My wife and I rented a two-bedroom apartment at Adulo for our visit to Barbados. The unit was a little rough around the edges, but once we'd sorted out a few things and settled in we really enjoyed our stay. The staff were pleasant and helpful, the overall property was charming, and we were within easy walking distance of amenities including beaches, restaurants and grocery stores.

All visitors of Barbados are required to quarantine. I chose Adulo to quarantine overnight. The staff were friendly; i even had assistance moving about my heavy luggage. The room was nice and clean and there was an informational sheet with all kinds of relevant information. I would stay here again.

Our situation was unique as we were quarantined here for a week waiting test results. The experience was difficult, but no fault of Adulo Apartments and the staff was friendly and accommodating. I wouldn’t recommend traveling to Barbados during a pandemic. They are not equipped to handle the testing at all.

Good apartments but a bit noisy from main street
My furnished one-bedroom apartment was clean and comfortable. Cleaning is done twice-a-week, but Reception said that if anything is needed (like more towels), then those can be provided upon request. Location is a bit away (but walking distance) from restaurants, so be careful while walking, because side-walks are rare and (for those used to right-side driving) here it is the opposite (similar to the UK).

I must say the staff is just amazing and accomodating It is a very modest property so dont expect anything fancy but it has all the essentials. It had all the utensils for cooking. I quickly became accustomed to the small place and felt like it was my own little studio. My only complaint was not having extra sheets as the room is a bit humid and it feels cooler at night. However, im sure if we asked for extra sheets we would've gotten it. Also, it was nice that we were able to use one of their empty rooms after we checked out because we had an afternoon flight. I would definitely recommend this place and come back without a doubt. If you want relaxation and simplicity, then this is the place. Thank you Adulo!

The property is very secure, anyone who wants to visit you has to give their name at the front desk, then the person there calls you to ask if you want to admit him / her. The rooms are cleaned twice weekly and the bed sheets changed, and fresh towels supplied.The person in charge and the House Keeping workers are very polite, if you need anything within reason, they are only too willing to get it for you.

The Adulo Apartments were exactly what we were looking for - affordable, in a great location and with all the necessary appliances (fridge, cooker and air con). The apartment was easy to find; KFC was a sign post when out exploring. Buses run along the main road too, so you can get to most of the South Coast. There’s also a car rental place basically next door and I recommend hiring for at least one day so you can see the rest of the island. The friendly receptionists can also help with directions, taxis, restaurants etc. Would 100% recommend and return. P.s the garden is very handy if you can’t face the beach - it’s got sun loungers, trees for shade if needed, and a bbq.

We arrived very late, i.e. after midnight, and the security person probably had to get Jackie out of bed because she was on duty the next morning, but she was extremely pleasant and efficient, and she even called us after she went back downstairs to make sure everything was OK. The flat is perfect, even has a nice balcony overlooking the street. For two weary travellers whose original hotel had been overbooked, hence our late booking, it was perfect!

Was very happy with the spacious 2 bedroom apartment which was well furnished and had everything you needed in the kitchen. It is in a peaceful location just a few minutes walk from the main road with a nice garden area to sit and enjoy the sun, with shaded areas also. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The only negatives for me were no safe in the apartment and no air conditioning in the living area.
