The view was excellent. The shuttle and 24 hour pool access was great, however, the room needs a massive upgrade as it has outdated furniture, dusty, and bathroom needs improvement. The restaurant needs improvements as it looks outdated. The breakfast option is very limited and takes ages to get food. They give you complimentary dinner but the dinner option was very limited as you can only choose one main meal and one dessert, no sides and drinks. It's pointless to give free dinner with such limited options and delayed service. The lift has no light.

Rijasa feels like your very own palace... I like peace and quiet and Rijasa gave me just that. The views from your room and the pools are breathtaking, you look down into the quiet jungle and you can take a dip in the infinity pools as the sun sets on the horizon... The staff were brilliant- friendly and so helpful, it really does make such a difference! The rooms are beautiful and clean with a French touch and lots of space... I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to relax and unwind in Ubud!!!

Amazing Stay

We loved staying here. The hotel was in a beautiful position overlooking mountains and jungle. The rooms are huge. The pool was great. The staff were very efficient & friendly. Close to many attractions near Ubud but away from the frenetic pace. Highly recommend!

Perfect stay! Amazing staff and stunning view!

Had the most amazing time at Rijasa! The staff were so helpful and friendly. Could not fault a thing. Nice staff, gorgeous hotel and great food (both breakfast and at the restaurant (which was also quite cheap!)). Had the best time we have ever had at this hotel. Will definitely come again and recommend this hotel to everyone we know!

Breathtaking views

A hidden retreat with the most stunning views of the Agung River and Forest. We stayed in a jacuzzi room which is a must do!
The hotel is a far distance from Ubud city centre but they do provide a complimentary shuttle.
The staff are very helpful and staff always do their utmost to make it a pleasant stay.

Beautiful , clean and spacious room with free minibar and snacks. View from the balcony which also had the bathtub on was exceptional. Staff were friendly. Pools were lovely overlooking the rainforest and river. Restaurant food was average. Overall great hotel.

Breathtaking views, great value

The jungle setting is the star of the show at Rijasa. Tucked away along a small narrow street 20 minutes from ubud centre, the hotel offers stunning views of the jungle and mountains with peek-a-boo views of a rice terrace and ayung river.

The hotel itself is quiet grand, the rooms are spacious and the infinity pool overlooks the jungle. The facilities did appear to have some wear and tear in the bathroom and pool areas.

It's a quiet hotel (we were 2 of 9 guests whom we never saw) and we had no problem booking the transport to and from town everyday. The staff were helpful and friendly. We assume that due to the lower occupancy, our breakfast was a la cart (decent and fresh) and our mini bar was not stocked.

Overall, it was a relaxing stay and excellent value compared to the two luxury resorts next door. Better for those who don't mind the shuttle to/from town.

Incredible view and lovely staff

The staff at the hotel were incredibly helpful and polite throughout our stay and spoke English which was very helpful. The view from the rooms are incredible and it is worth staying at the hotel for the view alone. The air con in the first room didn't work and the staff promptly moved us to another room. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay again if we visited Ubud.

Amazing location, very spacious rooms

The hotel staff is particularly helpful. Very nice driver for the shuttle. The hotel is beautiful and has 2 amazing swimming pools. It's a bit far from Ubud town so it would be great if the hotel made the shuttle service more frequent. Now its every 1-2 hours.

Great hotel... Worth it just for the view

Amazing view, well worth being a bit out of town. To get anywhere you need to use the free shuttle, which is easy enough to book and only takes 20 mins.
The room is very nice and the bed really comfy. Not spotless but with it being just above a rainforest it would be impossible to keep it very clean.
Breakfast is good, a mic of local and western food which would means everyone would like something.

Fantastic overall experience

Overall my experience at the hotel was fantastic! The views are incredible and the staff were very helpful and willing to provide as much help as possible! The only issue we had during our stay was one evening the restaraunt was over run by flying insects, although this is a hotel on the edge of an epic forest and all other evenings we had no trouble at all! (The one off we just ordered room service instead) I would certainly reccomend this hotel to any friends or family and would return at any given oppertunity!

