The hotel is great, but do not stay on the first floor, that’s where they keep all of their supplies, which they leave in the hallways. This includes everything for the cleaning staff, which results in them leaving trash from rooms in the hallway, making the whole floor smell of trash. The carts are sometimes stored across from each other in one of the halls you have to pass to get to your room and you will have to squeeze sideways through them to get by. I’m not talking about them storing the carts there temporarily while cleaning a room, I’m referring to them generally being stored on the floor at all times.

This is not a 4 Star Hotel or even Close
The service is deplorable, rooms funky, door lock in my room not functioning and no AC during a heatwave.
Escalation tot he front desk, concierge, Division Manager and GM resulted in no action.
There is a massive support structure in the middle of the room that you have to navigate around
I was given a fan because the AC did not work properly
The maid left my door unclosed and unlocked inviting a theft
Emails to the front desk and concierge produce an automated response saying they will get back to you
Check in lines are long and are tedious
The front desk is under staffed
They even post a note in the elevator about how difficult and time consuming it is to check out
The last night they gave me a room upgrade that was a better room but it was too little too late - the AC still would cool the room below 73 F, the room smelt musty (like the hallway) and the carpets in the hallways are filthy
Avoid this place at all costs

It was an amazing stay from start to finish. Room size was very comfortable. The location was perfect as it was right at the water front and within walking distance to all attractions. Staff was helpful and friendly. Restaurant breakfast buffet was great. The swimming pool is nice.
Uber is very accessible from everywhere. I would love to stay here again.

We recently stayed at the Admiral Hotel in Copenhagen and found it to be a mixed experience.

The biggest positive is the location. The hotel sits right on the waterfront and is within easy walking distance of many of Copenhagen's most popular attractions, including Nyhavn, Amalienborg Palace, the Marble Church, the Copenhagen Opera House, and the Royal Danish Playhouse. It made sightseeing very convenient and allowed us to explore much of the city on foot. In addition, the room was very clean and bed was very comfortable.

Unfortunately, our stay coincided with a major city bike race weekend. Due to road closures and heavy crowds, our taxi was unable to get anywhere near the hotel and dropped us off roughly two miles away. We then had to drag four suitcases, two of them very large, through busy city streets to reach the property. This was certainly not the hotel's fault, but it had a significant impact on our arrival experience and overall stay.

Service was inconsistent. We wanted recommendations for local restaurants and attractions, but the concierge was unavailable. We waited over 20 minutes and no one came out to assist us. For a hotel of this caliber, that was disappointing.

We also ate at the grill on the patio and found it to be extremely expensive. A burger, Coke, and cappuccino cost over $60 USD, which was hard to justify even by Copenhagen standards.

Overall, the Admiral Hotel offers an excellent location and a beautiful waterfront setting.

This was a great place to stay. The restaurant in the hotel is awesome.... nicely appointed, delicious food, and a devoted wait staff. The hotel is by the canal and looks beautiful at night. We could walk to most of the places wer wanted to see.

I love Copenhagen! The people, the food, the buildings, and just a short ride across the North Sea to Malmo, Sweden. We can't to return!

Hemos tenido una horrible experiencia nos dieron la habitacion 147 que esta hubicada justo en la entrada de hotel, esa habitacion fue sumamente ruidosa, calurosa tuvimos que pedir nos destupieran el lavamanos, el personal de la recepcion son antipaticos y le pedimos que destupieran el labamanos y no lo
hicieron, tuvimos que pedirlo por 2da vez, hasta que fue lo arreglaron. No recomiendo ese hotel

We enjoyed our stay - amazing location. Were a little disappointed in that it was a bit on the expensive side and found the room a bit small. The hallways on our floor were where they stored all the linen which , for the money, was a bit off-putting. So location yes, value for money not so much.

The hall ways will always have those carts to block you and seem like a fire hazard. My room had spider webs that looked like never cleaned. Location is nice. Not worth the price for me.

We stayed for a week at the Admiral in March and it was our home away from home. It’s conveniently located to public transit, with great restaurant options and popular sites within walking distance. We especially appreciated the wonderful concierge assistance of Mikkel, Bernardo, and Yuliana who who happily shared their expertise and insights on what to do, where to eat, and how to get anywhere.

Bike hire from the hotel was useful. The bikes are not electrified, if you need assistance with peddling, you might prefer renting elsewhere.

Loved everything about this hotel! Great price, fantastic location and lovely staff! Only thing would be to allow adding breakfast to the booking as currently you can only buy when there. We did not buy it as it was super overpriced (~$60 AUD per person per day). If they changed this option and made it more affordable this hotel would be a 10/10!

Excellent location and standard. The sofa bed wasn’t fit for purpose though. We complained and they said they’d address it but nothing was done. Very uncomfortable for our children to sleep on. They finally came with a thin mattress topper at nearly midnight on the second night which didn’t really make a difference. Not ideal at all so wouldn’t recommend booking a room with a sofa bed. Apart from that, the stay was great.

Lovely clean hotel room, we went for the duplex which should be configured the other way round as the stairs are steep so we would’ve preferred to set the lounge and 3rd sofa bed upstairs where generally the little one adults would but as set out it meant several trips to the bathroom during the night were a little tricky. Hotel is lovely but the bar being part of the restaurant means it’s not easy just to get a drink. Also in the morning there’s no way of just getting a coffee unless you want a full breakfast experience which we did not. It’s a lovely hotel and staff are great just feels like a bit of a work in progress. That said location is great you’re right in the thick of it and literally less than a 20 minute walk from almost anywhere you’d want to visit. Would definitely return but pick a different single level room.

The room was very small, yet nice and clean. Unfortunately, the hotel was under construction and in the early mornings there was a lot of noise from excavations taking place at front and equipment moving around. Wishes the halls were luggage friendly, they are carpeted and hard to move luggage around. Luckily the staff is friendly and kind enough to assist.

This hotel was excellent. Beautiful room—very stylish in modern, Nordic style, and extremely comfortable. Great bed, plenty of room, great shower. We were very happy here.
Restaurant was rather expensive, but good food and extensive wine list.
Harbour side rooms have a lovely view of harbour and opera house.

The hotel is beautiful and very well located. Breakfast is abundant and varied, and the restaurant has a lovely terrace and a great wine list. The customer service was excellent, everyone was kind and attentive, and Anais was especially helpful. However, we had problems with the air conditioning. We were moved to another room, but the same issue occurred again. Although the listing says rooms have air conditioning, we were told it’s a mistake in the app. The controls and vents are there, which makes it confusing. The bed was not very comfortable, as it’s a box spring with a very thin mattress on top, and the cleanliness could be improved, we found a spider in the first room and a piece of dental floss on the floor in the second. Despite these issues, the staff’s kindness and effort, especially from Anais, really stood out.

Sadly not what we expected. Staff very disorganised. Booked a room with waterside view but was over a building site. Given the hard sell to upgrade to a suite on arrival. Despite asking for information about facities at the hotel the receptionist was unhelpful. Corridor cluttered with laundry trolleys. Room was cramped very small space between the end of the bed and wall. We came to celebrate our anniversary but was disappointed by this hotel.
