I really liked The Club, it was very cozy and clean. It was great too because they have both a beach and pool on premises. The property is laid out in more of a villa design. Rooms were quiet and clean. There was some kind of entertainment every night, and there are 2 restaurants and a food truck on site. Get your reservations early!

One thing of note, the food service staff was not exactly friendly. In the morning they would pour your coffee and zip off not returning at all to see if you needed cream- so black coffee it was..... Food was more catered to British and Canadian crowd, which I was ok with. Most Americans would miss a more familiar cuisine.

Lastly, I felt the really nice thing was that although our plan left at 4 and checkout was 11, The Club allows you to stay and enjoy all while they place your bags on the side. You won't be kicked out and they won't charge you extra.

Overall a very nice place!

This was not a true all inclusive resort. The majority of staff was not pleasant. The food was mediocre to be kind. However Barbados was a place I would travel to again more than likely it would be a different resort.

The shower did not drain properly. Food was mediocre at best. Buffet often ran out of food and had to wait to get it replaced. Staff was friendly though and the gorunds were nice. Had a great time on island but resort was a disappointment.

On our very first day for our very first meal, my wife got food poisoning from the salad and was in bed almost all week long. We had to cancel all of our excursions as she didn’t have the energy to do anything. We ran into more than one employee that was more rude than anything else. We’ve traveled lots of different places. I will never go back to this hotel ever again.

Rooms were clean and spacious.
Food was very good…they were able to accommodate severe allergies with one of our friends.
Nightly entertainment was great and then night was finished in the piano bar.
It would have been nice to have a pianist every night instead of just music.
Bars and bartenders were awesome….but the main bars closed at roughly 10:30 which meant you had to go to piano bar for a drink instead of sitting outside.
Spa was very relaxing.
Recreation team were top notch.
Special shoutout to Rohan, Vembe, Mia and GM Caroline!

Can be a bit crowded where deck chairs face the sea but what a sunset. The all inclusive drinks great and loved the late piano bar but the food wasn't great, just lumped all the cheeses in one container. Room facing sea was very nice. Prefered Bouganvillea.

Overall the resort felt more like a senior citizen resort, we are early 40s and probably the youngest folks there. The room was okay, we had an amazing view but no balcony to sit on. The bed was hard, the bathe towels were NOT the best. Definitely time for the resort to invest in so new ones. The food was just okay the resort caters more to UK guest, so we had to focus on eating for survival and not the quality of taste. After the second day I stopped drinking because I would have the worst headache each day due to the cheap liquor selections. The staff was friendly enough. There really wasn't entertain especially after 8 pm. So if all you want to due is unplug, sunbathe all day and bask in an amazing view this is your place. If you trying to have a good time dancing and listening to music, etc with a lively crowd… not the place for you.

Enjoyed the resort overall however did not expect as many buffet meals at an all inclusive. Good entertainment every night, but way too loud. Good location, easy walking distance to Holetown. Lastly my wife has a walker and the resort is not very handicap friendly.

Many things were wrong. The room was not good at all. From mold on the bathroom to visable dirty sheets and towels. We asked for new towels and new sheets and it took them literally 4 hours to come and give them to us. We asked for bottled water and they said that they do not provide any bottle water only the 2 bottles that are in the room when we arrived. When asking a question they seemed bothered when having to answer. The island is gorgeous, but this resort is absolutely horrible. I have never complained about anywhere. I’ve ever stayed anywhere except this place. It was very very uncomfortable. I’ve been meaning to contact Expedia regarding it. I just didn’t want to be that person. I feel as though I should be definitely compensated for something having to sleep in uncomfort the beds were lopsided, and you felt like you were falling off. Please let me know what I would have to do to be compensated for this.

Absolutely lovely resort. The staff were so incredibly helpful and kind, you could book almost anything directly through the resort which made making plans so much easier. They had activities daily at the resort, most were free but they had a few options that would cost a little extra but no more than 15 usd for each, our room was clean and spacious, the food was outstanding, I will definitely be returning to the club in the future!!

