Despite its age (very 90s decor), the room was very clean; even the carpet, which, unlike US hotels, didn't leave the soles of your feet grey with grime after walking around barefoot.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room faced major intersection (well, major by Swiss standards) so there was some traffic noise throughout the night, but not disruptive.

Arrived a few minutes later than expected (shortyl after 11PM) due to bad weather conditions. The hotel door was locked, nobody responded to the night bell. I had to book another hotel in the middle of the night.
That was very disappointing for me, because I expected the hotel to contact me, respectively offer me an option to access my room.

Situated in an excellent location close to both the train station and the centre of the city, Hotel Elite was a good choice for me. The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful.
There are some aspects of my room that were looking a bit tired. For example, the grout in the bath/shower tiles had signs of mildew and the gauze curtains at the door to the balcony had yellowed with age.

Everything a bit dented and old, not clean (stains on carpet and towels), used capsules in the nespresso machine. Reception not staffed at most time involving a wait and when there cannot help. WiFi did not work despite asking multiple times. Staff is rude and unhelpful.

No assistance at the check-in, had to call a number with a person who wasn't sure on how I was supposed to get in, had to spend 20 min walking around the building before finding the secondary entrance he was mentioning.

The rooms are ugly and mine in particular had a very unpleasant smell, had to sleep the whole night with window open to make the situation better.

The hotel says they have a parking for guests, but this in not true.

Overall I spent more than average in Biel for a room per each night, I would say not worth it at all..

Nice room, poor breakfast.

The room was okay, clean and everything you'd expect to find was there. Could of perhaps done with some instructions for the Nespresso coffee machine in the room, but I figured it out eventually.
Only complaint would be the breakfast. It was poor for the money. The hot stuff was cold and the cold stuff wasn't replenished quickly enough.

One of Biel’s best

Very nice hotel right in the centre of Biel. Great rooftop restaurant. Downside is that the walls very thin so if you get a noisy neighbour it can be a problem. The reception isn’t manned very often. But overall a good experience been a few times for business, still the best in Biel.

Excellent location, but bed not very comfortable

Excellent location, close to the railway station and city center, with very good adjacent restaurant and bar. Valet parking is not available as stated on Hotels.com: you have to drive to the railway station parking lot (28 CHF per day). Breakfast room on last floor offers excellent views of the city. Bed and pillows are very stiff, bed is also small size. Friendly and helpful reception desk.

Front desk was not always staffed, with multiple calls and trips down required to get a hold of someone. My hallway smelled like cigarettes. They didn't actually clean the room or change the sheets each day, just tidied up a bit. I expected a little more from such a nice hotel. Also, there was either construction in the morning or loud neighbors. My stay was fine for two quick nights, but not sure I'd go again.

Loved hotel, but make choices to make stay perfect

Good location for work requirements.
Mislead by \"Valet Parking\" statement - no there isn't! and parking is at the station carpark, some 5-10 mins drive and 10-15 mins walk back.
Restaurant not open on Monday night, and reception provide \"Happy hour\" advert, misleading, but it is only available in Summer!
Rooms are very comfortable and clean - great service, but the walls are paper thin. I had a snoring monster and pleb that was on the phone at 4a.m and could hear the mobile alerts through the wall.
Sleep disturbed at least 3 times in the early morning, so knackered and annoyed when I got up!
Restaurant was comfy and good breakfast. Evening meal was very tasty and staff brilliant. Bit pricey, but this is CH, and there is choice locally.
Facilities great and the Wellness centre, free for guests, fantastic.
Will def stay here again, but ask for a corner room.
As notified, they had renovations ongoing, but hardly noticed. Just a minor whiff of paint.
Overall, loved it and given souvenier umrella when departed and raining.xx

Nice Hotel in heart of Biel

This hotel is nice and so is the staff!!! Mirella greeted me when I checked in and informed me I was upgraded. It was such a nice surprise to have an upgraded large room, it really made my day. Everyone at this hotel is quick to help and make you feel right at home.

