Stay was okay for a quick trip out to Barbados. It is nice to go out on the beach in the morning to see the horses but all the hustling trying to happen became annoying. Not really conveniently located to much but transportation is available. The bartenders were extremely kind and I like they do salsa night on Fridays. Again, it was alright for a brief stay but not anything to call home about. Wouldn’t return.

As other reviews have mentioned, yes, the property is somewhat dated. Outside could use some reconditioning. Some updates to the restaurant area would be nice as well. But overall my family was very comfortable at this hotel. Room was good and bathroom had a double sink which was helpful. Other reviews complained about the AC. Ours was working perfectly and was nice and cold. Also the location was very nice right on the beach. But the best part of this hotel was the staff. Each person we spoke too was very helpful and friendly. And the tour desk representatives were extremely helpful! So in summary, I found the Radisson, comfortable, friendly, and in a good location. If your looking for fancy and plush there are other hotels on the island. But in my opinion, the Radisson was fine.

The properly is very old and run down. It seems like there has been no renovations or upgrade of this property since it was built. There was roaches in the rooms, old and broken furniture, bathroom was disgusted, the room smell as sewage and smells moldy. I wouldn't recommend this place.

Great location for those with kids. Staff is friendly and willing to ensure you have a comfortable stay. Bathrooms i.e. bathtubs/shower combination needs updating however the staff always makes sure its clean even those you see the age signs and sliding doors tracks to the balcony needs to be fixed as its a bit difficult to slide to open. Would definitely stay again because of the staff and beach which is super calm. Transportation is easy to get around. Definitely a relaxing vacation.

The staff were friendly. However we experienced problems with the wifi that wasn't resolved, the coffee maker in the room can only brew one cup of coffee per day. However, staff organized to have coffee to us daily free of charge. The sheets were white and looked clean but had a bad smell. The place overall was nice, very beautiful.

The stuff was not friendly except when you check in, they give you a drink.
Hotel needs to have a good renovation. Bathrooms are in pretty bad condition.

This property was out dated the building was falling apart on the outside and inside it was mold in the rooms I paid for ocean view and looked out my window and saw trees and a dirty roof there was new construction so it was noisy early in the morning they had limited food options and it took forever to get the food that was ordered . The pool was super small I wouldn’t recommend this resort to anyone

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. We didn't get a late check out due to the unavailability of rooms, however, they stored out luggage and gave us a room to take a shower can change for 30 mins before heading to the airport. The location was also great and directly on a beautiful beach. My only issue was the noisy ac unit and I would recommend house keeping replenish the bath soap as well. Aside from that, we have a great time

The Dowager shows her age. This was once a glorious hotel. It is in need of a serious renovation. The building on the end of the pier could be a gold mine if renovated. Put the open Kyoto in the middle and all seating on the perimeter. That view and vantage point would be in breathable. Staff was great incredibly friendly & knowledgeable.

Hotel staff is always excellent and very accommodating. The property has been in decline for a while. The bathroom was in terrible condition. The tub did not drain, sinks did not drain and the toilet required a service call. The tub was stained and looked dirty. The furniture is old and worn. While I have loved this location for years, this will probably be our last stay. The location is amazing though, you cannot beat it. But I will have to find another place.

It is an insult to Travelocity to even list this property. We were booked for a week and checked out after 2 nights and moved to another hotel. Toilet didn't flush, shower wouldn't turn off, half the electrical outlets didn't work, and wifi was iffy at best in our room.

Only one restaurant at the hotel and dining staff acted like we were an inconvenience. Would not recommend this place at all and would never stay again. It should be knocked down.

Property is NOT in good condition. All amenities is outdated. The paint and walls
Have rust, paint literally falling off building. Not sure why the owner is able to continue opening for business and allowing guest to still book & stay. Staff is friendly but the premises is not clean nor safe to function for business, it’s funny I’m unable to upload photos with my review. But there are plenty other hotels to choose from so please do that. Seablast is damaging property and alot of repairs are needed. So save yourself the disappointment and do not stay here.

The staff and people were nice. Other than 1 restaurant, there really wasn't anything else at the hotel. The hotel needs to be updated, especially our room. We had issues with our room and they did their best to address the issues but we gave up. We were lucky another hotel was nearby that had restaurants and bars. I was surprised the Radisson was run down. I've stayed at other ones and they were good.

Staff was amazing. Shania and Akeelah went above and beyond to accommodate my husband and I. They had refreshments in our room when we arrived. Everyday they replaced refreshments. They surprised me for my birthday with a complimentary cake and wine. They helped us with tours. The front desk people were great with questions regarding area and restaurants just an amazing time. We will be returning next January!