The breakwater and reefs afforded excellent snorkelling right off the front of our room. The beach staff could have been friendlier, as could have some of the restaurant employees. The pool maintenance staff and the bartenders were very friendly. We loved our ocean front suite and the option to eat meals on the outside terrace. The meals provided were thoughtfully curated and quite varied. We did not participate in the evening entertainment activities, but it seemed that many guests enjoyed them. Having a pickle ball court on site was a plus for us. The billiard table was laughably unbalanced so could use a tune-up. Sandy Lane Beach is quite easily accessible from the hotel if you don’t mind wading through a foot of water. The pools were lovely and we loved the little calico resort kitty. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back!

We had a 3 night stay here, the hotel was ok, we’ve stayed in 5 star hotels for the same price, but Barbados has a price tag!
Our room was nice overlooking the sea, and it was very clean.
The staff do differ, some are lovely and friendly, and others are arrogant and rude! This needs addressing as it did put me off.
Food and drink was average, nothing to write home about. It was mostly buffet style.
Location was good easy walk to some shops, bars restaurants.

The beach wasn't one you could walk out and enjoy.
Dinning came as 1st come 1st serve. You had to pick a time at breakfast for dinner if you wanted to eat before 8pm. Snake menus never changed n you waited an hour or longer for just nachos. Sit down Dinning could take up to 2 hours to be served appetizers through desert.

First Impressions: Upon check-in, I was immediately struck by the guest demographic—most visitors were at least three decades older than me. I’ll admit, I was shocked at first, as I hadn’t expected such a significant age gap. That said, the guests turned out to be incredibly welcoming, and I felt embraced by the community. Accessibility & Accommodation: One of the biggest hurdles was being initially placed on the second floor, despite the resort not having elevators. As someone with a handicap, this was concerning. Thankfully, the staff quickly accommodated my needs and ensured I had accessible arrangements. This responsiveness made a huge difference in my stay. Tip for future travelers: Call ahead to confirm accessibility needs. I did try calling before arrival, but unfortunately, no one answered the phone. Staff Highlights: The staff truly made my trip memorable. Their warmth and attentiveness stood out: Darious (Waiter): Always attentive and made meals enjoyable. Jermaine (Bartender): Hands down the best bartender. Shelly (Food Service): Went above and beyond to ensure our table was accessible and handled any issues seamlessly. Natalie: Helped track down a list of recommended staff from prior guests, which was incredibly thoughtful. Joshua (Front Desk): Made check-in smooth and stress-free. Dave (New Server): Though new, he provided excellent service at dinner and added to the positive experience.

The location, amenities with pool and spa were terrific. The food was also very good and the service was considerate of our needs. I recommend this resort, and it seemed to cater to a European crowd. The staff worked hard to keep the party going at night with concerts, karaoke, and nightly DJ. We had fun and made some new friends.

Older resort. Mostly retired guests but they were fun to be around. I am in my early 50's and they partied harder than us. 😂 Staff was great. Room was clean. We had a room on the ground floor right by the pool and restaurants. Food and drinks were good. Only issue we had was when ordering from the bar, it took almost an hour to get 2 order of nachos.

The room was spotless , it was as described, the customer service experienced was excellent . Special thanks to the Chefs Matthew , Janell Natika and Shurland who took time to ensure that our meals were allergy free ( we have a long list of food allergy ) delicious and beautifully presented. The waitresses Sherry , Shelly and Jamailia. The receptionist Cathyann who made each encounter pleasant and outstanding. Those are only some of the names that we were able to remember. MAJOR ISSUE, credit card used for incidentals was compromised and used for over $1,000. in lodging in UK. That was only time i used major credit card. I am still trying to clear up fraud charges.

My wife and I just returned home last week after a wonderful 10 days at Club Barbados. It is an older property but we found the buildings and grounds to be well maintained. Room was always clean and comfortable. Staff was, with very few exceptions, friendly and attentive. Location is great. Shopping across the street and more within walking distance. Easy access to bus and taxi. There is no beach on the resort. You walk down stairs into the water. Sandy lane beach is an easy 10 or 15 steps through knee deep water. Never saw more than 5 or 6 people on that lovely beach. Holetown Beach is a 10 minute walk. Snorkeling at the resort is great. Food is very good. Not much variety in entertainment. Maybe due to off season. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much and would highly recommend!

