and I shoukd have said something. I told him I did say something. Thats why i asked for a room on the side of the building rather than up front. There were ants in the bathroom and dried up dog feces in the corner of the bedroom. We ended up staying 5 days. Housekeeping never came by 1 single time. We had to go to the office to get clean towels and toilet paper. And then they asled for ID for that. I had to go to the dollar general to get cleaning supplies. Staff is rude. One Indian man showed me hisblittle finger that had a long finger nail telling me that was a status symbol stating he doesnt do manual labor???? This happened when inwas complaining about how housekeeping never came by and thats what his response was to me. I wasnt asking him to clean but asking for someone to clean it.

The room was a great value for a no frills stay which is exactly what I was looking for. I couldn’t be more pleased.

Downside, the a/c heater was loud enough I turned it off at night so it didn’t wake me up when it came on. Not a big deal as it wasn’t really needed all that much.

We stay here a few days per month for work. Its quiet and basic needs are met. Office staff os always friendly amd caring. Inlike that we can bring our dog and there are always other dogs. Offering a carry out breakfast of some sort would definitely brighten up the place. The only complaint we ever have is the male house keeper. Hes always rude and cranky. Never smiles and is never friendly. I guess that's just how he is.

Front desknpeople are always great. We atay here aboit 1 week per month. Beds are comfy. Housekeeping personel are hateful. Have very bad attitudes, have no idea how to be friendly. They beat on the door and do not give you time to get out of bed and to the door befoee their walking in on you. If you stay here make sure your door is bolted or they will walk in. The one man who walks around and changes the outsode trash cans is a horribly rude person. Thebplace has roaches. Be sure to shake you things out thoroughly before putting them in your car to go home.

Easily the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Other Motel 6’s I’ve been in weren’t nice but this place was a DUMP and kind of scary. When we arrived there were police and EMT on seen. When I asked the front desk clerk what was going on he informed me it was a guest who had gotten drunk. The next morning we talked to locals who informed us that people live in this hotel and they’re not the most desirable of characters. That explains why we heard dogs barking through the night and people coming and going at all hours.

If you showed me a picture of the courtyard I would’ve said this place was abandoned. Overgrown, weeds everywhere, pieces of the building were falling off in some places and duct taped on in others. Inside was no better. Stains on the comforters. Stains on the sheets. Stains, toothpaste, and lipstick on the walls. When we turned on the sink fruit flies or gnats came out of the drain. In the morning when we left someone had urinated on the wall outside.

The front desk staff was ok and that’s about all I can say was good. The hallway was covered in bird poop. The floor in the room needed swept and I’m not sure the sheets were clean. We stayed as they said it was a pet friendly hotel, unfortunately the grass had not been mowed and my Pomeranian was lost in it as it was so tall! I believe they rent more rooms to people for living than people who travel. If you do stay bring freshener as you will smell what your neighbors are cooking!

Not a bad little one night stay. We actually slept pretty well once everyone in rooms beside us quieted down. The bad thing about it is you can hear EVERYTHING in the next room. It was decently clean. Yes things are outdated. We were surprised with the mini fridge and microwave because it was not listed in the room amenities so we thought we'd have to go without. We were surprised to find both. Although they weren't in the best shape they were clean and worked. Would have liked more than 3 pillows for 2 people but it wasn't terrible. Not bad for the price.

Wendy’s, Waffle House, a coffee shop and a Subway within a 2 minute walk. Staff was kind at check in, the man at check out was a bit gruff and kind of gave me a look when I asked for a receipt. But all else considered it was a comfortable 2 night stay and I’d reconsider booking there again.
