It is a distant out of Ubud central or the market and by taxi it cost 80 - 100k IDr or $10AUD and alot of stairs to climb up and down everytime you go to breakfast or out. The setting is the main sale of this property and views.

Nice secluded property in Ubud, perfect for honeymooners. Our room has its own private pool, with hot and cold water, kitchen (which we didn’t use), microwave oven and fridge. Staff are friendly too. The room is clean with clean sheets and pillows. What we didn’t like are the towels that have turned grayish with stains. Overall, we had a pleasant stay.

Nice, small hotel with villas with private pool. Room was spacious and clean. Good air con. Nice outdoor sitting area, fridge and cooking area. Clean plunge pool. Rooms cleaned daily. Breakfast included offered a decent selection. Service was good at restaurant. Prices slightly higher then in Ubud but not much. Rented motorbike from hotel was great. About 10-15min drive to Ubud. Quiet location. Friendly staff.

Spacious villa close to everything in Ubud

Awesome experience at the villa! Beautiful pool and so much space to chill, indoor or outdoor.
Honest staff. Our scooter had a flat tire at the city centre and the staff replaced our scooter and were very helpful - with no extra charge (we tipped though).
Definitely would come back again!

Loved the Villa!

Staying at this location was a great experience. It is a little outside of downtown but easily accessible by scooter or shuttle. The property has each of the villas separated and you have plenty of privacy. With your own pool for the villa, how could you go wrong. The only small thing to comment on was they could clean up the dead leaves on the tress behind the villa we were in. But overall a GREAT experience for my fiance'e and I!! We would definitely go back.

A relaxing and comfortable getaway

It was a great stay for us, a family of 4-adults. It makes sense to at least have one day lounge about at the Villa just to enjoy the experience there.

Pro: Breakfast (Alternative breakfast) was very filling and it made it easier that we could place our orders the night before and have it served at the time we requested. You could get breakfast delivered to your room for a small fee. The rooms were clean and comfortable whilst the compound very well kept. The private pool was great length and depth for a fairly good swim and lounge about.

Con: Steps were a challenge if you have a bad knee or with walking disability as you had to go down a flight and up a flight to get to the rooms. The pool was not as private as we had like it to be as people could just look over the fence as they walked by our compound.

Tip: If you want to see lush paddy fields (we had in front of our room), see times when these paddy fields are ripe. We went just after they replanted new batch so it was quite a meek view. Also, I think they only had one or two irons, so make sure you book early if you need to do some ironing.

The Villas are quite far from lobby, many stairs not suitable for elders. Hotel charged everything, even for in room BF,should have given it as service to their costumer, considering the distance from lobby/ restaurant to villas. Aircon needs to be fixed. At nite, room service, receptionist and even security couldnt be contacted.

tranquility in a villa away from the crowds!!!!

loved this private little villa + pool set back in this tropical little oasis. i just wanted to spend all my time sitting out on the outdoor kitchen/living room deck .... listening to the water rapids from the hotels own private mini river.... such a special little gem located off the main grid, so it's nice & quiet/serene.... and you can tell the manager takes great pride in the place & service! only wish there was more shuttle service to central ubud, but perhaps that will come in time...... ;)

I stayed at Heaven Sayan for four nights on a trip to Ubud with four friends.

We all love Ubud, and have been back many times. This was our first time at Heaven Sayan, but I'm sorry to say it will most definitely be our last.

Heaven Sayan is described as a luxury resort, and in some ways it is; Nice building, a sparking pool for every villa.... But in so many other, very important ways, it is not.

The service was appalling. Every single breakfast we had at the hotel was a miserable struggle. Simple orders like coffee and tea were forgotten, the tables were never set with cutlery, requests for cutlery were ignored, boxes of tissues in place of napkins, sloooooowwwww service and, sometimes rude service. When my friend asked to order a different breakfast after her first order of a cheese jaffle arrived stale and cold, she was told that she was only allowed one breakfast choice and she wasn't allowed another meal.... The décor in the breakfast room was makeshift at best; Smirnoff Ice bottles glued onto plywood planks and used as flower vases were evocative of a Kuta backpacker hostel.

Then there was the matter of the rooms; Beds not made up after coming home from a long day out in Ubud, Towels taken but not replaced with fresh ones, a kitchen so poorly equipped that the cupboard contained one glass, two mugs and a single plate for four people, room service plates not cleared away for almost two days, even after multiple requests.... the list goes on and on.

Great for a relaxing few days.