The property was amazing, a little short(I'm 6'6\" and bonked my head several times).
Food was very nice, geared towards a UK appetite. Be forewarned they do not have carbonation there, so no soda pop(tastes like medicine).
Staff is wonderful, so polite and helpful. Just don't be early or late there will be no exceptions.
The beach is gorgeous, though to walk on the beach you'll have to walk next to the property. There is another resort very close by so it is still easy to get the and between your toes without going into the ocean.

The property was beautiful it was clean. The only thing is that it doesn’t have a real beach with sand for you to lay on. It has stairs that would just lead you to the water. The property does have three pools. I had second guess myself booking this resort but it was really nice. I enjoyed the food at enids restaurant. Amazing

The accommodations were comfortable, the staff was very helpful and the location was right on the water. There was snorkeling on site, and you could check out kayaks and paddle boards. The food was delicious, and you could take the bus right outside to shopping or you could walk to shopping nearby. We would definitely stay at Club Barbados again.

Vinny and Kareen at the bar were amazing! Kareen made sure to ask for our names and always greeted us with a warm hello! The people at water sports area were great - especially Brian! We booked scuba diving, catamaran and jet skis through him. He was off hours on one of the days and ensured our plans went ahead. The food at the resort isn't the best. During dinner it is common to wait for food (appetizers, soup, entree and dessert) for over 2 hours. The wait staff isn't the friendly and the most attentive. The beach is nice but it isn't the typical sand walk into the water but rather beach chairs and a rock wall overlooking the water.

I had read a lot of reviews about this property and was a little apprehensive. But rest assured staff were great, decor and rooms are a little older but that is caribbean style and what the islands were about. food was tasty and freshly made with some good choices, drinks were heavily pourer and some great cocktails. overall great experience, i had a car so i would suggest you rent one as it is needed. i will be back again at the end of the year

We had a time from the moment we checked in until the moment we got in our Taxi to the airport!
Special shoutouts to: Tanya, The lovely lady with red glasses from the front desk; unfortunately we do not remember her name. Also Kareene, Germaine, Owen, Kristianna, Ron and Bailey. The pool guy, Tray who looks like the rapper Gunna was also very nice and great at giving us suggestions for other beaches to visit and go snorkeling at. Every host and server was so sweet and accommodating as well.

If Motel 6 had a resort this would be it. Very dated and run down. We had to switch rooms two times. They use mini splits for AC and they are very musty. If you have sinus issues stay away! Staff was very polite and nice. Very limited selections for food. Average but a few dishes were very good. Definitely not worth the money.

If you are seeking a lively and vibrant atmosphere, this establishment may not be the most suitable choice (My husband and I are 36 years old). It is a more relaxed and intimate setting, not designed for a luxurious experience. The main lobby is relatively small, and the dining options are limited. There are only two restaurants, Eiden, which requires reservations and operates on a limited schedule. Additionally, there is an everyday buffet/restaurant.
During our visit, we encountered an issue with the restaurant’s service. Our server was overwhelmed, and we had to wait over an hour for our main course while the tables seated after us were preparing to leave. This lack of teamwork was evident.
The pool area was also underutilized, with only a few minutes of arobic exercise available. There was no pool bar or music playing to enhance the experience. Overall, this establishment is intended for relaxation.
I stayed from Saturday to Thursday and observed the changes throughout the day. The clientele consisted mainly of older European and British individuals. The communal area is also quite small, and the evening entertainment consisted solely of singers, rather than a large-scale show. The advertisement inaccurately portrays the property. In comparison to other vacation destinations such as Mexico, Jamaica, and the Dominican Republic, I rate this place an 7/10.

Needs to be updated. Not being able to eat whenever is a problem… you can’t find a bite of anything, even snacks, after 9p. The piano bar… but one option. To be able to grab a banana or fruit, or a candy bar or something at any time of the day or night, would be a cheap upgrade. Staff amazing.

The Club Barbados is a very relaxed resort. If you are looking for a lively resort this is not it. The property is clean and the food is good. This property doesn’t have a beach. The beach is near by, however, the lounge chairs belongs to the other hotel property that have the beach access. Some staff were very nice and polite and others not so friendly.

It's an all-inclusive, so what do you expect? The photos look nice, the pools were nice, the food was a C+ at best, there were some very nice people who worked there but you had a 50/50 shot of getting someone who obviously dislikes tourists or their job, or both. The cocktails were a different mix every time due to the experience level of the bartenders, and overall the experience is \"Affordable\" not much else. This kind of experience has its place, but I wouldn't recommend it to my friends.

