Not good enough

Lots of issues with this place.
1. Cars can’t access the property. You have to walk up a LOT of stairs with your bags in 35deg. When we got there they said “call us next time, we’ll help”. How about you tell us that before? Terrible communication. Anyone with any disability or even just can’t slog up 40 stairs in 35 deg can’t stay here.
2. In our 4 days there the wifi worked ONE day, intermittently. When we went to ask one day they said “oh it’s out all day, we know that maybe tomorrow” So they knew and didn’t bother to inform us. Again, comms suck.
3. “Restaurant” was closed first 2 days, then the food was awful.
4. They have a golf buggy to take you to a taxi area. They are always late and some of the drivers won’t even go up the ramp -just more slogging in 35deg
5. The villa had a small lounge area but it was open to the environment. So, as a family we could sit in our individual rooms or we could sit in the mosquito ridden lounge. With no tv (wifi based) and one small couch.
To be fair, it was quiet and having our own pool was great.
They can fix these issues but we won’t stay there again or recommend

Return visit and now missing Ubud heaven already

This was a return visit. I managed to get the same villa as the last time. The staff here simply are awesome, they cannot do enough to help you. The surroundings are serene and tranquil. The services from laundry to buggy drop are fantastic. Great selection of breakfast options and food during day. 15 min walk to central Ubud. Perfect home from home. See you next April guys. An amazing experience

Loved the one bedroom pool villa. We requested the villa which had the most privacy and we were happy with what we received (muslim couple). Pool was surprisingly large and the food at the restaurant was very nice. With the complementary breakfast there are a range of options to choose from as well as choice of juice, fruit and tea/coffee. The floating breakfast in the pool was a unique and enjoyable experience. Other services available were room service style spa, laundry and free buggy service. We really enjoyed our honeymoon welcome the entirety of the stay. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. As you are in Ubud there are a lot of insects and harmless gecko’s. There is a net around the bed to protect against mosquitos.

Lovely traditional villa, very clean although the garden area could do with more regular pruning/mowing. There was supposed to be a small rice field next to my pool however it was overgrown with weeds and not very nice to look at. The main building which housed the restaurant was nice and open air, although I suggest they play relaxing acoustic music to make it more inviting for guests. The fountains beside the restaurant area are extremely noisy so not good if you want to lounge out and read or relax. Also, they could do with a good barista and coffee machine. Their coffee is pretty ordinary. I tended to go down the road to a fabulous coffee shop and spent a lot of time relaxing and just chilling at Kopi Desa. But these are only minor things. All in all a very nice place to stay with lovely friendly staff. It is out of the way so a scooter is a must, but that also means it is nice and peaceful with no traffic noise and it is a nice leisurely walk to the main Ubud area.

The staff are awesome and make every effort to help you enjoy your stay. Love having a private garden and pool. The amenities are good. My husband and I have stayed here three times now and love coming back. The only thing that could improve the stay would be new towels (the towels are well worn and need replacing) and some more cooking utensils. Although the villas have small kitchens, the utensils are minimal so cooking isn't really an option.

Over all it was great, private pool is just awesome, kitchen and living area too. Bathroom could deserve more attention, there is room for improvement in served food. Location fine if you have your own transport, if not it gets a bit more complicated but still ok. Unfortunately, just next to the property the neighbours are building a taller hotel which ruins the view and privacy.

They didn't do a proper house keeping and left the rubbish flow on the pool. Didn't tidy up the toilet and refill the soap for us. When we ask them, they said already complete their house keeping..... Overall is bad experience

Spacious, quiet and friendly- walk anywhere

We stayed in Seminyak for a week and then moved to Ubud and absolutely loved this place.
We arrived and were treated with great politeness, they helped us check in speedily and took our bags to our villa.

Villa was huge in a great plot of land with approx 8m x 3m pool. There is an outdoor kitchen with basic needs including kitchen wear, stove, fridge with freezer and a drink machine for cold, cool and boiling water so excellent....

Bed was large and comfortable, I thought hard at first but slept very well all week. There is a side sliding door that goes to the kitchen and double front doors that open to a large patio area with comfortable sun beds and all you need including pool towels, separate seating area and drying rack.

Bathroom is behind the bedroom and very spacious with large wardrobe, bath and shower head, separate walk in shower and toilet with large sink and storage area.

