It is in good proximity to Ubud (10 mins by transport) but very noisy from traffic. 1st room, Superior Room, bed was very uncomfortable, coffee & tea but no kettle. 2nd room Bali wood style, very dark inside, not clean, shower leaking no water pressure, even more noisy as closer to road & front desk. Bed was more comfortable. Had a kettle but no coffe or tea. Fridge was extremely dirty. OK for 1 night. Breakfast very basic & not much choice. No fruit. Had an excellent massage outdoor on the premises. Staff very friendly as usual! Though, we would not come back.

Good value, quiet villas outside of town

Good alternative to central Ubud. A little way out of town but has a free shuttle service. Very quiet at night. Rooms are spacious and quite comfortable. The bathroom was a bit outdated but again quite large. Bed was firm and comfortable. Breakfast is limited.
Staff were very friendly. The pool is small but clean. Overall, good value for money

I stayed at Villa Mandi for three nights, 1 night in a Suite and 2 nights in a superior room. I had an ok stay in both. The grounds are beautifully maintained so it’s a lovely setting and it’s great if you want to be in more of a rural setting surrounded by rice paddies. The things I thought could be improved were; providing soap in bathrooms, block out curtains as they let so much sunlight and night light in, the tv in the superior room was tiny and in a random position, breakfast was basic compared to other similar villas I’ve stayed in around Ubud. The staff were friendly and generally helpful.

Loved our couple of night here in a beautiful private villa with private pool. Free shuttle into & pick up from main area in Ubud great but possibly could offer a couple more services through the day.
Short taxi ride out from town - about $5aud
Beautiful grounds, & friendly staff.

Quiet and clean

It was a very pleasant stay. We consider ourselves lucky for finding such a nice and beautiful hotel in the event of promotion. One thing that can be taken for consideration is to provide a free flow water when guests are having breakfast at the restaurant. Just plain water would be enough or infused water if you want to be a bit classy.

Overall ok, but only because of the discount.

The room was well presented, and the private pool was awesome, very clean and nice luxury to have.

The house keeping lacked some attention to detail (gowns supplied on first night but not replaced, housekeeping entered room without knocking, rubbish not all cleared each day.) Breakfast was late twice and we had to ask repeatedly before it came, requested no bread due to allergies but was given bread on 3 out of 4 days.

We booked the room at an 80% discount, and had we paid full price I would have been very unhappy with the quality of the service, but given the discount we paid decided it wasn't worth complaining.

Love this pave and the views!!!!

Had a great time here, driver AdI was great. WiFi was spotty, and I wish the free shuttle had earlier drop off times since 10am is a little late to get started for yoga etc. The guest pool was great with beautiful view, I walked to town, a lil trek but not bad. The private pools are not as pristine as pictured but still great!!! I'd give this place a 4/5. I'd love less firm beds and more free shuttle options.
Tip: pineapple pancake is great!!! Adi (a driver there) is great to use for tours, very friendly and always smiles.

Lovely villa in the rice fields

Super helpful and wonderful staff, lovely rooms with comfy beds. Great wi-fi. Beautiful setting just outside of Ubud amongst the rice fields. Easy hotel transport to town centre and easy scooter ride if you want to rent one. all round great stay, would definitely be back!

Fantastic Staff and lovely location

When we arrived at Villa Mandi I realised that the villa (Joglo) that I had pre booked was too small for my needs. I asked if we could be upgraded and the Guest Relations Manager , Adi, showed me a 'deluxe' villa, complete with external kitchen. He let me have it at a really good price. We stayed there for 5 nights and loved it. We were even given free massages. The staff are so friendly and helpful. I must again thank Adi for everything that he arranged for us. He was great. The villa is situated quite a way from Ubud centre but there is a free shuttle that will take you there 3 times per day. Although we hired a motorbike from the Villa and saw a lot more of Ubud.
Villa Mandi is a tranquil haven away from the bustling centre of Ubud. i would definitely stay there again.

First night we were upgraded to place with private pool,fridge outside and no crockery at all for tea & coffee nor supplies which their Ad on here said at out time of booking. This was annoying as could not unpack till settled in the next room.
No tea/coffee or bottled water and toiletries are 2 wall pumps with shower/hand soap in not labelled so not sure.
It is far from Ubud and they have a shuttle but they forgot to collect us at designated time and after someone called them for us 1hr later they collected us.
Our grievance was avoided by the manager he delegated it to another staff member who drove us to our next booking so we only stayed one night. The staff member took a screen shot of there advert and the manager just said it is not what was agreed with Hotels.com
They have since removed the tea/coffee from there ad and we would not have booked as no nearby options.

I booked two separate villas online, when we arrived they informed us they were overbooked and had moved 1 of us to a different location (villa mandi 3) approx. 4 minute drive away. This was a secluded, somewhat rundown private 2 bedroom villa in the middle of nowhere. We checked out immediately and I'm awaiting a refund!!

