When we arrived we were greeted by Nikki who was extremely friendly and helpful. She upgraded us to an oceanfront room which was spacious and very nice.
I thought I had booked a non all-inclusive rate however we had drinks and food included. There is a lovely beach across the street accessible by a very short walk and chairs and umbrellas were provided. The food was generally good and plentiful ( buffet style). There was some musical entertainment.
My only suggestion would be a soap dispenser in the bathroom as well as the separate toilet, some more towels and the blackout curtains didn’t stretch across the windows. The bed was large and comfortable and the A/c and fan worked well.
The local village, Oistins wasn’t really worth visiting, but the hotel is located in a safe residential area. It was perfect for a short stay and close to the airport.

Luckily we were only there for two nights before a cruise but the hotel was disappointing and not worth the price we paid. The pool was shut all day and there were no pool towels until late morning. The food was uninspiring and there was very little choice. Although there were bottles of branded spirits on the bar shelves the drinks were served out of unbranded bottles and the often ran out. The rooms were very generous in size but starting to look a bit tired. The tv which should have been wall mounted was propped up on the dressing table. This could be a lovely little boutique hotel but it needs some work to get there. Staff were generally very helpful.

Reception staff friendly and welcoming, clean large room, well appointed. Good location just over the road from a beach.
Only negative would be the canteen style restaurant. Not really any Caribbean atmosphere. It would be great to use the lower level of the pool area and the seating area over the road for eating. The restaurant could be in a shopping centre!

The clean room, multiple ways to control temperature, food, and hospitality of the staff were top-notch. And no screaming children in the pool. There were a lot of older/elder Europeans who were living their best lives, though. Really appreciated private hot access and our view of the sunset. Will definitely stay here again. It is a newer hotel but do not expect American luxury boutique hotel decor.

We had a very disappointing stay at Abidah. We were there for 9 days and for 7 of those days the elevator was out of order. We had to walk up 4 flights of stairs every time we came and went. We were actually stuck in the elevator one time and had to pry the doors open. The breakfast buffet was the same every day except they changed the pork sausage to chicken sausage. The (powdered ?) scrambled eggs were the same everyday. If you don't get there early, the food is cold. Dinner meals were themed, but the same for the 2nd week. Most of the staff was lazy and inattentive, especially the wait and bar staff. TV channels were very limited. No hand soap in the main bathroom in the room. Room was spacious, though, with a nice view of the ocean. No counter space in the bathroom because there were 2 sinks. Liquor and wine selection was very poor; unknown brands of liquor and only 4 kinds of wine. Pool shower was not fixed until 6 ays after we got there. Would not recommend this \"high-end, all-inclusive\" hotel, especially for the price we paid.

The hotel needs major renovations. We had a five days/ four nights stay and their elevator broke down on the second day, so we had to go up and down 4,6 or 8 flights of stairs to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner when we weren’t doing excursions. They didn’t have any activities except for Karaoke once.
BUT their staff was amazing, hospitable and friendly. I wouldn’t recommend though. The 2 star was basically for the staff, I’m sorry to say.

Firstly, the staff were excellent—very helpful, accommodating, and attentive throughout our stay. However, given the price per night, the hotel needs to significantly improve its physical maintenance.

The television was no longer mounted on the wall and instead placed on a stand, leaving exposed unsightly electrical wiring. We were told this was due to new televisions being installed that no longer fit the existing frames. This raises concerns about decision-making and planning, as replacements should be compatible with the spaces provided. It make the room look untidy and not a pleasant place to stay.

Additionally, the soap holder had broken off the wall and was placed on the sink, not sure why this can’t be fixed. The hot tub cannot be filled independently and requires staff assistance, which was inconvenient. Mosquitoes in the lobby were also a constant issue.

There were no vegetarian options available on the dinner menu, only fish and meat, the Chef was able to provide pasta and chick peas as an alternative on one night. There was not lentil peas stew, kidney pea stew etc, there were mushrooms and baked beans available for breakfast.