Fabulously relaxing break. The villas are about 20mins walk from the centre of Ubud but there is a shuttle twice a day.
There are no restaurants at bars close by so you need to eat on site.
The menu is not vast but it's ok.
They don't sell spirits and only 4 wine based cocktails so it's a bit restrictive.
But for a long relaxing weekend away from the crowds it was perfect.

This being my first visit to Bali I was impressed the professional but very friendly and caring behaviour of the staff.
They paid immediate attention to any request and are up to the customers expectations.
I recommend to anyone going to UBUD and learn about Bali history art and culture

Loved our stay at Heaven Sayan. It felt like we were surrounded by a mini rainforest and very relaxing. A bit far from the centre but they do offer free shuttle twice a day. Thanks for having us and we will be back in the future.

A really nice place to stay if you want to get away from the usual Bali experience. The plunge pool is great. Staff are friendly and warm. Wifi very good. Small criticisms that it was the first time I have been charged for a bowl of ice, scooter hire 40% more than renting privately and the outdoor area including kitchen/dining areas get very dusty, but not a lot that can be done about that. Overall a very pleasant stay

A piece of heaven in Ubud

The villa was everything I hoped for. It was beautiful and very comfortable. The hotel staff provides excellent service and made us completely at home. The walk from front desk to our villa was a bit of challenge because there were many steps and I brought my one year old. But we didn't mind, it was a great excercise while enjoying spectacular view. I also love the food they served us....I think ot was one of the best hotel food I ever tasted.

The location is indeed a bit out of Ubud central, but you can reach it within 10-15 minutes drive. Along the road you can find great places to eat or hang out such as Gaya Gelato, Bambu Indah Resort and Nasi Ayam Kedewatan Bu Mangku.

I'd love to stay there again when I visit Ubud in the future.

Lovely place to stay, need to use a driver or hire scooters to get into town, under $10. Staff very helpful, Duty Manager went out of his way to assist and make our stay enjoyable. Nice private villas. Lots of stairs to get to rooms, but wasn't a problem for us. Only downfall would be the food and drink menu, it was ok, but it's the only thing that I feel could be improved. Overall stay was very pleasant and I would go back again.

Book this place and ENJOY it like we did!

Ubud Heaven Sayan is the most beautiful place we stayed at on our entire 2 month vacation. We wish we had more time there and have already told other travelers we run into to go there. We had the family villa with a private pool and rice paddies in our garden. Spacious area and everything was clean and beautiful. The whole resort land is really nice and we went exploring around the bridge and creek. Staff was really nice also and food was good. It is a short drive from Ubud central streets, which is a good thing. The hotel had free shuttles or affordable taxis and you got a fresh, relaxing feel being away from the vendor-filled streets. I don't write reviews for many of the places we stay, but I wanted to write one for Heaven Sayan because it was THAT GOOD! Book and enjoy! We hope the prices are as good when we come back to Bali someday and stay there again.

The place is far from centrale ubud. But easily accessible by taxi. We had the 2 bedroom villa with private pool. I loved the place. The hotel food was aweful. The spaghetti and pizza sauce was ketchup. But overall, its a really neat place. I'd go back again for sure.

Confusing directions.. But great hotel

Getting to the hotel was a nightmare, there are two locations. The one on google maps is the main location. Heaven sayan is a short drive away. Call ahead and make sure you/your driver knows where you're going.

When I showed up at the main location after walking for 10 minutes (can't get to by car), they told me I was at the wrong place and didn't apologize or offer to give me a ride back to the car with their golf cart things..

Besides that, everything was great. Loved the privacy and pool with the deluxe bungalow.

Not worth it

We had no tv and no radio but roosters were far too noisy. I'd rather watch tv. Breakfast was fine but dinner was not worth what we paid. Staff were lovely. 2 shuttles a day not enough into ubud. pool was too cold could not swim in it. We left early was not worth the money.

2. No need to worry about drinking water.

3. Good environment with natural living style.

Cons:

1. No breakfast buffet but limited ala carte menu instead.

2. This hotel might not be suitable for travelers who need wheelchair or elders that cannot walk far (a lot of staircase from the entrance to hotel room).

3. No TV provided.

4. No room phone provided; unable to contact receptionist immediately from room if required.

Our initial arrival had us a bit worried, Ubud Heaven is still under construction and in the middle of nowhere it seems but once we arrived it was amazing. The staff were very helpful and the villa was gorgeous.
Our driver told us that the next time we visit it would be more expensive, as the resort was still under construction but the completed villas were of 5 star quality. We loved it!

