A public beach between hotel and sea.
We stayed 2 nights - first night, had a local party in the beach with super loud music and talking until the sunrise next day.
I asked hotel if we could cancel the another night but was rejected.
The second night, no music but still noises from talking at the beach until 3am.

DO NOT STAY HERW IF YOU PLAN TO SLEEP AT NIGHT!!
We checked in on New Year’s eve with the intention of spending a quiet night on the balcony drinking a little wine. At 8:50pm, music from two stories below started blaring so loud we were chased inside the room where it was still extremely loud even with door closed. We asked for another room and didn’t get one, so we left and were told there would be no charge. But I followed up for several days only to be told we would be charged for our entire stay anyway. It was unreasonable amd I am still very angry.

We had a great time here. Lovely, quiet hotel. Everyone was so friendly. Our room was great. Beautiful view. Breakfast was included, and delicious. We had the beef tacos for dinner 2 times, delicious. Good drinks too. We would definitely stay here again.

The resort is dated, we were on the 4th floor and the elevator broke on the 1st day, my wife had recent knee surgery and the next 5 days had to walk up and down 108 stairs
There was very spotty internet, didn’t work almost the whole stay, wouldn’t access sny electronic device or work
Place is in a good spot but is in need of some repairs/upgrades, remodel for the price we paid

The room was clean and the Hotel was very elegant although it was kind of a faux elegance with Plastic moldings somewhat pretentious wallpaper. Disappointed that the pool was only half filled for whatever reason. The Jacuzzi on the roof terrace was marvelous.

Overall, the hotel was in a great location. The cleaning staff did an outstanding job, and everything was always spotless. The bellboys and the restaurant staff were also wonderful, always friendly and attentive.

However, there are two areas of opportunity. The first is the WiFi, which could be improved for a better guest experience. The second is the front desk staff. On several occasions, the two young ladies at reception seemed distracted and disengaged. There were multiple times I walked in, greeted them, and received no acknowledgment or only a brief “hello” without any eye contact. It came across as dismissive and unprofessional. A bit more attentiveness and genuine hospitality from the reception team would make a big difference.

We stayed 4 nights in this hotel and it was perfect! The location and the rooms are very calms (you cannot hear your neighbours). The dishes in the restaurant are very good and local. The view is amazing with a sunset everyday. A good place to chill

The hotel has potential but needs maintenance work to be done. The elevator was doing the whole weekend we were there. The workers need to know their city so they can provide recommendations of food and activities.
The hotel is in the far end so it’s away from ambience.
Overall, nice hotel.

My husband and I had a great time celebrating our anniversary here. We had an amazing room with a stunning view. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Check-in and checking out was a breeze. The food is ok. Not a fan of the over cooked omelette option for breakfast but they did have a good burger, chips and salsa was amazing as well as the guacamole. Unless you’re flying directly into La Paz, you will need a vehicle. We flew into Cabo and it’s a 2 and half hr drive to this establishment. Plenty of food options in the area so be sure to venture out. The hotel is super cute and older but very clean. It is very quiet during the day so we were able to relax poolside or on our upper decks. Beware…on the weekends, the locals come to the beach and have parties for gender reveal, proposals, maternity pics etc. around sunset. Unfortunately for my husband. He stayed up one night due to the loud noise from people partying on the beach until 4am. I would definitely return, but would ensure that my room is on the opposite end of the hotel.

Stayed here for a few days. Only thing I would say is that it’s not as kept as I anticipated. There’s like empty areas in the pool area which I feel could make it feel more luxurious if they were maintained and in service. There is like three bar areas that aren’t even used and the pool was dirty and had bugs in it. I don’t think the filters even cleaned it. As for the food and the room, very good. There was only one spider in my room but that’s all. The food was good and food portions as well. Staff was friendly and explained information well. I just feel this place seems a bit run down and could use some real love and attention and it could be really great.