G's SCUBA Diving boat picks up AT the hotel and he's the best
Spacious clean rooms
Very clean beach with very calm waters
Availability of beach chairs without getting up at 1am to reserve them
Royal horses are brought to swim every morning between 5-7am (you can ride them, swim with them, take photos with them etc)
It's quiet
It's very clean
The staff is very courteous and professional
There are plenty of places to eat that are spectacular within a half minute walk (yes really) to a 20 minute walk
Excellent value for the price
Monkeys you can feed within a two minute walk at sunup and sun down.

Cons
The hotel restaurant has horrible food. Nearly inedible in my eyes. The breakfast buffet is decent.
You aren't really in the heart of downtown or too close to that either. It's not the main strip, but it's still a good location for anyone that doesn't need 500 different close by restaurants etc.
The hotel is out of date. That said, there's nothing wrong with it. It's in good shape. Is it older? Yes. Is it bad? Not at all. The pool area is bland, but when you're on spectacular water you really don't need the pool anyway. Also, the beach bar could be better staffed. Granted, you're 10' from another bar anyway.

Overall, our trip was excellent. We loved the hotel despite the shortcomings it has. I can't think of a better place for value that covers all the important factors.

The check-in was a very easy process. Staff were super nice, courteous and extremely friendly. The property has the best location! The beach is beautiful and you are right at the shipwrecks. The rooms were spacious, the beds were comfortable and the cleaning staff were nice and really good. The food at the restaurant was actually really good.

However, my latest experience has raised several issues that I believe need to be addressed.Upon arrival at the Radisson Aquatica Barbados Hotel on 4/9/2023, I noticed a significant difference between the advertised images and the actual condition of the hotel as well as the “Ocean Front Room” that I booked. The was not consistent with the clean and well-maintained spaces shown online. Instead, the accommodation was completely rundown, with rusted materials and non-functional amenities such as the refrigerator and air conditioning. Firstly, the state of the room was concerning. The walls and fixtures had rust, and the paint was peeling in various parts of the bathroom door and other areas, which was documented on video and camera. This condition raised questions about the overall cleanliness and safety of the environment.
Additionally, the refrigerator in the room was not functioning correctly. As someone who needs to store food and beverages during my stay, this was a considerable inconvenience. Despite attempts to adjust the settings, the refrigerator remained unusable.
Secondly, In addition, the water was shut off on 4/13 from 1pm-6pm for guest and it also took 4-5 hours daily for clean towels. Truly Not The Best!

As most reviews state, the hotel needs a complete outside refurbishment. Other than that, this is a gem! Amazing location, staff goes above and beyond. My only complainment is that pool towels are not replenished until 11:30 so bring towels from prior day back to the room to start, then swap out for clean towels. All in all, we loved our time in Barbados.

If your looking for a huge 4 star complex, head down the road to the Hilton. However, if your looking for a great hotel, with fantastic staff, in the best location possible (step out of the lobby onto the beach!) this place is for you. As you can read in some other reviews, it has some areas that look a bit worn (inside and out), but my bed was extremely comfortable, with a lovely deck and A/C that wasn't loud, and kept perfect temperature. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Lots of places for food within walking distance, and several right on the beach where you can dine and listen to the ocean at the same time.
Would definitely stay there again

Overall I found it average. The amount per night does not reflect what I paid for. Pillows smelt bad like sweat. Did not feel safe in our first room and there was a few concerns about the safety. I can provide proof with videos.

We were upgraded and it felt better. The lady at the front desk who works the day shift on sunday was amazing as well as Trey the manager, but the young lady with glasses was horrible and was not helpful. She lied I yelled which is untrue. She needs retraining.

They explained the additional fees which I apologized for.

The views from this property are definitely what we went for. They are breathtaking and beautiful. The staff was very helpful and the towel, beach chair, and umbrella guys were fabulous.
The rooms were decent. No luxurious things to list, very basic room. I would say that the outlet situation could have been better. There were only two outlets in the whole bedroom area which was a bit of an inconvenience but we survived. The food and beverage options were mediocre.
We stayed here for the views and proximity to other things. If you get up early enough in the mornings, you can see the horses taking a swim in the ocean.
Overall, we would stay here again because, like I stated above, we went for the views that this hotel provided.

I recently stayed at this hotel, and while the location was fantastic—with easy beach access and beautiful ocean views—the overall experience was disappointing. The hotel is advertised as a four-star property, but in reality, it felt more like a two-star stay.

The biggest issue was the cleanliness of the room. The bathroom could have been maintained better, and the overall level of cleanliness did not meet my expectations for a four-star hotel.

Additionally, the building itself felt outdated and poorly maintained. The condition of the facilities did not match the advertised rating, making the stay less enjoyable than anticipated.

The only saving grace was the location—being right by the beach was a huge plus. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t stay here again unless significant improvements were made to cleanliness and upkeep.