The hotel is great except for the fact it is hard to find and not accessible by car. If you are traveling with a lot of luggage, then be prepared to walk a fair distance carrying your luggage. As well as walking a lot down some dark alleys any time you come and go. If that doesn't bother you then the place is great. Nice patio, pool and spacious rooms.

first time traveling to Bali, Ubud Heaven Sayan was perfect for us to. own private pool and beautiful country scenery. genuine customer service! pleasant staff. the bedding is a bit uncomfortable since it a hard mattress and wooden frame bed. but easily settle in 2nd night :-) otherwise a lovely stay!

The first night we had no idea how to get into town and the resort seemed a little remote. There's no main office/lobby you can go to, everyone comes directly to your room for anything you need and if you arrive after dark it would be difficult to get there exploring on your own. After we figured out how to get into town, we realized we were pretty close. They give you a thing to keep mosquitos away and you sleep in a mosquito net. This initially concerned me (how many bugs would there be??), but there really weren't many for being in the middle of the jungle.

Not the right hotel

We booked the Ubud Heaven Sayan but were placed in another hotel, which was a few kilometres away and had limited access to Ubud centre. The hotel we were in had no reception and no restaurant. To cap it all our room was 'invaded' by two young women who went to the wrong Villa.
I think part of the problem was that the hotel had us down as requiring a 2 bedroom villa, which certainly was not what I requested from Expedia/Wotif and was not on the booking form.
I think, based on current experience, a few things get lost in translation in Bali

Good villa but location is difficult to find

Nice and clean villa, close to nature..but far from reception and very difficult to find. If you are taking any tours, the driver won't b able to find it easily. We had to be picked up from villa at 2am for mt batur trekking and inspite of instructions give to the reception to escort the driver to villa, they didn't and disconnected the phone as well. It took 45mins for the driver to find us. Also there are no phone service in villa

Nice Villa closer to Paddy fields...

It was memorable. The Villa location was unexpected and the first day on arrival was difficult to adapt too. However things got better and turned out to be wonderful.

The staffs were generally helpful and kind and pleasing.

The breakfast served from the main Villa on the other side of the village was nice however lacking in variety!

Kids would have loved a TV and a DVD player.

Over all satisfied.

Muy alejado del centro. La habitación, no muy limpia. Y los empleados, cuidado, intentan venderte cosas( tours,oros, coches...) fuera de los del hotel.... el aire acondicionado estuvo estropeado los cinco días, por más que lo dijimos, como si nada. Tres días pedimos te en el desayuno y todavía lo estamos esperando. Se nos rompió la llave de la habitacion( estaba mal desde el principio) y querían q la pagáramos....muy bonito pero muy poco práctico. Ni los taxistas sabían donde estaba

Wir waren im Juni auf Bali für ca 10 Tage. Haben uns zuerst für ein Hotel in Ubud entschieden, um näher an den Sehenswürdigkeiten zu sein.Das Hotel befindet sich auf einer ganz normen Straße, wobei man sich garnicht vorstellen kann, dass so ein großes Hotel sich hinter den Bäumen versteckt.
Das Personal ist sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Richtung Zimmer läuft man über eine Brücke im \"Dschungel\", sehr sehr schön.
Das Zimmer war klein und fein, hatte eine eigene Küche.
Der Pool guckt in Richtung Dschungel. Niemand kann euch während man im Pool ist, sehen. Der Pool wird alle 2 Tage von den Blättern die in den Pool fallen gesäubert. Es sind fast garkeine Tiere dort, wovor meine Frau Angst hatte (ausser Frösche abends, was nicht so schlimm ist).
Tipp: In der Nähe vom Hotel befindet sich ein Restaurant/Bar The SAYAN House. (2 Minuten zu Fuß)..Sehr sehr schöne Aussicht zu Reisfeldern und Palmen unbeschreiblich schön, was man genauso wie das Hotel nicht erwartet. Ein Besuch wert!!

Hinter dem Hotel befindet sich noch ein Restaurant, den man zu Fuß 2 Minuten erreichen kann. Da könnt ihr gerne das Personal fragen, wir wussten das nämlich auch nicht. Damit man abends essen kann, muss man dann schon mit dem Auto los, zu Fuß sind die beiden Restaurants sehr gut zu erreichen.

Das Frühstück war auch in Ordnung, man hat mehrere Gerichte zu Auswahl. (Pancake, Waffel, spiegelei, Rührei...)

Man kann Mofas mieten für 60.000 Rp/Tag. Fahrer bekommt man überall per Reception problemlos.