The food and drinks were also great as we ate here as well as out of the complex. The whole experience here wa like paradise and was quaint, quiet,welcoming and had everything we needed in our stay.

The area can be a little awkward for people with less than full mobility. There are 97 large and uneven steps called pines tanner stairs to one side of the property and a long lane with only foot or moped access and no cars. This was actually the reason we booked it and we loved it.

Lots of shops, restaurants, art, culture all within walking distance.

Happy to stay again.

The villa was lovely, very beautiful and the pool was glorious. The bed was a little hard, my room was very clean but my bathroom walls were covered with ants. My air conditioner kept making loud noises all night. The food was delicious but we were told upon check in we get free delivery breakfast but when we called for it someone else told us if we want it delivered there is an extra charge. I do think they need to work on communication with customers better. How to get to the villa was not explained (they are really far from streets and you should call them to come pick you up from the main street by golf cart) and they seemed to stare at us judgingly and asked why we didn't call ... we didn't know this AND we are on vacation from another country we do not have functioning phones. I just do not like how things were done. it was not terrible, I enjoyed my time in Ubud, I was just caught off guard by how some things were not handled professionally.

Not a comfortable stay

My kids loved the pool, but that was probably the only nice thing about this villa. This place is not reachable by car. You have to either walk or sit on the back of a motorcycle for about 500 meter. The breakfast was the worst we had on this vacation. Don't even consider eating there for lunch or dinner. The towels felt coarse and hard. The heater on water dispenser did not work and they asked us to use a pot, not a kettle, a large pot to boil water. Lots of bugs and mosquitos. I do not recommend this place.

Charm-y villa set up in the hills

The path leading to the villa is not distinct with less than obvious signage, and the path is very dark.
Villa beginning to \"age\" but not too big an issue yet.
Staffs were friendly and helpful.
Musky smell in the bathroom even after airing.
Overall, no complains but will wanna try other accommodation when I'm back there.

Peaceful & spotless oasis in Ubud

Our villa at Ubud Heaven Penestanan was incredible--a spotless, spacious and well air-conditioned bedroom and bathroom in one building plus an open-air covered kitchen area (quite well equipped with sink, stove, microwave, frig, pans, utensils, dishes, bottled water, etc.) in a lovely private garden with its own pool. The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet--motorcycles come by, but no cars. This was a perfect place to come back to mid-afternoon to recuperate from the heat and humidity before going out again in the cool of the evening for performances of traditional music and dance. The included breakfast had lots of options, both Asian and Western, and we liked everything we tried over the 4 days we spent there. We only ate one other meal there, which was OK, but nothing amazing. It's a bit of a hike into the center of town (20-25 minutes), but if you prefer to go by car, there are generally taxi drivers hanging out at the foot of the almost 100 stairs that lead up to the eastern edge of the area. It's a longer walk in from the western side, but with fewer steps. The staff members we interacted with were uniformly helpful and friendly--great service! We would definitely stay here again.

Overpriced, not good value, poor management

Hotel is in a quiet location and great place for relaxation. It is within walking distance to Ubud market. The villas are pretty basic and towels old and worn, some felt even dirty. Pool was clean and nice size. The staff is very young and unprofessional. I think it lacks proper management. There is a lot of staff and they used to hang around in groups with nothing to do and were often loud. When I wanted to enjoy a quiet breakfast, there was every morning a group of 18 year old boys hanging around like teenagers do, not what you want from you Ubud holiday. One afternoon the boys were giving the next door villa a bigger cleanup (after some renovation works the previous day) and I had to go and ask them to keep it down, they were really loud. Every morning they also forgot something from the order. The breakfast was good, service slow and unprofessional. On the last day one of the staff member came to our room just as we were backing (10.30am) and was quite rude. Even made fun of our empty beer bottles and suggested that we are quite the drinkers. He carried our smallest hand luggage to the reception and then demanded our rooms keys and pointed to reception and said 'go pay'. I had already paid the bill after breakfast. When we left he drove after us with a scooter and yelled something to our driver. I am never going back to this place.

This hotel was beautiful and a bit out of the city center (which could be tricky) but there are shortcuts to alchemy and a good yoga studio near by so would stay there again.
The service was amazing but wifi was not very good. Always had to resign in and needed a new password each day.

