The hotel exterior and common areas need maintenance and better upkeep, the building has a feeling of being tired and worn. The room itself was lovely, comfortable beds and good aircon and a stunning view. Unfortunately it was at the end of a very grim hallway. The beach has \"opening hours\" and swimming is only permitted within a very small roped off area.

The beach front location is wonderful. Great views. However the condition of the property lets it down. The building is very old and whilst the rooms have been partially updated it doesn’t feel high end. We paid for three room occupants and the staff argued about providing enough towels and pillows for all three of us. Breakfast buffet was substandard. The indoor pool is missing tiles and had green slime in some parts. Overall a great location and a classic old hotel which needs considerable upgrades.

My partner and I stayed at the Moon Beach Museum Resort and it was magnificient, we actually got engaged to the far right of the beach and a little tip I would say is to go around the shore to the right as the waters are crystal clear. Great staff, room, location, close to restaurants and bars and for the price paid, it is a great hotel.

I absolutely loved my stay here. The staff is very accommodating. Although it is necessary to know that water sports and othet appointment type things mostly need a prior booking which we didnt know. But we werent there long sp we just enjoyed the facility. Its an absolutely beautiful spot. The breakfast buffet is great, but for dinner i recommend going down the way. Ocean Boo was incredible, but the other spots near by smelled amazing too. Definitely some late night eats available nearby in a pinch.

The moon beach museum resort is a literal slice of paradise!!!! I would absolutely stay again in a heartbeat. My husband and I went for our honeymoon during a three week trip to Japan, and after the hustle and bustle of Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka, it was the perfect way to finish our trip. The room was beautiful with an ocean view, the sand was white and the whole area gave Hawaii vibes. One day we went scuba diving and we used an outside company; the front desk staff helped us to schedule our excursion. The whole hotel feels like a dream. It's so gorgeous with greenery everywhere. There's even a salt water tank with tropical fish in the main hall. There are two pools, an indoor and outdoor pool, and of course the beach right there on the property. Walking distance from the hotel are tons of delicious restaurants and bars.

You have to pay to be on the hotel's private beach, it's so weird. The hotel is nice but it has seen better days. Breakfast buffet is ok but it's exactly the same everyday. Buffet dinner was crazy expensive (240$ CaD for 4) and not very good.

1.5 hrs from Naha ( downtown/ airport) , super nice beach front and nice local restaurants closeby (walking distance). Hotel aged and well kept. Need to plan ahead for airport transportation cause airport limousine bus runs only 4 times daily and you will need private taxi if you have early flight leaving which cost you a fortune. Good place to for staycation and honeymoon. Limited choice of restaurants, only one Japanese and the other one is buffet restaurant. Staff are friendly and helpful.

The hotel was built in 1975 and while the architecture continues to appeal, it has not been very well maintained. There is a lot of rust, peeling paint and chipped walls. Room has a lot of poor maintenance, for instance the bed bottoms were totally torn. The hotel staff speaks very rudimentary English and were not able to help with anything but the simplest requests for help. The breakfast is not particularly tasty, and one wonders why the sugary water is offered as a “juice”. Wifi coverage is very unstable and rather slow. And I haven’t even started talking about the school trip with dozens of kids that could have been seen and heard on the beach, in the restaurant, or at the pool.

It was a private beach so not too crowded. And you will really feel close to nature because on how its build. They are so accomodating and will help you in any way. It was close to bus station so you can visit other places even if you don’t drive or have a car with you. It was really an amazing experience to stay here.

FOREIGNERS BEWARE! We had an awful experience at this hotel, which is unfortunate because we were very excited to have access to a private beach and pools. These facilities do not allow tattoos (this information is NOT readily available at booking), so my husband was asked to put on a shirt while we were swimming. He went to the front desk to politely ask about this policy and was ridiculed by the staff (particularly the manager). They laughed at him and referred to him as \"gaijin\" (a slightly derogatory word for foreigner) multiple times. We live and work in Japan and understand the culture surrounding tattoos, as well as the negative feelings towards Americans due to the trouble historically caused by the U.S. military bases. However, this level of rudeness and blatant racism is unprecedented, especially in the hospitality industry.