Quiet, peaceful

If busy Bali is not for you, then this Resort may suit your travel requirements.
All rooms have valley and Ayung River views. Beautiful infinity pool, which we had to ourselves each day.
Restaurant is basic and will suffice for a quick meal. Ayung Resort restaurant next door is beautiful and you are welcome to book for dinner - highly recommend.
Free shuttle bus to and from Ubud very easy and times are accommodating.
Rooms are very spacious and clean. The Resort is not new, but very clean and in good repair

Quiet location, great views, limited facilities

If you want a quiet location to relax (away from the rat-race of Kuta) and you have done all the sightseeing on a previous Bali trip this may be the place for you. Beautiful views over the river valley with rice terraces and water rafting in the river below. Free shuttle to Ubud (20 mins) keeps you connected for shopping and good evening meal choices and you can source lots of other activities in the Ubud area from the town. Facilities at the hotel are not numerous and although the horizon pool is nice there is little deck chair space and the pool bar is not always open. Staff are very friendly and helpful and you can book services like massage (very reasonable at $25) from the front desk. Airport transfers (takes about 80 minutes) at $25 are good value. Only real downside are the meals at the hotel which I could not recommend as they can't seem to serve any of them hot (breakfast grill was cold on two days and the bae marie breakfast which is only one day per week, was only slightly better). Selection is reasonable but they need a complete review of recipes as very few are what you expect, for example, Caesar Salad was just slivers of vegetables with some sort of mayonnaise and croutons of small soggy toast squares instead of crisp cubes and no bacon. Pizza bases are terrible, they need a genuine pizza base dough and egg on a pizza is not 3 fried eggs flattened on top of the base! Until the food improves I would choose to take the shuttle to Ubud, even for late breakfast.

Great Get-away from it all

I stayed three nights and loved it! If you're after the whole Kuta Bali experience then this is not the place for you. If you're after stunning views, nature (I saw monkeys, lizards, frogs, birds from my balcony) and a relaxing get away from it all then this hotel is great. A free shuttle into Ubud is easy to organise for spa treatments (Bali Botanical is great) and sightseeing in Ubud, whilst the hotel itself provided clean rooms and friendly accomodating service. The language capabilities of the stafff where adequate to the standards I've encountered on previous trips to Bali, no worse. An attempt to learn a few words in the native language goes a long way as it does anywhere in the world (ie; terima kasih - thankyou, tolong - please). As a solo woman traveller, I also felt very comfortable - don't be put off by expedia claims that \"clothing is optional\" as throughout my stay all guests and staff etc were suitably clothed as befits the traditional culture of the Balinese. All in all, a great place to stay if you want to think, relax, swim in a boutique hotel, away from the strobe lights and crowds in Kuta.

A beautiful hotel , with an outstanding view of the real Bali.

The staff are ever so kind, they do have some difficulty understanding english but go out of there way to be of service. The 10 min. shuttle ride is definetly worth it as you can't get such a location in the center of Ubud. The grounds are breathtaking, the views from the balcony in the rooms is surreal. We highly recommend this hotel.

Nice!!

Came straight from central Kuta, so a big and not to mention needed change of pace. Views are amazing, people are great and the hotel was spotless. easy to get into Ubud witht the free drop off and pick up but we just hired a scooter for about $5 AUD per day in Ubud.

Worth the stay, plenty of options around the area for physical activity to keep you busy.

Take this hotel off your list, do not waste a wonderful Bali vacation here

This hotel has the most spectular view of the river valley that if managed properly could be a jewel. Unfortunately, the lack of an english speaking on-site general manager and poor international language skiils prevent this. Examples include assigning and delivering the wrong bags to the wrong room, bugs and dirt in rooms, no chairs on a private pool, no functioning bar, and a poorly timed shuttle service. The local staff lacks training and most significantly leadership serving an international cliental. Several customers checked out early and most had problems that appeared to be communciations related. Thje owners need to wake up and staff the place with professionally trained hotel management personnel, and not a low cost local staffer without the necessary skills. AVOID THIS PROPERTY.

Spectacular Views

This charming, country-side hotel is about a 15-minute drive away from Ubud town center. The hotel has spectacular views of the Ayung river and surrounding jungle. Two great infinity pools let you enjoy your stay in this idyllic and quiet hotel.

The rooms are spacious and clean with faux marble throughout the room and bathroom.

The service in the hotel could be a bit more proactive though, e.g. you have to find a waiter to order drinks/food to consume at the pool.

Also the breakfast buffet was rather basic. It's probably better to eat outside the hotel.

The service is excellent, the hotel staff are friendly and they would go the extra miles to help make your stay pleasant. Although the hotel is a little further from the Ubud central they offer a shuttle service which you could arrange at your convenient with the hotel staff. The view is breathtaking too. I would recommend it to people who would like to explore outside Ubud central and love nature walks.

Friendly and helpful service and great value for money for such a beautiful location high above the ravine, overlooking forest. Two beautiful swimming pools. Very flexible on shuttle rides into Ubud and back - Few people seem to eat in the restaurant other than at breakfast so atmosphere is very quiet - for any kind of evening entertainment Ubud is the destination (about 15-20 minutes drive). Small local village with basic provisions. Bicycles available and white water rafting also nearby. Recommended if you like peaceful surroundings,

This hotel was great, staff were very helpful but sometimes problems with understanding English, but this added to the fun of it.

