Hotel location is great in City Center. It is a very safe area with many restaurants close by. BTS Skytrain is walking distace. Road noice and noice from Skytrain can be a challenge at night to go to sleep. Also , they required 2000 Bhat cash deposit for 2 nights. They don't accept credit card for deposit

On arrival, the parking attendant was very friendly in the parking lot. There was no space in the small parking lot because of a meeting, but diagonally opposite the hotel is a large parking lot for 40 baht per hour. After 2 hours, the parking attendant called that there was space. Check-in went perfectly with a friendly lady. The room is large and has a good bed. The bathroom only had a bath that you can also shower in. The room and especially the bathroom could use a renovation. There was no WiFi connection in the room, which was on the seventh floor. Installing amplifiers would be a solution. The breakfast buffet is large and very tasty. This chef can prepare dishes with great taste. We will definitely come back for the price-quality ratio.

Best hotel experience I ever had. The staff was amazing, especially the house cleaning. They taught me some Tai and always had extra towels for me. They so kind.

Major thanks to the door staff for always bring my Grab food to me. That’s top tier hotel quality. I hope to stay here again just for that.

Lo malo: la ducha.l La temperatura del agua nunca se pudo regular, o te quemabas o te congelabas, no llegué nunca a la temperatura ideal.

The room I got was nothing like the picture and the bed was hard as rocks.
Girl on reception wasn’t exactly most pleasant and I felt she showed she hated her job.
Wifi is waste of time.
Breakfast was a pass but nothing special more staff standing around greeting you at the door than clearing tables and cleaning.
I wouldn’t stay here again

Good value for money hotel

The hotel offers good value for money and is conveniently located near a train station that provides easy access to all of Bangkok. A 10-minute train ride will take you to Sathorn Pier, where you can take a boat on the river. The hotel has an extensive and delicious breakfast buffet, and the parking attendant and cleaning crew are super friendly and helpful.

I used to stay in this hotel more than a decade when holiday in Bkk. This yr i'm totally upset n unhappy w my stay here.
Customer service and integrity has dropped tremendously. Counter staff did not pick up phone calls in middle of the night. Have to call 3 times w long wait. When asked to speak to duty manager, i was informed to self call when manager reports work at 9am!! Counter staff should be retrained in hotel hospitality.Security not tightened. Hotel used to have duty security to assure only registered guests stays overnight. On 17 Aug, i was woke up by noise pollution from 3 plus am where china nationals dia opp invited outside friends into room drinking n speaking loudly till 5 plus am. ( i personally witnessed room guest left 5 plus am from my room peeping hole ) Affected my peaceful sleep. Doubtful cleaniness: Witnessed cleaning staff threw bath towels on the floor n act as floor mat in one of the opened rooms when performing room services.Noise polluted corridors by working staff: There is no initiatives from hotel staff that guests are resting in their room. Staff raised voices anytime they like at their own freedoom along staircase area n along corridor outside guests room. They were like villa shouting over from one mountain to another. Irresponsible attitude : Emailed hotel to follow up noise pollution in above mentioned issues to improve on 17 Aug am during my stay n expecting reply b4 i left 19 Aug, there is no response, even when i checked out at counter.

The location and price was perfect for my visit. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff were wonderful. The rooftop pool was an amazing relief and the breakfast buffet was exquisite. The only negative for me really was that my card key for for my room failed several times over my stay requiring the hotel to have to get the engineers to help getting me into my room. It was only a minor issue but quite frustrating. I would stay here again though.

I arrived at 9pm, at residence hotel, i was checked in room 808, a disaster, horible condition washroom practically unusable totally in contrast to the website pictures. I complained to the front desk to no avail. Next morning i talked to the manager Mr. Kay, he inspected my room and gracefully agreed to change my room to 314. Much better condition however not without its own issues. 1- No internet wifi signal which until i left was not rectified. I used all my data. Shower water temperature control was not working, either burning hot or cold nothing in between. Aircon was not working properly and was filled with black mold. Mr. Kay fixed all issues, but the he was terminated before he could fix the wifi. Kay was the only person who helped me and was extremely courteous and friendly he was an asset. Breakfast and the service was excellent. Room service also excellent.

The property is in a great location right next to the BTS station Chong Nonsi. Theroom was cleaned daily and was spacious enough. The only issue I had was with the water temperatures in the shower and thesink tap. There was only slightly warm water coming out of the sink and either scolding hot water or cold water in the shower as the waters wouldn't mix to change the temp. Other than that though, I enjoyed my stay.