Combined with the fact that the outdoor pool was closed and the other pools/beach had limited hours, we basically paid a steep rate to use our hotel room (which was nice, but out of date and had electrical issues) and swim/sit at the beach with clothes on.

We have had great trips to Okinawa before and plan to return many more times, but we will never book Hotel Moon Beach again. We were treated as an inconvenience rather than as customers, and clearly the quality of our experience is valued much less than that of Japanese guests.

Great hotel for families, lots of guests bring their family. I went with just my partner (no kids) and as long as you adjust your time to miss peak times it is really great and quiet.

Overall OUTSTANDING RESORT! 10/10 experience

My stay at Hotel Moon Beach was a very pleasant experience. During Christmas time, it was not super crazy busy. The weather was “cold” for Okinawa, but 20 degrees Celsius is very warm for a Canadian. The ocean water was “cold” but very swimmable. And bathing in the sun makes it that much more relaxing.
The ambience and exclusive beach really stand out for me. This is my second time in Okinawa, and first time at Hotel Moon Beach. I went with my Girlfriend, who’s first experience at a resort like this, and Hotel Moon Beach provides that total Resort Experience.
The Japanese Spa (onsen) is relaxing, Massage was great, and the walkable zones in the resort all provide a very tranquil and enjoyable time.
The food, just like many resorts, can be a bit salty and sweet. I recognize this is typical Resort style cooking, so nothing too amazing about the food, except that it satisfies hunger and needs.
There are many restaurants around the area which is walking distance, which come out to roughly the same cost. Just different experiences.
The food serves its purpose and is good for what it is.
I would rate the food 7.5/10
The staff were very friendly and approachable. They did their best to provide proper instruction and direction in English. Which I can feel they genuinely cared about making sure to answer our questions.

The Beach and the Activities are TOP NOTCH! I did the Hover board, and is more difficult than it looks, the staff was very supportive.

This is my second visit. Quite an old building but all are clean and tidy. Staff is super helpful. We were particularly impressed that the first desk staff helped us rushing for the bus to Naha, without which we would have to wait for 3 hours. Quick thinking earning us time to do extra shopping in the city. Very spacious site with a variety of activities to choose from. Beach is superb. Will definitely pick the same hotel I am to visit Okinawa again.

Hotel is in a great location but is very overpriced for the room quality. Rooms need a renovation at these prices. Looks like no room improvement since it was built in 1975. I’m sure it was modern then but not now. The safe was a combination lock like my suitcase. No free water. Had to pay for parking. No English Tv or cable, only Japanese. However room was very clean and bed was comfortable I would not recommend this hotel.

Wonderful Hotel Moon Beach

Hotel Moon Beach was way more than we expected! It was so tropical and beautiful! The hotel it’s self is vast with big open spaces. The Beach was clean and beautiful, and the ocean water was clear to the floor. You could see lots of fish swimming around. The pool was nice at sunset. We had a sunset BBQ which was all you can eat and you can watch a Tahitian and Hula show while you eat. Also you can see the beach from the BBQ area. Over all the hotel, staff and everything was 100%! We’re definitely going back soon!

The hotel was large, accommodating and had many areas and things to enjoy.

It was clean, staff was courteous, and the beach activities were plenty.

My only complaint would be that the swimming facilities close rather early and our room wasn’t facing the beach so our balcony view was just a bunch of bushes but it’s not such a big deal.

Overall, a nice place to stay and enjoy the beach.

Staff are friendly and polite. They were very helpful, answering all our questions.
The food was excellent at the buffet, not cheap, but we got a discount. The beachfront is beautiful and we wish the weather was better so we could have enjoyed it more.
My wife especially liked the way the bathroom was set up with the shower location outside the bathtub, and the deep bathtub was relaxing.

The hotel is very old and outdated, very outdated. Guess can use the pool but need to pay for the beach towels. This is the first time I heard hotel not providing beach towels. Very unprofessional. Bathroom is very bad. Air conditioning is bad. A lot of ram and stairs together, very dangerous, easy to trip. Need to pay for the lounge chair on the beach, never heard anything like that for a private beach, only see the fees charge in public beach. Don’t consider a 4 stars hotel. I’ll never go back.