Rooms beautiful, very spacious, linen could be improved.

About 25 mins from Ubud, which didn't really create a problem as there was always a shuttle bus. Food at hotel reasonably priced.

View from rooms wonderful, overlooking hillsides and river. Good value.

뷰가 너무 환상적입니다♡ 이 가격에 이런 뷰라니..
붐비지 않아 수영장 남편이랑 둘만 써서 좋았고요. 수질 깨끗해요!
시내 멀어서 불편하지만 미리 시간맞추면 픽드랍 가능합니다. 음식 배달도 잘 오고 직원들도 친절하십니다.
멋진 뷰 보면서 수영하고 조용히 푹 쉬실 분들만 오셔요. . 글구 연식이 있다보니 낡은 느낌과 정글안이라 작은 벌레들은 좀 있어요. 외출시 에어컨 빵빵하게 틀고 가세요. 습해서 침구류 금방 꿉꿉해져요.
단점은 그닥 신경쓰이지 않을 만큼 만족합니다. 감사히 잘 쉬다 갑니다^^

写真通りの景色で、実際はもう言葉にならないくらい最高でした。静かで、神々しく。これがウブドかなぁ、と
街までは、車で、３０分と遠く、ホテルの周りは何もなく、コンビニさえ歩いていけません。だからこそのこの環境なのかな。ワイファイも問題ないです。逆にデジタルデトックスができませでした。誘惑に勝てない。どうしても虫は多いです。おこもりしたい人には最高です！
ホテルのスタッフはとても親切です。日本円の両替はできません。

何と言っても　パヤンガンの渓谷美を全ての部屋から堪能出来るように
建てられているのが　素晴らしい。朝から夕まで移り変わる美しい森の風景を飽きることなく見ることが出来る。これどウブド！！
部屋も高級感がある割にかなり安い。
ウブドセンターから３０分ほどかかるが、フリーのシャトルを自分の都合に合わせてリクエスト出来るサービスもすごい。
余りメジャーなホテルではないので、ゲストが少ないのが気がかり。
もっと、人気があって良いはずの素敵なホテルでした。

Det er et rigtig fint hotel med godt personale. Pool og udsigt fås ikke meget bedre. Hotellet er for personer der sætte pris på fred og ro, uden børne og bilstøj. Det ligger væk fra byen og tager ca 25-30 min til ubud. Det var rigtig fint for os, og der var gratis transport.

발리에서 묵었던 숙소 중 최고였습니다. 정글쪽이라 숙소 가는 길이 멀었지만 그만큼 가치가 있는 숙소입니다. 어떤 비싼 숙소들보다 수영장이 예쁘고, 객실 발코니에서 보이는 정글뷰는 정말이지 말로 표현할 수 없을 정도로 아름답습니다. 조식 또한 너무 훌륭하고 직원분들도 모두 친절합니다. 다음에 발리를 다시 방문한다면 또 이곳을 선택하고 싶습니다.

Magnifique séjour dans cet hotel. C’est la deuxième fois que j’y séjourne en deux ans. Le personnel est toujours à l’écoute, l’hotel est propre. L’hotel est excentré d’Ubud mais un système de navette gratuite est mis à disposition, permettant de se rendre à Ubud en 15 min. Je recommande vraiment cet hotel qui est un havre de paix.
Gros coup de coeur pour la piscine à débordement avec vue sur la jungle ainsi que pour les massages.

Schönes Hotel mit atemberaubender Aussicht

Das Hotel bietet warscheinlich die schönste Aussicht! Der Pool ist ebenfalls ein Highlight. Die gesamte Anlage ist beeindruckend.
Das Frühstück ist einfach gehalten. Für jemanden mit keinen hohen Ansprüchen i.O. Es gibt einen gratis Shuttle Service von/nach Ubud!
Zimmer sind groß und haben das wichtigste. Die Zimmer wirken nur etwas kalt. Die Sauberkeit war auch völlig i.O.

Останавливались в номере Deluxe Suite с джакузи на балконе. Отель для расслабления и уединения с природой. Прекрасный вид с балкона на реку и джунгли. Красивая и живописная территория и бассейны. Вкусная еда в ресторане - постарались опробовать максимальное количество блюд индонезийской кухни. Заказывали трансферы из аэропорта и в Нуса Дуа, бесплатный трансфер в Убуд. На три дня - идеальное место для отдыха.

Schön, aber etwas in die Jahre gekommen

Wir haben 5 Nächte im Rijasa verbracht. Die Anlage ist sehr schön, vor allem der Infinity-Pool mit tollem Ausblick. Nach Ubud sind es 20 Minuten und der Shuttle-Service vom Hotel sehr nützlich.
