Staff were so friendly and helpful, sorting out car hire, and giving advice on places to visit and eat. They couldn’t do enough for us. The place was kept spotlessly clean. I loved the fact that we were able to borrow chairs and umbrellas to take to the beach. Although the hotel is just across the road from the beach not all rooms have a beach view. We had a lovely view of one of the swimming pools. Would definitely recommend Beach View

Just returned from the most amazing stay at Beach View Resort Hotel, Barbados and I can’t recommend it enough! 🌴✨

From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded expectations. The villa was incredibly spacious, perfect for relaxing in comfort and beautifully maintained throughout. It truly felt like a home away from home.

The grounds were spotless and so well kept, which made walking around the resort such a pleasure. You can tell the team take real pride in maintaining the property to a high standard.

If you’re looking for a peaceful, clean and comfortable place to stay in Barbados, Beach View Resort Hotel is definitely worth it. I’ll absolutely be returning! ☀️

The name beach view is deceiving because there’s none. You have to cross a busy highway to get to the beach.
The hotel is nice, small, clean and the staff is helpful. The food is just Ok. There’s no beach bar except for a very small bar near the pool which doesn’t open every day and closes early.

Beach View looked just as advertised. However, I did not get the room that I paid for. The pictures on the Luxury Passion Fruit Suite clearly had ocean views on it. Nonetheless, the taxi driver kept asking me about a Rm # 114. I told her that I know nothing about that number. Once at the hotel, that was the Rm # that they gave me. It was downstairs right in front of the pool. I went to the front desk. The lady there tells me that just because I paid for an ocean view room does not mean that I will get one. I told her she just messed up my 50th birthday trip, and I never heard such a thing in my life. I was later shown a Classic Suite with an ocean view; so basically I got a downgrade without any adjustments in my price. I feel as though they save their best rooms for visitors with longer stays. My five day visit was just as important, and costed money too.

The water and beach are beautiful, perfect for snorkelling. The only downside is that it’s right by the main road, so you do hear traffic and notice the exhaust, which can make it a bit harder to fully relax.

Howzat! A cracker of a hotel!

We stayed in a standard room - King bed for 7 nights while staying in Barbados for the Australia V West Indies test cricket. We loved our accommodation. Our room was on the second floor overlooking one of the pools plus we had beach views. It was modern and clean. The hotel arranged a shuttle for all guests going to and from the cricket each day. This was fabulous! Earl and Dave (our drivers) were both legends. The shuttle cost 20 BBD pp.
I loved that we had an actual laundry - not an expensive laundry service - (but instead a shared washing machine and dryer on our floor) that we could use without payment. We used it several times - there's a clothes rack in the room for drying clothes on your balcony. The kitchenette was well equipped - a decent sized fridge and freezer (which was great for freezing waters for each day at the cricket), toaster, kettle, coffee machine (no instructions for how to work it though) crockery and glassware. The room was spacious, and the balcony was perfect after a long hot day at the cricket. Local buses (we only used the yellow ones) are literally at your doorstep for only $3.50 BBD pp in each direction (no matter where you get off). We caught them regularly to check out Bridgetown, Holetown...A taxi from the airport to the hotel will cost around $70USD from memory - what I loved was the fixed pricing chart at the airport. The hotel has an awesome bar on site and a little store. Although, for groceries just take a local bus to the supermarket.

The property and our stay there exceeded our expectations! All of our needs were expertly met. The beach across the street was almost like a private beach. Getting to Holetown, Speightstown and Bridgetown was so easy by bus as bus stop was just in front of the property.
The staff on property were excellent, friendly and so helpful. Finally, the Sugar Apple restaurant on site provided us with some of our best meals on the Island. Highly recommend!!!

Lovely stay in a Villa at Beach View Barbados. Our property was spacious and clean, perfect for a group of 5 or 6. We used the kitchen and loved spending time on our terrace in the evenings.

The hotels amenities are great, with a nice restaurant/bar, functional gym, three great pools and beach chairs etc to use.

The property is over the road from Paynes Bay and has bus stops close to get further up the East Coast or into Bridgetown. There are a few places in walking distance (Cliff Restaurant and some other local places) but we would recommend a car/bus for further exploring.

The staff and reception were really friendly, polite and helpful. They assisted us with car rental, taxis and a wonderful boat trip.