No hot water. Of course you notice this once you are already naked in the shower under time pressure. So you take a cold shower in the winter time. Absolutely unacceptable for a hotel with such a number of stars. Staff response to complaint: completely lethargic, not even offered an apology.

Je n'ai pas su me servir de la machine a café dans la chambre (boutons tous rouge bien que j'ai mis de l'eau). Mais café, thé, eau dans la chambre est très bien.

Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber. Teekocher mit sinnvollen Teesorten ( auch Kräutertee) und Kaffeekapseln. Sehr Nahe beim Bahnhof.
Sehr gute Daunendecken. Sehr leicht und angenehm. Gute Matratzen. Gutes Leselicht. Schreibpult.
Bei Lärmempfindlichkeit besser ein Zimmer zu den Hinterhöfen wählen.

Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen, ausser zwei Sachen. Es war nicht möglich Kaffeerahm zu erhalten, obwohl die Nespressomaschine mit Café explizit erwähnt wird. Wir wollten ein späteres Checkout. Das Hotel war höchstens zu 25% belegt und unser Zimmer wurde nicht gebraucht. Trotzdem verlangten sie Fr 80.— um bis 16.00 h bleiben zu können und eine Gepäckaufbewahrung war auch nicht möglich.

Schönes, zentral gelegenes Hotel

Ich war schon mehrmals im Hotel und immer sehr zufrieden gewesen. Dieses Mal liess allerdings die Gastfreundschaft (Willkommenskultur) und der Service zu wünschen übrig. Die Réception ist nur stundenweise besetzt, ansonsten herrscht gähnende Leere. Die Info-Zettel sind an einer Glasscheibe im obersten Winkel angebracht, sodass man sich bemühen muss, die Anweisungen lesen zu können. Am Frühstücksbuffet war um 08.40 Uhr weder Confiture noch Butter (nur Margarine) und auch kein Birchermüesli vorhanden. Mehrere Leute haben nachgefragt. Es wurde aber nichts mehr nachgereicht.

Die Junior Suite war wie angekündigt sehr geräumig und komfortabel. Durch die Ausrichtung auf den Guisan Platz nachts allerdings sehr lärmausgesetzt, auch im 4. Stock. Das Frühstück war sehr frugal, entsprach nicht den Erwartungen auch unter Einbezug von COVID-19.

Ich war 10 Tage im Hotel. Es gab das eine oder andere was im Service hätte besser laufen können. Allerdings versprach die Direktion hoch und heilig das diese Sachen nicht mehr vorkommen werden. War halt dumm gelaufen. Passiert.
Das Luxuszimmer war dem Aufpreis angemessen groß, das Zimmer sehr sauber. Das im Haus befindlichen Fitnissstudio sehr gut. Das Restaurant gehobenes Niveau mit guten Empfehlungen.

Das Hotel hat eine sehr gute, zentrale Lage.
Nicht so gut dagegen sind die in der Wand neben dem Bett verlaufenden Abwasserleitungen, welche extrem gut hörbar sind. Für 165 CHF ohne Frühstück im EInzelzimmer kann man definitiv etwas anderes erwarten.

Bin öfters Gast im Hotel Elite in Biel.
Ein schönes art Deco Hotel mit grossen Zimmern, gut ausgestattet, Top Zentral 200 Meter vom Bahnhof, Zugang zum Fitness im Haus, Restaurant, Bar...alles vorhanden.
Nette Staff die immer hilfreich ist.
Für mich klar das beste Hotel in Biel/Bienne.
Wegen der Covid19 Situation war diesmal die Rezeption nicht 24h besetzt. Kein Problem.
Gebe 9 von 10 Punkten.
Einen Punktabzug gibt es für die (für mich) harte Matratze und nicht optimalen Kopfkissen. Werde gerne wieder in mein Bieler Lieblingshotel kommen.

Das Zimmer entsprach nicht den Bildern auf der Website. Es gibt offenbar nur ein Zimmer mit der entsprechenden Ausstattung, und zwar nur auf dem zweiten Stock. Ist entsprechend lärmiger.

Das Frühstück hat uns nicht überzeugt. Kaffee nicht wirklich gut, plärrender Radiosender, etc.