Overall, we made the best of our stay, but the investors and owners should give serious consideration to improving the maintenance and upkeep of the physical property to better align with the price point and guest expectations

It was a beautiful view from the balcony. The room size was nice. There were a few items that need repair, but overall good. Staff was pleasant, but not as inviting and friendly as others on the island. They were able to address all of my needs. Shuttle service to sister property is nice, but you'll need to stay all day or find transport back. Food was decent. There was usually one item that was really good. Drinks were good, but not strong. The beach is down the street a bit vs walk out. A ten minute walk will get you to the main road to the bus, convenience stores, restaurants. Oistin Fish Fry is a few minutes more, but stilll walkable. Ask the front desk instead of Google Maps. Places are closer than they seem. The pool is nice as well. The gym had a few cardio machines, dumbbells and weight machines. Enough to get in a sufficient workout, but a smaller space. Not much activity at the hotel, but there was Karaoke Saturday night. I stayed Thursday - Monday.

The location of the hotel was good. Not far from airport, beach or Oistins at all. The jacuzzi on the balcony was a nice touch the room. The rooms were ok. Room service could have been a tad bit better. I wish the pool was larger or at least had another pool in the hotel. Our favorite parts of the hotel was the food. 10/10 food specifically the breakfast and lunch. All the staff were very polite and nice to us. We enjoyed our stay!

The staff were friendly and professional- especially Marissa who always remembered our preferred drinks.
The food was exceptional and the room was spacious and spotless.
For the first 3 days we had to have our air conditioning reset several times per day and although the staff were quick to do so, this was not ideal.
On the 4th day, after speaking with the manager in the morning, a technician was brought in and the AC worked properly for the remainder of our stay.
On the 5th day, when we came back to our room in the evening, we found a hand written note from the hotel apologizing for our inconvenience and a bottle of wine chilling in the fridge! - a classy gesture on their part.
You can tell a lot about a place from the way they respond to problems. We would stay here again.

This was a beautiful space for us to relax in! The staff was helpful, friendly, and great with suggestions. The space is both modern and relaxed, clean, and generally well-kept. Beach view from the balcony was a favorite for reading and quick calls during the week. We saw a couple of monkeys on the roof next door one morning. The pool is small and shallow, but useable. There is a workout room as well.

The lovely public beach nearby has both a more relaxed and surf side, with bathroom and shower amenities onsite. Keep an eye out for the turtles that swim near the guard tower on the bayside! We were out daily to enjoy the sea, and the community vibe.

Food at Remous is mostly good to excellent, but the desserts were a bit sketchy. Service was fabulous, and bar service was a delight!

This area isn’t very trendy/busy, but it’s a quick walk to Oistins, and easy to grab a bus or taxi. The sister resort, Accra, is more centrally located, so just grab the shuttle there to shop, if desired.

Absolutely enjoyed our stay, and would book here again!

Very first day, they were no face towels, looking out the sliding glass door was an eye sore , I thought we were making a reservation on a resort we were so wrong. The third night there was a big cockroach running across the floor. We were also told that they didn’t supply face towels. The beach was dirty and lots of seaweed. We like Barbados, but we won’t go back to the hotel again and it only had one restaurant.

The Abidah by Accra was the perfect escape for our honeymoon—elegant, serene, and tailored for romance. The adults-only vibe made it feel extra special, and the staff truly went above and beyond to make us feel celebrated. The rooms were immaculate with beautiful views, and we loved the poolside atmosphere and cocktails.

Our only real disappointment, which wasn’t the hotel’s fault, was the seaweed along the beach during our visit. Unfortunately, it limited our time in the ocean. That said, the hotel itself was spotless and well-maintained, and we still enjoyed the beautiful coastal views.

We’d definitely recommend The Abidah for couples looking for a peaceful, romantic getaway—with the note to check sea conditions depending on the season.

This resort is close to the beach. It is all inclusive but very quiet. The rum punch is really good so it adds value to the all inclusive option. It isn't a turn up spot at all. The people are amazing staff is great. The only downside to my review which I would have rated it 5 stars but it's 4. There was a leak on the 1st floor when i first arrived and that leak stayed the entire time. The carpet was wet and it looked crazy as the pipes were showing. But overrall it's an excellent property. Very close to Ostin's fish fry on Fridays. Everyone is very friendly. I would definitely return back. Miami beach is steps away from the resort! Best part is there are no kids running around. You can take the shuttle to the sister resort to visit the beach. I miss it already!