価格・サービス・値段共にトータル的に満足出来るホテルです。
他の口コミの通りスタッフはフレンドリーで優しく対応が良く感じがとてもよかったです。

・部屋にセキュリティボックスがありませんでしたが、フロントのセキュリティボックスを使用しましたが、安心して預けることが出来ました。
・お掃除も数名できちんとされていました。（ベットマットシーツは毎日交換されてないようなので気になる方は、一言お願いすればきちんと交換して頂けます。調べたら海外ではシーツを交換しない事が当たり前のようですが・・・）
・バスタオルはありますが、フェイスタオルがないので必要な方は一枚持参されるとよいと思います。
・ビンタンスーパーは歩いて20分位の所にあり、畑や民家のところを景色を見ながら行くのも楽しいです。（裏道のほうが楽しいです）
・ホテルの裏側を歩くと近くに畑の中で食事が出来る場所もあるので立地的には特に困る場所ではありませんでした。

ゆっくりした時間をリーズナブルな値段でサービスも良い所を希望される方には、とてもお勧めだと思います。（私は5日連泊しました）

Un atmosfera magica, bellissima villa con una vista suggestiva sulla foresta, pace e privacy. L'unica cosa negativa è il servizio transfer, la struttura si trova a 10 minuti di macchina dal centro di ubud e offre ai suoi ospiti un servizio navetta gratuito per raggiungerlo ma solo dalle 11di mattina alle 2 del pomeriggio per l'andata e un ultima navetta alle 17 per tornare, dopo di che si è costretti a pagare per ricevere questo servizio e non sono economici ( circa 5€ a tratta).

L’emplacement Est magnifique en pleine jungle vraiment dépaysant le villa avec piscine à débordement et sublime est bien rafraîchissante. La villa de style balinais est vraiment conforme au photos , super petit déjeuner et le personnel et très agréable. Il faut juste préciser que le petit déjeuner n’est servi que jusqu’à 9h30 et pas 10 h comme indiqué !

10月に5泊しました。この価格帯できれいなプライベートプール付き、自然に囲まれながらのんびりできました。
敷地内に小さな川があり、ヴィラには橋を渡っていきます。また徒歩10分くらいにアユン川が流れ、小さなライステラスもありました。
朝ご飯はオムレツ、ナシゴレンなど10種類くらいから選べ、木々を見ながらとります。朝ご飯中に部屋を掃除してくれるので、その後は部屋やプールでのんびりできました。
街の中心部から歩くと40分、街の観光中心の旅なら少し不便ですが、基本は部屋でのんびりしながら少しずつ観光するような旅にはオススメです。

Hotellet var i noe dårlig forfatning og bar preg av at det var gammelt. Vi leide en villa med to soverom, og den var stor og hadde store rom. Pluss for eget basseng, men solsengene var veldig harde. Slitne bad, men eller OK standard.

Bellissima struttura nella foresta

Ottima l'accoglienza da parte del personale ...professionale, qualificato, gentile, sempre con il sorriso...ti sentivi a casa.
La villa \"Waru\" che ci è stata assegnata è splendida ed in ottime condizioni, pulizia impeccabile.
Ci siamo proprio trovati a nostro agio in un ambiente altamente rilassante e tranquillo.

Muy descontentos con el servicio

Es una pena que con lo bien que están las instalaciones con piscina privada, tengan tan mal servicio, al llegar nos ofrecieron motos para alquilar, al decirle que si, nos dicen que no tiene, Esa noche La Luz de la piscina privada no funciona y no hay nadie quien lo
Arregle, siguiente día pedimos un masaje a las 17h que publican en la misma habitación que el servicio acaba a las 21h y dicen que no puede ser que es tarde, siguiente día pedimos cena a las 19:30 y nos dicen que solo queda pasta, me parece muy mal servicio para un hotel de este precio en Indonesia, con ese dinero pueden ir a otro parecido o incluso más barato que ofrezca mejor servicio.

Un endroit paradisiaque dans la nature

Je recommande fortement cet Hotel magnifique en plein milieu de la végétation. Chambre très spacieuse avec une immense terrasse et une belle piscine à débordement donnant sur la luxuriante végétation, parfait pour se reposer après une journée de visite avec un guide dans tous bali. Des navettes sont disponible gratuitement pour se rendre au centre d'ubud. Deux petits reproche tout de même, un bungalow n'est pas très insonorisé et nos voisins était assez bruyant quelque soir cela peut être gênant surtout lorsque vous vous levez tôt pour partir visiter bali avec votre guide. Mais bon l'hôtel n'y ai pour rien. Et deuxième élément il y a des scooter en location à la réception de l'hôtel, seulement aucun n'étaient disponible pendant les 2 jours dont nous en avions besoin. Heureusement qu'il y a les navettes.