My partner and I stayed six nights in a one bedroom villa with its own pool and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The villa itself was fantastic, and the service was great. They have a really lovely spot for breakfast (which is included in the price). Our villa was lovely and private, which was great for the two of us trying to have a relaxing break, but there were plenty of families staying as well so I think pretty much anyone would enjoy staying here. The service was great with staff arranging airport pickup and drop-off (maybe a tiny bit more expensive than organising a taxi, but the convenience was worth it) and we were able to get a massage at our own villa (again, very reasonably priced). Although the villa offered a number of different tours, we were interested in one that they did not have available. They went to the effort of finding another company that suited us and called to arrange everything for us - very impressed!

Ubud heaven is a very comfortable hotel. We had a spacious two bedroom villa. The location is wonderful within walking distance to everything. Our villa was just off the road so it was a bit noisy. The staff is very helpful but all have very limited English so it takes awhile to check in/check out and do anything else that may require hotel assistance. All in all this is a great value for the money.

Great space up out if the bustle of Ubud

Great property and great value, excellent friendly staff. Made our first week in Bali very special and love the Villas. Be aware if coming from airport they need to know you are coming because the taxi can not go right to the door. They will come get you in a golf cart from the road, stairs make it impossible for drivers to drop you door to door. Trust us this is a great spot but make sure your driver knows it's in Pennestanan. We found out at 130am the hard way that ours did not.

Quiet place in a busy town

Stayed at the Ubud Heaven Penastan with my parents a girlfriend. The value for money was unbeatable, the area is great away from the hustle and bustle of what has become a very busy tourist town over the last 10 years. The stairs to the hotel cut down on traffic and are a blessing keeping that little section of town quiet.ntown is within walking distance, there are warungs and massage places close by... All in all it is a good place and I would recommend staying there.

Deeply appreciated spot of peace in Ubud

I really enjoyed my stay at this tranquil, friendly place. Service was always friendly and considerate, the breakfasts were pretty good (I got the Indonesian both days), and the villas are spacious enough to really relax, particularly by the pool, which is a nice size and temperature. Motorbikes, dogs, and roosters are a bit ubiquitous in Ubud, but it is a real pleasure to get away from the car traffic! My top suggestions are to walk to the market (about 2km), if only to enjoy the relatively peaceful and wonderful walk along the ridge to Karsa Kafe and some lovely rice terraces. I would also recommend joining the throng and renting a motorbike. Renting direct from the hotel was only 80000 Rupiah for the whole day.

We loved the Ubud Heaven. Our teenagers loved it too! Great breakfast & there are very good restaurants close by. Pool was lovely & the villa very private. The staff were very helpful & will arrange to carry your bags up or down the steps if needed. Great value for money - you can base yourself there & travel to other locations.
Some fly screens in the bathrooms would be a good addition.

Overall everything in Ubud was amazing. The sights, the sounds, the people were a welcomed experience from the everyday typical vacation you could have. If you are looking to escape from the rat race and you want to feel as though you are isolated from the bustling of the world, this is the place for you.
This is not your usual tourist trap although the market place reminded you of an overpriced swap meet.
But before you get anywhere be prepared for some major cardio climbing up and down their grueling 80+ stairs to
reach the main road which leads to the rest of the points of interest (shops, restaurants, marketplace, art museums, etc.)
The staff and manager were very friendly and accommodating, The manager spoke decent english an was very knowledgeable about activities and the spots to visit. He even went as far as keeping an eye out for us because we tended to wander off past the directions given.
You could take a taxi or motorbike to most anywhere around, but we chose to take the hot muggy walks to take in more of the sights. The plus was we came back to our villa and jumped into our private pool to cool off.
You could even request massages at your villa - - the Holistic Massage was Awesome!
I would definitely come back and stay at Ubud Heaven.

Nice Private Pool and Experiencing Village Living

There's 2 way to reach the villa, 1 is by climbing stairs which was quite tiring and the other route would take about 8 mins to walk.

The entrance was beautiful, the whole villa was semi-open style. Cleverly covered by plants instead of concrete walls. Some of the staff speaks good English, some are average.

The best thing was the pool. Feels heavenly. Or maybe I just love private pools.

