I have only good things to say about The Luxe Ubud. Everything was perfect from the moment I got picked up from the airport to the moment I left. The staff are just out of this world. Very courteous, friendly and responsive. They handle you with so much care and treat you with so much respect that you begin to question if you’re royalty (haha). The food at the Grill was simply amazing! (A big shoutout to the chef’s and the lovely gentlemen and ladies that work there). I will definitely be back and will also recommend this stay to friends and family who want to visit Ubud. The location is great and safe…a very walkable and quiet area. I traveled alone as a woman and didn’t feel scared when walking at night or early in the morning. You won’t regret staying at The Luxe. Kudos to the staff and owner/s!

Ubud is Amazing and The Luxe is the cherry on top! From pick-up (on the scooters) to check-in(delicious welcome drinks) to the staff being the best and most attentive staff on the planet to checkout, EVERYBODY and EVERYTHING about this stay was SUPERB! We've traveled all over the world and this is the most hospitable and welcoming hotel out there! Always willing to help, always greeting you with smiles, and sincerely asking how your day was. The room was phenomenal, turn down service in the evening is a pleasant surprise. I can't say enough good things about this place, truly an excellent experience and we'll ALWAYS stay at The Luxe whenever we're lucky enough to return Ubud and it's wonderful staff! Thanks again Yuri, Madu, and the rest of the staff. Keep smiling and being yourselves, you're wonderful people!

This hotel is very unique providing excellent service and very top notch food in an area you can’t imagine. Every thing you ask they are prepared for you. Toady we are in another luxury villa. We miss the luxe so much. The service has no comparison. Thank you for all of them.

This is a small boutique hotel with 4 units. The staff are accommodating and friendly and go out of their way to provide excellent service. I had an early departure at 6 AM for the airport. The staff knew I would not be able to eat breakfast and offered to provide a breakfast box for me to take and I did not even need to ask. On the day of my departure, it was raining. Because cars are not allowed on the road to the resort, staff pick you up from the main road and take you down. My luggage would be out in the open in the scooter; the staff put my luggage into a plastic bag so that it would not get wet. Again, this was done without having to ask. They made arrangements for drivers, tours etc and were patient when he had multiple changes as to what we needed. The hotel is close to center of Ubud where there is shopping and numerous dining options. Yet, it is quiet and peaceful at the hotel and you would not even know you are in town. The breakfast is amazing and delicious and so was dinner. If you are not going out for the day, there is not as much for you to do as there is only a small pool at the hotel. But the room is very nice and relaxing in there would be wonderful. We highly recommend this hotel and would stay there again if we travel to Bali again.

We loved our stay. From the moment we were picked up by the driver (Komang, you were so lovely and accomodating, thank you so much for waiting all that extra time for us and doing a second transfer which was also delayed, we hugely appreciated it) we were immediately thoroughly looked after. We have never experienced the levels service we did here - everyone helped immensely and nothing was too much trouble. They even arranged a lovely flower greeting for our anniversary, a much appreciated personal touch.

Our room was lovely (sky loft) it was only a shame that we didn't spend too much time there as we were out exploring, but we loved having breakfast on the private roof terrace. We also had an in room massage which was very relaxing.

Unfortunately we also didn't get to go in the pool but it looked very peaceful.

The food was lovely (breakfast, we were not around for dinner) and we appreciated the detail and arrangements to get everything perfect.

Although the surrounding area is very peaceful and natural, we appreciated the complimentary scooter rides into the center of Ubud, we had a jam packed itinerary and it helped keep us on track. The concierge was also at hand to advise and help with our plans and questions.

The hotel is small but bespoke and allows the staff to really focus on their guests. We doubt we will ever be looked after the same and we thank everyone for their friendliness and hospitality. We had an amazing stay and wished it was longer.

The staffs were just amazing. Everyone there would go out of their way to make your stay memorable. The pictures that you see on the website is exactly what you will see when you get there. The food at the restaurant was very good, love their breakfast. We had seafood and it was delicious. Overall we enjoyed it very much. Will definitely come back with family next time. This is better than 5 star hotel!

