Very expensive for what it is! Really not worth the price. They make u think u can use all the amenities offered by the hotels but there are a lot of rules and red tapes (ex: the lounge can only be use if u are on floors 9-10 etc) so read carefully.

For example, there was limited supply of bath towels.
Pool and beach towels had run out each of the days we needed them.
Exercise bike in the gym wasn’t working.

We complained about this nothing happened..Positive the Air conditioning worked! No television at first we complained and the television cable was “turned on” at front desk…The resort looked well taken care of but after being in Barbados twice before I know there is better there ..The price of the hotel is very inexpensive ,but sleep quality is poor..

The staff is wonderful, Sonita and Tisha at the front desk, the day Manager, and Barbara who kept our room nice and clean.

This is a property that sits on a lovely beach. Old fashioned but clean. On arrival we were told that there was a maintenance issue with our room and would have to stay at Worthing Court for 2 nights. We were not happy at all as we booked a beachfront location.
We had to move to the sister property of Blue Orchid. Whilst this property is very similar to coral Mist, the rooms are not beachfront but ocean view.
I would be very apprehensive about booking this property in future as many guests that book Coral Mist actually get put in Blue orchid.

Location, location, location! Good beach, walking distance to several restaurants, bars, shopping. The bus service is right outside the door. The staff is friendly and welcoming.
Some repairs need to be done after the last hurricane and the staff is actively trying to get everything in working order.

Right on the beach! The rooms were in fair shape, had balconies and the rest was just OK. The air conditioning was very good until it started raining and the waterfall of water came down on the table under it. Lucky for us we were in the room and were able to save our electronic devises. We nad a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom ocean front room booked, but were originally given not an ocean front, but a 2 bedroom 1 bath garden view. After I went back to reception and mentioned it we were just given another 1 bedroom room next to the first room. It was ok because we were only there for 1 night. The service and staff were very friendly. The restaurant had Ok food but the service was slow and the waitress never smiled once. The coffee came after we were finished with breakfast and asked if the coffee was ready yet.. The best part of the place was the beach. Parking was great too bc we had a car. The kitchen was small and had a sponge for dishes but no soap:)

Beautiful Views at Coral Mist & Blue Orchid Hotels

Had booked a year in advance at Coral Mist but upon arrival they did not have our reservation correct and had to give us a room at the sister property Blue Orchid. We were very surprised since you had booked it one year in advance and had explicitly chosen Coral Mist over the Blue Orchid property. They were very accommodating however and gave us a very nice room at Blue Orchid. The staff was very friendly and there were always loungers for the beach and our room was cleaned very well. The views are beautiful and the sound of the waves was wonderful. The kitchenette was lovely and very well equipped and handy. We would definitely stay there again and would actually hope to get the same room that we were given in error. Very nice hotel!

This property could do with upgrading . Hotels in Barbados are expensive and this location on beach was excellent - it’s a wee walk into St Lawrence Gap ( or grab a taxi or reggae bus) if I had longer I would have explored the area more ( we only stayed 2nights ) . It just felt tired and for just over £200 a night I wished we had gone straight to our cruise ship but wanted to do 2 days beforehand - I will not do that again . In saying that it was hard to find anything for this price in Barbados when I was looking so maybe that’s just the way it is in Barbados . We had an excellent breakfast in the restaurant area which overlooked the beach and the price wasn’t too bad .

Not one I’d revisit.

A lot of road noise made it hard to sleep without ear plugs. Hotel is in disrepair and the beach has a lot or erosion. The breakfast was good and the water pressure in the shower was good. I checker out early and booked another hotel. Could barely do one night there.

We had a great stay at Coral Mist and would honestly book there again! The beautiful beach and the warm ocean breezes lulled us to sleep at night!! Huge thanks to Barbara and staff in housekeeping they fixed all that went wrong on this trip!! When the foot fell off one of our beds they were accommodating to place us in another room for the night...but simple maintenance of the furniture would have alerted them to the issue before it became one. The smell coming from the bathroom sink due to mold in the drain was another. Rust on the stove and non stick pans that were rubbed raw of the non-stick coating was another. Upgrades to the finishes of the rooms and better maintenance would move this hotel from a three star to five!!

The word excellent is not enough to describe my stay, it was delightful, now pair it with the cool runnings cruise and see your return to work worries melt away completely. It was short solo trip that I almost cancelled due to being \"busy\" but I pushed through and made it! Guess what? I returned home a new person. I won't forget the amazing conversations with all of the staff and the unmatched hospitality. I enjoyed real food, take a walk to the food court. Its only a month since my stay and will definitely be back!

Right on the beach - who could ask for more? We've been traveling the Caribbean for over 40 years and Barbados is our favourite, especially this hotel which is not a 5 star but it is well located, easily walkable to groceries, restaurants, etc. and it is well maintained, as well as meticulously cleaned by Sharon every day! The waves were a little rough but we braved them nonetheless. Plus we love the kitchenette so we could eat breakfast and lunch on our balcony overlooking the beach, talking to the cheeky birds and then go out for dinner. A tip is to close your bathroom door at night since the traffic sound can be loud but closing the door did the trick! We will be back -- this was our second time here.