Beautiful location, quite serenity set in rice paddy fields. Rent a scooter for $6 Aus for the day, the back entry walkway shared with scooter leads to main part of Ubud, slow and careful ride 10min . Walk down the front -stairway to Heaven to the main road 5min. walk. The villas are set in lush green surrounding making each one individual.
Located far enough away from the maddening crowds but close enough to good restaurants and meusems etc to walk to.

Nice House but be aware: the two bedrooms are separate with an open kitchen/livingroom between, so it is not recomendable if you have small children (like we have).

가격대비 괜츈

대한항공 밤비행기 도착하고 우붓으로 가는데 원래 1시간 30분 걸릴꺼 기사님이 달려서 40분만에감.
구글에 있는 주소랑 다름. 글로가면 무조건 호텔에 전화해서 픽업해달라고 해야함.
그러나 우리갈때 ㅇㅒ네 전화기선 뺴놓고 자고 있었음. 약 7분 정도 안되게 캐리어를 끌고 존나 올라감. 오르막인데 갈만하지만 허니문인데 피곤하고 빡이침.
허니문 수준의 빌라는 아니지만 그냥 개인공간에 15만원 안으로 괜츈,
우붓이랑 가깝고 걸어다닐만함. 20분 안됨
그러나 갈떄 천국의 계단이 있음. 오르락 내리락 좀 힘듬
근데 조용하고 우리만의 풀장은 좋음. 화장실이 깨끗한 편은아님.
그냥 가격대비 생각하셈. 아침 조식은 괜츈 과일주스가 존맛탱
그리고 자꾸 검은색 개 릴리가 쳐 따라옴. 밥달라고 근데 똑똑해서 이새끼가 우리 빌라와서 자고 아침도 같이 먹음. 너무 짜서 주면 안되지만 그 눈빛은 못줄수가 음슴. 근데 다들 릴리 잇어도 그냥 웃어 넘김. 이새끼 사람 잘 반김. 그래서 귀여워서 봐줌.

결론: 소름끼치게 깨끗하진 않음. 근데 개인빌라를 15만원 안으로 할수있는건 매력임.
조식 맛잇음. 얘네 호텔이 두군데가 픽업인데 장손데 택시부르는 거 하지말고 걍 천국의 계단 내려가면 바로 택시 잡는 곳이니까 거기서 쇼부치는게 나음.
다시 간다하면 가겠음. 생각보다 괜츈. 나처럼 내려놓으면 좋음. 개 삐까 뻔쩍은 솔까 40~50 이상 인곳으로 가길

Schöne ruhige Anlage. Sehr freundliches Personal. Die seperate Villa mit Pool im kleinen tropischen Garten war wunderschön. Das Frühstück war ebenso sehr lecker. Man musste allerdings schon am Tag davor die Bestellung aufgeben und sich auch auf eine Uhrzeit festlegen.

La piscine m’a beaucoup plu malgré le fait qu’elle soit mal orientée.
En ce qui concerne le personnel, c’est le pire hôtel que je n’ai jamais fait. Il ne mérite clairement pas ses 4*. Personnel non accueillant. Le matin, au petit déjeuner, on a l’impression de déranger quand on commande. Le personnel ne nous demande à aucun moment ce que l’on veut pour le petit déjeuner (car il faut commander la veille). D’ailleurs on le comprends quand on voit la qualité de la nourriture et particulièrement des fruits (notamment la papaye) et le beurre (qui a tourné). Bref, un séjour inoubliable car horrible ! Les draps sont sales et ont des trous, que des choses comme ça. La télévision n’a pas Netflix et n’a même pas internet ! Je paye +100€/nuits ! Je souhaite si possible me faire rembourser une partie de ce voyage car c’est inacceptable

I stayed here just for one night. This hotel is located at a hill side and not good for me due to bad accessibility.
The breakfast is not the beffet but quite good. Hotel employees are very friendly but there are some mosquitos outside the room.

Being located a bit from the center of Ubud on The top off a hill gives the place a perfect vibe. Its in the middle of a massive yoga area and cosy litle restaurants.

