We had a wonderful stay at Blue Haven. We were greeted by lovely staff, who were very helpful throughout our stay. The room was perfect - very clean, comfy bed, very well-equipped kitchenette, and a balcony over the garden area (especially lovely in the evening).
The hotel was a 90second walk to the beach and the start of the strip of restaurants, bars and couple of shops. To get the bus into the other towns, it’s an easy 5minute walk to the bus stop on the main road and it’s just 3.50 Barbados Dollar per person.
We decided to hire a car for a couple of days and made use of the car park on site which we had no problem finding a space in.
Overall very happy with the accommodation, staff & location and found this very good value for money.

My room was super clean, nice big TV, newer model shower, nice patio with private entrance didnt have to go through reception area. Steps from Dover beach if you want a sea bath, food and entertainment. Walking distance to St. Lawrence gap where there is lots of entertainment, live bands at The Dive, and food. Public transportation is close by to take you to oistins and Bridgetown. Parking is available if you have a rental. I would stay here again and recommend this place. Quiet and peaceful.

Check in was great, but it’s been so loud ever since with people talking, yelling and slamming doors. I called, but no one is at the desk. The neighborhood is loud too. I’m in the room right above the office for some reason so not happy with my choice of Hotel.

I spent 5 days at Blue Haven and really enjoyed the location — it’s close to Oistins, several beaches, and St. Lawrence Gap. I’d definitely recommend renting a car, as it made exploring the island much easier.

I stayed in the Superior Studio with a balcony overlooking the courtyard, and it was perfect for my needs. The property is in a quiet neighborhood with a cricket field across the street, so I had plenty of peaceful moments. There’s also a beach and restaurants nearby if you’re not in the mood to cook.

The staff was warm and welcoming, and overall I’d happily return for another stay.

I had a fantastic experience staying at Blue Haven Holiday Apartments in Barbados! The rooms were spotless, well-kept, and very comfortable – exactly what you want when you're away from home. The staff were absolutely amazing: friendly, helpful, and always ready with a smile, which made the stay even more enjoyable.
One of the best parts was the location – there were plenty of great places to eat within walking distance, so finding a good meal was never a problem. I also had a rental car, and parking was easy and hassle-free, which was a huge plus.
All in all, Blue Haven was the perfect home base for exploring Barbados. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, convenient, and welcoming place to stay!

Perfect location . Can’t imagine better on the island . So close to the bus, amazing selection of restaurants , two nice beaches . All within a few minutes walk . Also walking distance ( or a short bus) to Oistins , Miami Beach , pebbles beach ,the capital , etc

The apartment was perfect . Couldn’t have asked for nicer . No complaints whatsoever .

The hotel was nice and looked recently updated. Staff was so friendly and helpful. Cons- beds are so hard my back would hurt when I would wake up. Dover beach by the hotel is not very nice. When we were checking out and gathering our items we found an acrylic nail on the floor that belonged to a previous guest.

We loved our stay here. Check-in was a breeze and the staff were all fantastic. The room was very clean, the king size bed was suoer comfortable and the accommodations provided us for what we needed. We were able to cook meals there and eat outside on our balcony. We were also provided with tokens and laundry detergent so that we could do two loads of laundry on site. This location was a very close walk to the beach.
The room rate was inexpensive for the week.The location is close to the Gap. I would book another stay here. The only thing that I would change are the pillows but I like very firm pillows. Thank you to all the staff for making our holiday so wonderful

Unfortunately my stay was ruined by staff who banged on my door when I was asleep and threatened to the call the police because I had not paid full amount for my stay upon arrival as they did not accept credit card. They could be more trustworthy and considerate. Everything else was fine apart from that.

The room was as described, very clean, had AC and both bathroom and kitchenette had the necessary amenities. The staff were very friendly. The building is a short walking distance to Dover beach where there are lounge chairs and umbrellas for day-rent. There are several restaurants that are all around a 15 min walk with nightlife. Overall a great place to stay in Barbados.

We Love the Blue Haven apartment hotel

We stayed here again this year because we liked it last year - it really is a lovely little haven away from the bustle of the front on Dover beach - there’s still a little bit of music noise at the weekends, but much less than down at the beach, even though it’s only a 3 or 4 minute walk away, so it’s the Best of both worlds. Decor is light & airy & relaxing; the bed is very comfy, lots of wardrobe & drawers space- The kitchen facilities are great. Full size fridge and freezer combo, 4 ring cooker, microwave, toaster, kettle etc & plenty crockery glasses utensils etc. the king suites feel nice & airy and spacious - ours had a nice balcony with a (sideways) sea view, and looking over the cricket pitch across the road. The only slightly annoying thing is the cockerels sometimes crowing a bit long, but that is all over Barbados so not against the Blue Haven at all - it’s a great place to stay

We enjoyed being so close to the beach and to restaurants. Property is well maintained and rooms are clean and well kept. Staff are very polite. We like that the property supplied beach towels as well.
We found out from a server at the Tropical Mist that their hotel is \"sisters\" with Blue Haven and that we could have come over to use the pool etc.... We found that out at the end of our trip and would have been nice to know sooner.

My wife and I stayed for 2 full weeks in tight space studio apartment. Everything was new in little kitchenette. They used wide angle lens so it appeared larger in the picture. It had enough storage space and AC was powerful and quiet. Patio was nice for coffee in the morning with hummingbirds and finch playing in their lush garden. Short walk to the beach and neighborhood restaurants. We felt very safe walking through the neighborhood and driving around everywhere in Barbados. We would have rated this place excellent BUT there was shortage of towel availability. They only clean the rooms every 4 days but they said we can ask fresh towels anytime. However, every time we asked for towels, there’s none available! We can reuse towels but not for four days! It took 3 days at one point until some towels came but no face cloths. They need new and more inventory of towels. Most of them showed age especially beach towels. I must mention that staff were wonderful. Carlisle and Rockley beach were our favorites but not Miami Beach. We ate fish the entire time we were in Barbados from Flying fish, Baracuda, Mahi Mahi and Marlin. Buy coconut water from the guys on the roundabout. Overall, we enjoyed our time at Blue Haven and all of Barbados. Thank you.

A very nice place enough room around the king bed and the kitchenette area. Bathroom has all the necessities. But the bed is unbelievably hard. It’s a very firm mattress on a board base no springs. We both had Doré backs and hips in the morning. Otherwise a lovely place.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Blue Haven. The apartment was well equipped with everything you could need and then some. It was clean, comfortable and we would definitely stay here again! The location is perfect - a short walk to the beach (across the street) as well as walking distance to the main strip (St. Lawrence Gap). I also liked that it wasn’t directly on the strip, as provided a little more privacy. They also provided two taxi drivers for you to contact, one of which we used a few times. This was such a nice touch because finding a reliable taxi person on the island can be tricky. Overall an enjoyable stay, you’ll definitely see us again Blue Haven!