Rat infestation

The bamboo villas (down the road and not in the main part of Villa Mandi) looked lovely in the pictures and the designs seemed to be good. However, they were infested with very large rats (and small mice too) - running along walls and floors and even onto the bed. A lot of rat and mouse poo. Cleanliness of room and general hygiene was terrible. Several broken floor tiles in a prominent walkway in the room which was a safety concern. We pre-paid for 4 nights but were told after the 3rd night that we still had to pay for our 4th night. Had to argue with a staff member about it - lucky we had a copy of the hotels.com confirmation: the hotel staff had made a mistake, but no apologies from them about hassling us about it. The room's security safe alarm malfunctioned and went off repeatedly one night - no sleep. Upon reflection, should have moved to a different hotel after the 1st night as there are some lovely and still cheap ones nearby. Having said that, the main Villa Mandi rooms (not the bamboo villas down the road) are probably quite nice and some of the staff were really good, so just recommend that you check carefully what you are booking.

Villa mandi looks better in the pictures then in real life, it is a little far out of town, but they have a free shuttle 3 times a day to town. We came in early evening , tired and hungry, there is no food and no restaurant nearby, but they did offer a menu, the food was cold, reason, it had to come from far. Now they are building on a new restaurant on the premises, which made it very noisy. Hopefully that will be done soon and definitely will improve your stay.

Double booked our room. Sent to awful hotel

While the villa mandi is quite a nice hotel, set amongst the rice paddies quite some distance from town (they offer a free shuttle during the day and later in the evening it costs IDR50,000 one way). The room was nice and staff very friendly- HOWEVER when we arrived they informed us that there was no room available as it had been double booked. They said it was no problem as they had a sister hotel they could send us to for one night. The sister hotel was awful. The room smelled mouldy, the shower barely had a trickle of water come out and the soap and hair product dispensers were empty. The staff forgot parts of our meal and the room was cheap and nasty compared to what we paid for to stay at villa mandi. I wouldn't trust them in future for a booking. A big downer on the stay in ubud.

Det klammeste hotel jeg nogen sinde har været på

Der var på alle måder klamt og uhumskt.
Jeg kan undre mig over, at jeg overhovedet blev - men ikke så længe som planlagt. De 2 nætter frem for 6 var mere end rigeligt!
Vedligehold og rengøring var elendigt - det endte der bliver holdt ved lige er vist haven. Men den var også pæn.
Det er umuligt at kommunikerer med personalet og de var derfor heller ikke til hjælp på nogen måde.

Mit eneste råd er, at hvis ikke de vil bo et sted med skimmelsvamp så bliv væk.

Das Personal war immer freundlich und hat sich immer bemüht alles zu machen.
Leider waren die Zimmer nicht wirklich sauber.
Weder auf den Liegen noch auf den Stühlen draußen gab es Polster. Am Pool keine Sonnenschirme.
Warmwasser gab es leider höchstens 5 min. Direkt vor unserem Zimmer war eine Baustelle. Leider eher enttäuschend trotz dem netten Personal.
Leider hat sich auch Expedia nichts von unserer Beschwerdeemail angenommen ( obwohl Sie sich angeblich nach 48 Stunden melden) und so haben wir uns auf eigene Faust ein anderes Hotel gesucht.

Vi havde den uheldige oplevelse at vi havde lejet en scooter på stedet og da vi skulle aflevere den, sagde de at vi havde lavet ridser i den... Vi betalte selvfølgelig ikke, men går den så går den...Fuldstændig uacceptabelt og vender aldrig tilbage... ellers et fint lille sted, men dårlig morgenmad...

Hotel très bien entretenu, confortable et agréable, très calme. Le personnel est gentil, poli, discret, nous avons fait des sorties organisées avec l'hotel, tout s'est très bien passé. Hotel recommandable à tout point de vue. C'était notre premier hotel à Bali, et nous y sommes retournés 5 jours après car l'un de nos hotels choisis durant le séjour n'était pas bien.
Le négatif est tout de même le peu de pression dans les douches mais l'eau était chaude donc rien de grave.

Wir hatten ein traditionelles Holzhaus. Leider nicht zu empfehlen. Das Bad war dreckig und seit ewigen Zeiten nicht geputzt. Trotz Nachfrage war eine angemessebe Reinigung nicht moglich. Wir reisen seit Jahren durch Asien und hatten selten so eine Erfahrung. Schade.
Es gab keinen Stuhl im Zimmer.
Fruhstuck: 1 Scheibe Toast mi Ei ohne alles und Kaffee, sehr lieblos.