ホテル前に車を乗入れ出来ないという欠点を差し引いても、プライベートプール付ホテルに1万円未満で泊まれてウブド中心地から徒歩圏内でビンタンストアから近いというコスパは良すぎます。

キッチンの使い勝手が良く、水のサーバーも置いてあり、温冷の水が簡単に使用出来ました。
今回は、２ベッドルームの部屋を予約したのですが、それぞれにトイレと浴槽つきのシャワーが有り、便利でした。

プライベートプール付きで超豪華な客室。車がホテル前に来れないマイナス点を補って余り有る。1泊1万円以内の予算の人なら間違いなく1番豪華なホテルです。

Une villa agréable avec une belle piscine. Dommage de l'accueil. La maison était propre. Nous avons aimé le quartier. Mais il est à 15min à pied du centre de Ubud.

従業員の対応はとてもよかった。水回りの清潔感はまるでない。水捌けが悪すぎて常に足元がびちゃびちゃしてた。
プールはとてもきれい。ロケーションも◎。
アプローチが階段で少し大変だが、慣れれば気にならない。

Hotel bien ubicado y personal muy amable

El acceso al lugar es algo complicado pues no entran coches, pero se soluciono con el servicio de motos. Las habitaciones debieran tener un lugar donde poner maletas y guardar ropa. En general la gente es sumamente amable y el desayuno muy completo.

La chambre etait bien équipée et avait beaucoup de charme.
La piscine privée etait top.
Les moins : une grenouille morte retrouvée derriere un rideau, la sdb manque de cachet, les tres nombreuses marches pour accéder à l'hôtel

喧騒から離れたプライベートヴィラ

街の中心部から少し離れていますが、15分くらいで歩けます。近隣に飲食店もあり、ホテルでゆっくり過ごせます。
スタッフは若く、笑顔でとても感じがいいです。

Tolles Villas in Ubud für Zeit zum Entspannen

Schöne private Unterkunft in der Nähe von Ubud Zentrum. Der eigene private Pool ist das Highlight der Unterkunft. Auch die kleine Küche ist ideal zum Selber-Kochen. Die Zimmer sind ok, aber leider auch voller Moskitos. Das macht es teilweise sehr schwierig. Auch das Team ist nicht 100%ig auf die Gäste eingestellt. Das WiFi ist furchtbar.
Insgesamt aber empfehlenswert für eine Zeit um einfach nur zu entspannen.

除了出入要爬一段陡坡比較不方便之外，飯店是很舒適的，而且附近也有餐廳。
房價起伏很大，我們訂了私人泳池和庭院房型各一晚，因提早訂房價格很優惠，非常划算。枕頭和床鋪非常舒適，只可惜沒有電視，晚上有點小無聊。
庭院房型因為廚房和客廳四邊沒有牆壁，晚上蚊蟲比較多，不過還好並不太會飛進房間，而且有蚊帳，仍可維持睡眠品質。

접근하기 힘들지만, 다시 가고 싶은곳

위치가 산 위에 있다고 해야 하나? 차로 접근 쉽지 않습니다.
버기카로 접근할수 있는곳으로 갔는데, 종교 행사한다고 못들어 갔습니다.
반대편으로 접근했는데 계산이 200개정도 ㅜㅜ 힘들었지만 호텔에 들어가면
모든것이 편안해 집니다. 가족과 조용히 풀빌라에서 지내기 좋습니다.
또한 주방이 있어서 편리했고, 물이 생수통으로 무료로 지급 됩니다.
가성비는 좋은거 같고, 체크아웃할때 생각지도 않은 기념품을 주어서 너무 좋았습니다.

Villa met eigen zwembad vlakbij het centrum!

Wij verbleven 4 nachten in Ubud Heaven Penestanan en dat was een heerlijk ontspannen deel van onze reis. De eigen villa met privezwembad biedt veel privacy, rust em confort en het hotel ligt op ongeveer 20 minuten lopen van het centrum van Ubud met veel leuke restaurants. Ubud heeft een gezellig centrum en het apenbos is een aanrader. De service vanuit het hotel was erg goed met vriendelijk personeel dat ons overal bij wilde helpen. Bedankt voor het fijne verblijf!

Nice villa, horrible WiFi

Nice villa with nice pool. Lacked privacy as the manager was setting up a vegetable garden next to the \"private\" pool. Horrible WiFi reception and speed. Bit of a walkman to central Ubud, but good value.
