This was my second time staying here. The room is spacious, there is a kitchen, and I like the bathtub on the balcony. The staff are all friendly and work quickly. The breakfast is delicious and the menu changes slightly every day. There are many shortcuts from the hotel, so you can avoid traffic jams and it is in a quiet area. The room was cleaned well and kept clean. It is a 5-minute walk to the nearest convenience store, but if you just want a drink, the vending machine next to the lobby entrance is very convenient. I look forward to staying here again.

Superb hotel in great location

Superb hotel in great location in central Silom near almost everything a tourist could want. I booked a Premier room for 3 nights and was delighted when the young lady receptionist offered me an Executive room on the top floor which had an amazing view. 2 slight negatives. The sauna’s did not work and my room had a mini kitchen but no crockery etc.

Rooms were old and worn but service was good. We originally were placed in a smoking room in a bad location - double bad. They immediately moved us to an upgraded room in a nonsmoking area which we appreciated. We appreciated their willingness to help call taxis and the location was great, just a quick walk to food and the skytrain station!

VERY SCARY. The doorbell rang at my room. I saw a person in the keyhole and thought it must be my friend who was in another room. I opened the door and a man pushed to get in. I pushed back and he kept his hand in the door. He said he came to get his things. He said he would only take one thing. It went on for several minutes. We called the front desk. Eventually he realized he could not get in and removed his hand from the door. The front desk sent a bellhop with a baggage cart. I told him to get the police and find the thief. The front desk called and said they could not call the police because they didn’t have the details. I told them to get all staff to look for the thief and remove him. I heard much talking in the hallway for a while. I think staff was asking someone to leave the building. There was no further information from the front desk on the situation. This response is not sufficient. In the morning the front desk had only heard that a man got the rooms mixed up. The night manager must have been covering his mistakes. Very poor communication and response. The guest who let him in the building should have been removed. The manager must do a full security assessment and implement a plan including security improvements and staff training. Day manager said he would investigate. They said there was no footage from security cameras. Very poor response and second night was not comfortable after this.

Definitely not the newest hotel and much is in need of updating, but I had a comfortable and quite pleasant week-long stay here. The rooms are very spacious with comfortable beds, the staff are all friendly, helpful, and professional, it’s very clean, and the location is very convenient. On the downside, a lot of the furniture and furnishings show their age and the elevator is very slow. All in all, I would happily stay here again!

Furamaxclusive - ‘xclusive’ suggests this property is going ti be a cut above the rest.

How wrong I was to book here.

Property dated… facilities poor … building work ongoing … noise terrible … pool area tiny … sauna broken with a note in the door … overall, so disappointed by this property … couldn’t wait to check out and move to the Trinity Silom complex opposite … such a difference there …

Another great stay at my 'home' in Bangkok. A hard to beat location coupled with friendly, unobtrusive service. Yes, the hotel is a bit dated and perhaps (just a tad) frumpy and old-fashion, but rooms are very spacious, clean and comfortable and everything works pretty well. Some renovation and refreshing exercise is currently going on - but it doesn't disturb the peace. IMO, compared to the many 'new kids on the block', where rooms are tiny, cramped and cost more, (albeit more modern and stylish), the Furama Xclusive Sathorn is a far better bet.

Perfect location and clean hotel.

I have stayed in this part of Bangkok before and liked the look of this hotel. Very impressed with the happy staff and location. The breakfast was lovely. Rooms were clean and spacious. My only small cons was the noisy AC which I just couldn’t adjust. Other than that highly recommended.

Back again, and happy with it!

Another stay at my preferred 'home' whenever I'm in BKK. Yes, the hotel is looking more tired, but it's still my go-to - the unobtrusive service provides for calm and privacy of stay, yet makes you feel very at home at the same time. My only grouse would be reading lights/lamps in the room : inadequate lighting at writing desk and also for reading in bed.

Second time staying here. Staff were friendly as usual. However, there was 1 night staff who was not too friendly.

Hot water seems to be working intermittently which can be irritating at times if you want to take a warm shower after a night out.

Walking distance to Chong Nongsi and Saladeang station. Will come back again if the price is right.

Property looked nothing like the photos. Dust was accumulated on the top of the tables and dresser in the room to the point I could run my fingers through the dust and create an image. Room constantly smelt like smoke even though it was claimed to be a non smoking floor. When we told the front desk how dirty the room was, nothing was done to alleviate the issue. I do not recommend staying at this hotel.

Stayed here for 2 nights. It is walkable distance to Saladaeng station, Chongnonsi station, and Silom station. There are also many street food vendors along the nearby streets, and quite a few cafes and food stalls too.

Bed and air conditioning was comfortable. Pool, gym and sauna is not a busy place, which is a plus.

Staff were always smiling, courteous and friendly. However, I did experience issues with the shower. The first shower I took there was hot water if it was left running for about 20 mins. However, this trick did not work for subsequent showers till I checked out. I only informed the reception upon check out.

Will stay here again if hot showers was not an issue.

Great location! This place has everything you need without all the bells and whistles. If you want a 5 star resort, then find something else. If you want an excellent 4 star hotel with breakfast, a decent pool, gym and the best location in Sathon, then this is the place! Quiet place off the major roads too. Close to BTS, restaurants and shopping! The lobby driver is the nicest guy ever! Mr. Hello Kitty. They offer tours (but a little pricy). The breakfast is great too!!!

The room looks so different from the picture advertised. There is a moldy smell upon entering the room. And the bedsheet got small ants and some pubic hairs. Totally disgusting. But the staff is very attentive. When ask to change the bedsheet they came immediately.