The pictures of this property are very outdated and not at all the current condition of the property. First… Truly enjoyed staying at this property. Read the reviews and know this isn’t a 5-star property. We did love the staff we made relationships with, enjoyed the food a lot, and loved the location. Our room (grand oceanfront) was also lovely! At checkin, we were told the ac unit wasn’t working + the jacuzzi. We were disappointed and were told we would receive a 10% refund - even signed a form. The ac wasn’t working upon arriving to the room but then later was working. The jacuzzi never worked. Checkout day, I asked about the refund for the units not working and they said it’s easy, just call Expedia. Since the trip, I’ve spent numerous hours on the phone with the property + Expedia. When Expedia and the resort finally connected on the phone together, the resort told Expedia they couldn’t find my reservation. When I talked to the resort, they promised every time it would happen any day. We stayed a week in late March/early April. Still haven’t received any refund even after the property states I should get a 10% refund. So as much as I loved the trip and most of the experiences at the resort, I would not stay here again nor recommend it due to the lack of poor customer service.

Portable A/C in room that is insufficient.

It's a beautiful room, as shown in the brochure. However, the central air conditioning does not work, and a portable unit is installed through a slider. It's not nearly enough to keep the room cool. The temporary solution looks permanent. The manager said they would get back to me with compensation. I have never heard from them. The website should let guests know what they are getting.

Upon arrival I thought the hotel was pretty appealing. Everyone was friendly and ready to assist us with check in. We were offered drinks and were assigned rooms pretty quickly. The rooms were a nice size, with a king sized bed, and there was a ceiling fan in there also. The toilet is in a separate room from the shower. The shower is a little tricky to operate, you have to pull that top handle pretty hard to get the water to flow. The jacuzzi was clean and hot. The food was delicious, we had breakfast, lunch, midday snack and dinner. All the meals were hot, tasty, fresh, and the dinners were plated beautifully. The staff was pretty accommodating with any request or concerns. There was one waitress that was pretty stern and was not very friendly in her responses to our request. Other than that all of the staff is awesome. We were there for Mother’s day and the hotel had a beautiful luncheon with decorations and a small gift for the mothers, they also had entertainment for us on Saturday night. It was really nice.
You can walk to the beach, you can walk to the fish fry, there are tables, across from the hotel that is reserved for the guest to sit and watch the ocean. It is super easy to get transportation to anywhere you want to go. The manager helped us to get a special private tour arranged at the last minuet, it was great. The hotel has a type of open air concept so the hallways and dining room all allow fresh air to flow from the outside.

The hotel was in a convenient location for me, across the road from the sea, parking and close to local transport too. My hotel room was absolutely huge - I loved it. The hotel is very well presented and clean, but they just need to keep on top of some general maintenance eg broken wardrobe door handle, wobbly soap dish and a replacement safe not being bolted down. I would definitely recommend this hotel and stay there again.

The pool was clean, the beach was across the street and staff readily go back and forth to accommodate you. It was a great experience and I will be returning!

Upon arrival, I was given a letter to advise room air conditioning was not working. The letter stated a refund would be made. The food was not desirable. All inclusive hotel with limited food choice and can only eat at time scheduled. If you miss it, too bad. Nothing for you to eat. No room services. I have yet to get refund I was promised in writing.

Hotel is very limited ands AC was not working and we requested change of rom with the same category we booked they said they didn’t have and they offered 10% credit if they are to change us to a different category room. We had to make another booking to a different resort to enjoy our vacation.

Cleaninesz was not up to part the rugs in hallways are dirty and destroyed. Room attendant doesn't clean the floors when they service the rooms. But overall hotel experience wise was great.

Rooms were spacious. No problens with a/c or with getting a beach or pool chair. Wait staff and bar tenders were all very attentive. Chef made sure to accommodate my vegetarian diet.