チェックイン時は手こずりました。エクスペディアのサイトにいって、部屋のタイプと値段を確認しないとダメみたいで、Wi-Fiをすぐにつないでもらって、予約の確認をしてお金も払ってからチェックイン出来ました。
レストランのボーイさんは一回で私の名前を覚えてくれて、三日間ずっと名前で呼んでくれました、感動的です。
部屋はプール付きのヴィラに二泊しました。結構広いプールできれいでしたが、なんせ虫が多く、ウスバカゲロウみたいなのが大量に浮いてて一度も入らなかっです。網でもあればよかったんですが…
ロケーションはウブドの中心から車で10分程、１日数回、車で無料で送迎あり。
レストランの料理も安くて美味しかっかった、ナシチャンプルは45000ルピア15000ルピアでタックスもサービス料もかからず、その場で支払い要。
付いてる朝食は食パンかパンケーキを選んでジュースとコーヒーのみで、簡単なものでした。
静かで、のんびり出来るいいところでした。
定価の宿泊代金は凄く高く、80%オフで泊まりましたが、割安感はなかったです。80%引きで日本の都会のビジネスホテルに泊まる程の値段でしたので、あまり安くはないですね。

9月に家族3人で4泊利用しました。デラックスルームでの予約でしたが、宿の厚意によりアップグレード頂き大満足の滞在となりました。このホテルはビーチフロントでは無いものの海岸まで徒歩1分でロケーションは抜群、付近には格安マッサージも沢山あるのでとても便利です。部屋の広さ、スタッフの対応、朝食（ビッフェ）、プール、そしてホテルでバイクも1日60,000rpで借りれるのでトータルでのコスパはサヌールでも非常に高いお宿でオススメです!!

Romantic private villa

We had a wounderful time at Vila mandi in our own small villa with pool and small garden. Very lovely, romantic and quiet.
The hotel served basis breakfast and helped arrange tours. The location is a bit far from citycenter but you can pay for a taxi to get there. All in all a good time there

Lille minus er at Villa Mandi ligger et stykke fra Ubud center, men hotellet tilbyder gratis shuttlebusser et par gange om dagen, hvilket er en super løsning.

우붓 중심가 에서는다소 멀리 차로10분거리 이며 시골풀경을 느끼기에좋았고 오토바이를 대여해주므로 중심가에나갈수있고 더 멀리도갈수도있었으며 객실은 단독주택 처럼개별로 독립되어 있어서조용했음 직원은너무도 친절했음 새로신축되는객실이5집정도있어 좋을것으로예상됨

Отсутствуют элементарные вещи! Очень плохо

Сначала нам очень все понравилось, заселение, внешний вид отеля, его сад и наш домик. Но мусор был не убран от предыдущих жильцов, полотенца дали только к 8 часам вечера, после 3-кратного обращения в лобби, и то только по 1 штуке на человека. На полотенцах были пятна и они были маленькие! Из туалетных принадлежностей дали только шампунь и гель (не написано кто есть кто), причем на следующий день шампунь почему то забрали! Ванна огромная и хорошая, но когда мы хотели набрать воды, горячая вода закончилась! Не набралось даже половины! На наш вопрос респепшн сказали, что вода положена только определенное количество литров и ее хватает только на душ! Тогда зачем там ванна??!! Мы выбрали этот отель только из-за ванны! Бассейн у них маленький и не очень чистый. Никаких хороших впечатлений! Элементарного даже нет! Персонал плохо понимает английский.

J'ai séjourné 6 nuits, très bon hotel, très beau jardin, mais loin du centre ville ! critère important, louer un scooter sinon vous etes bon à payer le taxi tout le temps ! Moi je savais que je louer un scooter donc j'ai réserver cet hotel, sinon ils on l'habitude de beaucoup voir à 90% de subroger, donc vous aurait surement pas la chambre que vous avez réserver mais une autre, plus haute gamme ou moins haute gamme, surprise ! mais l'hotel vous donnera votre chambre que vous avez réserver des le lendemain et vous remboursera la difference... et vous offrira un massage de 30 minutes.. très bel chambre, spacieuse mais climatisation légère en vue des tailles des chambres elles sont pas assez performantes... petit déjeuner peu copieux, courage ! à cet hotel on y dort, on profite de la piscine et c'est tout ! pour le prix cela est très correct en indonnésie !

リーズナブルで環境は抜群のホテルです

9月16日から22日まで家族3人で利用させて頂きました
リーズナブルな値段、独立型の宿泊施設、静かな環境かつライステラスビューがあることでこの宿を選びました
期待通りとても静かな環境なうえに部屋（Delux）やバレからライステラスビューを十分に堪能することが出来て値段からすると非常に満足行くものでした
また、ウブド中心部からの距離はホテルでリーズナブルな値段でのバイクレンタルが出来たお陰で全く苦になりませんでした

残念だった点は「シャワー設備」、「WiFi環境」と「朝食」の3点となります
シャワーは熱い/冷たい（水）のほぼどちらかになってしまい、ちょうど良い温度で維持することが出来ずスタッフにお願いすると給湯設備をチェックしてくれるのですが改善されることはありませんでした
また、WiFiについても部屋（Delux）での利用はほぼ不可能な状況が続き、こちらもスタッフにお願いするとチェックしてくれるのですが残念ながら完全に改善することはありませんでした

朝食は少し貧相というかもう少しボリュームが無いとお昼まで持たないぞ、という感じでもう少し頑張って欲しいところです

ただ、スタッフは全員フレンドリーで心温まる対応で非常に気持ちよく過ごせましたし、マネージャーさんもほぼ毎朝「何か問題はありませんか？」と聞きにきてくれ、これらの問題を伝えると何とか改善しようとしてくれていましたのでこれらの課題を次回までに改善してもらえればパーフェクトなお宿になると期待しています