Was very happy with my stay at Furama Xclusive Sathorn. Been more than 2.5 years since my last stay and I was happy to be back. Yes, the rooms are a bit dated and could do with a refresh, but it was still comfortable, clean and nearly everything was in working order (bedside lamp was not working). Also, the writing desk needs to have a table lamp - the area was a bit dark - not exactly the best condition lighting conditions to get work done. Staff as helpful and friendly, while still respecting guests' need for privacy.

Its a nice hotel. Its a bit outdated. But thats ok 1 major issue tho. Its 2022. Internet connection is a must for any hotel. The internet was VERY bad here. It would disconnect alot and god forbid i was working and not just on vacation.

The staff were very nice. Mostly in house keeper lady. She was always nice and very friendly.

Run down but still a good value

The FuramaXclusive is a good value for a 3-star hotel in a great location near shopping and public transport. But it's tatty furniture and dilapidated fixtures give away that this hotel left behind its supposed 4-star rating long ago. Its WiFi is impossibly unreliable—you'll need a good cellular data connection to survive. Its kitchenettes come with no utensils or dinnerware, only a couple of coffee mugs. And the graciousness typical of Bangkok hotels was apparently also cut to trim costs. But if you set your expectations properly, it's still worth it.

Okay 1-day quarantine (Test & Go) hotel

The hotel is on the older side but very clean. I stayed there for 1 night as part of the \"Test and Go\" scheme. Much of the room was wrapped in plastic for hygiene/cleaning purposes. The hotel provided van transport from the airport, COVID PCR testing on site, as well as 3 meals. The meals were not great, unfortunately. They were usually the cheapest options available in a Thai restaurant -- rice, a small portion of stir-fried meat/fish, a serving of sliced fruit. What the hotel should do is charge a little bit more for its 'Test & Go' package (a couple of hundred bahts more?) and provide nicer meals. When people are stuck in a hotel room, the meals become very salient! Fortunately, you can order food delivery via Grab, etc.

I’ve stayed at the hotel many time this last time I thinking how the hotel has gone down . The breakfast is not up to standard before it was good lots to choose from for both foriner and Thai . Now not very good . Also the cable company they use is no good same as before many channels to choose from for movies and news stations . Now only fox movie Chanel . And no foriner news . I think the owners need to step up and make the hotel good again . The cleaners need help not much in staff .

We booked this hotel for 2 nights for our first visit to Bangkok. The location was good - very close to Chong Nonsi Skytrain station. It’s about a 7 minute walk from Patpong Night Market, and there are always plenty of tuktuks available outside. The rooms were clean and spacious and quiet, and the beds were very comfortable. My children went to the pool and said it wasn’t heated and was quite cold which was a surprise.

If booking with children, be aware that older children may not be considered as children. We had our 15 and 12 year old sons with us - admittedly, they are tall for their ages. However, when booking through Hotels.com, we had to enter their ages at the time of booking and we also had to hand over their passports on arrival so the hotel were fully aware of their ages. On our second morning when we went down to breakfast, the restaurant manager said that we would have to pay more as they were too big to be children. I ended up speaking to reception about it because as far as I was concerned, I had booked 2 rooms with breakfast for 2 people in each room and they knew their ages. Reception didn’t make us pay any more but the restaurant manager wasn’t happy about it. Apart from that, all the staff were very friendly and helpful. There was quite a choice for breakfast but not the best I’ve had.

The staff are really fantastic, always a smile and so helpful if you need anything. We have stayed here twice already and have booked our next holiday there. The rooms are a good size. The room we have had tea and coffee and a kitchenette and a big refrigerator. The housekeeper lady was very good and helpful. The hotel is in a good position with just a few minutes walk to Chong Nonsi sky train station.

Nice place but without hot water.

Hotel is at good location. 3-4 minutes walk to BTS. Hotel is clean. I've got upgraded to bigger room. The breakfast is nice. One big complain is that hot water is never available. I mean it will get out warm for a minute or so. Then you're left with cold water. I might be unlucky but that's the experience and I don't like that given the amount I've paid for.

Spacious rooms are clean and comfortable, although the wooden furnishing has seen better days. Safely tucked away from the hustle and bustle, yet in a fantastic, convenient location with everything you need within easy access. Needless to say, the staff are warm and helpful - really a cherry on the cake!

The location is not ideal if you want to visit all the sightseeing places. The shower is pathetic. The water pressure in shower is awful. Hot water gets either too cold or too hot. The hotel reception said that they only give 2 bottles of drinking water per day which is really cheap and disappointing. The room wasn't cleaned properly either. Had to ask for sheets to be changed before it was done. They don't provide you soap either everyday. Had to ask for one. I would not recommend this hotel. Stay somewhere else!

Hotel room was big but i have a problem with the shower heater... it is either too hot or too cold and could never get the right temperature. Would be good if an additional table lamp or lighting could be placed/installed at the table which is pretty dark due to the room lighting. Overall a good stay.

I booked a Deluxe Room which per the description on Hotels.com (and later I found on Furama Official Website) was supposed to have a sofa in the bedroom. When I checked in, the first thing I noticed was there was no sofa in the room! Called the reception and brought up the issue but was told “the sofa is only for Premier Room”!!. I brought up that the photos and info show a sofa in Deluxe Room but I was told by the hotel reception that they are not responsible for the photos and I should contact the agency that I booked the hotel with!! No customer service whatsoever by Furama which left me no other option but the bed to sit on. This is all aside from the wait time of nearly 30 minutes for them to prepare the room when I checked in at almost 2:30 pm (30 minutes passed the check in time)!! Many thanks to the great customer service of Hotels.com for taking care of the issue right away when I called them for help!!