The hotel has a great ocean view. Sunsets are beautiful. We enjoyed the restaurant at the hotel and the staff were great. Those are the Pros. The Cons: upon Check-In we were given a key and that was it. We had to ask how to use the elevator, as the design of it makes it hard to see the floor numbers. We didn’t find out until a couple of days later there are beach towel cards needed to get a towel. There was another part of the hotel with a pool and gym that we hadn’t explored. We were happy with the room because of the water views. We had a duplex with a hot tub, but there wasn’t any seating in the terrace as seen on the website. The hotel itself needs a facelift, including our room. There were holes and missing plaster. The paint was chipped in many places. The couch and chairs were stained. The curtains needed to be washed. The location of the hotel is not near Malecón. We asked for directions on the first night and the staff pointed us in the direction, but failed to mention it is easily a 30-35 minute walk. We found out the hard way and called an Uber half way through. The Front Desk staff are not very helpful. The person who gave us a tour of the hotel was the restaurant manager, Octavio. He have us dining recommendations and tour ideas. If anyone visits, they need to be proactive and ask for information. We had a good stay, but the hotel needs improvement.

The smell from the sewer overflowing in the street, nothing the hotel could do about. Coffee set up in the room had a $80 peso charge. During the night there was a loud party going on the beach in front of the hotel. Again nothing the hotel had control of.

The property is very well located, but there're a couple significant improvement opportunities in terms of the room's furniture condition, shower drain smell horrible condition and staff service attitude.
Also, from a cost-benefit standpoint, it is important to consider having coffee and water free of charges considering the cost per night.

The staff are extremely friendly. Andrea the receptionist was always happy to help with any of my inquiries.

The room was spacious and clean. The TV had several channels. Bathroom and shower were very nice. The bed was very comfortable. The view from the balcony was exceptional. The pool was clean and had several chairs/beds. We basically had the pool to ourselves for a handful of days.

Downtown is 5 min away via taxi/uber.

Only issues I had were: the walls are thin. I could hear chairs moving, showers turning on, people chatting/walking (I’m a light sleeper). The jetted tub in my room did not have hot water. It came out lukewarm at most.

Would stay here again. Great prices!

Expedia does not do this place & the room justice with their photos. It is not a 5 star resort but it’s also not a dingy hotel. It’s just an older property so some thing’s just are little outdated like in our room for example, there’s like cracks or chipped paint and then the pool is outdated but it’s such a vibe and feels amazing!! The beach is not the nicest part of the beach but it’s pretty. The rooms are really spacious and the beach view is beautiful !!!

The staff is so nice and welcoming, the restaurants food is soooo good, breakfast is included and it’s not just a normal continental breakfast, it’s an actual restaurant that it’s a food menu.

It’s about a 12 minute drive from malecon but easy to grab a cab or an Uber (front desk can help with a cab) and like 15mins from the airport.

There’s currently no property next door, and a couple properties down it’s just like an abandoned hotel but this hotel is right on the beach you have access to it from the pool !!

Overall I would rate it like 7/10!

This property was perfect for a quiet romantic couple's vacation. The staff are so sweet and helpful. The food was amazing. It felt homie and relaxing. The property could use a gift shop or little store for essentials guests may have forgotten. The property could use some upgrades to the outside furniture maybe choosing a more weather-resistant material. My only dislike is the birds that kept flying into the pool area. If there were a way to deter them from staying around that would be great. But overall we loved our stay and will be returning soon. The Spanish word La Paz means Peace in English; we certainly had that the week we were there. Thank you to the entire hotel staff.

Great friendly staff. As soon as we pulled up the bellmen were happy to help right away. Check in was easy. It was a nice surprise to see that the 2 bedroom was 2 stories with 2 balconies. Super spacious. The pool was very kid friendly. Easy direct access to the beach (which is rare in La Paz). Breakfast is included and is great. Staff was great. I would definitely stay hear again.

Furniture falling apart. No towels and when we asked they told us they didn't have anymore. Dirty beach towels. Took long to respond to our requests. Bathroom smelled so bad. Went to breakfast at 9 am they ran out of most food. (not many people here)

Do not stay here unless you bring your own towels. Our room did not even have a washcloth to dry our hands. We eventually got two bath towels which we had to hand over every morning to be washed and returned to us. We had to ask for toilet paper twice The breakfast was good and had a good selection. Dinner was mediocre and expensive. The bar is ok if you want a beer but the mixed drinks were not good. The staff was well aware of the towel situation and we were told there wasn’t anything they could do about it.

