Very convenient to walk to good restaurants/spas and shopping. Easy pickup for excursions. Checkout at 11:am. We had a very late flight out and the manager was very kind to let us keep our luggage until ride to airport arrived. He also arranged for a driver when needed. We already talked about staying here again. Recommended.

While this property is older, it is well kept. Thoughtful touches such as the bed on the balcony were much appreciated as I spent plenty of time out there taking in the sun and jungle views throughout the day.

Beautiful balcony backing onto nature and sunrise. Very quiet. There is a bed with net out in the balcony but need bugs spray if staying outside. Very unique nature experience. Not for someone with mobility issue as steep stairs to get down to the property + climb into stone bathtub for shower that is uneven to stand on. Overall nice stay with friendly staff. A bit out of the way from central Ubud for meals but quick 1.2km grab ride. Don't attempt to walk as non existence side walk are dangerous.

The staff was very welcoming and kind. The rooms were very spacious with beautiful views. Breakfast was always served on time and was good. My only issue was the fans outside didn’t work so we weren’t able to enjoy the view as much as it was very hot. The lizards were also quite loud at night which was a bit annoying (of course not the hotels fault). Otherwise it was a great stay and I’d recommend it.

This property is beautiful! Each villa is a wonderful open space that’s very comfortable. The staff is all very friendly and helpful. The pool is stunning, set in a garden area over looking the jungle. Breakfast was also great! I can highly recommend Sunrise Villa if you’re looking for your own oasis in Ubud!

The room I got did look like the one in the pictures except it was dated, rundown, the floors were not clean when I arrived and there were ants all over the bathroom. I was given a can of insect repellent and told to spray the bathroom and close the door before I went to bed. On the flip side, the outdoor living room had some amazing sunrises.

The room was spacious and.came with a wonderful balcony that had a beautiful view of the valley. The pool was lovely. The location was solid; there were several convenience stores and restaurants within a five minute walk, and the center of Ubud was only 15-20 minutes on foot.

The Sunrise Villa is just what we wanted for our 10 day stay. Great location and quiet. Spacious room with a stunning outlook to the Champhuan ridge. The staff were friendly and helpful and the pool was a lush oasis. I would definitely stay here again. Loved it.

The room is dusty and never been vacuumed, I developed annoying cough every time time I stay inside. The bedsheet, and pillows smells, we need to spray alcohol to mask it. Everyday we get bug bites as natural tattoo. Lastly, taking shower was a pain because their shower head is pointing horizontally, so I need to tie it to point diagonally downward or ask someone to bathe you LOL.. We were planning to stay another week in panoramic room, but going through this is too much to bear.
But to be fair, their breakfast is good. Not so fancy but ok. The office staff is friendly and approachable.

A beautiful room and pool over looking the jungle, so relaxing. Staff were wonderful, delivering a delicious breakfast to the room each morning. There was bottled water available in the room. They organised a taxi to pick me up at the airport for about $40AUD. Nice quiet area with some good restaurants, about 20 min walk into the centre of ubud.

Checkin office closed upon arrival & taximan had to contact the host to ask about room info (wiFi password/facilities).
When we wanted to shower, we had no hot water as the gas cannister that fed the boiler was empty. We had no contact details for the host so had to call the taximan for help.
Room was very loud, we heard EVERYTHING from other guests. Also the air-con units were located next to our room, so if other guests had their air-con on, it was loud.
outdoor bathroom often had bugs/cockroaches and smelled of drains.
On arrival our towels smelled damp (and were not changed during our 6 night stay) & the soap dispenser & toilet paper ran out & were not replenished.
Our room had a kitchen, including a stove & cutlery. There was no pan/kettle to put on the stove so this was redundant. There were bugs in the water dispenser.
A daily breakfast was delivered to the room, which was nice. The actual timings of delivery Vs requested time vary by 60-30 mins & food might be cold.
Wifi only worked on the patio.
There weren't always staff around, but lots of random people knew where we were. Example: the airport taximan suggested an excursion. We paid the guide the agreed price but after dropping us off he came to our villa room to ask for more money which was intimidating & we weren't sure how he knew which room we were in. It felt unsafe

This is a lovely place to stay. I had a panoramic room and the view was lovely. Large room, large balcony, lovely relaxing pool and so quiet even though it wasn't far off the main road. I would definitely recommend for a stay in Ubud

For a 3 star and the amount you get for your money - excellent! Would definitely stay again. Lovely breakfast and very nice staff. There were a few little bits that could do with improving, the bed sheets smelt a bit damp and the bathroom tap sprays out at a funny angle getting you wet if you’re not careful. It’s also very steep stairs to get down to the bottom room, not a problem for us but if you were less mobile this would be a problem. Regardless, it’s got a beautiful pool and view overlooking a jungle valley, would recommend

Had to cancel our accommodation on arrival due the huge amount of steep stairs to our room. The room was excellent and the staff were friendly and helpful and understood the medical issue (knee replacement) with the steep steps to the accommodation . Cannot fault the staff but recommend good knees and fitness to stay here.

He and Adi and all the staff were lovely and friendly, The little infinity pool was quiet and private, and overall it really was a fantastic stay. The Villa is amazing, bathroom area is beautiful, the terrace is very spacious for daily yoga sessions or just naps, and it has a cool view of the Campuhan Ridge Walk. Service is very good, not obnoxious but helpful. The grounds are lush and tropical, breakfast is yum yum! The price is right. Location requires a bit of a walk (30 min) to the center, or a quick scooter ride. Although, there are a lot of places to it nearby, so you don’t feel isolated

For a quieter Ubud and amazing views
Pros: This was our second stay at Sunrise Villa Ubud. The view was an absolute joy, service was brilliant (albeit the very recent transition to new management). Sunrise Villa is located about a 15 minute walk away from the chaotic Ubud Central, on a quieter street lined with the best art galleries, great dining options (don't miss Elephant, Dumbo, Indus, Sareng Sareng, etc.) and spas. Also parallel to Campuhan Ridge Walk.
Cons: Furniture a little old, albeit quaint. Ben linen had bit of a musty smell, could be upgraded for a more comfortable stay! :)

Lication and the view are excellent. Feel like you’re in the middle of the nature surrounded with plants but you are still very near the centre and very easy to reach any place in Ubud. The balcony bed it’s very nice you can enjoy the sunrise the moonrise. The space in front of the rooms and the villas are really nice. Very beautiful., nice pool.