Situated on a street full of restaurants, Lawson & Family Mart are both at hotel's doorstep. Big, clean hotel with good facilities. It was cold and windy so we did not go down to the beach. Good sea view. Traditional Japanese public bath at a small extra cost.

Schone en ruime kamer en prachtig uitzicht. Doordat er veel planten waren in het hotel kwamen er in de avond ook meer kakkerlakken te voorschijn. Behalve van dat was het geweldigg en het zwembad en strandje bij het hotel was perfectt zeker een aanrader als hotel.

50年ぐらい前に一度宿泊した事があり、ものすごく古いホテルとの認識があったのですが、今回沖縄在住の友人に薦められ宿泊してみました。結果、大満足でした。クラブフロアに宿泊しました。リニューアルされていてお部屋も清潔、朝食も美味しく、プールも良く、お部屋からの眺めも最高。スタッフの方も皆さんとても感じが良かったです。部屋の外は古さが否めませんが、レトロな感じもまた良く、欧米のお客さんが多かったせいか、ちょっと海外のホテルのような感じもしました。欲を言えば、クラブフロアのフードがもう少し充実していたらもっと嬉しかったです。また訪れたいホテルでした。

2일동안 아침과 저녁 뷔페식을 이용했는데, 기본적인 음식 외에도 매일 약간의 변화있는 메뉴들이 있어서 질리지 않고 맛있게 먹었어요.

・レストランのクオリティは価格相応だが、価格を少し上げてでもメニュー数を増やす若しくは連泊者を意識してローテーションの幅を広げられているとよかった
・客室内の虫（特にアリ）は気になった。沖縄というロケーション、自然が屋内施設と調和している館内仕様から、ある程度は仕方ないとおもうが、改装時に何かしらの対策が講じられているとよかった。

호텔이 모양이 길어서 끝방으로 가면 조금 먼 느낌이 들수있고 복도에는 에어컨이 없어서 더웠지만 자연친화적인 느낌이에요~
룸에는 에어컨 시원하게 틀어져있고 상당히 넓고
테라스까지 있어서 답답한 느낌 1도없어요!
직원분들도 너무 친절하시고 서비스도 너무 좋아서
진짜 최고였어요~
실외수영장 운영시간이 길지않아서 좀 아쉬웠지만
안전요원도 있고 관리도 잘되어서 좋았음
조식쿠폰으로 조식이나 중식을 먹을 수 있는데
개인적으로는 메뉴 구성이나 나오는게 중식이 더 좋았습니다 ㅎㅎㅎ

두번째 숙박이예요!!
호텔이 높지 않고 옆으로 커서 이동하는데 좀 많이 걸어야해요!!
하지만 이거 하나 빼고는 직원분들도 너무 친절하고 조식 석식 다 돈 안아까워요!!
수영장도 놀기 넘 좋고 암튜브도 빌려줘요~
다음에 또 이 호텔에 묵을 것 같아요

マンモスホテルには無い、小ぢんまりとはしながらも、だからこその良さがある、歴史ある日本の日本人のためのホテルだと感じました。
清掃スタッフも現地の方が多くとても信頼できます。
うるさい人種の方々には来てほしく無い、落ち着いたホテルです。
日本人の皆さん、是非良さを実感して応援してあげてください。
素敵な時間と空間をありがとうございました。

大人4人家族で宿泊。8年ほど前に宿泊したことがあり古いけれど良いホテルなのは知っていた、今回クラブラウンジをつけたが、ビールは瓶で一番搾り。赤白ワイン、ウイスキーだけ。食べ物も海老、ハム、海ぶどうの3種類のみ。金額に見合わない。前泊した那覇のホテルラウンジが充実していただけにガッカリ。返金して欲しいくらい。(2泊分の料金で1泊)
和洋室の部屋だったが畳に敷かれた布団が小さく大人が寝るには狭すぎた。

歴史を感じるホテルでハワイアンな雰囲気が好きです。チェックイン時の説明がほとんどなく不安になりました。QRの情報ももう少し詳しくしてほしかったです。広い施設なだけに。