The beachfront location with nice, shallow pool and lounge areas, the room terrace, the convenient fridge in the room, and the onsite bar and restaurant were just what we wanted and worth it. The property is very nice, very large, and has amazing potential. It could use some sprucing up as it has quite a bit of deferred maintenance. I think this property is geared towards Spanish speakers as the staff's English was limited except for one young lady. The housekeepers worked their tails off every day. Breakfasts were unpredictable, but if you stick to eggs, you'll be okay. Not sure what my chilaquiles were trying to be....

Para comenzar, difieren de lo publicado aquí. No tienen servicio de recolección aeropuerto y de regreso, no tienen gimnasio y definitivamente no están a 15min de playa Balandra si no a 1hr. La habitación pareciera que la estaban arreglando, el clóset era de esos armados que apenas si cupo ropa para una persona, se cayó el porta toallas y el jacuzzi carecía de lo indispensable para un baño. No volvemos a ir y no recomiendo el hotel, conviene mejor ir a una cadena internacional hotelera conocida.

The employees are very accommodating. Rooms are quite unique having a second floor accessed by a circular staircase. Upstairs is another bathroom, lounge area and fillable tub. All rooms overlook the water. Its a unique small resort property and we enjoyed our stay. There is some minor remodeling being done as the property is almost 20 years old. Englebert Humperdink owned the property until 2003/4.

The property is damaged, old and not updated. The picturesdo not represent the conditions of the hotel common arras or its rooms.

The 2 room alternatives we were given were painted ( wuthin hours of our arrival) abd smelled like paint, with paint drops all over the floor, furtniture, bed covers and sofa.. the hotel advertises a gym but fhe gym has not been open since the pandemic ( according to bell boy) . We are asking for a refund

La Posada is a little run down and needs a lot of upgrading. Three chairs broke in our room during our five day stay. For the price of $191 per night you would expect a little more care. The pool was never vacuumed and the algae collected on the bottom of the pool. The outer area near the pool has a lot of clutter and the free breakfast was mediocre at best. However the service is excellent. The bar tender Antonio was always funny and pleasant. The front desk agent Jerald was always accommodating and wanted to make sure you were happy. Our room had a second level with a hot tub which was really nice. In the future, I would probably look for another hotel with better care though.

We stayed here and had excellent food at the restaurant and above FIVE STAR Service from Lui @ the front desk! We checked out super early to do an excursion only to find I had left my 3 wedding rings in out bathroom. Lui answered our call and put us on hold while she personally went to our room and found my treasures! She assured us they would be safe at the concierge desk and they were! 8 hours later we returned and they were locked away safely and packaged in an envelope. Great service-Amazing Surf n Turf and Fish dinner-lovely beach front pool. We highly recommend!!!

Excited to book a resort that is centrally located in La paz. When we arrived the front desk was friendly but new. The room had a staircase up to another room with a jacuzzi tub on the balcony and another bathroom. Breakfast was included. The only downside is the resort pool is only filled halfway so it goes maybe to my waist. That happens in July or the summer months. That was why we booked here, was for a big nice pool. So that was a bummer. I would rate it 3.5 stars because of the pool.

Not happy with our stay had to leave hotel. First off shower knob was not working water went all
over the place except where it needed to. Could not adjust it was hot. Secondly when we came back it appeared as someone had been in our room. Even the refrigerator had liquid spilled inside it. That was not there when we first arrived. Called front desk no one could come to help or check as he was the only one. But would tell morning shift. Door had not latch to keep closed. Se had to place a a chair in front of door in order to get some sleep. Told Ana we would not be staying and informed her of the issues she said she could not do anything and hotel was already paid. To take it up with Travelocity. She did offer another room but to be sincere we did not feel safe or comfortable staying.

NILOFAR

We booked here for two nights. Staff was not friendly. We didn’t have water in our room one day
No shower the breakfast is horrible. The bay is not swimmable. Yes chairs broken I would give this hotel a 4 out of 10 overall.