The hotel is in good condition, the staff are really friendly, the breakfast is great, lots of choice on the buffet.
The pool is cute, but fairly small and a was chilly. Good position with transport on the doorstep, walkable to Silom and lots of restaurants nearby. 👍😊
The downsides are the internet was really slow, so not good for trying to steam anything!! There were supposed to be 10 English speaking channels, but only found 2 obscure ones and the walls were quite thin so could here are neighbors which wasn't good particularly as there was a family next door with a young child 😧

Check in wasn't good, took quite a while, partly because there was quite a few people checking in, but also because the 3 people on reception seem to be serving the same booking, rather than each of them serving separate bookings!
The hotel has good facilities and a great buffet breakfast!

This wasn’t for me , location was good it was where I wanted to be but the road noise Just got to me being a light sleeper so I left 2days early and moved on , basic room with some maintenance issues , so bedside lights they were just missing , blinds didn’t close all way so you have the street lights and shower was cold .
If your after a 1 night stop great but personally I wouldn’t stay much longer

Glad to see they’ve finally addressed some of the cosmetic issues…but the improvements are strictly cosmetic. The hotel needs a serious upgrade; esp. since their prices have gone up and they seem to have switched to a no cancellation/no refund/pay full in advance policy.
But the location! Cannot beat the location for access to BTS and dining/massage options

Convenient location to nearby shopping area. Breakfast should have different choice daily, stayed 4 nights and seeinv similar dishes, a bit disappointed. Miss the duck noodles they used to serve. Dun like the idea of paying deposit 2k baht in cash upon arrival, used to be payable in credit card previously. Also used to issue 2 access cards per room, but currently cut to 1 card only.

I stayed for 2 nights and I absolutely love the location as it’s just right by the Chong Nonsi BTS station. Not only that, I was literally 5-8mins away from Sathorn Sq where I gymmed. The attendant who helped me with my luggage during my early check-in and late check-out was amazing! The only down sides are: 1) the window latch that can be easily opened is extremely hazardous for toddlers; 2) the furnishings were really old.. However, I’ll be staying at the Sora Hotel during my upcoming visit. However, if the management will refurbish, I’ll definitely stay again!

Internet is too slow for modern day uses and is unstable on top of slowness. Shelves in rooms extremely dusty. Almost everything in room broken ( shower shelf, shower head, desk lighting, safe, hot water heater). Requested room change after first night because internet would not connect. Was told I could but had to check out of room and wait until 2pm for new room. Second room had almost identical issues. Didn’t bother to address with staff because it is clear this is a property that was nice in the beginning but it shows what happens when you don’t invest in maintenance and upkeep on a property. They clearly are there just to receive as much money as possible and reinvesting very little. The one good aspect is the BTS Chong Nonsi is directly in front of the hotel.

Thankfully, location and accessibility can’t be diminished by the condition of the hotel. Always something broken or breaking at this place. Couldn’t access the elevator lobby without security for three days (card key issues) and, apparently, they’ve gone to a every third day cleaning schedule. They’ve never gotten their water issue fixed so, if you like anything other than cold or lukewarm showers, this is not the hotel for you.
Oh yeah, and if you choose the ‘pay at hotel’ option , exii of etc your card to be charged days BEFORE you arrive.

Location is excellent. Right across from Chong Nonsi BTS station. Not too busy area. And a 7/11 right below the hotel. Room was comfortable and clean. Staff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast was vast and satisfying, although for westeners limited options, but for locals and east Asians, quite good. However, as others have stated, internet connection is horrible in the rooms.

Book a premium deluxe room for 7 nights.
Only one card key per room without negotiation, stated by the upnose front desk female supervisor . ( all rooms are fully booked and hotel new policy only one room per card key). Solved your problems , not their if there are 2 guest going different location.. Furthermore, lobby door has to activate by card key.
No coffee table and water kettle is leaking.Hot shower water is cold.Stand and drink or eat your beverage. While watching tv. Think twice b4 booking.
Unless desperate for the hote location near the BTS.
l As a hotel guest, should desrved a good service not at their poor service mangement.

I've stayed at this hotel 8 times in the last 3 years. There has always been a problem with water temp. This trip was 3 days of ice cold showers. 3 complaints to management resulted in no resolution....although morning of checkout I did get about 3 minutes of warm/hot water (this was after my 3rd complaint the night before)

My review comments relate to the construction sounds throughout the day. The construction was not known at the time of the booking. I spent significant time in the room trying to read and complete writing assignments, but the sound was annoying. A sign in the elevator said thank you for your patience and understanding. I lost my patience after a few days.