Every aspect of our stay was exceptional, but what stood out the most was the incredible warmth and hospitality of the entire staff. While many hotels can train their teams to provide good service, Luxe Ubud has managed to create an environment that embodies genuine care and compassion. 5-star hotel for sure! From arrival to departure, we were treated like VIPs. The staff is super friendly and efficient. They always anticipated our needs. They even had a slice of cake with a candle and a Happy Birthday flower sign for my partner. There’s only 4 or 5 very exclusive villas. Our room was incredible. They cleaned it in the morning and afternoon. The villas are in a quiet and secluded area so no car has access to them. The busy area is a 15-20 minute walk or a 5-minute scooter ride which they are happy to provide anytime at no charge. HIGHLY recommended 5-star hotel.

What a beautiful stay at The Luxe Villas. Our villa was beautiful. Bedroom and bathroom was gorgeous and our rooftop deck was great as we had breakfast there overlooking the rice fields each morning.
The staff were the best. They couldn’t do enough for us.
We loved the scooter rides to town and the restaurant on the premises is as fine as any restaurant you would find in NY.
I highly recommend it.

We choose this place to rest and get over jet lag. What we didn't expect was the level of personal service and amazing food at the Grille Restaurant on the property. It was a perfect place for us! Our stay at the Luxe Villas in Ubud was just what we needed to unwind. If you choose to stay away from the hustle and bustle of central Ubud and Bali beaches and instead want to relax in a quiet and beautiful area – opt for the Luxe Villas. It is situated in a no car zone, accessible by scooters only (butlers from the Luxe Villas will assist you with your luggage and personal transportation). It is also an easy walk where you could unwind from the busy city center if you chose so. From the beginning to the end our experience was wonderful. The Grille upstairs offers wonderful service, and all the meals are beautifully and skillfully prepared by the chef and his team. The premises are clean, aesthetics meets the beauty and the function with purpose of relaxation. All the staff from the reception, butlers, and restaurant are extremely helpful and welcoming. We truly enjoyed our stay - thank you everyone at the Luxe Villas – you gave us the best vacation in a long time!

Luxe Bali Villas is simply amazing… Attention to detail and friendly service is their strong suit, along with the human quality of everyone involved in their operation and an absolutely stunning facility.
From Paul the owner who greeted us in person, to Ketut, Kadek and Nyoman the concierges, the super funny Dewa the driver and everyone else like the restaurant personnel and room service crew, this place makes you feel like home from the minute you arrive. Next morning when you greet them you feel they have been your friends for a long time, and that´s not something I can say about people in many places I've been around the world.

My wife and I came with the idea of eating around town, since we are big foodies, but the food and serviec at the Grill stole our hearts. Perfect breakfast, perfect dinners, amazing chef… What can I say? If you come to Ubud, look no further. This is the place.
The great taste in decor and comfort level at the villas will steal your heart.

Best Hotel in the World

I’ve stayed in hotels in 80 countries and this has been by far my favorite one. It is located in the picturesque rice fields of Ubud though a short walking distance to the hustle and bustle of central Ubud. The staff are the most attentive, and friendly I have encountered. They are always paying attention to the smallest details to make sure your stay with them is perfection. The breakfast and diner served at the hotel is also one of the best I've experienced. I could not have asked for a better stay. I would highly recommend this place.

There is a reason this property was voted the best small hotel in Asia and No. 6 in the world. It is an exceptional place to stay that should be experienced at least once in a lifetime if not once a year. The owners Paul and Grace and their staff do an absolutely wonderful job looking after guests and making them feel at home. It's a luxury 5 star stay in an exotic and peaceful environment offering respite from the madding crowd just a few hundred metres away.

