Breakfasts Brought to the room after making selection the night before. Greatest choice of items all freshly done and delicious. Fabulous room with 4 poster bed all cottages very private around the beautiful grounds.
The staff are so friendly and can't do enough to help you and make your stay perfect.

My family and I stayed here for approximately two weeks and booked three rooms. From the moment we arrived, our experience was very pleasant and comfortable. The rooms were consistently very clean, well maintained, and spacious enough for a long stay, which made a big difference for our family.

The staff truly stood out during our visit. Everyone was incredibly friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with anything we needed. They went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcomed and taken care of throughout our stay.

Unfortunately, after about five days in Bali, I became ill. During that time, the staff were exceptionally supportive and compassionate. They helped me feel at ease and were even willing to arrange a doctor for me, which I deeply appreciated. Their kindness and professionalism during a stressful situation meant a lot to us.

Overall, our stay was excellent, and the level of service made it even more memorable. I would absolutely stay here again and would highly recommend this place to families or anyone looking for a comfortable and caring environment.

Samas cottages was a great place to stay in Ubud. It was tucked away from the main street but easy walking distance to the main street to all the restaurants. The staff were really friendly. The breakfast was great and served on our veranda in the mornings. The villa was perfect for 2 adults and 2 teenagers. Pool area was nice. Great that we were able to swim in the evenings after a busy day.

Would recommend this as a great value place to stay. Would stay here again if in Ubud.

If you want a quiet room, book the regular rooms instead of the villas that are right infront of a bar that plays loud music until about 11 pm

Disappointed with the cleanliness.
The thicker blanket had a dirty pants folded into it. Not sure how long it has been there.
No aircondtioning on the second foor of the 3 bedroom villa
Only 2 bathrooms with the bathroom in the first floor inside the main bedroom. No common bathroom for downstairs.
Loud until about 11 pm because of a bar just outside.

Had a little staycation in Ubud since I sadly got sick after travel, and really enjoyed my stay here! I wasn't able to book a massage for the day we arrived so recommend booking as early as possible. Besides, the location is great so there are tons of spas, restaurants, etc. within walking distance. Staff is friendly, breakfast options were good, and bed was very comfortable. A/C in room and nice shower and bath tub. Recommend!

Great property with beautiful rooms! The location is fantastic and within walking distance of lots of excellent shops and restaurants. My only complaint was that the pillows were very hard, so I ended up sleeping on my travel pillow. Hopefully they’ll upgrade to something softer. Otherwise, I had an excellent stay and would definitely stay here again.

Lovely accommodation and small resort but unfortunately we didn't get to experience what Ubud had to offer as my son was unwell. We chose the accommodation as it was convenient to access the Monkey Sanctuary, palace, market etc but the streets outside are extremely busy. The pharmacy was a few doors away which was helpful. There was also a closely located yoga facility and cooking school.

I came to Bali to be on a tour with other teachers. As I get older I find my body doesn’t do well with time zone changes so I usually arrive 2 days early to get my body acclimated. I booked this hotel to catch up on my sleep and I found everything I needed — a comfortable, clean room with excellent air conditioning, friendly staff, delicious breakfast and a great location when I wanted to venture out.

Gorgeous private villa just off Bisma Road, very central, only noise was from a bar opposite but not every night and only til 10:45pm. We loved the private plunge pool after a hot sticky day sight-seeing. Lovely upstairs lounge with balcony.

The staff were lovely, always happy to help and so friendly, nothing was a problem.

We also loved the quiet oasis that our villa was away from the noisy traffic of Ubud. It was so central and easy to walk around but it was very private and quiet. Only small issue was the live music next door on Sat night but it was done by 11pm so didn't disrupt our sleep too much.

Bar across the road plays hard rock until 11pm most nights, it’s like sleeping next to a speaker very loud, The cafe in the morning starts prepping around 6am ..but if your ok with this then it’s a great place to stay or stay in one of the villas past the pool a lot qieter

The villa itself was beautifully designed, offering both comfort and privacy. The nature-filled surroundings provided a serene escape, perfect for unwinding. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. Please note that the fan cooled room is 20 m2, not the 45 m2 listed here. The fan cooled room smells mouldy. I cancelled my booking after seeing the room. The staffs were not responsive initially when I told them about the issues. They said that they didn’t put the description of 45m2 online, it was the owner, so it’s not their problem. Expedia Australia is so hard to reach in Indonesia. But at the end I got my refund. It’s been several weeks since my cancellation and they still haven’t changed the description, so I just wanted to leave this review to remind others.

Beautiful cottages in the heart of Ubud. Quiet. Position is fantastic for shopping and lovely restaurants. Staff here were helpful and lovely. I cannot fault this beautiful balinese haven. Breakfast was delivered to the room every morning at a time to suit. Beds are very firm. Water machine in room for cold water and to fill your kettle. The pool was lovely. Restaurant is not on the premises but a very short walk. This was a delightful place to stay in Ubud.

Loved our stay here in the big villa! They set up 2 twin beds for our kids. Large, comfortable, AC and WiFi worked well. Kitchen with very basic amenities was convenient. Superb breakfast included, you select your choices the night before and they deliver to your room. Fantastic location near the main part of town near many great restaurants and shops. Staff was wonderful. Grounds are beautiful. Kids loved the pool area. Enjoyed some spa services up in the tower! Totally recommend this place!

Satisfactory stay, here are key points.
Resort's Staff : extremely polite and helpful.
Resorts location : very convenient.
Breakfast : not so good but plenty of food options around, just few meters away.
Lush green property hence mosquitos are around but the hotel staff everything possible to keep them away.
Internet was an issue, not good coverage in the rooms which are located at some distance from the reception area.
Overall, satisfactory experience, full marks to the hotel staff.

We loved Samas cottages. The room was beautiful and a good size for a family of 4 (kids are 8 and 10). Breakfast on the front patio was a favourite for us all, a wonderful way to start our day.

The staff were super helpful and the on-site massage wonderful.

We loved the location, just a quick walk to major tourist attractions but loved hanging out on the street the cottages are on. Great restaurants and a lovely vibe.

Peaceful retreat from the bustle of Ubud

This is a fabulous little villa with pool secluded behind vegetation off a busy street. Terraced so it is quiet and private. Staff are so gracious and the location is fabulous for walking to the sights, the art market and restaurants. Easy access to the walks to the little local rice fields and cafes. Thanks Sama’s my daughters and I loved our stay!

Had a comfortable week’s stay at the Ayu Villa, just next to the reception and pool. While it was convenient, noise was a problem especially from the restaurant next door that played rock and roll music till around 10.30 every night! The staff are pretty friendly and Mega at the reception in particular was exceptional. She helped me plan my entire stay which included booking transport, dinner reservations and side trips to Tanah lot etc.

Lovely helpful staff. Nothing was too much trouble.
Cleaned room very well each day.
They are trying to reduce plastic waste (something not very common in Bali yet) so they have glass water bottles and you can re-fill your reusable water bottle from their supply for a small charge.
Lovely choice of breakfast cooked to order each day, just select what you want and what time the day before.

Tout est parfait ! Le lieu tout d’abord, calme et luxuriant. La gentillesse, la disponibilité du personnel et sa discrétion. Les bungalow sont très mignons et indépendants. Le petit déjeuner est apporté sur la terrasse à l’heure que l’on choisit. J’ai apprécié me reposer près de la piscine loin de l’agitation d’Ubud.
