The Rockley has been reimagined as an experiential, urban hotel bursting with personality that seeks to connect our guests as intimately as we can with the community around us and to showcase and celebrate all that makes Barbados and this part of the island so special – it’s people, food, art, music and culture; not forgetting the amazing beach that is located directly across from the hotel. The hotel interiors include a collection of local art, iconic Bajan items like the Bus Stop Sign, playful Bajan sayings and thoughtful locally crafted amenities, all designed to give the Rockley a real sense of place.
In this new iteration The Rockley’s reception, restaurant, pool deck and public spaces have all been upgraded and repurposed adding an “art for the people” gallery, an outdoor covered bar area with a Beach Club vibe, a funky air-conditioned interior dining area perfect for grabbing a quick snack or coffee and a fully equipped fitness room, play space and guest hospitality suite. The Rockley breaks from the traditional, self-catering, accommodation and provides a fun, playful, stylish, and hip hotel where you will feel welcome, entertained and at home!

Nice hotel and decent location. Room was clean and decent space. Front desk staff excellent. Staff in breakfast area were amazing 2 mornings and one morning it seemed like they didn’t want to be there. If staying over a weekend be prepared for load music until after midnight.. great if you are going to the party but not so much if trying to sleep. Overall enjoyable stay.

This hotel provided outstanding customer service. Troy and all employees were fantastic. Everything was located at the hotel and within walking distance. We were greeted with a cold towel and rum punch. Happy Hour was fantastic. The beach was wonderful. There are plenty of food options located at the hotel and within walking distance. We prepaid for our activities and if we needed to get around the island, we used the app Pickup Barbados. The room was great and the breakfast was good. We will return and we will stay at this hotel again. I highly recommend this hotel.

The staff, the staff, the staff! They are all welcoming and make sure that you are satisfied. I didn’t mind crossing the street to get to the beach and a small strip mall is right next door. The food is amazing (Hi, Krystal!) and the drinks kept me returning to the bar for another ginger and tamarin elixir. Yum. The rooms are in very good condition and my balcony was right above the pool. Loved the Bajan sayings on all of the pillows and dispensers.

I had a night flight but checked out, used the facility and was offered a complimentary bathroom to freshen up before my flight. The only downfall was the weak and unstable wifi signal especially by the pool area.

This was my first trip to Barbados. I selected this hotel specifically for the design, decor and aesthetics.... and yes the hotel is as beautiful and vybesy as pictured. Like you walk up the stairs or pull your suitcase up the ramp and you enter this vibrant place of paradise. Friendly staff greeted me daily and at the time of check in I was greeted with a cold towel ( Barbados is hot af) and a welcome drink. Shonta, Olivia, Zachary, John and Lydia were a few of the memorable staff on my stay but collectively everyone worked well as a team ensuring that they delivered top notch customer service.

We had a fantastic time at The Rockley! The room was very comfortable and clean with strong AC (very necessary), and welcome drinks and cold towels provided on arrival. The drinks and pool area were great, and the hotel had fun events planned every night. The beach is just across the street, and towels, chairs, and umbrellas are provided. The beach was lovely, and there were plenty of walkable dining options as well. We felt very safe in this area. Our only complaint would be a faint smell of mildew in the room, but I think that's to be expected in beach conditions. Would definitely recommend!

The property is a newly renovated, unique hotel, eclectic in its style but still very true to its Bajan location. All about the hotel, including the throw cushions you learn about the slangs and expressions true to the Barbadian culture. The rooms are spacious, colourful and clean. The service is really good. The breakfast is simple but effective, some diversity would be appreciated. A challenge of mine was parking; the hotel has 4 parking spots to the front of the building that are usually full so off loading luggage is difficult. Parking is available across the road, but it’s poorly lit at night, some what scary for ladies who wish to venture out at night. Another curious thing was no visitors after 10.30pm, I think this should be listed on Expedia before booking. I did experience a few small roaches in my room, I informed front desk upon leaving, I trust they will sort it out. The good with the bad, I would give this hotel a 7.5 out of 10. I would stay there again.