Luxe Villas' pledge: where nature meets elegance in an oasis of serenity... one like no other\".
Did Luxe live up to its own pledge? Certainly... and beyond too.
I have to compliment their staff and massage therapists. Otherwise, there will be injustice. From the moment you step into the villa until your departure, you will be surrounded by TLC (tender, loving, care) and the staff perform their duties with much passions not mere chores.
For cowards like us, perhaps the only drawback, is the scooter ride back and forth from/to the villa. Whenever there is an elevated avenue, a downslope, another on-coming vehicle, we thought that we will fall or that our knees will crush against the wall. Well, it is merely our phobia as scooter riding is not our cup of tea.
Will we be back? You bet!!!

Perfect in every way!!!

We had an amazing stay at Luxe. Our room was big and the beautiful four poster bed was ultra comfortable with quality sheets. It was absolute luxury to be able to drink the water straight from the tap. The shower had great pressure and, again, the water was potable. All the amenities are supplied in full sized containers - which is great to find a hotel conscious of plastic rubbish. In fact the whole hotel uses no plastic disposable items.
The hotel is surrounded by rice paddies and it’s an easy 1.4 km walk to the main road (near the palace) in Ubud. Otherwise there’s a free 24hrs motorbike shuttle to or from the hotel. Luxe supplies a Nokia mobile phone for guests to call for the motorbike or restaurant. Breakfast was included and was from the menu at Luxe Restaurant with amazing views over the rice fields. Delicious fresh food with great coffee. Afternoon tea was also supplied, which had a couple of sweet and savoury items with coffee.
We only stayed for two nights but wished we’d stayed for longer. It is a beautiful relaxing place to visit. It felt like the owners have thought about every aspect to make a comfortable stay - whether it’s relaxing by the pool or walking the ‘green walk’ through the rice fields Paul and the fantastic staff were able to help make our stay at Luxe amazing.

The luxe villas are amazing. My mother and i traveled to indonesia for a wedding and treated ourselves to 4 days im bali as a reward. The resort was beautiful and relaxing. It sat in the rice paddys which were quiet and tranquil, yet it was minutes from downtown ubud. The staff was friendly and helpful. They treat you like family, and remember your day trips, likes, dislikes, needs and even your food allergies. The food at the resort was the best food i have ever had. We ate the complimentary breakfast every day, had afternoon tea which is quite a treat, dinner twice on site and room service lunch. The whole resort is a luxurous home away from home.

What can I say about this place, Ubud can be very busy in the main area. This hotel is in the rice paddies a few minutes away but feels like it could be miles away. Paul (the owner) is an absolute delight and treats each guest like an old friend. He set up various day trips for us all last minute and they were wonderful. The restaurant on site is wonderful and the staff is delightful. I could not recommend this place more.

Luxury in Ubud

The Luxe Villas appears to be floating on the rice fields. A beautiful place to relax and unwind. Surrounded by rice fields in Ubud you approach the Luxe Villas by motor bike or on foot. This may not appeal to all but we can assure you it's you will enjoy your short ride on the back of a bike or the leisurely walk. The only sounds you hear are the ducks quacking or the roosters in the morning, no traffic noises. It's a pleasant walk to the main street of Ubud where you can find fantastic restaurants, cafes, bars and shopping. Hosts Paul and Grace along with staff members make you feel very welcome and part of the Luxe family. Breakfast served in Villa or restaurant was wonderful and the restaurant provided an excellent varied menu along with excellent service. We can certainly recommend Luxe Villas for your next holiday in Bali.

I stayed here for three days in the sky suite. The villa locates in a very good location. It's on a hill and in the middle of the farms. The Stuff can drive ppl to downtown for only 5 mins. The room is large and decoration is lovely. Stuff are very nice and polite. The owner Paul is considerable. I will surely recommend this villa to my friends.

Very nice boutique hotel with great food and staff

The hotel is excellent with very comforting staff and extradinary food (their cafe is rated as Top 1 in Ubud!). The room is clean and nice, with everything inside for quality. The rice field view just outside the room also makes the stay quite unique and relaxing. If anything not that perfect is the location of the hotel, which is outside of the main road so every time needs about 10-15mins of motorcycle transfer to the main road to get access to car/taxi. However, the staff there are very helpful and at your service anytime.