Great Property

Beach View are lovely apartments. Good location and staff were very helpful. Apartments were spacious and well equipped. However, We ever first based in the classic Paw Paw, we found this apartment dark and had no usable outside space. Staff did their best and move us and we end up in the classic Carambola block which was completely different and although we only spent 2 nights there is made all the difference to our holiday.

We had a lovely stay and I would recommend this hotel. Accommodation worked well for us with a villa which had a kitchen with big fridge, microwave and cooker. Great attentive staff. Pools nice and not crowded. Some restaurants which you can walk to. Would recommend a hire car which reception arranged for us and which was great value and quick and easy. Be aware that the main supermarket in Holetown is eye wateringly expensive! It stocks Waitrose products in plentiful supply but x3 the price!!

Overall we had a great stay while here.
The owner greeted us upon arrival and brought us to our apartment and gave a quick tutorial on important items .
The place was clean and housekeeping throughout our stay was great.
The reception staff was helpful and polite. Restaurant on site was a nice feature and the bartender and staff were great
The owner and his wife had a nice get together for guests at there beautiful house on the cliff for cocktails and hors d'oeuvres, which was very nice and thoughtful of them.
We truly enjoyed our stay.
My only complaint.....we didn't have a Beach View! We were on the ground floor.
Not sure why, place didn't seem packed.
Anyway what are ya gonna do!
We still sat out every morning for our coffee and looked at the beautiful tropical grounds.

A Caribbean home away from home, our one bedroom suite had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including a huge well-equipped kitchen so we could take full advantage of the fresh fish from the market across the road.

Hotel grounds were well designed and looked after, with 3 great pools a paddling pool for children.

Well located on the busy bus route from Bridgetown to Speightstown, and right on Paynes Beach. This part of Barbados has the best beaches and good snorkling, but it is quite residential/access restricted to a few public paths. So whilst there are some local bars/places to eat they are either part of a hotel or need a bit of seeking out. It's not a tourist strip like St Lawrence Gap, which was fine for us but may be a consideration for some.

The suite we stayed in looked older than what was shown on the website and it did show minor signs of wear. Food at the on-site cafe was good and the service was also. It’s not an upscale experience but a solid option on the “Platinum Coast.”

We were delighted with the property. It was so spacious and tastefully decorated. The amenities were in abundance. The cleanliness was excellent. Loved that we had the outdoor space to enjoy too. My two teenage sons thought it was fantastic and enjoyed the space it afforded them.

Our only (slight ) negative was that the menu at the Sugar Cafe was misleading. It was very expensive for what we were given. By the time we had our sitting they had run out of a lot of the ingredients; they were brilliant in that they still made us meals out of what they had, however there was no adjusting the bill and it was very expensive. Added to the fact they charged in USD which was misleading.
If we are lucky enough to return to Barbados we would definitely be returning to Beach View !

5 nights in Barbs. ( sure you can).

We usually stay in full service hotels. Last visit to Barbados was 2022 at The Sandpiper, private beach front hotel. It was great, and so was this stay at Beach View.
Ok, as the name suggests it is not on the beach, but very close.
All beaches on the west coast are suffering from erosion, so it is hard to rate a place based on this.
We have been coming to Barbados for 15 years and see the change. If you really want big Sandy beaches, this is no longer the island.
If you want friendly acceptance of tourists, it still is.
This hotel ticks all the boxes for a base to work from. Really good spec rooms. Great gardens, gate to highway across road from beach, full security, although you don’t feel you need it. Owner is often on site sorting things.
Great Value for Money.
If you want room device and a butler, this is not the one.
If you want quality room / restaurant and three great rooms, opposite the Cliff and QP Bistro, it’s great.
We were very pleased with out 5 night stay

Some disappointing issues were the traffic noise in the villa and the beach while reasonably close was not that big or user friendly.On the good side the hotel had 3 pools which enabled us avoid noisy kids.Disappointing that there were no hire cars available on the island .One really good point was the villa terrace where we could sit and actually see the ocean.

Staff very helpful and friendly. Hotel in a great location and pools/grounds well looked after. Run very professionally and also family owned so lots of really nice and thoughtful touches throughout. Handy to have a little kitchen for making breakfast too! Gym is a bit small and could do with a little bit of a revamp. That said the gym was perfectly useable and it did not negatively impact my holiday.... Also I was the only one in the most of the time. I would recommend the hotel and would definitely return.