I rarely if ever write a review, but for this property, I said, I surely must . Personally, I will never stay at this resort. If I knew what I was in for I would have canceled my trip completely. This was for my 30th birthday and literally when I walked into the property. I already knew it was very outdated. The photos don’t really do it justice. Although the staff at the front was friendly, the girls by the bar and at the restaurant were not. It is not solo traveler friendly at all. It was very couple based. More on the older couple based, if you catch my drift. I didn’t stay past one night because I got extremely sick when I woke up my eye was swollen. I still till this day have hives all over my body, and rashes. And when I asked for a cancellation and refund the property told me that it was nonrefundable, even though I had a medical complaint. The sheets were not properly washed, which caused my skin to break out tremendously. Their main office did not care about my medical situation. But I definitely notified my bank and Expedia to let them know that I will be disputing four days out of the five days that I stayed. Ultimately I had to rebook another resort same day which cost an arm and leg, but I’m so glad that I did because I could only imagine how more sick I would’ve gotten if I had stayed.

Nice property with great snorkeling off the beach. Loved the pool! The pool had plenty of room, lots of available chairs and we were able to have cabana chairs daily at no extra charge. Very nice variety of drinks!
Room was nice with geat ocean view and cleaned every day.
Most of the staff where great however a few bad apples that made you feel like a inconvenience to them.

The property is beautiful and well kept. I love the beach access. The door to my bathroom couldn't close, and it was ackward getting into the bathroom - flawed design. Also, it was difficult to sleep in because the vehicles were loud in the morning.

I had a wonderful time here! Great food, great drinks, great staff. As a heads up, there's no elevators, so if you have an oceanfront room it's on the 4th floor. And sometimes the wait was a bit lengthy for the a la carte lunch items. But overall a great stay.

The resort was really cute and LOVED the staff especially in dining room both Natalie and Carmella. I was bummed about not having a beach to lay on. Also my other issue was I didn't feel as if I was in Barbados while on resort. There was not a bit of Soca music played, a lot of yacht rock. I heard the Carpenters but why not play the music of the island so you feel like you're on the island. It doesn't make sense not to. People came to a Caribbean island and should always like it.

The resort was well maintained and the rooms roomy and beds comfy. The staff was very friendly .Shout out to Kareene &Guye,Vinny at the beach bar they were wonderful .Different Activities everyday .Nightly entertainment was very good .And food was very good in both restaurants.Will definitely be back

Dimitri was friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The restaurant host, waitress and the French toast chef were all very friendly and served with smile. However, the front desk staff and housekeeping were sub-par. The front desk staff were not welcoming at all and never smiled. One day as I waited for a taxi, I sat in the lobby and watched several new guests arrive in the lobby and those guests said “hello” to the front desk staff first before they were acknowledged by the staff and on two occasions the staff never even acknowledged new guests who walked in. The front desk staff seemed frustrated with their job. On several occasions they sucked their teeth in discuss.
Our room was never cleaned!! Each day we called for fresh towels and our linen was only changed once the entire stay and we had to ask a cleaning lady to do it. On the first night we ate in our room. Our dishes were placed outside of our room door and remained there for 3 whole days.
The property needs to be pressure washed, a fresh coat of paint and the dry rotted wood should be replaced.
Consider hiring a professional landscaper to beautiful the flowerbeds by removing dead flowers and weeds.

We were actually in tears as we checked out because we’re so sad to leave today. Our stay was everything that we hoped it would be! We booked the Ocean Loft room and had a gorgeous view. If you aren’t able to walk up 4-5 flights, I would double check with the hotel before booking, since elevators aren’t available. Water sports through the resort are free such as paddle boarding, kayaking, etc. You have easy access to the beach, but chairs are only available on the actual property itself. Once you head down to the beach, you are able to bring towels and set up in front of the ocean, where other water sports are available such as jet skiing. The food was AMAZING and every employee was somehow nicer than the last. I would highly encourage anyone visiting to do the 2 hour snorkeling tour - you’ll see an abandoned shipwreck, turtles, stingrays, and various fish. Our stay was perfect from start to finish. 10/10 would recommend!