My friend and I stayed at the Rockley Hotel for one night and It was an amazing experience. Upon entry, you are greeted by the polite concierge who ensured that we have everything we needed for our stay such as a day passes to the nearby beach, access to amenities, and a welcome cocktail. The hotel is very artsy and has a modern feel. The room was very clean, stocked and had an amazing waterfront view. In addition to closeness to the beach, there are a number of restaurants, bars, and shopping stores walking distance of the hotel. The airport is also 15-20mins away. The staff was exceptionally accommodating when our flight got delayed for a few hours, allowing us to have access to all amenities as we wait for departure. 10/10 would recommend.

Great hotel!! Every single staff member is very friendly (from the maintenance staff to the hotel manager). I can really tell that they will go above and beyond for you and your needs. The location is fantastic. Walkable to many restaurants and taxis pass by the hotel every 30 seconds (seriously). The rooms are clean and spacious and comes will a full kitchen (so it was nice to keep our drinks cold or frozen when the weather was scorching hot). The breakfast included was better than I thought! The quality is good but the variety could be better. Think continental breakfast with a Bajan twist. Don’t sleep on their local hot sauce!

I enjoyed my stay at The Rockley hotel. It was a convenient stay. From the beach right across the street to the hotel pool area. The reservations come with breakfast, lunch is provided but you’ll have to pay and dinner you can find in any of the local food areas around. -there’s also happy hour during certain times of the day which is always nice.
The plaza next door has alittle of everything you need gift shop, electronic, ice cream (make sure you have cash), coffee shop, and a few other shops.
Recommend taking out Barbadian cash, some places require it and just calculate just incase how much you’ll need, it’s double our money so you end up spending less in actual Dollar$.
I would say the hotel does need alittle self care if you’re looking at the little nooks and cranny but from afar the colors, decor are beautiful and very picturesque. They have a lot of seating areas which are pretty cool. I would recommend staying here and would love to come back to Barbados.

A lovely hotel, however there are a few matters to mention. There are only a few sun loungers in the pool/garden area and as usual guests are up early to reserve them by placing towels etc on them. We only stayed a couple of nights and dispite previous comments we found the breakfast quite adequate. Unfortunately and for whatever reason they do not provide and evening meal. There are not many restaurants in walking distance of the hotel. But the main point is that the hotel is on extremely busy and noisy road. The sound of car horns and motor bikes was constant and almost ruined the stay at the hotel. Please bear this in mind if considering book this hotel. Yes, you can close the balcony door but fresh air is far better than air conditioning in the room but of course it's a question of choice.

Our stay was perfect. The staff are some of the best we’ve ever come across, they truly go above and beyond for the guests. The hotel is right across from the beach and having the option for chairs and umbrellas was fantastic. Our 2 year old loved the pool and it was never too busy at the pool which was great. Shondai was amazing as well as the Manager Sherrita! We had an uncomfortable mattress and they were on it by swapping out our mattress and also going above and beyond and making a futon bed up to just in case to ensure we got a good night's sleep. The front desk kept saying that the wine was not delivered by the supplier and I had to leave the room promptly at checkout because it was already assigned to someone else. Our stay was perfect. It was convenient regarding the surroundings as we were able to walk to restaurants and convenience stores easily. Getting a taxi was not a challenge either as the hotel would call for one and within minutes it was waiting outside for you. Another aspect is that each floor of the hotel has washers and dryers so you can wash your items and dry them before leaving the property. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The only thing which bothered us was the airport taxi which we asked for at the reception. The taxi showed up late and the driver wasn’t interested in helping us to load our suitcases at all. Just a minute after we left, my husband noticed that he forgot something in the hotel. The driver told us he was behind schedule and couldn’t turn around. Instead, he would pick it up and deliver it to us at the airport, since he had been assigned to another airport transfer at the hotel right after dropping us off. There was enough time to do so. So we paid him extra for the trouble and waited for him outside the airport for 1.5 hours before going through the security. He never came back. As we think through the whole process and conversation, he probably just didn’t want to bother, as it was just a small thing, but we don’t know.
