The hotel is closed to a farm with many horses running and playing in the field. The hotel is clean and the room is bright. The room has a private washroom. The hotel provides free breakfast and dinner is available. Parking is easy. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. Will stay there again.

All good: staff, hot bath outside (albeit a bit too hot!), very good breakfast, tea/coffee and cooking available in the lobby at all times, but the shower floor design is flawed: the water rolls into the room from under the door. And there is no fridge.

There was hair on the blanket and also on the shower wall, as if this had not been cleaned so well. The walls are also a bit thin, so make sure to bring ear plugs or use a white noise machine. The hot tub was a nice amenity as well. Overall a decent stay.

All the rooms are on the ground level, which makes it easy to come and go. Wonderful breakfast with many options, even dried fruit. We enjoyed seeing the horses. Downside is the halls are tile, which was extremely noisy for rolled suitcases. Even with earplugs, I did not sleep well. Hot tub was not open during convenient hours.

My son and I spent three nights at this hotel. This is a hotel that caters to horse lovers and riders. Though we did not do any horse back riding, we did appreciate that each room was dedicated to a past or present horse on the premises. A plaque with the horse's name and other information was next to each hotel room. The room and bathroom were very clean. There is a restaurant on the premises for dinner and breakfast. The breakfast buffet was extensive and dinner was a la carte and delicious.

It was such a lovely stay. The horses were a highlight of our trip. Upon having to leave a bit early the staff made us breakfast bags for the next day. That was so wonderful and ended up being our biggest meal of the next day due to travel issues. Highly recommend and wish we could of stayed longer.

We enjoyed our one-night stay at Hotel Eldhestar. Our room was clean, staff were friendly, and the overall atmosphere was very cheerful. We went riding the next morning (my husband is not a rider!), which was also fun.

The staff was nice. Breakfast was good. But the room was the least favorite of my trip. There were no blackout curtains. Shower was like an animal stall shower. It said the room is heated but all it has is radiant floor heat. It wasn’t all that cold but I don’t think that quantifies as a “heated” room

The only area for improvement would be for some children’s meals for dinner, the menu is quite pricey otherwise, so we ate at a local Pizza place that the hotel recommended.

2nd time staying here, so I knew what to expect. The only difference this time was that one out of the 2 hot tubs was working. It was open from 4pm-10pm and was being used, i didn’t use it though. I would stay again.