I was only staying in Barbados for 1 night and really wished I’d booked for longer.

This hotel has spacious rooms with full kitchen facilities, prior to arrival you can buy a grocery package or beers or wine. There was tea and coffee in the room and even a small jug of fresh milk so that I could enjoy my tea in the morning.

I would definitely recommend booking the hotel transfer prior to arrival, sadly I did not and the line for taxis was long, most of them don’t accept credit cards and it cost the same price as what the hotel were quoting. I ended up having to make a stop at a mall for an ATM.

The hotel is clean, spacious rooms and in lovely grounds, staff very friendly, attentive and extremely helpful. However, there is very limited dining within the hotel. The Sugan Apple Cafe has limited options (same and little choice for breakfast), lunch and dinner although good quality food again limited with choice. Surrounding area has v few restaurants that are good so requires taxis or bus.

Instead of having four pools the hotel could transform some of these into bar/restaurants and keep just one or two pools. This would also liven up the atmosphere. If you are looking for somewhere very quiet and tranquil this is the place.

In summary, lovely hotel, but needs more dining options.

Quality apartments in a spacious and beautifully kept site. Decent quality restaurant and hut for coffee and drinks, close to the largest of the 4 pools. Excellent staff. Significant road noise for four of the sea view buildings, and some exhaust fumes noticeable around the two pools adjacent to the road. Separated from the beach by a very busy road, but beach chairs provided for guests.
Limited number of other bars and restaurants within walking distance. The site would benefit from an early evening bar for guest to mingle but, overall, a very spacious, high quality holiday site, with excellent staff.

Loved my room at Beach View as it had a full size kitchen, living room, and patio with pool view AND great air conditioning units. Service staff were amazing. Lots of eating places within walking distance that were priced better (and tastier) than hotel restaurant. Only suggestion - hotel needs to upgrade it's air conditioning unit in the exercise room (gym) as it did not work effectively. Plenty of exercise options outside however challenging to workout outside due to heat and humidity.

We stayed in a 3 bed suite and it was beautiful. Rooms were a good size and clean, air conditioning worked perfectly, towels, beach bags, toiletries, bagels in the fridge, coffee and water were complimentary. The back door led to a pool with many other pools, spa and gym on the property.

Staff were polite and helped booking taxis.

Beach is across the street which was convenient. Hotel is close to some restaurants in the upscale part of the city.

The only thing that was a bit of inconvenience was house keeping, reception and restaurant closed early so you had to get everything you needed. Small convenience store shut at 3pm.

Overall, a fantastic stay.

The hotel is located across the main road from the beach and not on the beach.

It is located a few minutes drive from Lime grove shopping center, The Cliff, along with other stores and restaurants.

A few notes thou are they mixed up my bill and billed me for someone else’s amenities package, hence as always check your bill before checkout.

The night gate keeper was rude, when we checked in we had to enter the exit and go out through the exit. On our return that night after dinner, I drove to the exit and the guard even thou he heard my reason for doing so was rude in his reply.

Overall I would recommend this hotel as a nice place to stay. David, Haylee and Mr. Walcott along with the restaurant staff were excellent.

This is not a hotel. It is apartments with very limited hotel services. Reception is only open 8 to 8pm (unheard of for a 4 star) “service” of meals is in paper carry out not with normal dishware (I am not interested in having dishware and silverware in the room, bc I was expecting a hotel not an apartment). Nothing decent is reachable without a car. Prices of restaurants around the facility are US level but service is generally poor (except Fairmont and Sandy Lane). But most importantly charging up to 450 US a night is absolutely uncalled for, even if clearly most patrons pay that price bc it’s sunny and the closest Caribbean location from the UK

Excellent, modern, well equipped apartment. Very helpful and friendly staff. Excellent showers. Fantastic grounds with swimming pools and ample sun loungers. Very good cafe serving tasty meals. Outstanding beach across the road

Very welcoming, we arrived very early after disembarking a cruise ship and our room was ready. On leaving we had an evening flight and without asking the lovely reception girls asked us if we would like a later check out.
Very professional and quality service.

Beautiful Barbados

A great stay at Beachview, great location with the beach on your doorstep, a short trip using local buses into Holetown and easy access for Bridgetown about 5 miles away. We were greeted by the owner - a lovely touch.

We will definitely return to this hotel again