They save money in stupid things

The hotel is nice the beach is also good what is terrible is that after I paid 1791 us dollar for the place for a week they said I had to pay for the sugar and the salt of the kitchen. They also didn't change the soap and didn't provide shampoo, i have never seen such a stingy attitude before.

Coral Mist Beach Hotel is conveniently located in Worthing. Grocery store only a 5 minute walk away, a variety of great eating areas (make sure to go to Worthing Food Court) are all within walking distance. Hotel is basic but had everything that we needed. Was nice having a full size fridge available and an ice cube maker. On site restaurant was ok for breakfast (eggs, waffles, oatmeal available to order) I would stay again.

It's an older property with a cozy, homey ambiance. It's location directly on a beautiful stretch of beach with powdery white sand and crystal clear waters is one of its best features. There are many restaurants, bars, supermarket and other beaches all within walking distance.

For us it was a perfect hotel location. We didn't want to stay in the more lively St. Lawrence Gap (nothing against it, we just wanted a quieter time), so we liked being close to both Worthing and Hasting (and all shops / facilities etc) but also to St. L Gap, if you wanted the night life etc. The hotel is on Rockley Beach (direct access) and was, for us, simply perfect. The hotel was well maintained if not just a little tired, but we loved it as it was very clean and the staff (all, not just reception, but including chambermaids, maintenance etc) were simply fantastic. They were friendly, attentive, suggestive (holiday trips etc) basically helpful in every way and nothing was a problem for them (eg. finding super glue to fix my wife's glasses...!). The hotel is well placed for supermarkets/other shopping, but also only a short ride away from Bridgetown (about 10 mins by bus) or Oistins (about 15mins by bus). For us, the hotel and staff together made our Barbados trip the memory it is and for that, we thanks them all.

I really do love the place very tranquil the room was clean. The hot water was a bit inconsistent with temperature. The people were very friendly and engaging.

On arrival I was placed in a room with a massive tree obstructing the view, instead of the room I’d pre paid for. I was told the phone lines were apparently down in the room I’d booked.

I then had to beg to be moved back to the room I had originally paid for.

Whilst in the new accommodation I then had the WiFi intermittently terminated and the phone lines would work only when staff needed to contact me but rarely when I needed to call down to reception

I was then told that if I didn’t complete a credit mandate I could not order room service or any food from the restaurant and on that day most of the fast food outlets were closed so I nearly didn’t eat that day as I couldn’t leave the room

Email communications with the coral mist reservations manager about a query I had regarding the room tax levy, were not as helpful as they should have been

We were happy with the hotel room and property. Our room was large and spacious, clean, and had a beautiful view overlooking the beach. Bed was comfortable and we appreciated having a full kitchen to save some on eating out. Some of the decore was a bit dated but it fit the relaxed vibe of the hotel. The pool area and beach was clean. Complimentary lounge chairs, umbrellas, side tables, and beach towels were available on request. The sand was perfect! Hardly a rock or shell to be found because it was so smooth. The water was a bit rough, lots of waves and moderate current, but we didn’t kind. We were told that the public beach a few mins away was calmer and better for swimming/kids but we were content right where we were. Can’t beat the location! Coral mist is just a 5 min walk away from the grocery store, several restaurants, a public beach, and shops. We did not eat at the restaurant on site. Overall we feel the Coral Mist was wonderful and extremely affordable given the amenities/property. We would stay again.

We loved our view of the sea. Staff were kind and accommodating. The one drawback was the location of the room. Right next to the restaurant, which meant diners could see in our room but, more importantly, we heard early kitchen noise. Quite early. A bit of a drawback. Would book again , perhaps not in that room .

I chose to stay at this property because of its location to the beach & shops.

The complimentary Rum punch was 1 of the best on the island.

The maid Sheenan & Reggie were great. The rest of the staff we met however, the service they gave us was terrible. Certainly not as I remember the local Bajan people being on my previous visits to Barbados. We felt an inconvenience being there. Whether this was due to Covid etc I’m not sure, but it shouldn’t of affected how we were treated as guests.

We arrived at the hotel to be told the lift was out of order for the whole duration of our stay, this really impacted us as we have a toddler & pram. We were given a room on the top floor which meant my partner & I had to struggle up & down 4 floors in the heat with the pram & suitcases. After afew days of doing this my partner pulled his back & was in a lot of pain. Surely we should of been notified of this before travelling? We would have chosen to make alternative arrangements to our accommodation if we’d if known in advance.

Room was on the first floor with doors opening to a patio and easy beach access! It was a large space, nice kitchen, and beautiful view. The restaurant next door was literally 5 steps from my room and offered delivery for when we wanted breakfast in bed. The food and drinks were great! Place was within walking distance (5 min) from Champers too!

This is my third time staying at this hotel and it just keeps getting worse. The room was old and way smaller than what I've stayed in at this hotel previously and the AC was dripping. The one thing we wanted from the breakfast menu was unavailable for our entire stay which was a week. To top it off the front desk is reluctant to assist in anything. They will speak to you in a nice manner but no follow through. It was just disappointing.
